During the past few years, I’ve coached brilliant Salesforce Architects to become CTAs. I noticed a common challenge that they were facing (including myself when I was a CTA candidate); this certificate is like no other in the Salesforce world. You don’t realize the depth and breadth of the required knowledge until you actually experience it. Luckily, I had fantastic mentors who helped me prepare for the review board, but I know very well that this is a luxury that isn’t available for everyone. Some architects have great potential but are not supported by CTA mentors. I have created this book to become the personal mentor for all candidates eager to become CTAs.
I believe in example-led education. This book helps candidates experience several mock scenarios and observe how a CTA would think and solve them. The book will help both CTA candidates and Senior Architects who do not necessarily target the accreditation but simply want to explore how CTAs design robust Salesforce solutions.

For Salesforce Architects, the main takeaway is to understand the extent of an end-to-end solution by observing real-world examples. Another key takeaway is learning the value of documenting a solution efficiently. They will be able to practice creating and documenting solutions the way a CTA does, using seven mini-scenarios and two full scenarios. This will help them pass the CTA review board and acquire the prestigious CTA certificate.
