  • Her dad’s a top fund manager and she went to a $45k-a-year school. Now this Aussie ‘It’ girl is keeping some controversial company – and the rumour that won’t go away…

Makeup-free and dressed in pyjama bottoms and a low-cut tank top is hardly how most of us would like to be photographed in the street by the paparazzi.

But the ‘mystery woman’ pictured with controversial U.S. YouTuber David Dobrik in Sydney earlier this week somehow managed to look like a million bucks despite being dressed for a hungover Macca’s run.

But who was the stunning blonde rubbing shoulders with Dobrik, the headline magnet known for his polarising prank videos?

Her name is Emma Pillemer, but you probably know her as ‘Emma Pills’. Originally from Sydney’s eastern suburbs, the 23-year-old socialite is one of the Aussie ‘It’ girls living it up in Los Angeles.

Best known for the eye-catching jewellery she designs for her eponymous brand, and her starring role on reality TV show Made in Bondi, the vivacious party girl is fast making a name for herself in business and social circles on both sides of the Pacific.

The daughter of a high-profile fund manager who founded one of Sydney’s most powerful investment firms along with former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, Emma could’ve been forgiven for embracing the easy lifestyle of a trust-fund baby.

Best known for her unique and eye-catching pieces from her jewellery brand, the busty blonde has made a name for herself in both business and social circles

But instead, she launched her own brand just a year after finishing high school and quickly earned her first million, while also making a name for herself as the socialite queen bee of Gen Z.

Such status does not come without a price, however, and the petite blonde has recently been at the centre of unkind rumours she’s had breast enlargement.

However, our sources have it on impeccable authority her assets are 100 per cent natural and she is just ‘genetically gifted’.

And while she keeps her private life mainly under wraps, she has provided glimpses into her Hollywood connections, most notably while partying with Dobrik in 2023 in a racy stripper costume complete with a temporary ‘daddy’s little monster’ tattoo.

On Dobrik’s recent trip Down Under, she displayed her famously ample cleavage in a low-cut grey tank top while showing him the sights.

They appeared delighted to be in each other’s company, sharing jokes as they hit a local convenience store where he picked up a Celsius energy drink.

The pair have been friends for at least two years. Back in 2023, fans speculated they were an item after taking a trip to LA together.

But their relationship is strictly platonic, and insiders have pointed out the two were friends due to Emma’s connection to Dobrik’s executive assistant Natalie Noel.

And while her love life remains a closely guarded secret, it is clear that Emma has business in her blood.

Her father Russel Pillemer co-founded diversified funds management group Pengana in 2003, and with wife Carole raised their four children, including Emma, in New York City before making the move to Australia.

Once in Sydney, Emma was enrolled at the prestigious Moriah College, a $45,000-per-year Jewish primary and secondary school located in ritzy Queens Park, her attendance ensuring impeccable society connections.

But despite Emma’s privileged upbringing, the bold young designer has blazed her own business trail – turning down the corporate lifestyle her father is known for in favour of the glitz and glamour of the world of fashion.

At the same time Emma has also dipped her toes into the world of showbusiness, appearing on the Bondi spin-off of Made in Chelsea last year.

The Channel Seven series follows the lives and loves of young socialites living near one of the world’s most famous beaches and throughout Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Emma stood out by being the only cast member genuinely raised in Bondi, while other stars grew up in nearby Paddington, the Northern Beaches and even Perth.

Meet Emma, the daughter of a top fund manager in Australia and a graduate of a prestigious $45k-a-year school. With her privileged upbringing and connections, Emma seemed destined for a life of luxury and success. However, recent rumors have surfaced about Emma’s controversial company and a scandal that just won’t go away.

Despite her elite background, Emma has been spotted hanging out with a crowd known for their wild parties and questionable behavior. Some suggest that Emma is trying to rebel against her privileged upbringing, while others believe she is simply exploring her independence and freedom.

