This product is a great value and quality for the price. I bought two of them as Christmas presents for my family and my sisters family. We used ours to create a family movie night and we certainly do not regret it. We’re amateurs at using projectors, but we had ours up and running in thirty minutes.     I was nervous about buying this but I’m so glad I did!

    Video: the video quality is extremely impressive! I honestly didn’t expect an image this clear. It is a projector, so the darker the room the better, but honestly as long as the wall the image is on is dark it’ll be clear. The screen size is adjustable based on how close your projector is to the wall (father away = larger screen) and you can focus the image based on that distance.

    Sound: The sound range of this projector is way more impressive than I expected! The video I took with my review I have the volume at 40 and it goes to 100. It no surround sound or high quality speaker, the sound balance isn’t great as the loud parts are a bit loud and quiet parts are very quiet, but overall it isn’t bad. The one down side to the projector and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the fan to keep it cool is a little on the loud side. While the fan isn’t horribly loud, it is noticeable in quiet movie moments. I will note that I live in an apartment so I try to keep the volume lower out of respect for my neighbors so this issue is probably more noticeable for me than for those in a home or outside where you can turn the volume up and drown out the fan better.

    Set Up: set up is relatively easy. I had a little difficultly with the sound during the initial set up process with my firestick but the fix was a simple sound setting alteration. I would recommend purchasing a projector stand and you’ll probably want an extension cord if you plan to set up the projector more than 2 feet from the wall.

    But overall, love my projector and can’t wait to do movie nights with friends!

    Beware- misleading lumen specs – not bright when projected

    Lumens tell you the brightness the projector’s lamp is able to produce. But this is only half the story. Not comparable to properly tested 8000 lumen projector. Look for ratings in ANSI lumens. A standardized procedure for testing projectors has been established by the American National Standards Institute, which involves averaging together several measurements taken at different positions. For marketing purposes, the luminous flux of projectors that have been tested according to this procedure may be quoted in "ANSI lumens", to distinguish them from those tested by other methods. ANSI lumen measurements are in general more accurate than the other measurement techniques used in the projector industry. This allows projectors to be more easily compared on the basis of their brightness specifications.

    In practice the light from the projector lamp diminishes significantly before it’s projected onto the screen. On average only 30% of the light source’s output actually reaches the screen. Some cheap projector manufacturers will only advertise the lumen output of the light source to mislead customers about how bright their beamers are. They may advertise a budget projector as having 2500 lumens, but in fact the actual light output is only 750 lumens.

    That’s where ANSI lumens come in. ANSI Lumens are a unit, defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), that measures the overall amount of light delivered by a projector. Not just the lamp’s light output.

    An ANSI lumen measures the brightest white that the projector can output. It is measured by taking meter readings on a projected 100% white image. The projected area is divided into 9 zones using a 2° or less light meter. You then average the measurements together and the number you get is the ANSI lumens of a projector. This number tells you the maximum brightness that the projector can actually produce on a cinema screen.

