Wide receiver Anthony Miller and defensive lineman Josh Tupou have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s divisional playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
Miller had three catches for 12 yards in Baltimore’s 28-14 wild-card victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Pro Bowl receiver Zay Flowers (knee) doubtful for Sunday’s game, Miller will provide added depth.
Tupou last played in Week 12 and contributed a sack during the Ravens’ 30-23 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. The 30-year-old Tupou has played 61 defensive snaps this season while appearing in three games. He was signed to the practice squad in October after spending seven years with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Baltimore Ravens have announced that they have elevated wide receiver Anthony Miller and defensive tackle Josh Tupou from the practice squad for their upcoming playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
Miller, who was acquired by the Ravens earlier this season, provides additional depth at the wide receiver position and brings valuable experience to the team. His speed and route-running ability could prove to be a valuable asset against the Bills’ defense.
Tupou, a 6-foot-3, 345-pound defensive tackle, adds size and strength to the Ravens’ defensive line. His ability to clog up running lanes and disrupt opposing quarterbacks could make a significant impact in the playoff game.
Both Miller and Tupou have been practicing with the team and are familiar with the Ravens’ game plan, making them ready to contribute immediately. Their elevation to the active roster demonstrates the team’s commitment to putting the best players on the field for this crucial playoff matchup.
Ravens fans will be eager to see how Miller and Tupou perform in this playoff game and how they can help the team advance to the next round. Let’s go Ravens! #RavensFlock #PlayoffsBound

Longtime UFC light-heavyweight contender Anthony Smith isn’t retiring quite yet.
‘Lionheart’ returned to the octagon on the UFC 310 main card last month in Las Vegas. Back for the first time since suffering a short-notice loss to Roman Dolidze in June, Anthony Smith faced Dominick Reyes. For his part, ‘The Devastator’ headed into the bout fresh off a knockout win over Dustin Jacoby in the summer.
Just weeks before fight day, Anthony Smith’s life was shaken up. His longtime coach, Scott Morton, suddenly passed away. While the former title challenger debated pulling out, he instead went forth with the fight. At UFC 310, Reyes dominated Smith, scoring a second-round stoppage win in a hard-to-watch bout.
Post-fight, an emotional Anthony Smith seemingly announced his retirement in the cage. While the 36-year-old admitted the decision wasn’t final, ‘Lionheart’ added that it’s hard to see himself competing without Morton long-term. Over a month after that emotional night, Smith has changed his mind.
Anthony Smith talks about what changed his mind on retiring from MMA.
We will have one more Lionheart fight! pic.twitter.com/OlYICQl01x
— On Paper with Anthony Smith (@theonpaperpod) January 16, 2025
Speaking on a recent edition of his ‘On Paper With Anthony Smith’ Podcast, ‘Lionheart’ discussed the loss. There, the former UFC light-heavyweight title challenger revealed plans to fight on. After a trip to Puerto Rico, Smith decided that he had to fight one more time. The 36-year-old doesn’t want fans’ last memory of him, to be crying in the cage after such a traumatic loss.
“While I was in Puerto Rico, I was diving.” Anthony Smith stated in his podcast reflecting on his UFC 310 defeat. “… 70 feet underwater, looking at this incredible scenery around me. A little bit, I’m able to like, let in something small. ‘Okay b*tch, you’re down here. What are you going to do?’. That’s when I decided what I’m going to do, while I was diving. It was the only time I was able to shut the entire world out.”
He continued, “Focus on this one thing, and just let in a little bit [of that talk]… My first thought was ‘I can’t go out like that’. Crying in my walkout and then getting in the octagon and I’m bawling. Can’t even look at my kids because I’m so upset, letting a guy punch me in the face because I want to feel something over than grief. You can’t retire like that. I’m not saying I need a win! Just some circumstances that would be favorable would be nice.”
What do you make of these comments from the UFC light-heavyweight? Who do you want to see Anthony Smith fight next?
After suffering a devastating knockout loss at UFC 310, Anthony Smith has confirmed that he has no plans to retire just yet. Despite the emotional defeat, Smith remains determined to continue fighting and prove himself in the octagon.
In a recent interview, Smith opened up about the loss, stating “You can’t retire like that. I know I still have more to give and I’m not going to let one loss define my career.” The defeat may have been a setback, but Smith is focused on getting back in the gym, improving his skills, and coming back stronger than ever.
