Are you ready for some major changes in the Marvel Contest of Champions universe? The latest update has brought about some significant nerfs and buffs to some of your favorite champions.
Storm and Luna Snow have been hit with nerfs that have left many players shocked and scrambling to adjust their strategies. On the other hand, Black Widow and Adam Warlock have received buffs that have turned them into powerhouse contenders in the game.
Join us as we delve into the details of these changes and how they will impact your gameplay. Don’t miss out on this exciting update that is sure to shake up the competition in Marvel Contest of Champions!
In the latest update to Marvel Future Fight, players can expect to see some significant changes to four key characters: Storm, Luna Snow, Black Widow, and Adam Warlock.
First up, Storm will be receiving a nerf to her abilities. This powerful mutant has been dominating the battlefield with her lightning-fast attacks and devastating weather manipulation powers. The developers have decided to tone down her damage output and increase the cooldown on some of her most powerful abilities. While Storm will still be a force to be reckoned with, players will need to be more strategic in their use of her skills.
Next, Luna Snow will also be getting a nerf in this update. This K-pop sensation turned superhero has been a fan favorite for her flashy dance moves and ice-cold attacks. However, her damage output has been deemed too high, so the developers have decided to reduce the effectiveness of some of her abilities. Luna Snow players will need to adjust their playstyle to compensate for these changes.
On the flip side, Black Widow and Adam Warlock will be receiving buffs in this update. Black Widow has long been a popular character in Marvel Future Fight, but her damage output has fallen behind some of the newer heroes. The developers have decided to increase the damage of some of her abilities to bring her back into the spotlight.
Finally, Adam Warlock will also be getting a buff to his abilities. This cosmic hero has been underperforming compared to some of his peers, so the developers have decided to increase the effectiveness of some of his attacks. Players who have been waiting for Adam Warlock to shine will finally get their chance with this update.
Overall, these changes should shake up the meta in Marvel Future Fight and provide players with new challenges and opportunities to explore. Stay tuned for more updates on these character changes and get ready to test out the new and improved Storm, Luna Snow, Black Widow, and Adam Warlock in battle.

Get ready to frolic, “Severance” is revealing more about the goats.
Spoilers ahead for the third episode of “Severance” Season 2, “Who is Alive?”
“Severance” star Adam Scott told The Post that the third episode was tough to film, because the actors were really working with live goats.
“Britt [Lower] and I had a scene where we’re talking,” he said. “It’s like a serious scene between two people and no jokes… but every 10 or 15 seconds you had to shoo away a goat because they’re trying to eat your shoelaces or your pants.”
Scott added, “Gwendoline Christie was in that scene, too. That’s a scene where you had a difficulty keeping a straight face, because the baby goats wouldn’t stop trying to eat our clothing.”
Now in its second season, AppleTV’s mystery box sci-fi drama “Severance” (new episodes out on Fridays) follows four of the “severed” employees” at the mysterious company Lumon: Mark (Scott), Helly (Britt Lower), Irving (John Turturro) and Dylan (Zach Cherry), who all underwent a procedure to separate their memories of what they do at work as “innies” from their “outie” personas in the outside world.
They work in a bureaucratic nightmare office space — so one of the enduring mysteries of the show is why Mark and Helly stumbled on a man feeding baby goats in an office conference room in Season 1.
Scott also told the Post that he knows the answer to that plot question. “What’s up with the goats? And what is Lumon doing? Yeah, I think I know essentially the answers to those questions.”
The goat issue stuck out like a sore thumb in Season 1, since nobody expects to see farm animals in a sterile office environment. Viewers came up with theories about what it meant (“I’ve heard some of them,” Scott said, referring to fan theories on Reddit. “But I don’t jump in and really explore them myself”).
The goat mystery came back into the forefront this episode, when Mark and Helly finally find the goat department.
Within the office building, it’s a giant indoor space about the size of a football field, with grass, rolling hills, goats, and bizarre employees like “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie, who is hostile toward them, at first. One of her male colleagues is even dressed like a giant goat.