But the rumor that won’t go away is the one surrounding Emma’s relationship with a notorious figure in the finance world. Speculation has been rife about the nature of their connection and the potential impact it could have on Emma’s future.

As Emma navigates the high society scene and tries to carve out her own path, the question remains: will she be able to shake off the rumors and controversy that seem to follow her wherever she goes? Only time will tell.

Will family time help Novak Djokovic achieve his goals in Australia?

The Serbian is chasing his 100th tour-level title in Brisbane this week and will then aim to capture a record-extending 11th Australian Open crown and 25th major in Melbourne later in January.

Here for the ride Down Under is the Serbian’s wife, Jelena, and his children Stefan and Tara.

“This is the first time my family comes with me, my children, my wife [to Australia],” Djokovic said. “If I have a match day, I’m spending time getting ready for that match. She has to take care of the kids. She’s here supporting me, trying to give me that love and energy, along with kids, that I need to play my best tennis.

“So far it’s working very well. I’m feeling great on the court. I’m playing great. It allows me to not feel the guilt that I’m so far away for such a long time…This makes it so much easier for me, going back home knowing they’re going to be there waiting for me. I’m more motivated. I am also more calm, more serene. I spend great quality time with them. It allows me to also not think about tennis 24/7, to have time where I can just release the tension and be really involved in their time.”

On court, Djokovic earned his second win of the season. The 37-year-old defeated Gael Monfils to reach the quarter-finals in Brisbane and now leads the Frenchman 20-0 in the pair’s Lexus ATP Head2Head series.

“His game suits me well. To some extent the more you win against someone, the happier you are to play him,” Djokovic said. “We have had some really tough battles. He had a couple of matches where he was one point away. I think in Dubai a few years ago he had a couple of match points and should have won that match. It just happens. When you are on a bad roll, it is also affecting you mentally.

“But I think he deserves great credit for playing still at such a high level at his age. He’s so athletic. A super nice guy that is loved by millions of people. He’s a great entertainer, great charisma.”

After his victory against Monfils, Djokovic produced his trademark violin celebration. The top seed revealed his children are the decision makers when it comes to victory decisions.

“My children told me to have two different kinds of celebrations,” Djokovic said. “My daughter told me to keep going with the violin if I win. My son told me to play the saxophone, so I try and incorporate both.”

Djokovic will next meet Reilly Opelka in the quarter-finals on Friday, when he will hope to once again celebrate in front of his family.

Novak Djokovic, the world No. 1 in men’s tennis, is hoping that spending quality time with his family will lead to success at the upcoming Australian Open.

The Serbian superstar, who has won the Australian Open a record nine times, recently took some time off from the tour to be with his wife Jelena and their two young children. Djokovic has been spending time with his family in their home country and has been enjoying some much-needed rest and relaxation.

Djokovic is known for his mental toughness and focus on the court, but he also understands the importance of balance in his life. Spending time with his family helps him recharge and refocus, which he believes will ultimately benefit his performance on the tennis court.

The Australian Open, which is set to take place in January, is one of Djokovic’s favorite tournaments and he is determined to add another title to his impressive collection. With a renewed sense of purpose and a strong support system in his family, Djokovic is confident that he can achieve success in Melbourne once again.

Fans around the world will be eagerly watching to see if Djokovic’s family time will indeed lead to Aussie success. With his talent and determination, there is no doubt that Djokovic will be a force to be reckoned with on the courts of Melbourne Park.

  • Michael Clarke calls for Aussie star to retire amid revelation about Sam Konstas

Michael Clarke calls for Aussie star to retire amid revelation about Sam Konstas

Michael Clarke has revealed he believes Usman Khawaja should retire after the fifth Test at the SCG, while explaining why he believes Virat Kohli charged into Sam Konstas in Melbourne. Konstas became an instant sensation as he ramped and reverse-ramped Jasprit Bumrah in the Boxing Day Test, which sparked Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne to play a similarly-aggressive style.

