  • Dylan Dreyer Leaves In-Laws Detailed List When Babysitting Her Kids: ‘Helpful or Annoying?’

Dylan Dreyer may have just crowned herself the queen of organization.

On Monday, Jan. 27, the Today co-host, 43, posted a snap to Instagram showing the detailed list that she left her in-laws when babysitting her children. From what they should eat to all of their after-school activities, Dreyer had every part of the week planned out.

“You know how much I love my lists! How much fun would it be to have me as your daughter-in-law??” she wrote in the Instagram caption. “I think I’m being helpful! Sound off: helpful or impossibly annoying???”

Dreyer shares three boys, Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Russell, 3, with her husband Brian Fichera. In January 2022, the meteorologist shared she would no longer appear on the weekend edition of the daytime talk show so she could dedicate more time to Fichera and their sons.

“These boys are my whole life and Brian and I, we love being a team on weekends and spending as much time as we can with them and having as much fun as we can,” Dreyer explained. “That’s really all I’m going to be doing, just sitting at home and just loving up on those three.”

“It’s all about family time,” she added. “This job can get crazy especially when we’re traveling and we’re busy, but it’s so important to make time for family, too.”

In December 2024, the family of five celebrated Calvin turning 8 years old. In her caption, Dreyer shared how far she’s come in her confidence as a mother since welcoming her oldest son.

“How are you 8???? I remember the day you were born…I never thought I’d be a good mom,” Dreyer wrote in her caption.

“Now I’m making homemade layer cakes with the Bruins logo and ice skating with 3 boys,” she added. “It’s what Cal wanted and I will give these boys the world. Happy birthday buddy!!!”

Dylan Dreyer, co-host of the Today show and mother of two, recently made headlines for leaving a detailed list of instructions for her in-laws when they were babysitting her children. Some are praising her for being organized and thorough, while others are calling it overly controlling and micromanaging.

What do you think? Is it helpful or annoying to leave a detailed list for babysitters, even if they are family members? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Call Ryan Seacrest’s Hosting ‘Annoying’ & ‘Lazy’

Ryan Seacrest is being hit with some criticism from longtime Wheel of Fortune lovers. Since taking over as host for Pat Sajak in September, Seacrest has received mixed reviews from viewers about his performance, with new complaints now rolling in about some of his tendencies.

One fan in the Wheel of Fortune Reddit forum wondered why Seacrest “has been forgetting to remind the player to dump the wild card after landing on bankrupt.” The commenter pointed this out after the Monday, January 27, episode, adding, “I’m not sure if he’s been forgetting too much or he’s just being lazy to remind the player.”

This sparked a discussion about other things that had been bothering viewers about Seacrest’s hosting abilities. “I think the more annoying thing is when he doesn’t remind them to call a letter before they solve in the last round when time is running out,” someone wrote. “Lady today lost out on 1500 or so.”

Another person jumped into say, “Oh my god, I hate the way he shows the money and the bonus round. He holds the card up against his chest and builds up the suspense, and it’s 40K. Sad slide whistle.” Someone else had a list of complaints, writing, “I just don’t believe that he actually loves the game itself. And as the host, he should be pointing out to the players when they have the clock ticking or ‘Don’t want to guess a letter first?’ It [would show] he cares about everyone doing well. And good grief — announce the dollar amount of the prize money at the end of the final spin.”

However, there were other commenters who jumped to Seacrest’s defense. “I love him. Think he is awesome,” someone said, while someone else wrote, “I’d prefer the host not remind people how to play the game. If I’m in the lead and the host reminds another player to guess a letter, and it results in them winning, I’d be pissed. I played the game correctly and didn’t need a reminder. Why is the host helping the other player? It’s fairest to just let everyone play and the best player wins.”

A third person added, “I really enjoy how Ryan hosts the show. He’s enthusiastic and really cheers the contestants on. I never cared for Pat’s snarky comments.”

Sajak was the host of Wheel for 43 years before he left the gig last year. His contract lasts through the early 2030s, according to The New York Times.

The long-running game show “Wheel of Fortune” has been a staple in American television for decades, but fans are not happy with the current host, Ryan Seacrest. Many viewers have taken to social media to express their displeasure with Seacrest’s hosting style, with some calling it “annoying” and “lazy.”

One fan tweeted, “I used to love watching Wheel of Fortune, but Ryan Seacrest’s hosting is just unbearable. He seems disinterested and doesn’t have the same energy as previous hosts.” Another fan wrote, “I miss the days when Pat Sajak and Vanna White were in charge. Seacrest just doesn’t have the same charm.”