“Certainly walking into that room, it was amazing what they had put together there,” Scott recalled about filming the scene.
“We were shooting it and couldn’t believe we were in a room with goats and goat herders. Sarah Edwards, our costume designer, is incredible and really hit the bullseye with all of the people in ‘Mammalias Nurturable’ which is the department we visit.”
Adam Scott recently made an appearance on a late-night talk show and shared some behind-the-scenes anecdotes from filming the highly anticipated second season of the hit series “Severance.” One particular story had the audience in stitches as Scott recounted the challenges of working with goats on set.
According to Scott, there was a scene in Season 2 that required him to interact with a group of goats. However, things quickly took a hilarious turn when the goats proved to be quite stubborn and uncooperative. Scott joked that the goats were “more divas than most Hollywood actors” and that they constantly tried to upstage him during their scenes together.
Despite the challenges, Scott admitted that working with the goats was a memorable experience and that he had a newfound respect for the animals’ intelligence and craftiness. He even joked that the goats should receive their own spin-off series, titled “The G.O.A.T.”.
Fans of “Severance” are eagerly anticipating the release of Season 2, and with stories like these, it’s clear that the cast and crew had a lot of fun on set. Who knew that goats could be such scene-stealers?

The 24-year-old has two goals and four points in 18 games this season while averaging 12:51 of ice time. He has not played an NHL game since Jan. 6.
Drafted eighth overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2018, Boqvist was dealt to the Columbus Blue Jackets in July of 2021, where he would play five seasons before signing with the Panthers in the off-season on a one-year, $775,000 deal.
Isles continue to add on defence
With the Boqvist claim, this is New York’s third notable move to address their blueline in the past week.
On Jan. 24, the team signed Tony DeAngelo for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. The 29-year-old hasn’t played in the NHL this season, but had six goals with 26 assists in 34 games with the KHL’s St. Petersburg SKA.
DeAngelo appeared in 31 games with the Carolina Hurricanes last season, recording three goals and eight assists. He added two assists in nine playoff games.
On Monday, the Islanders acquired Scott Perunovich from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick.
The 26-year-old had two goals and six points in 24 games with the Blues this season while averaging 14:37 of ice time.
The 5-foot-10 left-shot defenceman signed a one-year, $1.15 million with the Blues in the off-season and is a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
The New York Islanders have added some defensive depth to their roster by claiming defenceman Adam Boqvist off waivers from the Florida Panthers. Boqvist, a former first round draft pick, brings skill and potential to the Islanders’ blue line.
With injuries plaguing the Islanders’ defensive corps, Boqvist’s arrival couldn’t have come at a better time. The 21-year-old Swede has shown flashes of brilliance in his young career and will have the opportunity to make an impact with his new team.
Boqvist will join a talented Islanders team that is looking to make a deep playoff run this season. His addition provides some much-needed depth and versatility on the back end, and could prove to be a key acquisition for the team as they push towards the postseason.
Islanders fans can look forward to seeing Boqvist in action as he suits up for his new team in the coming games. With his skill and potential, he could be a valuable asset for the Islanders as they continue their quest for a championship.

