Morgan Wallen announces new ‘I’m The Problem’ album and 2025 tour. What to know
Morgan Wallen’s three-year evolution from consistent country chart-topper to top-tier Billboard all-genre superstar will continue with a newly announced album and tour for 2025.
Leaning into his police blotter appearances and notoriety of late, the 18-time Billboard Music Award winner and 2024 Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year has entitled his forthcoming project “I’m The Problem.” The project’s release date is forthcoming.
The top performer is also set for a 19-date summer 2025 tour from June to September.
A rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel join in direct support with Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson as openers across select dates.
Wallen noted via a press statement that “working on new music” inspired a return to the road so swiftly after an 87-date and two-year-long “One Night at A Time” world tour.
How to purchase tickets for Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m The Problem’ tour
Fans can sign up for the Artist Presale at signup.ticketmaster.com/morganwallen until Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. PST. The presale will begin Jan. 30. Presale start times vary by market. The general on-sale will begin Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. local time at MorganWallen.com.
Wallen’s North American tour starts June 20 at Houston’s NRG Stadium and includes stops in Seattle, Foxborough, Massachusetts and Toronto, Ontario.
A portion of every ticket sold benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), which supports youth programs focusing on sports and music. During the “One Night At A Time” tour, MWF partnered with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to donate $500,000 worth of musical instruments to schools in need across 14 U.S. 2024 stadium touring cities. For more information, please visit morganwallenfoundation.org.
Morgan Wallen performs during his One Night at a Time Tour concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Thursday, May 2, 2024.
As a tour prelude, Wallen will also appear at his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama, from May 16-18, 2025.
The festival, which sold out in less than two hours of on-sale, will feature headlining sets by Wallen, Post Malone, Brooks & Dunn and HARDY across three days and three nights. Additional guests will include Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, T-Pain, Diplo, Wiz Khalifa, The War on Drugs, 2 Chainz, Chase Rice, Three 6 Mafia, 3 Doors Down, Ella Langley, ERNEST, Morgan Wade, Moneybagg Yo and more.

‘I’m The Problem’
The album’s title track arrives on Jan. 31. It features a crew of frequent Wallen collaborators as songwriters and producers: ERNEST, Ryan Vojtesak, Grady Block and Jamie McLaughlin join the “Last Night” vocalist as writers, while Big Loud affiliated producers Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome are behind the boards.
“I’m The Problem” follows the all-genre Billboard top-five lovestruck, rock-styled ballad “Smile,” his 16th No. 1 country radio hit “Lies Lies Lies” and “Love Somebody,” the first Wallen solo release to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Love Somebody” also debuted on 11 charts globally upon release, leading the artist to become the first to achieve three singles simultaneously sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
Wallen’s preceding albums “Dangerous: The Double Album” and “One Thing At A Time” recently landed No. 1 and 6 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums of the 21st Century, respectively. The latter set a record for country albums by sitting atop the Billboard 200 Albums chart for 19 non-consecutive weeks, yielding seven No. 1 country radio singles.
The performer’s chart-topping success has keyed People’s Choice Country and Pollstar award-winning touring acclaim that spanned three months of dates playing for over three million fans worldwide in venues including four dozen stadiums and over in 2023 and 2024. Dates at Knoxville’s Neyland Stadium and Columbus’ Ohio Stadium found Wallen to have the largest weekend attendance ever at both venues.

New York, New York – Wednesday, January 22, 2025 – GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced the nominees of the 36th GLAAD Media Awards. In a time of unprecedented challenges for LGBTQ people, LGBTQ stories are the antidote to anti-LGBTQ violence, legislation and disinformation.
GLAAD’s mission to accelerate acceptance and understanding for LGBTQ people through visibility in media stands stronger than ever, with the 36th GLAAD Media Awards spotlighting 303 culture-changing nominees across 33 categories, honoring outstanding fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues in film, television, gaming, publishing, stage productions, music, podcasting, journalism, and more.
Since 1990, the GLAAD Media Awards have grown to be the most visible annual LGBTQ awards show in the world, sending powerful messages of acceptance to audiences globally. Nominees for the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards reflect work published, released, or broadcast between January 1 and December 31, 2024.
GLAAD routinely reviews the accuracy and impact of GLAAD Media Awards categories to best reflect the ever-evolving media landscape, including the ways in which media is consumed by audiences and consumers alike. As such, and in recognition of the profusion of news sources in the overall media landscape, this year, GLAAD celebrates the category of Outstanding Blog being updated to Outstanding Independent Journalism. This expanded category will recognize creators and independent news organizations that drive journalism and commentary for and about LGBTQ people and issues.