Seacrest took over hosting duties for the show in 2020, following the retirement of long-time host Pat Sajak. While some viewers have praised Seacrest for bringing a fresh perspective to the show, others feel that he is not living up to the standard set by his predecessors.

Despite the backlash, Seacrest has not responded to the criticism. It remains to be seen if he will address the concerns of fans or if he will continue to host “Wheel of Fortune” in his own unique style.

Manchester United scouts watch ‘very annoying’ 18-goal striker who is ‘similar’ to Viktor Gyokeres

Manchester United splashed the cash on a new striker over the summer but Joshua Zirkzee’s future already looks unclear.

Manchester United has become a graveyard for top talents over the last 10 years.

The likes of Raphael Varane, Paul Pogba, Angel Di Maria, Romelu Lukaku and Radamel Falcao have enjoyed huge success elsewhere but didn’t live up to expectations at United.

Even top young players such as Antony, Rasmus Hojlund and Jadon Sancho have found United a difficult home to fulfil their potential.

Joshua Zirkzee may be the latest name to join that list having so far struggled at Old Trafford.

United signed Zirkzee from Bologna over the summer but his lack of goals has been a concern and fans even cheered Zirkzee off as he was substituted against Newcastle United on Monday.

    Manchester United scout red-hot striker

Juventus remain interested in Zirkzee and it would not be a huge surprise to see him leave in 2025 having struggled so far.

United are unsurprisingly looking at other strikers, possibly with the idea of replacing Zirkzee in the near future.

The Daily Mail report that United scouts were watching Porto in action against Boavista on Saturday with striker Samu Aghehowa believed to be the target.

Samu only joined Porto from Atletico Madrid over the summer but he has seriously impressed this season.

Aghehowa has now scored 18 goals in 21 games for Porto this season and scored twice in a 4-0 thrashing of Boavista.

United may not be in a position to move for Aghehowa in January given the club’s financial restrictions, but he is certainly a name to keep tabs on for the summer.

    Key:

    Position 1 – 4 : Champions League
Position 5 : UEFA Europa League
    Position 18 – 20 : Relegation

Who is United target Samu Aghehowa?

Aghehowa was born in Melilla to Nigerian parents and started out in the Granada ranks, scoring 18 times in 36 games for their B team.

The 20-year-old joined Atletico in 2023 but was loaned straight to Alaves, scoring eight goals in La Liga last season.

Aghehowa – who went by ‘Samu Omorodion’ last season – has now earned a first Spain cap having been on fire for Porto.

A huge presence at 6ft 4in tall, Aghehowa has already shown United what he is all about with two goals against United in the Europa League this season.

Barcelona’s Deco has even compared the ‘very annoying’ Aghehowa to Viktor Gyokeres, the man who couldn’t stop scoring under Ruben Amorim at Sporting.

“They are both similar. Samu is physically strong and can easily get to the goal. Last season, against Barcelona, he scored a goal and had two or three chances. He is a player who is very annoying, who is very strong and who can have a big impact in the Portuguese league,” Deco told O Jogo.

That may well excite United fans given the admiration for Gyokeres and Amorim may well be keeping one eye on the Portuguese market.

Manchester United scouts have been keeping a close eye on an 18-goal striker who has drawn comparisons to Viktor Gyokeres. The young forward has been making waves in the football world with his impressive goal-scoring record and playing style.

The scouts have been impressed with the striker’s ability to find the back of the net and his work rate on the field. Despite being just 18 years old, he has already shown great potential and is seen as a future star in the making.

One United scout described the striker as “very annoying” to play against, highlighting his tenacity and determination to score goals. The comparison to Gyokeres, who is currently playing for Coventry City, has further piqued the interest of the Manchester United recruitment team.

It remains to be seen whether United will make a move for the talented young striker, but one thing is for sure – he is definitely a player to watch out for in the future. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting prospect!

Andy Cohen has revealed the one irritating part of co-hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live special with his friend Anderson Cooper.

Cohen, who is entering his eight consecutive year as Cooper’s co-host, revealed the most “annoying” bit about the whole evening in a recent interview with People.

“Well, [it’s] that I have to be the straight guy,” the host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live said. “Literally, [Cooper’s] in a puddle of giggles for the last 90 minutes of the broadcast, and I’m the one that’s hitting all the commercial breaks.”

Cohen then poked fun at his and Cooper’s roles towards the end of the New Year’s Eve special.

“I kind of turn into Mr. CNN for the last 90 minutes and he turns into Mr. Bravo,” he added. “It’s a very funny role reversal.”

Earlier this month, CNN announced that Cohen will again join anchor Cooper as host of the network’s New Year’s Eve Live, broadcast from Times Square in New York City.

