Kanye West’s Latest Move Adds a Disturbing Twist to the Taylor Swift Drama
It’s wild to think that the infamous “Imma let you finish” moment from the 2009 VMAs still fuels drama in 2025, yet here we are. Somehow, Taylor Swift has once again become the target of Kanye West’s bizarre attention — this time with a cryptic move on social media just ahead of the 2025 Grammys.
On Sunday, just before guests started walking the 67th Grammy Awards red carpet, West — who now goes by Ye — dropped a digital bombshell on Instagram. He unfollowed everyone on the platform, leaving only one account. That account? Taylor Swift. Not even his wife, Bianca Censori, remained in his exclusive “following” list.
More from SheKnows
For someone like Ye, who seems to thrive on provocation, this move screams calculated. To drive his point further, he followed up with an Instagram Story mentioning his Grammy-nominated track “Carnival.” Alongside a gleaming trophy image, he inexplicably tagged Swift, his collaborators Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti, and Rich the Kid, as well as the Recording Academy.
Naturally, the internet — especially Swift’s fandom — spiraled into speculation. “His ongoing obsession with her is so gross. Move on dude, it’s been over 15 years since this s*** started,”** one Swiftie said on social media.
This act isn’t just bizarre—it’s the latest in a saga that began at the 2009 VMAs when Ye interrupted Taylor’s speech to hail Beyoncé’s video as “one of the best of all time.” Things only escalated from there. Fast-forward to 2016, and Ye dropped “Famous” with the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**** famous.” He claimed Swift approved it; she adamantly denied it. Then came Kim Kardashian’s leaked recordings, Swift’s accusations of deceptive edits, and a host of what seems to be never-ending drama, courtesy of Ye.
Those years took an emotional toll on Swift, who has opened up on multiple occasions about how the feud pushed her to a dark place. Lately, both artists have largely existed in their own orbits. Until now. Ye’s new move throws Swift — the one person who’s repeatedly made it clear she wants distance — right back into the awkward limelight of his choosing.
Some fans pointed out how Ye’s actions keep dragging Swift into a narrative she has tried to move beyond. “That is why Swifties should stop acting like Taylor should move on from the Kimye drama,” one fan commented. “She can sing about this drama as long as she wants. He always drops her name in his stupid albums and creates drama like this every few months.”
Both Swift and Ye are Grammy nominees this year, and fans are already crafting scenarios about the intention behind his gesture. Could this be an attempt at reconciliation? A calculated publicity ploy? Or, in a more troubling twist, just another way to stir chaos in an already fraught history? Whatever the reason, Ye’s actions feel like a fresh disruption to a story Swift seemed ready to leave behind. And for now, the Swifties are standing firmly by her side, questioning why Ye can’t seem to do the same.

Kanye West’s Latest Move Adds a Disturbing Twist to the Taylor Swift DramaThe never-ending feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift has taken a disturbing turn with West’s latest move. In a shocking revelation, West has released a new song in which he once again references Swift in a derogatory manner.
This latest development comes after years of back and forth between the two musicians, with West famously interrupting Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and later releasing a song in which he claimed he made her famous.
The ongoing feud has divided fans and sparked heated debates about the treatment of women in the music industry. Many believe that West’s continuous attacks on Swift are misogynistic and harmful, while others defend his right to express himself through his music.
Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it’s clear that this feud shows no signs of ending anytime soon. With West’s latest move, it seems that the drama between him and Swift is far from over. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing saga.

Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables will handle defensive playcalling responsibilities for the Sooners in 2025, he announced in a statement Saturday, assuming full control of the program’s defense for the first time since took over in late 2021.
Oklahoma has spent more than a month searching for its next defensive coordinator since former playcaller Zac Alley left for the same role at West Virginia on Dec. 29 after one season with the Sooners.
Venables’ announcement came as Oklahoma introduced a pair of defensive assistants Saturday — former Arkansas State defensive coordinator Nate Dreiling and former Clemson defensive playcaller Wes Goodwin.
“I have reflected on all facets of our program over the past several weeks,” Venables, entering his fourth season at Oklahoma, said in a statement. “Since I was hired as head coach, we have carefully assembled the defensive personnel and scheme that is suited to compete at the highest level, and we’ve built a deep and talented roster ready for the moment. I have high expectations for our program and will do everything in my power to achieve our goals for our players. To that end, I will take over defensive playcalling responsibilities for the 2025 season.”
Drieling, who will coach inside linebackers, was hired at Arkansas State last month after spending one season at Utah State, where he served as defensive coordinator and interim head coach last fall, leading the Aggies to a 4-8 finish after replacing Blake Anderson. Goodwin replaced Venables as Clemson’s defensive coordinator in 2022 and spent three seasons leading the Tigers defense before his firing following the 2025 campaign.
The pair of defensive minds follow first-year offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle as the latest additions to Venables’ staff this offseason.
“Adding Nate and Wes to our team, with their extensive and diverse experience, simply adds to my expectations and excitement for our defensive unit,” Venables said. “I’m energized by the prospect of getting back into playcalling and for the continued momentum I see us gaining with the strategic moves we’re making on both sides of the ball.”
A three-time national champion coordinator, Venables’ decision to return to playcalling marks the latest evolution in his approach since taking over the Sooners. Former Oklahoma defensive coordinator Ted Roof served as the program’s playcaller for the 2022 and 2023 seasons before Venables turned to Alley, 31, in 2024.
Oklahoma finished 19th nationally and fifth across the SEC in total defense (318.2 yards per game) this past season.
Oklahoma football fans, get ready for some exciting news! Former defensive coordinator Brent Venables is set to return to the Sooners program and will be calling plays on defense. In addition, Venables has added two new assistant coaches to his staff to help bolster the defense and continue Oklahoma’s tradition of dominance on that side of the ball. With Venables at the helm, Oklahoma’s defense is sure to be in good hands. Known for his aggressive play-calling and ability to develop young talent, Venables has a proven track record of success in building strong defenses. His return to Oklahoma is sure to bring a renewed sense of energy and excitement to the program.
The addition of two new assistant coaches will also provide a boost to the defense. With fresh perspectives and new ideas, these coaches will help Venables implement his game plan and develop the players to reach their full potential.
Sooner Nation, get ready for an exciting season ahead as Oklahoma’s defense looks to make a statement under the leadership of Brent Venables and his new coaching staff. Let’s cheer on our Sooners as they strive for greatness on the gridiron! Boomer Sooner! #OUDNA #BoomerSooner

MNPD adds another shift to police in Nashville during high-call hours
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Metro Nashville Police Department officials said Friday they will add an additional work shift for officers so they could have more visibility during the highest-need hours in the city.
Chief John Drake has called it the D shift, which consists of operating from noon until 10:30 p.m. each day. Drake said this new shift will start Feb. 1. It will have 41 officers, five sergeants and one lieutenant.
“D-shift officers will have the flexibility to provide additional resources to any of our eight precincts across the county, particularly those that have a higher volume of pending calls,” Drake said.
Besides supporting precincts with a high call volume, Drake said D shift officers will also assist in securing large crime scenes, respond to demonstrations/protests and support other precision policing efforts.
Considering regular days off, vacations, sick leave, in-service training, etc., the D-shift will operate with a minimum staffing of 18 officers plus supervisors.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) announced that they will be adding another shift to their patrol officers during high-call hours in the city. This decision comes as a response to the increasing demand for police services during peak times. With the additional shift, the MNPD aims to improve response times to emergency calls and enhance public safety in Nashville. The new shift will primarily focus on addressing calls related to theft, assault, and other crimes that tend to spike during certain hours of the day.
The MNPD is committed to providing efficient and effective law enforcement services to the residents of Nashville, and the decision to add another shift demonstrates their dedication to meeting the needs of the community. The department encourages residents to continue to report any suspicious activity or emergencies by calling 911.
By implementing this additional shift, the MNPD hopes to better serve the residents of Nashville and ensure that the city remains a safe and secure place for all.

Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ Adds John Leguizamo
John Leguizamo is the latest star to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey.” He will appear alongside previously announced cast members Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie and Jon Bernthal.
Universal shared last month that the film “is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology. The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time.”
Homer’s ancient Greek epic poem “The Odyssey” remains one of the oldest pieces of literature still read by modern audiences. It chronicles the story of Greek hero Odysseus during his tumultuous journey home following the Trojan War.
“The Odyssey” is due in theaters on July 17, 2026. Nolan is set to write and will produce with Emma Thomas under their Syncopy banner.
As Variety exclusively reported this week, the film will be partly filmed in Sicily, which is notable for being a location for Odysseus’ wanderings in the epic. Shooting there is expected to begin in spring 2025 on the island of Favignana, considered the “goat island,” which many believe to be the place where Homer visualized Odysseus landing with his crew.
Comedian and actor Leguizamo’s career spans four decades, including memorable turns in films like “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar” (which earned him a Golden Globe nomination), “Romeo + Juliet,” “Summer of Sam,” “Moulin Rouge,” “The Pest,” the “Ice Age” franchise, and “The Menu,” among many others. His TV credits include “When They See Us,” “The Power,” “Waco,” “Bloodline,” and the MSNBC travel series “Leguizamo Does America.” He received Emmy nods for both “When They See Us” and “Waco.” He has also performed multiple one man shows on Broadway, including “Freak,” “Sexaholix,” and “Latin History for Morons,” earning himself multiple Tony Award nominations.
Universal had no comment. The InSneider was first to report the news of Leguizamo’s casting.

Axis Aviation San Marino adds Challenger 605, drops Learjet
Axis Aviation San Marino has added a first Challenger 605 while retiring the sole Learjet it operated, a Learjet 31A, ch-aviation research shows.
The newly added Bombardier Business Aircraft, T7-POL (msn 5748), was first active under Axis Aviation San Marino’s ‘AXS’ code on January 25, 2025, flying between Nuremberg and Memmingen. The 17.1-year-old jet was previously operated by Volare Aviation (Guernsey) as 2-GGGG, flying for the last time under that company’s ‘VLZ’ code on January 5, between London Luton and Nuremberg.
Volare Aviation’s website now lists a fleet of two Challenger 604s, a Challenger 650, a Falcon 8X, a Hawker 800XPi, and two AW109s available for charter, along with an exclusively managed Global 5000.
Meanwhile, Axis Aviation San Marino has retired Learjet 31A T7-TFC (msn 31A-170), the group’s only Learjet. The 25.8-year-old aircraft was last active under the ‘AXS’ code on November 27, 2024, flying from Cologne/Bonn to Zurich, where it remains parked. Following these adjustments, Axis Aviation San Marino’s fleet currently includes the newly added Challenger 605, a Falcon 2000LXS, a Falcon 7X, a recently inducted G700, a Global 5000, and a Hawker 800XPi.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Cheryl Hines showed up to support her husband RFK Jr. during his confirmation hearing on Wednesday — but as the man was continually called out for lying about past statements, it started feeling a bit like an actual “Curb” episode to Jimmy Kimmel. So, he went ahead and added the theme song.
The ABC host immediately zeroed in on the hearing during his Wednesday monologue, calling out RFK Jr. for having “conveniently evolved” on issues like vaccines and abortions “since pledging allegiance to the cantaloupe-in-chief.” He also made fun of how the Health and Human Services pick tried to backpedal on his previous statements condemning those very things.
“Most of his defense today was some version of ‘I didn’t say the Moderna vaccine turned kids gay, I said it turned some of them bisexual!’” Kimmel joked.
But the host’s attention was even more drawn to Hines, who “sat quietly behind her husband as he attempted to rewrite the story of his life.” At that, Kimmel started playing clips from the hearing, in which Hines was indeed very visible behind Kennedy.
After the third clip of the man being confronted by his own past quotes that he tried to deny, the camera zoomed in on Hines and the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” song kicked in. As it played, Hines could be seen blinking rapidly and biting the inside of her cheek.
“And then there was Cheryl’s TV husband from ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ Bernie Sanders,” Kimmel joked. “Who, not only did he have a line of questioning, he brought visual aids.”
For those unfamiliar, no, Sanders wasn’t actually on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” But Larry David, who created and starred in the series — and was indeed Hines’ TV husband — has definitely played Sanders on “SNL.”
You can watch Jimmy Kimmel’s full monologue in the video, above.

Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel recently added a hilarious twist to footage of actress Cheryl Hines at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s confirmation hearing. The video, which shows Hines looking less than thrilled as she sits in the audience, was paired with the iconic theme song from the hit TV show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”The juxtaposition of Hines’ deadpan expression and the upbeat music from the show created a comical moment that had viewers laughing out loud. Kimmel’s clever editing skills turned a mundane political event into a comedy goldmine, showcasing his talent for finding humor in unexpected places.
Fans of both “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and Jimmy Kimmel were delighted by the video, with many taking to social media to praise the host for his creativity. The clip quickly went viral, with thousands of views and shares across various platforms.
It just goes to show that sometimes all it takes is a catchy theme song to turn a serious moment into something truly entertaining. Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel, Cheryl Hines’ expression at RFK Jr.’s confirmation hearing will forever be associated with Larry David’s misadventures in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

When it comes to her mom-to-be wardrobe, Jennifer Lawrence is embracing her inner dad.
Today, the actor and her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney, ventured to The Row store on the Upper East Side. Lawrence—dressing for both the freezing temperatures and the twilight of her pregnancy—kept it comfortable in lots of layers. Over a white T-shirt, she wore a blue gingham button-up, which she paired with white under-the-bump sweatpants. She bundled up in a black wool coat and added a white scarf with a dainty multicolored pattern.
But it was Lawrence’s shoe choice that demanded the most attention. With a pair of mustard yellow socks, she wore chunky New Balance 1906R x Aime Leon Dore sneakers in mint green and black. While she’s the quintessential Upper West Side mom, in her chunky ALD New Balances, Lawrence was dressing the part of a Lower East Side dad.
Jennifer Lawrence isn’t the only celebrity mom to add dad sneakers to their maternity wardrobe lately. Margot Robbie, who welcomed her first child with husband Tom Ackerley in October, also included the statement sneaks in her repertoire. In June, the actor accessorized an oversized beige suit with a pair of equally large New Balances. Perhaps these two know that the key to maternity style was in dad’s closet all along.
Shop an edit of chunky sneakers, below.
Jennifer Lawrence is known for her impeccable style both on and off the red carpet. The Oscar-winning actress has been spotted out and about in Los Angeles rocking the latest trend: dad shoes.Adding a casual and comfortable touch to her maternity wardrobe, Lawrence has been seen sporting chunky sneakers in various colors and styles. The dad shoe trend, also known as “ugly sneakers,” has been gaining popularity among celebrities and fashionistas alike.
With her due date approaching, Lawrence seems to be prioritizing comfort without compromising style. Whether she’s running errands or attending appointments, the actress is making a fashion statement with her choice of footwear.
It’s refreshing to see a Hollywood A-lister like Lawrence embrace a trend that is all about comfort and practicality. Who says you can’t be stylish and comfortable at the same time? Lawrence is proving that you can have it all, even when you’re expecting.
So, if you’re looking for maternity style inspiration, take a cue from Jennifer Lawrence and consider adding dad shoes to your wardrobe. Comfortable, stylish, and oh-so-trendy, these shoes are a must-have for any mom-to-be.

Is Scott Foley ghosting us?
More than two decades after playing the role of Roman Bridger in 2000’s Scream 3, Foley now returns to the franchise for Scream 7, Entertainment Weekly has learned. Plot details are being kept strictly under wraps, so it’s unclear if he’s playing the exact same character. His presence, however, is a springboard for theories.
Foley’s Roman first appeared in Scream 3 as the director of the movie within the movie, Stab 3: Return to Woodsboro, the latest installment of the Hollywood adaptations of the Woodsboro murders. Roman later revealed himself to be the half-brother of Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) through their mother, Maureen Prescott (Lynn McRee). He also served as the Ghostface killer of Scream 3 and was shot to death by Dewey (David Arquette). Even though Roman miraculously thwarted death multiple times, the last blow was a bullet to the head. Don’t see him walking away from that one.
If Foley is indeed returning as Roman, though, there is a precedent. In the fifth Scream movie, Skeet Ulrich‘s Billy Loomis returned in ghost form to haunt his daughter, Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera). Ghost Billy came back again in Scream VI. We at least know Scream 7 will focus on Sidney in a major way and address her family, including her daughter (Isabel May) and husband (Joel McHale).

