Suns-Clippers live updates: Phoenix seeks 3rd straight win vs Harden, LA

The Phoenix Suns (23-21) host the Los Angeles Clippers (26-19) on Monday, airing on Arizona’s Family (Ch. 3 TV) and NBA TV at 7:30 p.m.

This is the Suns’ second game of their three-game homestand and the third of a four-game Pacific Division season series. The Suns won the first two meetings in L.A. in October. Both teams are going for their third straight win.

Led by Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the Western Conference’s eighth-place Suns have played well in January, winning seven of their last nine, and are 8-4 overall this month. The Clippers are sixth in the West standings, led by veteran stars James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, plus their top scorer this season Norman Powell.

Ryan Dunn out for Suns, Kris Dunn out for Clippers

Phoenix is almost fully healthy, but will be without top rookie and starting wing Ryan Dunn. He sprained his left ankle in the Suns’ 119-109 win over Washington on Saturday.

The Clippers’ backup guard Kris Dunn — no relation to Ryan — is out because of left knee injury management. Cam Christie (left ankle), Jordan Miller (illness) and former Suns’ forward P.J. Tucker (not with team) also are out.