    I have never written a review. This is a review for the EUG Full HD 1080p 3600 Lumens LCD LED I put the make and model or full discreption because sometimes the reviews that amazon has are not for the right product it might be the right brand but not the right model you have to be really careful reading reviews it drives me crazy.This was my 2nd Projector from Amazon. Let me give some history.I was builing a theater room in our basement I was going to wait a for the 80and85 in TVs to come down in price I was never a fan of projectors but a friend of mine had just replaced his old projector with a new LED projector and talked me into trying one out I couldn't believe how affordable these new projectors are. March 2016 from Amazon I first bought a projector that was 2800 lum with 1500:1 ratio supported 1080p for $170 along with a $30 100inch screen.It was better than I expected. I was sold on the projectors. I was not going to worry about trying any more projectors. I will admit I'm kind of picky about picture quality. The more I watched and adjusted, I just couldn't quite get the darks adjusted the way I like them even though the overall picture quality was great for $170. I just wanted a little better contrast.In Dec 2016 I was curious and looked again and found this one the EUG Full HD 1080p 3600 Lumens LCD LEDIt's specs were a little better than mine even though it was a different brand I could tell it was the same projector just under a different brand. I decided to try it out and yes it is just like my first one I even used my old remote. This projector was more than double the price of my first projector and that doesn't mean it was double the quality But they had deffantly updated the electronics dark contrast and even the colors were better and a little sharper. I am very happy with this purchase. I won't upgrade until they come out with a 4KLED projector.Just a few helpful important side notes and there are pros and cons to everything. The pictures were taken with my note 4 and the projector is better than the pictures I posted. It is important that you know exactly how your going to be using a projector if you need to use it in a well lighted room LED projectors the darker the room the better the picture. When I was looking for a projector I was reading that the keystone adjustment make the picture blurryg the more you have to adjust it with alot of these cheaper LEDs I made sure that when I hung my projector that I wasn't going to have use the keystone adjustment, and yes is does distort the picture using the keystone adjustment. I also read that the screen size is totally dependant on how far away or close your projector is. So I hung my projector exactly were it needed to be for a 100inch screen. Yes you can here the fan but I am watching it with a home theater sound system I do not notice it when I'm watching a show. Also I may just be tuning it out. It doesn't bother my family the didn't even think about the noise. But yes they are kids and don't always pay attention to those kind if things. Speaking of kids one of the reasons I bought LED projector the LED light is suppose to last 30000-50000hrs. Most bulbs projectors are 3000-5000hrs. My kids leave the projector on all the time. I bought this to work with my Roku 4 and WiiU throgh an Onkio reciever and so the built in android system was not important to me in my application. We watch all our movies through our plex media server Netflix ext ext.. I don't know why anyone would want to use the speaker on a projector. Some reviewers gave this a 1 star I just don't know how this projector deserves a 1 star and yes I did purchase the projector and am using it. I understand that there may be times we may get a product that is diffective.       I really like this projector, especially for the money. The only cons I have are the sound quality and the fact the system can not get software upgrades. My husband was able to over come the sound quality since it is blue tooth compatible and hooked it up to a speaker we have so it worked great. The picture quality is fantastic and it was pretty simple to set up. We love the fact we can stream off of different apps and the quality of the picture – based on the different apps – is pretty consistent. You just have to remember – I would imagine it's the same with any projector – the distance between the project and the screen – as well as size screen you are using…ours is 20ft tall – determines the quality of the picture. Over all I am very happy with our purchase and would purchase it again. Another thing that is really great is the seller of the projector is extremely easy to reach and very responsive in answering questions. They honestly want you to be happy with their product and are willing to work with you and make things right if you aren't. I would most assuredly purchase from them again!! Granted – I would purchase one from them that had the option to upgrade the software!! :):):):):):)