Jan. 31: The Islanders claimed Boqvist off waivers from the Panthers on Friday, per Friedman. He’s the third puck-moving blue-liner they’ve added in the past few weeks, joining UFA pickup Tony DeAngeloand trade acquisition Scott Perunovich. He’ll add some needed depth to the team’s blue line as they deal with the long-term absences of Noah Dobson, Ryan Pulock, and Mike Reilly. They’ll need to open up a roster spot as Boqvist’s acquisition puts them over the 23-player limit.
Jan. 30: The Panthers placed defenseman Adam Boqviston waivers Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. He will presumably be assigned to AHL Charlotte if he clears.
Boqvist, 24, has not played since Jan. 6 and was healthy scratched for an 11th straight game in Wednesday’s shutout win over the Kings. The 5’11” righty played in nine of Florida’s first 10 games of the season but has been a press box fixture since then, only suiting up 18 times among the Panthers’ 52-game slate thus far.
Once one of the league’s more highly-touted defense prospects, Boqvist was a low-risk pickup for the Panthers last summer on a one-year, league-minimum contract. He’d been bought out by the Blue Jackets with one season left on a three-year, $7.8MM deal, ending his tenure in Columbus prematurely after being brought in as the centerpiece of the return from the Blackhawks in the 2021 Seth Jonesblockbuster.
Selected eighth overall by Chicago in the 2018 draft, Boqvist looked well on his way to becoming a top-four fixture soon after the trade to Columbus. He wasn’t logging a ton of even strength minutes but had worked his way up to a consistent power play role and, when healthy, notched 46 points in 98 games over his first two seasons in Ohio. His lack of physicality had always been a sticking point, though, and, paired with underwhelming possession quality numbers, he entered the 2023-24 campaign further down on the depth chart than in years past.
Healthy scratches and shoulder issues were the norm for Boqvist last season. He was limited to 35 appearances for the Jackets, scoring once and adding nine assists for 10 points. He averaged 18:17 per game when in the lineup, similar to the usage he’d had in years prior. However, he was an even less engaged checker with only 11 hits and fell behind as Columbus added veterans Ivan Provorovand Damon Seversonto their ranks.
The Panthers were optimistic that Boqvist could regain a regular role in Florida, helping accommodate the departures of power-play fixtures, such as Oliver Ekman-Larssonand Brandon Montour,in free agency after winning the Stanley Cup. He also linked up with older brother Jesper Boqvist, who signed a matching league-minimum deal with the Cats. While Boqvist did get a long look on the power play, he was quickly overtaken on the top unit by Aaron Ekbladand averaged just 10:48 per game at even strength, the lowest among Florida defenders. His 3.4 GA/60 at even strength also ranked last among Panthers D-men, leading to his poor defensive impacts outweighing any offensive benefit.
Boqvist hits pause on his NHL career for now after recording six points (2 G, 4 A) in 18 appearances for the Panthers. If he suits up for Charlotte, it will mark his first AHL appearance since the 2019-20 campaign when he was still in the Blackhawks organization.

The New York Islanders have made a big move, claiming defenseman Adam Boqvist off waivers from the Florida Panthers. Boqvist, who was selected eighth overall in the 2018 NHL Draft, brings youth and skill to the Islanders’ blue line.
The 21-year-old defenseman has shown flashes of brilliance in his young career, tallying 30 points in 80 games with the Chicago Blackhawks before being traded to the Panthers in the offseason. Boqvist is known for his smooth skating, offensive instincts, and ability to move the puck effectively.
With the Islanders currently battling injuries on defense, Boqvist’s addition provides much-needed depth and talent to the team. It will be exciting to see how he fits into the Islanders’ system and contributes to their success moving forward.
Islanders fans, get ready to welcome Adam Boqvist to your team and watch him make an impact on the ice!

The Falun, Sweden native, played one season with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League and was named to the OHL Second All-Star Team in 2018-19 after recording 60 points (20 goals and 40 assists) over 54 games. His 40 assists led the Knights.
Before coming to North America, Boqvist played in 15 Swedish Hockey League (SHL) games with Brynas IF in 2017-18, notching one assist. He also produced 40 points (18-22-40) over 43 games with Brynas’ junior club from 2016-17 to 2017-18.
On the international stage, Boqvist earned a bronze medal with Sweden at the 2018 IIHF U18 World Championship. The 6’0, 191-pound defenseman led all tournament blueliners in goals (three) and points (seven) and was named Best Defenseman. He also earned a bronze medal at the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, leading all tournament skaters with seven assists (1 goal and 7 assists) over five games.
Boqvist was originally selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round (8th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.

Adam Levine is officially returning to The Voice, six years after he departed the show in 2019, and Billboard caught up with the season 27 judges ahead of the premiere.
“It used to get so ugly. You guys don’t even know. We used to scream over each other,” Levine playfully told his fellow coaches — John Legend, Michael Bublé and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini. “I have realized through this process, which has become therapy of some sort, that I was in such a chaotic environment. Me and Blake [Shelton] were slinging hate at each other. Everyone’s yelling and screaming. It was so different. I wouldn’t be able to stomach or handle that at this point. This is the perfect place, I’m in the right place. This is a safe space.
More from Billboard
“He brings up Blake at least once a day,” Ballerini joked, referencing the well-known “bromance” between Levine and Shelton, who were both OG coaches on The Voice when it premiered in 2011. Shelton ultimately left the show in 2023, narrowly missing his reunion with the Maroon 5 frontman.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the coaches rejoiced over the addition of Ballerini, who arrives as a first-time coach but previously served as season 16 battle advisor and filled in as coach during season 20, both instances for Team Kelly Clarkson.
The Voice season 27 premieres Monday, Feb. 3 on NBC. Watch Billboard‘s chat with the coaches above.
Adam Levine recently made his highly-anticipated return to “The Voice” after a two-season hiatus, and he wasted no time in addressing the dynamic between him and his longtime frenemy, Blake Shelton.
During the season premiere, Levine joked about the prior “chaotic environment” that existed between him and Shelton, poking fun at their infamous on-screen banter and rivalry.
“It’s good to be back, but I have to say, it’s nice to have a break from the chaotic environment that was constantly being around Blake,” Levine quipped, eliciting laughter from the audience.
The two coaches have a history of playful teasing and friendly competition on the show, with Shelton often making fun of Levine’s fashion choices and Levine firing back with witty comebacks.
Despite their antics, it’s clear that Levine and Shelton have a deep bond and mutual respect for each other, making their dynamic a fan-favorite aspect of the show.
As Levine settles back into his red chair, fans can expect more hilarious moments and entertaining interactions between the two coaches as they navigate another season of “The Voice.”