Fans of Smith can expect to see him back in action soon, as he prepares to bounce back from this setback and continue his journey in the world of MMA. With his determination and resilience, there’s no doubt that Smith will be back in the win column in no time. Stay tuned for updates on his next fight and continue to support him on his journey in the UFC.

Former UFC title challenger Anthony Smith still has some fight left in him.
Smith (38-21 MMA, 13-11 UFC) contemplated retirement after a TKO loss to Dominick Reyes last month at UFC 310. It was an emotional fight for Smith, who had recently lost his longtime friend and coach, Scott Morton.
However, a particular moment during Smith’s recent trip to Puerto Rico changed his entire outlook on the future.
“In that moment, I almost did just retire right then. But what I didn’t want to do is make a decision based on emotions,” Smith said on his “On Paper with Anthony Smith” podcast. “While I was in Puerto Rico, I was diving with a stranger, which is a little bit uncomfortable, so you’re super hyper-focused. I was 70 feet underwater, looking at this incredible scenery around me.
“And I was able to let in something small like, ‘OK b*tch, you’re down here, the world is shut out, what are you going to do?’ And that’s when I decided. It was when I was diving. It was the only time that I was able to shut the entire world out and focus on this one thing and then just let in a little bit of like, ‘What are you going to do with your life? What’s your plan?”
Smith was so overcome with emotions during his fight with Reyes that he dropped his hands and asked to be punched during the fight. Considering the circumstances he was dealing with before and during the fight, “Lionheart” would like to give himself a fair shake before calling it a career.
“My first thought was, ‘I can’t go out like that,’ like, crying on my walkout and then getting into the octagon, and I’m bawling, and I can’t look at my kids because I’m too upset,” Smith said. “Then letting a guy punch me in the face because I just want to feel something other than grief.
“You can’t retire like that. I’m not even saying I need a win. I just need some circumstances that are a little bit favorable would be nice. If I can just get a training camp where no one dies, that would be cool. That would be a positive. Go in and just give it my all for seven, eight weeks, get into the best shape I can, and go have a fun fight, see what happens, and then we get the hell out of here.”

Diving is a sport that requires immense physical and mental strength, as well as a willingness to push oneself beyond their limits. For UFC fighter Anthony Smith, diving served as a stark reminder that he still has plenty of fight left in him.
During a recent training session, Smith decided to try his hand at diving for the first time. As he stood at the edge of the diving board, fear and doubt crept in. But as he took the plunge and felt the rush of adrenaline, he knew that he was capable of so much more than he had previously believed.
The experience of diving pushed Smith to confront his own insecurities and self-doubt, and to realize that he still has a fire burning within him to compete and succeed. It was a powerful moment of self-discovery that reignited his passion for fighting and reminded him that he is not done yet.
As he emerged from the water, dripping wet but with a newfound sense of determination, Smith knew that he had found a new source of motivation to keep pushing forward in his career. Diving had shown him that he still has what it takes to overcome challenges and achieve greatness in the octagon.
So, next time you see Anthony Smith step into the cage, remember that it was diving that made him realize he’s not done fighting – and that he’s more determined and hungry for victory than ever before.

Uncrowned has Misfits Boxing 20 results, live round-by-round updates, start time and highlights for the Darren Till vs. Anthony Taylor fight card on Saturday night at the Co-Op Live in Manchester, England. One-time UFC title challenger Darren Till makes his Misfits Boxing debut against fellow MMA veteran and current Misfits light heavyweight champion Anthony Taylor in the night’s main event.
Till and Taylor have had a heated build-up to their 195-pound showdown. Till ignited a minor skirmish at Friday’s final faceoff after shoving Taylor in the throat. The two also had an explosive face-to-face on Uncrowned’s “The Ariel Helwani Show” after Till crashed Taylor’s pre-fight interview.
Till was initially scheduled to face Tommy Fury in the bout, however Fury withdrew in a bizarre manner following the pair’s introductory press conference, citing fears over Till using “MMA tactics.”
Till (18-5-1 MMA) has competed only once in boxing, scoring a second-round stoppage win over Mohammad Mutie in a July 2024 exhibition that ended in a wild brawl. Once an undefeated contender in the UFC’s welterweight division, the Liverpool native ultimately lost five of his final six UFC bouts before requesting his release from the promotion in 2023.