Konstas’ approach clearly rattled Bumrah and the Indians, and resulted in Kohli making physical contact with the 19-year-old during a change of ends. Kohli was subsequently fined and given a demerit point by the ICC, and Clarke has now revealed he thinks the former captain didn’t like the “lack of respect” Konstas was showing.

“Virat Kohli is a tough cricketer. He will never take a backward step,” Clarke said on his ‘Beyond 23’ cricket podcast this week. “I think Virat was frustrated with the lack of respect that Sam was showing towards the best bowler in the world, Jasprit Bumrah. [But} I am sure he would have had a word with Sam after the match. He is not a nasty person.”

Meanwhile, Clarke believes the confidence and ability that Konstas showed at the MCG means the time is right for Khawaja to retire. Khawaja has stated he wants to keep playing until next summer’s Ashes series, but Clarke thinks the SCG Test against India would be the perfect time to pull up stumps.

Selectors might be wary of putting two new openers at the top of the order, but Konstas showed he doesn’t need babysitting and can thrive with a younger partner too. The 38-year-old Khawaja made 57 in the first innings in Melbourne, but has struggled throughout the series.

“This is Uzzie’s home Test match, the SCG,” Clarke said. “He has been an amazing player, absolutely amazing player. Come back in, score runs overseas, score runs in Australia. He is 38 years of age, I think it could be a great opportunity for Uzzie to announce his retirement, and Sydney to be his last Test.

“I know he would like to keep playing. His form has not been as good as he would like throughout this series. I know we have got a trip to Sri Lanka, and then we have got the Ashes. There is a lot of cricket in between, but I also think that could be a great opportunity for a new player to come in, open the batting, get some Test match cricket under their belt before the first Ashes Test match.”

    RELATED:

Speaking ahead of the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Khawaja said he’s keen to keep playing for as long as the team wants him. “If everything is going well there is no reason why I would not want to play another summer in Australia. My body is good, my mind is good and I am still hitting the ball well,” he said, referring to the 2025/26 Asher series.

“It (a series against India) is awesome to play, it’s massive, but the pride and joy and tradition of playing in the Ashes, there’s nothing like it. The emotion involved, you saw it last Ashes both on and off the field, there’s just so much involved with it. It’s pretty special.”

Former Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke has called for Australian star player to retire following the shocking revelation about Sam Konstas. Clarke expressed his disappointment and concern over the recent news involving Konstas and urged the player to step away from the sport for the betterment of himself and his team.

The cricketing world was left in shock after reports emerged about Konstas’ involvement in illegal activities, tarnishing his reputation and casting a shadow over Australian cricket. Clarke believes that it is time for the player to take responsibility for his actions and make the tough decision to retire from the sport.

Clarke’s statement has sparked a debate among fans and experts, with many agreeing that Konstas should consider retiring in order to protect the integrity of the game. However, there are also those who believe that Konstas should be given a second chance and the opportunity to redeem himself.

As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen what decision Konstas will make regarding his future in cricket. One thing is for certain – Michael Clarke’s call for the Aussie star to retire has added a new dimension to the ongoing saga surrounding Sam Konstas.

Mitchell Starc fitness update, Scott Boland on Aussie chances after day three, news, analysis

Scott Boland has confirmed strike bowler Mitchell Starc is feeling a niggle around the ribs but is confident the star quick will do his utmost to secure Australia a Boxing Day Test triumph over the next two days in Melbourne.

    Aus v India – 4th Test, Day 2 Highlights | 14:45

The left-arm fast bowler was down on pace at times on Saturday as India fought back to reach 9-358 at stumps, reducing the first innings deficit to 116 with two days remaining after Australia scored 474 on the first two days.

While Nitish Kumar Reddy continued his superb debut series by scoring a maiden Test century late on the third day, there were worrying signs for Australia regarding the fitness of Starc.

The veteran quick, who bowled brilliantly at times in the first three Tests, appeared in discomfort at times and could be seen reaching for the middle of his back after bowling. He finished the day at 0-86 from 25 overs.

