SAN ANTONIO – Businesses, attractions, medical offices and healthcare providers in the San Antonio area have announced closures on Monday and Tuesday due to the winter weather.
Light precipitation is forecast to arrive in the area by dinnertime Monday. Initially, it may not reach the ground, as the lower part of the atmosphere is very dry.
After sunset, light sprinkles could transition into light freezing rain or light sleet as temperatures gradually cool. Precipitation will peak between midnight and sunrise Tuesday. It’s during this timeframe where light sleet and freezing rain could turn to some light snow for a few areas.