Taylor (7-5 MMA, 7-5-1 boxing) struggled to find consistent success as an MMA fighter but has flourished in the influencer boxing scene, winning four straight bouts under the Misfits Boxing banner and becoming the promotion’s reigning light heavyweight champion. His title is not on the line in Saturday’s bout.
In the Misfits Boxing 20 co-main event, combat sports commentator Wade Plemons makes his boxing debut against Masai Warrior.
Misfits Boxing 20: Till vs. Taylor begins at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN, with the main event ring walks expected around 5 p.m. ET.

This is the Misfits Boxing 20 main event live blog for Darren Till vs. Anthony Taylor, the influencer boxing match taking place on Saturday at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England.
A former UFC welterweight title challenger, Till left the UFC in 2023 to pursue a career in boxing. He made his debut last July in an exhibition bout against Mohammad Mutie in an exhibition bout, winning by a strange TKO that led to an in-ring brawl.
Till was originally supposed to face Tommy Fury this weekend, however Fury withdrew from the bout, saying he was concerned Till would not adhere to the rules of boxing. In Fury’s place, Taylor stepped in on short notice to face Till.
Also hailing from MMA origins, Taylor competed for numerous MMA organizations, including Bellator, before shifting his focus to boxing in 2021. Though he had an up-and-down start, Taylor is now on a four-fight winning streak and holds the Misfits light heavyweight title. This bout against Till is a catchweight bout and thus Taylor’s title will not be on the line.
Check out the Till vs. Taylor live blog below.
Pre-Fight: Here we are! Wade Plemons just had a dominant decision win in the co-main event which means its Till time.
Well, actually it’s KSI talk time. He’s in the ring asking the fans who they want him to fight and just killing time? I don’t know but this is not necessary.
Now we’re going. Taylor is making his walk to the ring. He’s in white, gladiator shorts, with gold trim. He’s bouncing around, dancing enthusiastically, and looks very, very confident. Man is ready for this one.
Till is in a traditional boxing robe walking to the ring, white with black trim. He looks very unbothered by everything, like he’s not about to get into a fist fight. His trunks are also white with black trim.
The announcer gets things going and it’s time to rumble. Final instructions and the fighters touch gloves. Go time.
Round 1: Till takes the center right away and looks massive in there. Taylor is bouncing around the outside. Taylor lands a good right hand early bt Till walks through it. Till moving Taylor around the ring and cornering him. Till unloads but Taylor slips out. Till jabs Taylor back, gets Taylor against the ropes and lands a few decent shots. Taylor is so small in there and Till is using that.
Till’s left hand is finding a home and Taylor is literally jumping at him at points. Till’s jab is measured but landing. Taylor is taking these shots well but he’s taking a few. Taylor lands a leaping left hook but Till takes it. The size difference is the story of the first round.
MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 Till.
Round 2: Slight low blow from Taylor to start. He’s warned to keep them up. Taylor nods and then comes right back with a right hand. Open stance matchup and Taylor is now trying to dig that power hand into the body. Till very measured, walking Taylor back but not throwing much this round.
Till corners Taylor but doesn’t pull the trigger. He’s waiting in there a lot. Taylor slipping a few shots. Till finally connects a left hand and another. Taylor might be hurt here. He’s starting to cover up and move along the ropes. Taylor not returning fire at all and Till mixing body and head now until the end of the round.
MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 Till, 20-18 Till overall.
Round 3: Till back on the prowl. Taylor effortlessly walking back to the ropes now and not even giving Till much to think about. A few punches from Taylor come up short but then Taylor puts a 1-2 and rips the body. Till’s size is far too much. He’s just bullying Taylor around in there and has no fear of repercussions.
OH! Till hurts Taylor with an uppercut! Taylor came in and ate a counter uppercut hard, and then fell. ref called it a push but that is not right. He’s up and clearly hurt and Till is coming for him! Against the ropes and a left hand puts Taylor on the mat again. This time the referee warns Till for a shove.
Fight restarts and Till is in attack mode while Taylor tries to survive. Left hand from Till, combo. Taylor survives the round.
MMA Fighting scores the round 10-8 Till, 30-26 Till overall.
Round 4: This is just a matter of time until Till gets Taylor out of there. He looked bad in the corner. Till starts the round by pushing Taylor back immediately. Lands a left hook. Taylor throwing some here though which is good. Showing life, trying to dig back in. Taylor even lands a right hand but Till eats it. Taylor can’t seem to hurt him at all.
