The World No.1 was asked about the auction following his second round at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he was seven off the lead heading into Saturday’s play. He said: “Nance and I were doing a thing in Houston for an organization we both love. A dear friend of ours, James Ragan, started a foundation called Triumph Over Kids Cancer. The car was given to Scheffler by his father after he graduated. He got plenty of use out of it, too. By 2022, it had approximately 190,000 miles on the clock after Scheffler used it to transport him to junior events and Monday qualifiers in the early days of his ownership. He even drove it to the 2022 Masters at Augusta National, where he claimed the Green Jacket for the first time.
Scheffler stands third on the all-time PGA Tour career money list with earnings of over $71m, but he opted against trading the car in for a more expensive option, and continued driving it until his son Bennett was born last May, when he took delivery of a new sponsor vehicle.
Ragan was a childhood friend of Scheffler’s who battled osteosarcoma. Scheffler has also supported the charity in other ways, including organizing the James A. Ragan Triumph Scramble, while his “Scottie’s Heroes” initiative, which provides golf clubs to young cancer patients.

As well as the privilege of owning a car used by Scheffler from his days as a promising amateur to becoming the best player in the world, it also gives Nantz two of Scheffler’s signatures. In December 2023, news broke that the auctioning off of 6ix9ine-related items was imminent due to a multimillion-dollar judgment in connection with a lawsuit accusing him of hitting a woman with a champagne bottle. By April of the following year, his home had been raided, resulting in multiple items being seized. Then, in July, TMZ reported that two luxury vehicles previously owned by 6ix9ine, specifically a Lamborghini and a Bentley, had been sold at auction.
On Instagram on Friday, 6ix9ine addressed the situation by advising those who don’t “live like this” to keep their opinions on what transpired to themselves.
“The reality was that I could not leave and get to the USA,” he said when addressing the raid and what’s happened since.

New footage shows the first peak inside O.J. Simpson‘s Las Vegas home … including his deathbed and the stash of personal items going up for auction.
TMZ obtained this video from inside O.J.’s Sin City residence — filmed shortly after his April 2024 death — and it shows the hospice bed where he took his last breaths.

The bed will NOT go up for sale, though, since it was taken back by the hospice services after O.J.’s death — but almost everything else WILL soon go up for auction. Malcolm LaVergne — the attorney serving as the special administrator of O.J.’s estate — will attempt to liquidate The Juice’s assets to pay back Simpson’s creditors.
A video tour of the home also shows O.J.’s mementos from his football days at USC and the NFL — game balls, helmets, trophies and more — plus a grand piano and a ton of artwork.
Photos from O.J. and Nicole Brown Simpson‘s wedding were also displayed inside the home … and one of the biggest reasons LaVergne needs to come up with some cash here is because O.J. was found liable in her and Ron Goldman‘s deaths.
O.J.’s mancave is also featured in the footage … plus a bunch of his golf gear, including a practice area in the backyard … next to the pool, grill and sauna.
Seems the Juice was sexually active in the home … in one of his drawers he kept Trojan condoms … Magnums.

A unique Paul Skenes autographed patch card found by an 11-year-old collector in Los Angeles will go to auction, Topps announced on Friday.
The 1/1 rookie debut patch card of the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher and 2024 NL Rookie of the Year was part of Topps’ 2024 Chrome Update set, which was released in November. The highly sought card, which has since been graded a perfect 10, is one of the more valuable pieces in the collection — so much so that Skenes’ own team put up a bounty if it was found.
After the set was released, the Pirates announced that whoever found the Skenes card would be eligible for prizes. Included in their offer was two Pirates season tickets behind home plate for 30 years, the ability to host a softball game with team alumni for 30 people at PNC Park, and a spring training experience that includes meeting Skenes, taking batting practice at the team facility and two autographed Skenes jerseys.
Skenes’ girlfriend, LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, added to the haul by offering the winner a spot in her suite during a Pirates game.
On Friday, Topps announced that the collector, whose identity has not been revealed, declined the Pirates’ offer and will instead put the card up for auction. All proceeds that Fanatics Collector takes from the card’s sale will be donated to Los Angeles fire relief funds.
The Pirates did extend an invite to bring the collector to Pittsburgh this season for a “special day” at PNC Park.

NEW ORLEANS (KDKA) – Before the teams take the field at Super Bowl LIX next month, Hunt Auctions and the NFL will once again host a live auction for the 17th year.
Among the items up for auction will be an archive of Steelers game-used jerseys from Pittsburgh native Timothy Kelley.
“Each year, the Super Bowl Live Auction draws interest from bidders in this country and abroad,” said David Hunt, President of Hunt Auctions. “The annual auction has previously featured an amazing roster of important football artifacts with this year’s offering of the Timothy Kelley Collection of Pittsburgh Steelers game-used jerseys ranking among the finest privately held groups of its type. We are always pleased to present this highly anticipated event which annually generates an impressive related donation to the wonderful charities of the NFL Auction program.”
In the archive will be a 1981 Franco Harris jersey, a 1982 Terry Bradshaw jersey, a 1982 Jack Lambert jersey, a 1982 Jack Ham jersey, a 1978 Rocky Bleier jersey, and a 1978 Lynn Swann jersey.
The Steelers jerseys are expected to be worth anywhere between $30,000-$100,000.
Along with the Steelers jerseys, there will be game-used jerseys from Tom Brady, Justin Herbert, Brandon Graham, Rob Gronkowski, and Brian Urlacher.
They also will be auctioning a 2016 Martellus Bennett Super Bowl ring as well as a 2017 Martellus Bennett AFC Championship ring.