      Color: [Hot Sale] Wi-Fi Bluetooth Projector 5500LMVerified Purchase

      This projector was a gamble, but it totally paid off. Shopping for a projector is overwhelming. There are so many options ranging in cost from $80- $3,000. This had good reviews, was a few hundred dollars, and had the features I was looking for; mainly 1) Outdoor use, 2) minimum 1080p, 3) Built in Android, Wifi, and Bluetooth.
      Setting up was very easy and I bought this mount – Vivo Universal Adjustable White Ceiling Projector – to suspend it from the ceiling on our sunporch. The mount was easy to install and fit this projector. Let's review some key features individually:
      1) Outdoor use- Our sunporch is mostly shaded for most of the day. Obviously the picture is stellar at night, but even during the day its pretty solid. A bit lighter, but good enough to still enjoy mid-day sports games.
      2) Startup- The way I have it setup is a little cumbersome but sure there is a better way. When turning on, there is a switch in the back and I have to remove the lens cap. These two actions usually move the projector slightly meaning I need to realign it with the screen every time I turn it on. Then power on the unit with the remote control. Then move to HDMI 2 to get to Amazon TV stick.
      3) Amazon Fire? But I thought this had Android built in? It does, but I ran into a few issues here. Most of my watching is on Hulu and the Hulu app fails every time I try to download it. The second issue is the process to type in the usernames and passwords takes forever. I am not one to use simple passwords which means signing into everything is a lengthy process. The wrap around keyboard speeds things up significantly. Another words when I want to type A and then L, I actually go left for the fastest route to L. On this setup, I have to go across the keyboard to L and then back again to Q. A small inconvenience honestly and easily bypassed by using another video source.
      4) Bluetooth Connection- Easy to setup and works great. I used the internal speakers for a few days while I tried to settle on the right outside speaker. The internal speakers are pretty good for watching maybe TV or sports. No it is not going to have depth or be heard with a lot of background noise, but in our quiet sun porch, it was more than enough. I would say its similar to just a TV speaker versus some type of soundbar or special setup. I chose the new Sonos move and it works great.
      5) Customer service- When I first set it up, I could not get the projector speakers to work. I reached out to customer service but being a Saturday night, figured I wouldnt hear back so read the instruction book (I know- backwards). The book explained the issue was changing the audio setting on the Fire TV. I did that and it worked perfectly. Customer Care did write back within just a few hours and Yolanda was extremely nice and helpful. She also took my work around down so she could help other customers with similar issues. She then offered to send me a free 100" projector screen which she said should have been included with the projector but wasnt.     This is a good price for a 200 inch screen at less than $100. Screen is canvas but very white. The wrinkles weren’t a problem for me after I stretched it out over the frame. The grommets are good quality for attaching the screen to a frame. One negative is the loss of brightness due to the amount of light that penetrates the fabric. My projector is powerful enough to overcome this but may require a more powerful projector than other screens.It seems that pvc frames are most popular but I used ¾” emt conduit. It’s plenty strong, light weight, and easy to use. Get 7 10’ lengths plus fittings. I ordered fittings from makerpipe.com.The drawing shows the dimensions and fittings I used. The 3 vertical poles are used full length. Cut the 4 remaining pieces to equal lengths to make the upper and lower cross pieces about 185”. I had to cut each piece again to get to the proper length. The final length was 88 ¾” each but this will depend on the dimensions of the fittings you use. Use a conduit cutter for smooth and easy cuts.When attaching the lower cross piece to the poles, use fittings that allow the pole to pass through without cutting so the cross piece can be raised or lowered to match the screen attachment method you use. To make attaching the screen quick and easy I attached a Velcro strip to each screen grommet. Cut a short slit in one end of the strip with scissors, and thread the strip through the grommet and then through the slit. No more threading bungee cords through grommets each time.Attach one of the left-over pieces of emt to the end of each pole using a “T”. Stand the frame up and rotate the feet out to support it. Be sure to attach strings to the top of each end of the fame for additional support. It doesn’t take much of a breeze to blow it over.I noticed that the center pole was visible during use due to the amount of light it reflected so I sprayed it with flat black paint, which fixed the problem.I'm very happy with the combination screen and frame. I leave the frame assembled and leaning against our camper so set-up is a breeze. I figure if it takes more than 30 minutes to set it up we wouldn't use it as much as we do.

      Did not iron or steam out the wrinkles, however after attaching the screen to the frame and pulling it taught, most of the wrinkles disappeared, and the ones that remained did not affect picture quality at all.

      Built a frame for it that attached directly to the front of the house. (see images) Used 7/8" strut for the frame body, 1/4" strut-nuts with hooks on them to attach bungees to the eyelets. Points of attachment were behind the shutters so no visible holes in the siding. Came out great!

      Great big screen for the money

      Got this for a backyard home theater and works great. Arrived on time, in new condition and no issues with packaging. Constructed a portable frame out of 2" PVC and used a combination of 6" and 9" ball bungees for hanging. It's quite stretchy (like a polyester workout shirt) so you have to find the right amount of tension. Too much and it begins to get out of shape, too little and it will sag due to the weight. But with a reasonable amount of tension there are no visible creases or fold lines and holds it's shape well. The grommets are all consistently spaced and seem reasonably solid. While substantial its not too heavy and the 2" PVC and easily support it. We have only had it for a month and have taken it up and put it away a half dozen times so far with no issue. Screen quality is good with no visible blemishes or stains. Can't comment on how it does after being washed as there hasn't been a need for that to date.

      It does not have a solid or reflective backing so it does need to be reasonably dark to see the picture and backlight will come through. Keep in mind that this thing is BIG! Put up and take down is best with two people and will require a ladder. One could do it, but it wouldn't be fun. Of course, big was the whole point! Overall great purchase for the money, highly recommended and would buy again.

      I received this projection screen with much enthusiasm. The screen seems to be a very durable design however the one issue I ran into is that I cannot get some of the creases out. I received this screen and immediately mounted it onto my wall. In an attempt to remove the wrinkles I made sure to pull the projection surface tight. The screen has been on my walls a little over a week now but the creases continue to be very visible and somewhat distracting. Some of the surfaces have smoothed out and in those areas the images are great. I have not had the opportunity to roll it up tightly in an attempt to remove the blemishes as indicated by instructions because I have no way to store it. I do like the bag that came with it to store the screen in when not in use but I think it will create more creases. At this point I think I would have been better off purchasing a retractable screen that hopefully would not have the creases that this screen has. The materials are sturdy and I think if I can ever get the wrinkles out it will be a great way to project images out side.