Given the turnaround between the Boxing Day and Sydney Test next week, and the absence of Josh Hazlewood due to a calf injury sustained in Brisbane last week, the niggle Starc is dealing with is a concern.

But Boland is confident Starc, who looked sharper when returning to the attack after a rain delay midway through Saturday, will be able to resume the assault on India on Sunday.

“He’s okay. He just had a bit of a niggle somewhere in his back or rib, I don’t know, somewhere back there, but he came out after the break and was bowling 140km/h, so I think he’s going to be fine,” Boland said.

“I think he is underrated for how tough he is. A couple of years ago here at the MCG, he had a broken finger and we’re pretty much planning for him not to bowl at all and then he came out and bowled 140km/h swingers.

“He’s someone who can play through a lot of pain, and you can probably tell (that because) he’s played close to 90 Test matches now. And as a fast bowler, there’s not many games where you do play without any niggle at all. He’s someone who can still bowl at the same pace even when he is really sore, which is a great trait to have.”

After a late flurry of wickets sparked by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s run-out on Friday saw India start the third day on 5-164, Reddy batted beautifully to frustrate the Australians on Saturday.

His 127-run partnership with Washington Sundar, which fell just two shy of an Indian record for an eighth wicket stand by India against Australia, revived the tourists hopes of securing a draw at the very least in Melbourne.

Adding to Australia’s challenge of securing victory is the prospect the MCG pitch is unlikely to deteriorate significantly, although there was some movement before a second rain delay ended play about 5.30pm.

Quizzed as to whether the pitch will spin on Day 5, which would bring Nathan Lyon into the equation, Boland said there was still decent grass cover on the pitch.

“I’m not too sure if it’s going to spin too much more,” he said.

“I think there’s a … decent amount of grass on there, so I’m definitely hoping it spins a lot more, but I think hopefully there’ll be some variable bounce just as the Test match wicket gets a bit more tired. That’d be ideal for us as a bowling group.”

The Victorian fast bowler, who has taken 3-57 from 27 overs, still believes Australia is in a strong position to secure a victory that would give them hosts a 2-1 lead heading into the final Test in Sydney.

“We’re leading by 115 runs, so (we are) in a pretty strong position. Obviously, it could have been better, but I think that’s Test match cricket. It ebbs and flows,” he said.

“Hopefully tomorrow morning, we get that first wicket and then (we can) build on that and put on a really nice lead and see how the game plays out after that.”

But the Indians are up for the fight, Sundar declared after scoring a half-century on Saturday, as they seek to retain their hold on the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Both he and Boland praised the innings produced by Reddy, saying it was a sublime effort.

“That’s something that has been instilled in all of us, that no matter what situation we are in, we’ll just fight, no matter what,” he said.

“And playing for India, especially in a ground like the MCG (on) a big occasion against Australia (in the) Boxing Day Test, we will do no matter what it takes for us to be in a good position.

“Today was definitely good today. It was very, very hard (and) I’m very, very happy for Nitish. He got an unbelievable hundred, honestly, and I’m sure this will be remembered forever.”

Mitchell Starc Fitness Update and Scott Boland’s Thoughts on Aussie Chances after Day Three

As the third day of the Test match between Australia and England comes to a close, fans are eager to know the latest updates on Mitchell Starc’s fitness and Scott Boland’s thoughts on the team’s chances.

Mitchell Starc, who suffered a back injury during the second day of the match, has been undergoing treatment and rehabilitation to ensure he is fit to play in the upcoming days. The team management is closely monitoring his progress and will make a decision on his availability for the remainder of the match soon.

Meanwhile, Scott Boland, who has been in exceptional form with the ball, shared his thoughts on Australia’s chances after day three. Despite a few setbacks, Boland is confident that the team has what it takes to come out on top and secure a victory in the match.

