Great for Ceiling Projections
I got this projector to use exclusively while laying in bed, since it can tilt and project onto the ceiling. For this purpose I'm happy with it, as I haven't seen many other projectors with this capability. I also love that it has tons of apps built-in, so even though it has HDMI and USB input options, I haven't found myself using them, which has been super convenient. Navigating between apps and settings is also really snappy which surprised me.Regarding image quality- it's okay, not amazing but it's good enough for a ceiling. If you project onto a wall and get close to it you can see the pixels, but since my main use is the ceiling I'm fine with it.While there are many pros, there are a few things I wish were different as well- starting with the build quality of the projector itself. You can tell it's pretty cheap by feeling it, as it's light, hollow, and plastick-y, which is also reflected in the speakers' audio quality. This isn't a huge deal because you can connect an external speaker (which you probably want to do for any projector) but it's something to note. You also depend entirely on the remote, as there are no buttons except a power button on the projector. If your remote dies or you lose it, you're unable to use the projector which is annoying. Even focusing is done through the remote, while it's normally done physically on the projector itself. I also wish the remote had more buttons, such as keystone correction. To adjust something as basic as this you have to go all the way into settings which can take a bit if you're moving the projector around often.Overall it's an okay projector for the ceiling, but if you're just wanting one for the wall you can probably find better/with more features for the price.

    I bought this projector because I don’t have a tv in my room. I thought it would be a good way to see my shows without having to use a small tablet. First off, the delivery was delayed by over a week by amazon. Then on top of that, when they did deliver it, they left the package out in the rain. The cardboard box was very wet. I was really concerned that I’d have to return the product. To my surprise after opening it, the inside box itself was only slightly wet in the corner. But the projector was so well packaged with styrofoam, etc. that it didn’t reach the projector. Upon using the projector I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was easy to install and had pre installed apps. The picture was large and bright and the way it is built makes it easy to adjust the width of the picture. The sound is decent and it connects to WIFI w/o any issues. It can also connect to a usb thumb drive if you have a movie loaded on one of those. It’s really fun to use on movie family night. It gives the impression that we are in the movie theaters and the kids love it!

I am projecting onto a wall and normal painted surface not intended for image projection. This may be completely different on an actual projection screen with gain.

      Tested with Nvidia Shield Pro @ 1080p via HDMI.

      Get this unit on sale or even with an available coupon and it is really hard to beat. It's very portable and easy to setup when moved. I definitely notice hardware improvements from previous model years. If I encounter any quality issues, I will update my review. As of now, I have no issue recommending this unit for casual projecting.

      For the price it’s actually amazing. Clear picture. I have black out curtains but even when I have my LED lights on it looks really good and clear. The only down sides I have with the projector are that the remote for it controls my LEDs (but if you don’t have LEDs then no problem) and that the fan is a little noisy. The fan that cools it while it’s running got on my nerves at first but after I hooked up a speaker to the projector, I hardly notice it. I suggest hooking a speaker up to it to both hear the sound better (as the sound was pretty low even at its loudest) and to drown the sound of the fan. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase. In case there is anyone on the fence about buying it, I think it will be a decision you definitely won’t regret considering you’re looking at this price range. And even if you don’t like the projector (which I honestly doubt will happen) it’s not like you spent a lot of money on it!

      I found from the beginning the projector was packaged very securely. There was plenty of padding and protection. The instructions though in a small booklet were detailed and very helpful. I read the instructions and then plugged in my new projector. I first placed a USB video to check the visuals and found the picture to be very sharp. Also the video I made contained some good sound and the projector speaker provided good quality and clarity. I connected a wireless bluetooth speaker with no problems. The menu is very easy to work through. I have only used the remote to this point, but I am sure the manual buttons on the top of the projector will do the job. I look forward to exploring the other options available to connect devices such as my laptop and tablet.
      This projector is well worth the investment, as I researched many of the projectors before making a decision. I am very happy that I did.

      Great projector for movie nights!! I was looking for a small, easy to set up projector to use inside and I found this one. I thought it was fairly priced when I ordered it and after receiving it and using it I’m blown away with how easy it is to set up and connect my phone to it via WiFi and I connected a speaker via Bluetooth so less wires than other projectors. It has an attachment underneath to that you can attach a tripod or you could hang it from the ceiling, comes with a remote so it makes it easy to control also comes with an HDMI cable and RCA cable. I was quite surprised with the video quality. I don’t have an actual screen for it yet so even with it projected onto a sheet the video quality is impressive.
