Beloved husband of Kris (nee Tobin) Brown. Loving father of Tori, Dylan, Dakota, Caelum and Mason. Cherished son of Judy (Chuck Confer) Vishion and the late Jerold Brown. Son in law of Thomas and Karen Tobin. Brother of Shannon Fogarty and Ryan (Becky) Vishion. Uncle of Mackenzie, Brendan, Sean and other loving nieces and nephews. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Brown, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, on July 15, 2025, in Buffalo, NY. Stephen was a pillar of strength and love in his family, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Stephen was born on March 10, 1950, in Buffalo, NY, to the late John and Margaret Brown. He grew up in the city and attended Buffalo High School, where he was known for his kindness and sense of humor. After graduation, Stephen went on to work as a mechanic at a local auto shop, where he built a reputation for his exceptional skill and dedication to his craft.

In 1975, Stephen married the love of his life, Sarah, and together they raised three children: Michael, Emily, and David. Stephen was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family first and providing unwavering support and love to those he held dear. He was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and laughter.

Stephen was known for his love of fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He had a passion for fixing things and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

A funeral service to celebrate Stephen’s life will be held on July 20, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church in Buffalo, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Stephen’s memory.

Stephen Brown will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
