We're doing a military move that got tricky because our destination house fell through after our source house got packed up and every we own including our TVs is in storage.In comes this projector. We wanted a cheap "TV". Bro, this was sub $200 black Friday. Woza blown out of the water. We even have a textured wall and barely notice it. When we get to our new place we're doing the full setup right with a screen and mounting it but right now we got this taking up a whole wall and it looks great. Like an 85 to 120 in tv based on if in our living room or bed room.We bought some cheap $16 computer speakers and this has blown all our expectations out of the water. The built in speakers aren't bad either.If you're looking for an intro but quality projector unit this is it.I don't know anything about projectors etc. My options were this or pick up a 32 in tv from Walmart for this price range so I gave this a shot. I am incredibly happy with this.

    After trying a few different cheap options from Amazon and being let down, I’m happy to say I finally found a good one!

    The video quality is fantastic—everything looks sharp and smooth. It’s also super responsive, with no lag when switching between apps, which was a problem with the others I tried. It supports all the apps I use regularly, like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Max, without any issues.

    The remote is a nice bonus—it’s got plenty of useful buttons and works no matter how you’re pointing it, so you don’t have to aim it perfectly every time.

    Overall, this device has been a great find. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for something reliable and easy to use.

    Like most everyone else who has posted here, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this projector! I was just expecting a no frills projector, but it's actually a smart device and includes some great apps, the most important one for me being Plex! It also has a very limited app store, but I didn't buy the projector for apps, so I want to just focus on the projector and its quality.
    I don't have a screen for this yet (you can get a free screen by registering the device for the warranty), but projected it to my living room ceiling, and the picture quality is incredible. The colors are vivid and the auto-focus worked great. If you move the device, it will detect the motion and quickly re-focus.
    I've only had it for a couple of days and don't know how long the lamp will last, but for the price, this is an amazing project.
    One last point – I know they throw around the word "4K", but please keep in mind the resolution is 1080P but it SUPPORTS 4K video, which will be downscaled to 1080P. They are clear about this in the manual.

    This is my initial review having just set this up the way I want & watching shows today. Will update if things change.

    This is an upgrade from my old projector of the same price range. This has everything the other didn't. The old one was my first projector, well call it Bobby. After I got to know Bobby there were some things I wished he had. Better remote, more viewing options, more settings, better interface and so forth. This projector, let's call it Barry. I've just meet Barry and already he has checked alllllll my boxes. Image quality excellent & I'm not one to always notice that but the detail he displays is awesome. Barry has clarity. Bobby was getting burnt out after only a few months. I do use him like a TV for LONG periods of time. Bobby had a speck on his lens I couldn't clean. He was getting more and more burnt out. White was no longer white, the brightness was gone from his lens. Barry, has such a beautiful light, really crisp & completely visible with window open or light on inside. The perfect level. His remote works with my firestick and my sound bar, one remote now, not 3. Barry's remote has convenient buttons to access menu, settings, and source. He is pretty quiet, sounds like a/c running in other room somewhat. Low steady easy to tune out.

    All that praise for Barry, he does have a flaw. His auto focus & keystone features don't really work, at least for me. If you have is zoomed in for a smaller projection area and if he is jostled in the slightest the projection goes back to full size. Then you have to go in & zoom it down & whatever else you have tailored to your liking.

    I am willing to accept Barry's flaw if he stays bright & crip for a good long while. I will do my part to help keep him from burnout.

    I read a lot of reviews and everyone says how good the display is but no one really says anything about the build in speakers. The speakers are pretty amazing for something that’s coming out of a small box. I would highly recommend this projector.

    The only real down side is if you want perfect picture it definitely has to be in a dark room.

    I turned on my projector and the autofocus was not auto-focusing. I can not even see what's on the screen. They were supposed to send me a "new" one but I purchased it and got a defective item. Not worth buying. I could not find anything on the internet about how to fix auto-focus manually since I can't even see what is displaying. If they can not solve my problem, I will most likely return the item. And the worst part is I ended up financing this item, so yeah. I do not feel like I received my money's worth.

    Amazing quality for the price!!!
    I used to have crap projector and wanted an upgrade since I love using it to watch everything and decided to give this projector and chance, and I can say it is a game changer. The projector is so bright and the colors are so vivid even if I have the lights on, also the features that it comes with is amazing, I can AirPlay my phone to it or even use Bluetooth so I’m not always tethered to a cord. Also the remote control makes things so much easier so I don’t have to get up to fix the projector. I definitely recommend this projector for anyone that wants a good quality projector.