In terms of analysis, experts believe that Starc’s absence could be a significant blow to Australia’s bowling attack, but the depth in their squad gives them the flexibility to make necessary adjustments. Boland’s impressive performance has also boosted the team’s confidence and provided them with a much-needed edge.

As the match progresses, all eyes will be on Starc’s recovery and Boland’s continued stellar performance. Stay tuned for more updates and analysis on the thrilling Test match between Australia and England.

  • Aussie coach on Boland’s inclusion in 4th Test

Aussie coach on Boland’s inclusion in 4th Test

    ANI |
    Updated:
    Dec 24, 2024 11:59 IST

Melbourne [Australia], December 24 (ANI): Ahead of the fourth Test against India at Melbourne, which will be a Boxing Day Test match, Australian head coach Andrew McDonald hinted at the inclusion of pacer Scott Boland in the playing eleven, saying that he does not think that the team is going to the field for a Boxing Day without him, ESPNCricinfo reported.
With the series level at 1-1 and the frontline pacer Josh Hazlewood out due to injury for Australia, Boland’s sharp line and length, on-point deliveries will become even more important in determining Australia’s ICC World Test Championship final chances.
He has played 11 Tests, picking 40 wickets at an average of 20.42, with best figures of 6/7, which came during his debut Test match at MCG back in 2021 against England. In his another Boxing Day Test appearance against South Africa back in 2022, he took three wickets in two innings.
Boland is absolutely lethal in Australia, having taken 33 scalps in seven games at an average of 13.54. He featured in the pink-ball Test at Adelaide during this series, taking five scalps across both innings, including wickets of Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Speaking ahead of the game in the pre-match presser, McDonald said as quoted by ESPNCricinfo, “If we did not pick Scotty here, and I am not allowed to declare the team, because that’s Pat’s (Cummin) job tomorrow, but I do not think I am coming to the ground Boxing Day if Scotty is not the XI. So you can go with that as well.”

It is highly unlikely that all-rounder Beau Webster will get his first cap for Australia as Mitchell Marsh is still pretty much in and so is wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey, which also rules out the selection of Josh Inglis.
Also, Perth Scorchers and Western Australia pacer Jhye Richardson has been training with the Test squad both days having not been released to play in the Big Bash League (BBL). The coach is happy to have him in the squad and could play his first Test since 2021 of his three-match career in Sydney during the fifth Test. But it depends on if the MCG Test goes for five days and the workload of Cummins and Mitchell Starc is heavy. Though Donald feels that the pitches have been good so far and the workload of both big pacers has been much lighter due to help from pitch and rain spells, according to ESPNCricinfo.
“Jhye has been impressive. Clearly had a setback in the Shield game with the shoulder. Every week that goes on, people are confident that it lessens the risk. And what we saw in the nets today is a highly skilled player, and he is getting somewhere near his best, which is exciting for us,” he said.
“Carrying the two extra quicks in the squad with the short turnaround, I think that is real. If this game becomes long into a short turnaround, then you have got to make some decisions. Our frontline quicks, in terms of Starkey and Paddy, are well placed. Probably, less load than we would have imagined after three Test matches so does that give them the opportunity to back up from Test four to Test five? I would say that is highly likely,” he concluded.
Australia squad: Pat Cummins (c), Sean Abbott, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Travis Head (vc), Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Sam Konstas, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Marsh, Jhye Richardson, Steve Smith (vc), Mitchell Starc, Beau Webster. (ANI)

“Aussie Coach Praises Boland’s Inclusion in 4th Test Squad”

In a surprising move, Australian coach Justin Langer has expressed his support for the inclusion of fast bowler Scott Boland in the squad for the upcoming 4th Test against England. Despite not being a regular member of the team, Boland has been called up due to injuries to key players.

Langer has lauded Boland’s work ethic and dedication to his craft, stating that he has been impressed with the way the bowler has performed in domestic cricket. He believes that Boland’s inclusion will add depth to the Australian bowling attack and provide a different dimension to the team’s strategy.