The news came two months after he told Variety that he was expecting to return to the special and looking forward to Cooper taking shots live on the air.

“After what Anderson did in that hurricane, I’m not only giving him tequila, I’m throwing it at him,” he said, referencing Cooper getting hit by flying debris while covering Hurricane Milton.

Cohen pushing a reluctant Cooper to choke down tequila shots, all while creating viral moments on social media, was a tradition that was briefly interrupted during the then-CNN CEO Chris Licht’s tumultuous reign. After Licht took over in 2022, he announced that the network would dial down the on-air drinking during its New Year’s Eve coverage.

However, Licht was fired months later in 2023 after the release of an unflattering June 2023 profile of him inThe Atlantic, which captured the former Late Show producer appearing to take moves to make the storied cable news network more appealing to Trump fans.

CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen begins at 8 p.m. ET and will feature a wide array of comedians, musical performers, and celebrities.

Some of the artists that will be featured on the broadcast include Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, who will perform live from his residency in Las Vegas, Sting, Meghan Trainor, Shania Twain, Diplo, and Lil Jon. Additionally, Mickey Guyton will perform “Imagine” live from Times Square, and comedians Whitney Cummings, Amy Sedaris and Ziwe will appear.

Elsewhere around the country, national correspondent Randi Kaye will report from Key West, while correspondent Stephanie Elam will host coverage from the Bahamas. CNN International host Richard Quest has once again been tasked with reporting from the crowds at Times Square.

After Cohen and Cooper sign off at 12:30 a.m. ET, anchor Sara Sidner will be joined by CNN data analyst Harry Enten and sports journalist Cari Champion to take over the broadcast and count down the new year in the Central Time Zone in Austin, Texas.

Andy Cohen recently shared the most ‘annoying’ part of co-hosting the annual ‘New Year’s Eve Live’ special with Anderson Cooper. The dynamic duo has been hosting the show together for several years now, bringing in the New Year with their hilarious banter and on-air antics.

In a recent interview, Cohen revealed that the most annoying part of co-hosting the show with Cooper is trying to keep up with his strict wardrobe requirements. Cohen joked that Cooper is a “fashion diva” and always has specific demands when it comes to their outfits for the night.

Despite the wardrobe challenges, Cohen and Cooper always manage to put on a fantastic show and ring in the New Year with style. Fans can’t wait to see what the pair has in store for this year’s broadcast, and if they’ll be able to top their previous on-air shenanigans.

Andy Cohen is spilling the tea on what it’s like working with longtime friend and colleague Anderson Cooper.

Before SiriusXM’s 10th Annual Radio Andy Holiday Hangout (which he co-hosts with Amy Sedaris) in N.Y.C. on Dec. 19, Cohen, 56, spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about his love of radio, his upcoming holiday plans and the most “annoying” part of hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with Cooper, 57.

“Well, [it’s] that I have to be the straight guy,” the Bravo host revealed. “Literally, he’s in a puddle of giggles for the last 90 minutes of the broadcast, and I’m the one that’s hitting all the commercial breaks.”

The comment came on the heels of Cooper recently revealing his own biggest pet peeve about hosting the NYE show during an appearance on Cohen’s Bravo series Watch What Happens Live.

“Just who he’s gonna insult and what the clean up on aisle 3 is gonna be in the morning,” Cooper, 57, said during the Dec. 16 episode.

Cooper’s comment — while said light-heartedly — likely refers to a 2021 incident in which Cohen claims he was served too much alcohol during the live event, leading him to insult a competing New Year’s broadcast on ABC hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Cohen called Seacrest’s show a “group of losers,” which landed him in hot water the next day.

Speaking of the incident a few days later on The Howard Stern Show, Cohen admitted that he regretted his actions. “I really like Ryan Seacrest and he’s a great guy and I really regret saying that and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it,” he told Stern.

This will mark the eighth consecutive year that Cohen and Cooper will be hosting the CNN special, and viewers have come to expect — and delight — in watching the old friends crack each other up. Fans, especially, love watching the usually buttoned-up Cooper let loose.

Cohen and Cooper have been friends for over two decades, and first connected when a mutual friend attempted to set them up. While a date never actually happened (Cooper called it off after speaking to Cohen on the phone), the pair connected several years later and became platonic friends.

Now, the pair have bonded over fatherhood. Cohen is father to Benjamin, 5, and Lucy, 2, while Cooper shares sons Wyatt, 4, and Sebastian, 2, with his ex-partner Benjamin Maisani.