Statement by GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis:
“The GLAAD Media Awards were created nearly four decades ago to champion LGBTQ stories amid a deeply hostile and unsafe time for our community. Today, this mission holds true and ever-more important as attacks against LGBTQ people are not only growing, but finding new avenues. Whether it’s rampant misinformation or defamation of transgender people, LGBTQ youth, or the shocking corporate rollback of policies and programs that keep LGBTQ people seen and safe in a workforce, what will always prevail is our truth and talent. This year’s nominees for the 36th GLAAD Media Awards represent the best of our vibrant community, spanning across all media, genres and mediums, and send a loud and global message to industry leaders that our stories are not only popular and entertaining, but necessary and culture-changing.”ADDITIONAL DETAILS ABOUT THE 36th GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS

Lady Vol head coach Kim Caldwell announces birth of first child
Tennessee Lady Vol coach Kim Caldwell is not with the team in Texas and will not coach tonight following the birth of her first child. Tennessee announced on Thursday Coach Caldwell and her husband Justin have welcomed the arrival of their son Conor Scott Caldwell.
Caldwell has been mum on the plan to manage her team in her absence.
When asked last week about how things would work, Caldwell said there was one and left it at that.
“(I’m) due any day now and we have a plan, but I’m not going to share it,” Caldwell said.
Caldwell coached Sunday in Nashville her Lady Vol team fell to Vanderbilt 71-70 as the Commodores made the game winning shot on an offensive rebound.
Caldwell, who sources said had some hopes of not missing a game is likely to return to the bench on Monday night when the Lady Vols host South Carolina, but has made it clear the entire pregnancy that it was out of her hands.
“I think that I’ve probably looked at our schedule a thousand times and tried to plan it out, but God’s got it and you take it day by day,” Caldwell said on the Sports Animal back in September after announcing her pregnancy on X on September 3. “And you put your faith that God will take care of it and he gave you this blessing for a reason, and that’s what we’re going to do. We have a great staff, a great support system, a great team, so it’s going to be — it’s going to be just fine.”
In Caldwell’s absence Thursday night, assistant Jenna Burdette is taking the lead coaching chair but said in her media session on Tuesday that it would be a collaborative effort.
“Our staff, we work very well together. We are all coaching on the floor especially in practice we all have our certain areas of expertise that we really look into. We are all kind of different in a way that we all kind of focus on different things. It will be a collective effort,” Burdette explained.
Burdette, who was with Caldwell at Glenville State and Marshall, recorded Caldwell’s TV show in her place late last week and did Caldwell’s post game radio show Sunday in Nashville. Caldwell has made it clear that she plans to return to the bench as early as possible but has stated from the beginning of the pregnancy that the timetable for her return is out of her hands.
Following the South Carolina game, the Lady Vols are off till Sunday, Feb. 2nd when they play at Missouri.
The Lady Vols are 15-3 on the season and are 3-3 in SEC play after Sunday’s loss at Vanderbilt.
Lady Vol head coach Kim Caldwell is thrilled to announce the birth of her first child, a beautiful baby girl named Lily. Caldwell and her husband, Jake, welcomed their bundle of joy into the world earlier this week and are overjoyed with the newest addition to their family.Caldwell, who has been coaching the Lady Vols for the past five years, took to social media to share the exciting news with fans and supporters. She expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love and well wishes from the Tennessee community and assured everyone that she and Lily are both healthy and happy.
As she embarks on this new chapter of motherhood, Caldwell is grateful for the support of her coaching staff, players, and colleagues at the University of Tennessee. She is looking forward to balancing her responsibilities as a head coach with the joys of raising her daughter and is excited for the journey ahead.
Join us in congratulating Coach Caldwell and her family on this special occasion. Welcome to the world, Lily! #LadyVols #NewMom #BabyGirl