Another counter uppercut from Till and this one sits him down for real! Taylor ducked his head coming in and Till timed it perfectly. Taylor is in trouble but beats the count and Till pouring it on now. Big shots! Taylor covering up, trying to survive. Referee stops Till during a combo to admonish him about something. Should be stopping the bout.
Till hands down, assaulting Taylor. Another uppercut catches Taylor and he’s on wobbly legs. Left hand backs him up. Taylor falls over but again the refs calls it a push. This could be stopped at any point. Taylor lands a right hand. Another “slip” and ref continues to just allow Taylor to flop around with no issue. Bell sounds.
MMA Fighting scores the round 10-8 Till, 40-34 Till overall.
Round 5: Taylor’s corner allowing this to continue is bad. But they do. And Taylor is trying to get back in it early with movement. But Till walks right though him and puts Taylor against the ropes. Nice left from Till lands. And another big uppercut. Till timing that so well.
Taylor lands a good right hand though and draws blood from the nose of Till. He’s still on the march though. Credit to Taylor, he’s making this round competitive. Lands a dipping right hand over the top. Clean shot but Till eats it. Till bleeding now though. Another big uppercut from Till but another right hand from Taylor. He’s throwing everything into that.
And Till might be slowing down. Taylor out-working him over the course of this round. Both men staring at each other to end the round.
MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 Taylor, 49-44 Till overall.
Round 6: Taylor comes out and immediately targets the body. He’s alive in here when I had him written off for dead. Till looking more spry though and puts two left hands into him. Till still backing Taylor up and drops him! Another big uppercut puts him right on the mat and this is a knockdown for sure.
Taylor beats the count but he’s hurt! Till pounces with a big combination and Taylor’s on skates! Punches and Taylor drops into the ropes and that’s it!!! Darren Till wins his Misfits debut.
Official Decision: Darren Till def. Anthony Taylor via Retirement — Round 6, 1:05
Post Fight: Till gives Taylor plenty of props for fighting up several weight classes, and takes a dig at Tommy Fury. He then talks about his Misfits debut, says he thinks he can do good things here. Then he grabs the mic and calls out Jorge Masvidal, Mike Perry, and everyone else to meet him in the ring.
Taylor then speaks, says he fought 20 pounds above his weight and that it didn’t go his way. Then says he’s going to go back “to the drawing board” and teases a potential retirement.
Welcome to our live blog coverage of Misfits Boxing 20, featuring the highly anticipated matchup between Darren Till and Anthony Taylor. Both fighters have been training hard and are ready to put on a show for the fans tonight.
Round 1: The bell rings and both fighters come out swinging. Till is using his reach advantage to keep Taylor at bay, but Taylor is not backing down. Till lands a few solid shots, but Taylor is able to counter with some quick combinations. The round ends with both fighters looking strong.
Round 2: Till is starting to find his rhythm, landing some heavy shots on Taylor. Taylor is showing his toughness, continuing to press forward and land some shots of his own. Till is starting to find his range and is landing some crisp combinations. Taylor is starting to show signs of fatigue as the round comes to an end.
Round 3: Till is really starting to take control of the fight, landing some powerful shots that are visibly hurting Taylor. Taylor is trying to rally back, but Till’s accuracy and power are proving to be too much. Till lands a big shot that sends Taylor to the canvas, and the referee steps in to stop the fight. Darren Till is declared the winner by TKO in the third round.
What a performance by Darren Till! He showed his skills and power in this fight, and Anthony Taylor showed his toughness as well. Thank you for joining us for this live blog coverage of Misfits Boxing 20. Stay tuned for more exciting fights in the future!

TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays, who Friday missed out on coveted right-hander Roki Sasaki, were discussing a potential deal with free-agent slugger Anthony Santander, according to two industry sources.
A switch-hitting outfielder who hit a career-best 44 home runs last season, the 30-year-old would provide a middle-of-the-order bat to support Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in a lineup that needs the boost.
Talks are believed to have picked up between the sides Friday morning.
Santander started 129 games in right field for the Baltimore Orioles last year, but he also has 90 career games in left field, where the Blue Jays are unsettled.
Sasaki announced via Instagram on Friday that he was joining the Los Angeles Dodgers, becoming the latest near-miss heartbreak for the Blue Jays. Earlier Friday, they added $2 million in additional international bonus pool room from Cleveland, taking on outfielder Myles Straw and roughly $12 million of what he’s owed through 2026 to get it done.