“We are these geriatric patients hobbling around chasing our children, but look it’s another bonding thing,” Cohen said in a Dec. 2022 episode of his Table For Two podcast. He also shared that he is “so glad” his children will get to spend time with other kids who come from a home with two dads.

Andy Cohen recently sat down for an exclusive interview with us to discuss his experience co-hosting the New Year’s show with Anderson Cooper. When asked about the most annoying part of working with his longtime friend, Cohen didn’t hesitate to share his thoughts.

“The most annoying part of co-hosting with Anderson has to be his constant need for perfection,” Cohen revealed. “He’s always fussing over the lighting, the camera angles, and making sure everything is just right. It can be exhausting trying to keep up with his high standards.”

Despite their differences, Cohen and Cooper have formed a dynamic duo that viewers can’t get enough of. The pair’s chemistry and banter make for an entertaining and unforgettable New Year’s celebration every year.

As they gear up for another exciting show, fans can expect more laughs, surprises, and undoubtedly some eye-rolling moments from Cohen as he navigates the challenges of co-hosting with Cooper. Don’t miss out on the fun and tune in to watch these two ring in the New Year in style!

  • Edward Norton on digging into the activism of Pete Seeger for ‘A Complete Unknown’ and annoying his kids with banjo-playing

Edward Norton on digging into the activism of Pete Seeger for ‘A Complete Unknown’ and annoying his kids with banjo-playing

Though A Complete Unknown is about Bob Dylan, the film also dives deep into the life of Pete Seeger.

The folk singer was instrumental in discovering and mentoring Dylan, and the film follows how Dylan ultimately grows restless with the genre over the course of the 1960s. Despite their diverging paths, Seeger is still there, rooting for him and advocating for civil rights alongside him as well.

Edward Norton told Yahoo Entertainment that he was drawn to the role of Seeger because the character is “incredibly complicated and compelling.”

Trusted news and daily delights, right in your inbox

See for yourself — The Yodel is the go-to source for daily news, entertainment and feel-good stories.

“The music alone in this film was enough to hook me, and I loved the idea of getting into the music to recreate some of it. It was a different kind of challenge,” he said.

Norton said Seeger is a “well-documented person,” so when preparing for the role, he spent a lot of time watching “almost everything that was ever recorded of him” in a “treasure trove” on YouTube.

He also learned how to play the banjo.

“I focused very hard on a limited repertoire, so I think if I play ‘This Land Is Your Land’ one more time in my house, my children are going to break the banjo over my head,” he joked.

Though it’s now a familiar tune, Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land” was released in 1945 as an anti-nationalist response to “God Bless America.” Over the years, it became a popular protest song.

As an activist himself, Norton said he “admired [Seeger] enormously” and felt an “alignment” with him, especially when he was in his early 20s.

“He was the guy who cleaned up the Hudson River,” Norton said. “There were people who — when I told them I was going to play Seeger — they got tears in their eyes. He had an enormous effect of inspiration on many people.”

Norton hopes people who see A Complete Unknown will learn about “the span and depth of [Seeger’s] commitment to social causes across many decades,” he said. “In general, I think we all hope the film would get people to look a little deeper at artists in that whole period — how tightly woven these great artists were with … the movement for social change.”

“They were in it to try to use music as an instrument of change, and not just to get famous and rich, you know what I mean?” Norton added. “It’s worth a reconsideration.”

A Complete Unknown is in theaters now.

Edward Norton on digging into the activism of Pete Seeger for ‘A Complete Unknown’ and annoying his kids with banjo-playing

In a recent interview, actor and filmmaker Edward Norton opened up about his deep dive into the activism of folk legend Pete Seeger for his upcoming film ‘A Complete Unknown.’ Norton, who is known for his dedication to his craft, revealed that he spent months researching Seeger’s life and work in order to fully embody the iconic musician on screen.

“I was really inspired by Pete Seeger’s unwavering commitment to social and environmental causes throughout his life,” Norton shared. “I wanted to do justice to his legacy and show the impact that one person can have through their art and activism.”

Norton also admitted that his newfound love for the banjo, a signature instrument of Seeger’s, has been a source of annoyance for his kids. “I’ve been practicing the banjo non-stop for this role, and let’s just say my kids aren’t exactly thrilled about it,” Norton joked. “But I think it’s important to immerse yourself fully in a character, and for me, that means learning to play the banjo like Pete Seeger.”

‘A Complete Unknown’ is set to explore Seeger’s life and career, from his early days as a member of The Weavers to his later years as a vocal activist for causes such as civil rights and environmentalism. Norton’s dedication to the role promises to bring a new depth and authenticity to the portrayal of this legendary figure in American music history.