Intuitive Announces Fourth Quarter Earnings
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 23, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Intuitive (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ISRG), a global technology leader in minimally invasive care and the pioneer of robotic-assisted surgery, today announced financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024.
Gross profit, income from operations, net income attributable to Intuitive Surgical, Inc., and net income per diluted share attributable to Intuitive Surgical, Inc. are reported on a GAAP and non-GAAP* basis. The non-GAAP* measures are described below and are reconciled to the corresponding GAAP measures at the end of this release.
Fourth quarter 2024 revenue was $2.41 billion, an increase of 25% compared with $1.93 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023. The higher fourth quarter revenue was driven by growth in da Vinci procedure volume and an increase in the installed base of systems.
Fourth quarter 2024 instruments and accessories revenue increased by 23% to $1.41 billion, compared with $1.14 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023. The increase in instruments and accessories revenue was primarily driven by approximately 18% growth in da Vinci procedure volume, approximately 70% growth in Ion procedure volume, and customer buying patterns.
Fourth quarter 2024 systems revenue was $655 million, compared with $480 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. The higher systems revenue, in part, reflected a lower mix of leased systems relative to previous periods as well as higher da Vinci system average selling prices compared with the fourth quarter of 2023. The Company placed 493 da Vinci surgical systems, of which 174 were da Vinci 5 systems, in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared with 415 systems in the fourth quarter of 2023. The fourth quarter 2024 da Vinci surgical system placements included 222 systems placed under operating lease arrangements, of which 140 systems were placed under usage-based operating lease arrangements, compared with 201 systems placed under operating lease arrangements, of which 109 systems were placed under usage-based operating lease arrangements in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Intuitive Announces Fourth Quarter EarningsIntuitive Surgical, a global leader in robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery, has announced its fourth quarter earnings for the fiscal year. The company reported strong financial results, with revenue exceeding expectations and continued growth in key markets.
According to the earnings report, Intuitive’s revenue for the fourth quarter was $1.27 billion, a 14% increase compared to the same period last year. The company also reported a net income of $411 million, or $3.43 per share, surpassing analyst estimates.
Intuitive attributes its strong performance to increased adoption of its da Vinci surgical systems, which enable surgeons to perform complex procedures with precision and control. The company continues to expand its product offerings and invest in research and development to drive innovation in the field of robotic surgery.
“We are pleased with our fourth quarter results, which reflect the growing demand for our robotic-assisted surgical systems,” said Gary Guthart, CEO of Intuitive Surgical. “We remain committed to advancing patient care and improving surgical outcomes through our innovative technology.”
Investors and analysts have reacted positively to Intuitive’s earnings report, with many expressing confidence in the company’s long-term growth prospects. The company’s stock price has surged following the announcement, reaching new highs.

ATLANTA, Jan. 21, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Dogwood Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWTX) (the “Company”), a development-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on advancing first-in class, non-opioid, Nav 1.7 inhibitor treatments for chronic and acute pain, announced today that dosing of the first patient in its Phase 2b clinical trial, referred to as HALT-CINP (Halneuron® Treatment of Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathic Pain), evaluating Halneuron® to treat neuropathic pain associated with prior chemotherapy treatment (“CINP”) is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2025.
Halneuron® is a first-in-class, Nav 1.7 specific voltage gated sodium channel inhibitor being developed as an alternative to pain treatment with opioids. Halneuron® treated patients demonstrated a statistically significant reduction in cancer-related pain in a previous Phase 2 clinical trial with an acceptable safety profile. Halneuron® has been evaluated in over 700 patients in a series of Phase 1 and Phase 2 studies, with no addiction potential.
“Chemotherapy is effective, but can be very challenging for patients given common side effects, including fever, fatigue, infection, hair loss, neuropathy and pain,” commented R. Michael Gendreau, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Medical Officer of Dogwood Therapeutics, Inc. “Research suggests that one-in-three patients treated with certain chemotherapeutics including taxanes and platinum drugs develop chronic painful neuropathy. There are currently no approved treatments for chronic neuropathy, and off label treatment with available analgesics is generally not effective. Further, market data suggest that approximately one-in-three cancer patients are treated with opioids.”
“The lead Halneuron® target indication in CINP represents an area of high unmet medical need and a market valued at approximately $1.5B,” said Greg Duncan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dogwood Therapeutics, Inc. “The Dogwood executive team has established a track record of developing and/or commercializing blockbuster medicines, including the pain therapeutics Celebrex, Lyrica and Savella.”
About Dogwood Therapeutics
Dogwood Therapeutics (Nasdaq: DWTX) is a development-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing new medicines to treat pain and fatigue-related disorders. The Dogwood research pipeline includes two separate mechanistic platforms with a non-opioid analgesic program and an antiviral program. The proprietary non-opioid, Nav 1.7 analgesic program is centered on our lead development candidate, Halneuron® which is a highly specific voltage-gated sodium channel modulator, a mechanism known to be effective for reducing pain transmission. In clinical studies, Halneuron® treatment has demonstrated pain reduction in pain related to general cancer and in pain related to chronic CINP. Interim data from the forthcoming Phase 2 CINP study are expected in 2H 2025. The antiviral program includes IMC-1 and IMC-2, which are novel, proprietary, fixed dose combinations of anti-herpes antivirals and the anti-inflammatory agent, celecoxib. These combination antiviral approaches are being applied to the treatment of illnesses believed to be related to reactivation of previously dormant herpesviruses, including fibromyalgia (“FM”) and Long-COVID (“LC”). IMC-1 is poised to progress into Phase 3 development as a treatment for FM and is the focus of external partnership activities. IMC-2 has been assessed in both active control and double-blind, placebo clinical trials and in both cases demonstrated successful reduction of the fatigue associated with LC. The company has reached an agreement with FDA on using reduction in fatigue as the primary endpoint for future LC research and is currently planning to advance IMC-2 into Phase 2b research.