Perhaps Foley could be playing Roman’s secret twin and another half-brother Sidney never knew about, or someone else entirely. We need an exhaustive Gale Weathers investigative TV special to get to the bottom of this.

Foley joins Campbell, May, and McHale, as well as fellow franchise veterans Courteney Cox as Gale, and Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown as Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin. Announced in undisclosed roles, however, are Mckenna Grace, Grace’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife costar Celeste O’Connor, Gen V‘s Asa Germann, The Fabelmans‘ Sam Rechner, Pitch Perfect‘s Anna Camp, and the most recently revealed Mark Consuelos.
Directed by Kevin Williamson and written by Guy Busick, Scream 7 is on the calendar for release on Feb. 27, 2026.
Deadline was the first to report Foley’s casting.
After much anticipation, it has been announced that Scott Foley will be joining the cast of ‘Scream 7’! Fans of the franchise will remember Foley from his role as Roman Bridger in ‘Scream 3,’ where he played the mastermind behind the Ghostface killings. Many are speculating whether Foley will be reprising his role as Roman in the upcoming installment, or if he will be taking on a new character entirely. While details about his character have been kept under wraps, the addition of Foley to the cast has definitely sparked excitement among fans.
As we eagerly await more news about ‘Scream 7,’ one thing is for certain – with Scott Foley on board, this next chapter in the iconic horror series is sure to be filled with twists, turns, and plenty of screams. Stay tuned for more updates as they come!

While it was thought that Lincoln Riley’s USC coaching staff was set for 2025, the Trojans announced the hiring of Trovon Reed as cornerbacks coach on Tuesday.
With the NCAA eliminating the previous limit of 11 on-field coaches (head coach plus 10 assistants) last summer, staff sizes are fluid.
The hiring of Reed does not change anything for USC defensive backs coach Doug Belk, who oversees and coaches the entire secondary. They will work together in developing the cornerbacks.
Reed spent last season as the cornerbacks coach at UCF after previously serving as the director of player relations at Auburn for several years.
“Trovon Reed is another fantastic addition to our staff,” Riley said in a statement. “A rising star in our business, Reed is a talented coach with NFL playing experience. He’s an exceptional recruiter who will surely contribute to our climb as a program. We’re excited to welcome him to USC.”
While playing for Reed last season at UCF, redshirt senior Mac McWilliams, a Senior Bowl invitee, finished with 32 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss (including a sack), 2 pass breakups, 1 interception and 1 forced fumble and, per PFF, was the fourth-highest graded cornerback in the Big 12. Senior Brandon Adams, another Senior Bowl invitee, tallied 14 tackles, including 1 TFL and tied for a team-leading 2 INTs with 2 PBUs.
While at Auburn, Reed was heavily involved in recruiting and helped Auburn sign the No. 8 recruiting class in the nation in 2024. The Tigers also recorded top-25 recruiting classes in 2022 and 2023.
Reed was a four-star top-50 national recruit in the Class of 2010 out of Thibodaux HS in Louisiana and was a member of Auburn’s 2010 national championship team. He helped the Tigers win two SEC Championships (2010 and 2013) and earn another appearance in the national title game (2014). He spent most of his career at wide receiver before moving to cornerback for his final season in 2014.
As an undrafted free agent, Reed played for several NFL teams from 2015-18 including the Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers and San Francisco 49ers.
USC continues to bolster its coaching staff with the addition of Trovon Reed as the new cornerbacks coach. Reed brings a wealth of experience to the position, having played cornerback at Auburn University and briefly in the NFL.His expertise in the defensive backfield is sure to benefit the Trojans as they look to improve their secondary play. Reed’s knowledge of the game and his ability to develop young talent make him an invaluable asset to the coaching staff.
USC fans can look forward to seeing Reed’s impact on the team as they strive for success in the upcoming season. Welcome to the Trojan family, Coach Reed! #FightOn
