FOX 5’s Tucker Barnes is tracking the latest models and says we could be in for a snowy afternoon by the end of the weekend.
A frontal system will bring a few showers to the area on Saturday. “By Sunday we get an area low pressure just offshore as that arctic air moves in and boom! We got a little patch of snow that develops across the Mid-Atlantic,” Barnes says.
“The modeling is trying to give a widespread two to four inches of snow across the area,” he added.
“We’ll have to watch the evolution of this system for Sunday as snow is likely and then behind it, it’s just going to be frozen solid around here Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.”