The Blue Jays have all of 2025 to use that pool space and they’ll soon begin finalizing deals with international players they had handshake agreements with, but had put on hold while waiting for Sasaki’s decision.
The Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly in talks with the Baltimore Orioles to acquire power-hitting outfielder Anthony Santander. Santander, who has shown impressive power at the plate, could provide a much-needed boost to the Blue Jays’ lineup.
The 26-year-old outfielder has hit .261 with 64 home runs and 196 RBIs in 383 games with the Orioles. His ability to drive in runs and hit for power could make him a valuable addition to the Blue Jays’ lineup, which is already stacked with talented hitters like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette.
While the deal is not yet finalized, the Blue Jays are said to be eager to add Santander to their roster as they look to make a push for the playoffs. Stay tuned for more updates on this potential trade as it develops.

Anthony Keyvan never set out to become a beacon of representation for queer Iranian and Filipino Americans. But with his recent roles as a romantic interest of the title gay protagonist in Hulu’s “Love, Victor” and as an all-American jock at an international Korean school in Netflix’s “XO, Kitty,” Keyvan, 24, is part of the next generation of actors looking to make television representation more expansive.
“I feel I’ve won the lottery in a lot of way,” Keyvan, who has been acting for the better part of the last two decades, said of viewers’ responses to his diverse characters. “It’s a responsibility I will take time and time again, because I know that it has impacted people in such a positive way.”
“XO, Kitty,” which returns to Netflix on Thursday for its sophomore season, is a spinoff of writer Jenny Han’s acclaimed “To All the Boys” film trilogy. The series follows the youngest Covey sister, teen matchmaker Kitty (Anna Cathcart), as she attends the fictional Korean International School of Seoul in an attempt to reconnect with her late mother’s roots. Keyvan plays Quincy “Q” Shabazian, an openly gay star track athlete and fellow American exchange student who becomes Kitty’s best friend and closest confidant.
Much like the original “To All the Boys” films, “XO, Kitty” features a young Asian American woman as the romantic lead. But in expanding her fictional universe, Han wanted to further diversify the spinoff by introducing characters of different ethnicities and sexualities. By the end of the first season, Kitty, who finds herself having feelings for her ex-boyfriend and two of their classmates, realizes she is bisexual. The second installment finds Kitty navigating her increasingly complicated love life at school — largely with the help of Q — while she tracks down her estranged extended family in South Korea.
Whereas other coming-of-age shows starring LGBTQ characters may focus on the inherent anxiety of coming out, Keyvan said he believes “XO, Kitty,” with its emphasis on treating queerness as a nonissue, “gives hope to young queer people or questioning people that their life doesn’t have to look a certain way.”
“We’re so used to the queer experience being a very traumatic thing for people and the coming-out story being extremely traumatic, chaotic and tough to navigate. And while that is true for a lot of people, it’s refreshing to see a different take on that,” said Keyvan, whose character falls for an athletic rival in the new season. “With ‘XO, Kitty,’ queerness is normalized, and it’s not something that is looked down upon or something that you feel like you need to suppress with our characters.”
Around the time he landed the role in early 2022, Keyvan sat down with then-showrunners Han and Sascha Rothchild to discuss his character’s arc. It was during that meeting that Keyvan asked the writers to make Q half-Filipino and half-Iranian like him — an idea that he said was met with immediate acceptance. But two seasons in, Keyvan said, Q, despite being considered one of the leads, is still very much “a surface-level character” who “helps push the plot forward” for other characters and has been given little to no backstory apart from a couple of family references — a pointed critique that he said he would be eager to discuss with the writers in a potential third season.
“XO, Kitty,” nevertheless, feels like a natural continuation of Keyvan’s mission to bring parts of his own identity to his work. In 2021, he rose to fame for playing Rahim, a high school student who struggles to come out to his devout Muslim parents and seeks counsel from protagonist Victor Salazar (Michael Cimino), in “Love, Victor.” (Keyvan was cast, the producers decided to make his character Iranian American.) While playing a new potential love interest to the protagonist came with its fair share of detractors, Keyvan said, playing Rahim marked the first time in his career when his work “directly impacted how people view themselves and how they walked through this world.”