      The JOWLURK Projector was impressive and really easy to set up. The first thing I noticed was how bright the picture was and how crystal-clear the visuals are even in when I got too much light in the room.

      I also could tell the difference between the 1080p resolution this projector has and the other 720p I’ve used in the past. It really created some HD visuals I could tell the difference.

      Another thing I didnt realize until after I bought the projector was the The auto-keystone correction thingy. In the past I used to have to adjust the image manually to find the quality of picture but with this projector does it automatically. So I’d say compatibility is another strong point of this device. I think my grandma could work this projector.

      Overall, the JOWLURK projector is great, I like it and happy I got it. If you need a compact projector this is a good option.

      Packaging was great. Ease of setup is VERY user friendly. Has plenty of ports both USB & HDMI in order to connect your devices directly to the projector for easy source changing. That being said the speakers on the projector itself is decent quality. Don’t go expecting surround sound, but the fact that you are able to Bluetooth connect and or aux cord connect to a speaker system/sound bar system is just the icing on the cake to ensure optimal viewing experience. Displayed in my photos the projector was on a white textured wall. No white matter protector screen and or sheet. My currently is broken but the fact that the picture quality is great just being projected onto a wall surface, I know for a fact the quality will be AMAZING on a true projector screen setup. I see myself certainly using the IOS mirroring for games and such. Especially for crazy cool night on the beach. It is cord powered but nowadays, vehicles have the abilities to plugin electronic accessories which makes the projector versatile and worth the investment!

      We bought this projector for our newest college student. She is loving it. Great picture for a dark dorm room. As you can see in the picture, it came with a replacement filter and cleaning swabs. This is a nice addition – we have another projector room in the house and having these little extras is very convenient.
      I included two additional pictures – the first shows how simple it was to connect my phone directly to the projector in order to stream videos, very slick and much easier than using the HDMI cord (which was also included). The second picture is on my phone camera when I screen share – taking a picture while connected. Very clear picture – focusing is on the remote and easy to do from anywhere in the room, better than my older projectors which require you to manually spin a dial.

      Easy to transport to other locations – just need to connect to the wifi to screen share. No wifi? NO Problem! use the cord and connect to your computer or dvd player (among other options)

      Lastly, you might notice a green tint in the pictures – This was the color of the wall, not an issue with the projector. It did not bother her, but might be a little better if you used a more neutral or white background.

      Overall, very pleased with this bright new toy!

    Awesome Entry Level Projector
    After some indecision and doubt about buying a budget projector I am very pleased with this one.I have tried it with a Xbox one, a firetv stick and 5.1 speakers and I am pleased with the result.The technology has come so far and prices are so much more affordable. After unboxing, I felt the directions were a bit minimal . As soon as I plugged this projector in, it was at 100% screen size and focus was blurry. With the minimal documentation, had to figure out on how to zoom out and adjust focus and horizontal correction. It has a user interface with apps and options much like Roku or a Fire TV stick would have. It connects to wifi and the entertainment options are plentiful.The box itself is set up nicely with a handle, so that you can store it for travel to a meeting. The unit itself feels light weight and durable.The picture is super bright.       After some indecision and doubt about buying a budget projector I am very pleased with this one.
      I have tried it with a Xbox one, a firetv stick and 5.1 speakers and I am pleased with the result.

      The technology has come so far and prices are so much more affordable. After unboxing, I felt the directions were a bit minimal . As soon as I plugged this projector in, it was at 100% screen size and focus was blurry. With the minimal documentation, had to figure out on how to zoom out and adjust focus and horizontal correction. It has a user interface with apps and options much like Roku or a Fire TV stick would have. It connects to wifi and the entertainment options are plentiful.

      The box itself is set up nicely with a handle, so that you can store it for travel to a meeting. The unit itself feels light weight and durable.

      I’ve been using the TMY Mini Projector for a little while now, and I’m honestly impressed with how much you get for the price.       So first the quality is great.

      Pros: nice sound. Actually it’s worth double! Doesn’t overheat. And I love using it in my bathroom.
      Very compact and light weight. Easy to use.

      Cons: you can’t connect your phone directly by Bluetooth. You will need a connection lighting HDMI piece.
      The only thing that truly bothers me and the reason this review has 4 stars instead of 5, is because there’s a slight slant on one side of the projector and no matter how many different things I adjust, it remains the same way. Maybe it’s just mine, but instead of the screen showing even on all sides, it small on one side and much larger on the other, which you may be able to see in the video I took.

      Overall, is it worth the price? Sure! Go ahead and get it yourself to see 🙂
