Keep Every Last Resolution With These Tips from Robin Arzon
This is something that the mom of two recently practiced during her #3for31 challenge, which encouraged her followers to get in at least 30 minutes of movement or three miles of cardio every day of December.
“Originally when I created #3for31 it was a running challenge,” Robin explained. “But I recognize that not everybody wants to run every day in December, so 30 minutes a day is the commitment that a lot of people sign up for.”
Because the holiday season is a busy time for everyone, even this seasoned athlete planned on exercise snacking during the most festive time of the year.
“I’m already planning,” she revealed. “I’m probably going to do burpees before [the family] wakes up to get a few minutes there. After they open gifts then maybe I’ll do ten minutes of pilates. So it’s figuring out the little pockets where you are claiming it.”
It also signals to your loved ones that you’re taking your fitness seriously.
“And also expressing to my family members and to your loved ones that this is important to me,” she added. “I’m going to be better for you if I take care of myself.”
New Year’s resolutions are a great way to set goals for yourself and make positive changes in your life. However, sticking to these resolutions can be a challenge. That’s why I’ve put together some tips to help you keep every last resolution you make this year.1. Set specific, achievable goals: Instead of making vague resolutions like “get in shape” or “eat healthier,” be specific about what you want to achieve. For example, you could set a goal to run a certain number of miles each week or to cook at least three healthy meals at home each week.
2. Create a plan: Once you’ve set your goals, create a plan for how you will achieve them. Break down your goals into smaller, manageable steps and create a timeline for when you will complete each step.
3. Stay accountable: Share your resolutions with friends or family members who can help keep you accountable. You could also join a group or community of people who have similar goals. This way, you’ll have support and encouragement to help you stay on track.
4. Track your progress: Keep track of your progress towards your goals by journaling, using a fitness app, or creating a vision board. Seeing how far you’ve come can be motivating and help keep you focused on your goals.
5. Practice self-care: Taking care of your physical and mental health is important when trying to achieve your resolutions. Make sure to get enough rest, eat nutritious foods, and take time for activities that bring you joy and relaxation.
By following these tips from Robin Arzon, you can increase your chances of keeping every last resolution you make this year. Remember that it’s okay to slip up occasionally – what’s important is that you keep pushing forward and stay committed to your goals. Good luck!
