The show’s massive appeal has led to the creation of one of the most anticipated network shows of 2025, Suits L.A.

Since its release in 2011, Suits has been revered as one of the best legal dramas, and now with the premiere of Suits L.A. close by, the flagship series may finally have some tough competition. However, despite Suits‘ popularity, there has always been something slightly off about the show. Now, with the upcoming spinoff, the franchise can finally do a better version of the original Suits.

Where Suits focused on the legal duo between Mike and Harvey, Suits L.A. will have a completely different premise and will instead focus on Ted Black as the lead with a featured ensemble cast. In Suits L.A., Ted is a former prosecutor who becomes a defense attorney in criminal and entertainment law. This allows the legal drama to be Suits without its lie. Ted and his team are highly trained lawyers who actually attended law school and have genuine experience practicing law.

Suits remains one of the best legal dramas, but Suits L.A. can finally fix its biggest problem by having the characters of the spinoff stay honest about their credentials.