Still, that won’t prevent the Maroon 5 frontman from making some jokes at Shelton’s expense.
“The best part about being back with The Voice Family is that I don’t have to deal with Blake Shelton,” Levine, 45, quips while chatting with PEOPLE in this week’s issue about his return to the NBC hit series. “I just don’t like him. So, it’s been great not having to be around him. He’s a bad friend…”
“I’m just kidding,” he clarifies. “Of course, I love Blake. And I had to open with a Blake joke because he’s not on the show anymore, yet they still continue.”
Levine and Shelton, 48, were among the four original coaches when The Voice premiered in 2011. The Maroon 5 frontman remained on the show until 2019 when he left after 16 seasons, and Shelton followed a few years later in May 2023 after 23 seasons. During their tenure on the show together, the two became close friends while also poking fun at one another with playful insults and jokes.

Now, Levine is back for season 27 — and he tells PEOPLE he’s been welcomed into the fold again with open arms.
“It’s really great to be back, because I had plenty of time to not be on the show, and to do my thing, and to not have that define me, for lack of a better way of saying it,” he explains. “It was nice to go and just be with my family, and go tour, and do music, and do what I was originally in my mind intended to do: make music and play music.”
“But it’s so nice because now here I am, and it’s totally enjoyable because I’ve had that time,” he continues. “It was such a whirlwind when it started, that all of a sudden it was eight years in and it was just nice to be able to take a break. So, coming back has been fantastic. The family has embraced me with loving arms… A lot of the same people that are working on the set that I’ve missed, and seeing their faces, and doing the work. And it’s been really fun.”

For the upcoming season, Levine will be joined by fellow coaches Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé and John Legend. But, he says, none of them can replace Shelton and the frenemy banter they displayed each week.
“No. No, no, definitely not. There’s no replacing [Shelton],” he says. “The thing that happened with Blake and I, it was so organic, and it was based on our friendship.”

“Because nobody really realizes that we were thrown into this thing that wasn’t a thing yet. Our friendship was based on this not knowing what the hell was happening, and being silly, and stupid with each other,” he explains.
“And that became something that people love to watch. It was very organic, and very unplanned and spontaneous. And all of a sudden we realized people loved watching us talk s— to each other. So, we thought to ourselves, ‘Let’s just do it. And hey, is there such thing as too far?’ And he’s like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, probably not. Let’s just go at it.’ And we just had fun with it.”
As for what he’s bringing into season 27, Levine says he has a renewed idea of his purpose on the show.
“I don’t really see it as a competition anymore, and I know they’re not going to like that, but that’s not what it is. It’s an opportunity for us to share our experiences with the people on the show. And it always has been that,” he shares. “I mean, you definitely get competitive that those juices flow for sure. But I don’t see it as a competition and I don’t think that I can bring anything other than what I have just from life and a career. And I think that’s really valuable for the people on the show that are needing that experience, or that push that help. And that’s what I think we’re there for.”
“I’ve never liked to think of it in terms of a competition, because it’s kind of a ridiculous concept,” he adds. “It’s music, and we’re all supposed to help each other out, and get each other’s backs, and make each other better. So, that’s kind of what it’s really about. The competition, you get lit up by that part of it, especially in the beginning. The blind auditions are very competitive because you really want these really talented singers on the team, and then after that it becomes about something more.”
Season 27 of The Voice premieres Monday, Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
