I needed to replace my compact projector that I purchased a few years back. First impressions of the FUDONI projector was well built (and well protected during shipping). It was a bit larger than my 'pocket projector' I had earlier, but the FUDONI projector sure packs a punch! I won't compare to my prior projector anymore, as there really isn't a comparison… The old projector needed a pitch black room to see the picture, whereas with the FUDONI projector can be used almost anywhere/anytime.Size – The FUDONI projector is about the size of my hand and has the weight of a well built device without being too heavy. All the cables are included in the shipping box, which I would recommend as a storage and transportation box as needed. I tripod connector is on the bottom of the device which will come into use when using at a portable location.Initial setup – this was about as simple as it gets! Plugged in the device, projected onto a bare wall, and the home screen provides quick access to several inputs (HDMI, VGA, USB, Bluetooth, and Screen Mirroring). I started with screen mirroring to my iPhone. Connecting to my home wireless network took about 15 seconds, and then I was able to mirror directly to the device.     Quality of picture and sound – I was shocked at the quality of both the picture and sound of the FUDONI projector! As mentioned earlier, the brightness (or lumens) output by this projector allows viewing during the day in a normal room in the house – dark basement room isn't needed! This is a huge benefit from lower brightness projectors. The sound from the internal speakers also shocked me. I was sitting 20 feet away from the projector and the sound was perfect. I tested with an external speaker as well, and to be honest, the internal speaker sounded better – more 'stereo' than my external speaker. Out of the box, both the picture and sound were great, but within the settings menu, there are more settings if you wish to customize.

    Other features – Sleep Mode – this is great, especially with the kids always leaving things on. Having a sleep mode will help conserve power and the life of the projector when it's not in use. Lens Cover – while seems basic, this lens cover is well manufactured and will protect the lens from dirt and scratches. Remote – since I was able to control everything from my iPhone, I haven't used the remote yet, but I am certain it will come into use in the future. Screen – I have a screen that I built earlier, so didn't review the included screen, but will be a great benefit to some – especially those with dark walls.

    Final takeaway – With all the choices of projectors available today, this FUDONI projector packs a bunch of power in a compact size. The picture and sound are on par with industrual projectors costing thousands of dollars. I would highly recommend this projector to anyone in the market!

    The projector has good input connections with USB, HDMI, micro SD, AV, and VGA ports for compositing via the included cable. I tested movies on both the Firestick and the USB stick without any problems. The menus are easy to navigate and label, so even without reading the manual, there are no problems. The picture quality was very good. The images are clear, with good contrast, brightness, and color in a dark room. I also tested it in daylight and the image was fine. No problems with fast-moving movies, so no problems handling action scenes. The sound from the projector was surprisingly good, clear and loud. I also tested the Bluetooth and it connected smoothly. But the projector itself sounded good enough. For the price, this is a very capable projector and I would definitely recommend it!

    It was fairly easy to configure and I have it mounted to the ceiling. The volume that some complained about it not bad in a bedroom where this is but I would still recommend connecting it to a Bluetooth speaker for better sound. The only issue I had with it, and maybe there is a setting I have missed, was I there is no zoom feature to adjust the size on the screen. On larger projectors I have had in the past, there was a lever on them to change the picture size. The one in that spot for this projector is to adjust the picture shape when the projector is at an angle to the flat well. That worked great but my picture is slightly larger than the screen on the wall. I did not see a way in any of the menus to adjust the picture size. For the price though, it was cheaper than replacing the bulb on the old projector we had. My daughter can project her phone to this one as well which is great as we only had HDMI before.

      The picture quality 1080p of this product shocked me. Havent tested the 4k as yet but Im sure I will be impressed. I use it on concrete wall and it showed so clean and clear, I was impressed. Along side the audio which is very good, I don't even go beyond 40% as this is loud for me.

      The built-in Android TV, makes it stand out. As I load up some android apks on my usb and install 3rd party apps with ease. I saw users mention the Netflix was not working and the description itself stated this. But for me, I have no issues with Netflix was able to view my movies with ease. Netflix and youtube works just fine for me.

      I love the automatic screen size/angle correction, which quickly adjusts the image for a perfectly aligned display from any angle. But all can be easily tweak to suit manually in settings. Especially the ease of adjusting the sharpness right from the remote control.

      Overall, I am very very happy with this purchase.

      I've had a small projectors in the past but they are usually very small and flimsy..this one is stable and sturdy and has a base plate that helps balance it on most surfaces.

      My kids love this. We purchased it after we had our pool installed so that we could have floating movie nights. We project the image on the side of our shed and it does a great job. The building speakers are pretty good, but we usually opt to hook it up to our surround sound system. Connecting to my phone or my surroundsound is no problem at all. It uses Bluetooth and makes it really easy. The colors are very vibrant and the value for your money is amazing!

      I was excited for this product, as my college-aged daughter was planning to use it in her dorm room for movie nights with her roommates. Unfortunately, when she set it up after arrival, it did not work as expected.

      The sound quality and resolution are solid, but the fan running on the bottom is quite loud and gets hot quickly. While screencasting did work on her iPhone, and she was able to see it reach the Netflix home page, after clicking on a show/movie to watch, the projection would cease to match the phone, and the show would play on the phone while the projection stayed on the loading screen. She was able to get it working once, but then it wouldn't anymore, even after shutting down, restarting, and reconnecting. We tried connecting the HDMI cord provided to the projector and her laptop, but it simply stated that the connection was unstable and would not show anything further than that. And yes, the laptop, projector, and iPhone were all on the same Wifi, so that could not have been the issue.

      Also, it does not state clearly in the product description that it will not play any Disney Plus shows/movies. We were able to hear the audio but the visuals would not project. Also, as far as we can tell, the product must remain plugged in for the duration of use, which is not ideal for her situation.

      Sadly, we will be returning in hopes of finding a different, better product.