“It is such an honor that I can’t even describe to you, hearing people from a Middle Eastern background or a Muslim background feeling like they are seen through a queer person on TV who looks like them,” Keyvan said, adding that, like any person his age, he likes to keep up with the various messages, comments and video edits from fans. “In a lot of these countries, it’s illegal to be gay or part of the queer community, so they have to suppress a lot of themselves all the time. And to see a character like Rahim on ‘Love, Victor’ being so outwardly himself and so unapologetically himself was something that definitely resonated with a lot of people.”
For Keyvan, the fact that there is a growing appetite for more diverse stories is a sign of the changing times. As a young actor who presents as “ethnically ambiguous,” Keyvan has often been cast to play Latino or Hispanic characters — “which I am not,” he reiterated — but he “hardly” gets any auditions for mixed-race characters and instead usually gets parts labeled as “open ethnicity.”
Having a creative team that is adamant about “creating a world full of diversity and inclusion” and casting characters authentically ultimately makes a big difference in bridging that gap, Keyvan said.
“There are so many mixed people in the world, and I think it’s becoming more common now, but at least when I was auditioning for the show, there were hardly any mixed characters on television,” he said. “So it’s nice to see that not only our lead, Anna, is a mixed person playing a mixed person, but I also get to do that, as well, on the same show and it be normalized and celebrated.”
Although he harbors his own aspirations of one day being able to tell his — and his immigrant parents’ — own stories, Keyvan is acutely aware of the realities of the business. Despite the significant strides the Asian community has made in recent years, Keyvan noted that the visibility of other minority groups continues to lag in Hollywood, in large part because of the studios’ reluctance to commit fully to having diverse ensembles.
“It feels like almost a lot of times the industry does it for a few years, and they’re like, ‘OK, we represented you guys, we gave you this,’ and then they move on to the next marginalized community,” he said, noting that Latino-led shows such as “Love, Victor” and “One Day at a Time” have not been replaced with new ones. “And I worry that sometimes that this is just a little blip or a little bit of time that we get as Asian people to make our mark in the industry and then they’re going to move on to the next [group].
“I definitely think there’s still a lot more work to be done,” he added. “I feel like with this new generation of creatives coming in, I am more hopeful that we will get the equality that we deserve in this industry. I’m seeing a lot that is giving me that hope, but I guess we just have to keep working and keep talking about it.”

The Lakers will head into a match-up with one of the league’s worst teams down one superstar. Anthony Davis was a late scratch on Friday as he was ruled out just before starting lineups were announced.
Jaxson Hayes started in his place.
Davis began the day listed as probable with his left ankle sprain. Roughly 45 minutes before the game, he was downgraded to questionable with the new designation before being ruled out.
This is not a new injury for AD as it’s another ailment he’s been managing. Earlier this season, he revealed that he had been dealing with the injury since last season and it would just be a matter of managing it through the season.
If there was a game the Lakers could afford to rest him in, it’d be a game against the team with four wins since Nov. 29 while also losing 15 games in that span. On top of that, Brooklyn is coming off a historical beatdown, losing 126-67 against the Clippers on Wednesday.
In his absence, it looks likely that newly-signed Trey Jemison will get some run. Christian Koloko and Armel Traore are both inactive for the Lakers while Jemison is active.
On Thursday, Redick spoke about Jemison and mentioned he would get some playing time. He also mentioned that the Lakers would play more two-big lineups, though that won’t be coming on Friday, obviously.
After Friday’s game, the Lakers will play again on Sunday night, giving Davis another day off to hopefully heal up for a return.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without star forward Anthony Davis for their upcoming matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Davis has been dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, a condition that has plagued him throughout the season.
Plantar fasciitis is a common injury among athletes and can be extremely painful and limiting. It occurs when the tissue that connects the heel to the toes becomes inflamed, causing sharp pain in the bottom of the foot.
Davis has been receiving treatment for the injury, but the team has decided to play it safe and give him extra time to recover. The Lakers are currently in the midst of a tight playoff race and will need Davis to be at full strength for the stretch run.
In Davis’ absence, the Lakers will need other players to step up and fill the void. LeBron James and Dennis Schroder will likely take on a larger scoring load, while players like Montrezl Harrell and Kyle Kuzma will need to provide extra production off the bench.
The Lakers will certainly miss Davis’ presence on both ends of the court, but they will need to adjust and find ways to win without him. Hopefully, Davis will be able to recover quickly and rejoin the team soon.