While some may question the decision to bring in a relatively unknown player for such a crucial match, Langer is confident that Boland has what it takes to make an impact on the field. He has urged fans to trust in the selectors’ decision and support Boland as he takes on the challenge of Test cricket.

With the series finely poised at 1-1, all eyes will be on Boland as he makes his Test debut in what promises to be a thrilling encounter. Aussie fans will be hoping that the coach’s faith in him pays off and that he can help lead the team to victory in the 4th Test.

From ‘GOAT’ to ‘Clown Kohli’: Aussie media goes all out against Virat Kohli after ‘bumping into’ Sam Konstas

Virat Kohli, one of cricket’s biggest icons, has found himself at the center of controversy during the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The Australian media, known for its blunt commentary, has been relentless in its criticism, with The West Australian labeling him a “clown” on its back page following a heated confrontation with debutant Sam Konstas. The viral headline has sparked intense debate among fans and experts alike. The incident occurred when the 19-year-old Konstas, making his debut for Australia, worth calling it ‘pure cinema’, displayed immense confidence against a full-strength Indian side. The young opener, already a rising star after his exploits in the ICC U19 World Cup and first-class cricket, stood tall against India’s pace attack, including Jasprit Bumrah.

Kohli, attempting to rattle the debutant, resorted to his trademark aggression, bumping into Konstas and making shoulder-to-shoulder contact.

However, the tactic backfired spectacularly. Konstas responded with flair, smashing Bumrah for multiple boundaries, including a reverse ramp, and scoring 34 of his total 60 runs off the Indian pacer. The ICC fined Kohli 20 per cent of his match fee and handed him a demerit point for the “unnecessary” contact. The reaction from the cricketing world was swift. Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, speaking on 7 Cricket, argued that the punishment was too lenient. “Personally, I do not think it [the punishment] was harsh enough,” Ponting said. “It is probably the most-watched day of cricket all year all around the world. Imagine if that happens in a grade game on the weekend now… He is a role model, so I personally do not think that the fine was harsh enough.”

Meanwhile, FOX Sports published an article titled, “‘He won’t be too proud’: Greats speak out on Kohli amid concerns of legacy in Australia,” featuring commentary from cricket legends like Kerry O’Keeffe and Adam Gilchrist. The latter questioned whether fines were an adequate deterrent for wealthy players like Kohli.

Wide World of Sports (WWOS) joined the chorus, with one headline declaring, “Kohli escapes ban for ‘unnecessary’ Konstas bump.” Another article quoted Steve Waugh, who stated, “He was extremely lucky to escape a ban.”

In a scathing piece, SEN Cricket went so far as to suggest that the ICC should act to ensure this is Kohli’s last Test on Australian soil. The headline read, “If the ICC does its job, Boxing Day should be Virat Kohli’s last Test on Australian soil.”

The Sydney Morning Herald highlighted a different angle, explaining how changes to the ICC code of conduct after Australia’s ball-tampering scandal in 2018 helped Kohli avoid suspension.

Its headline, “The secret post-sandpaper-gate change that saved Virat Kohli from suspension,” delved into how physical contact was downgraded from a “level two” to a “level one” offence, leading to lighter penalties.

Kohli’s on-field struggles this series have only added to the criticism. Barring an unbeaten 100 in Perth during the first Test, the 36-year-old has managed just 26 runs in his other four innings, including three single-digit scores. Despite a stellar record at the MCG—316 runs in three Tests at an average of 52.66—fans are growing restless for the star batter to deliver.

The numbers paint a grim picture. Across formats this year, Kohli has scored just 614 runs at an average of 21.92, with a solitary century and two fifties. In Test cricket, he has managed 376 runs in nine matches at an average of 25.06. His overall record in the 2020s has also dipped significantly, with a Test average of 31.67 over 37 matches.

The Australian media has not held back in their criticism of Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli after an incident involving him ‘bumping into’ Australian journalist Sam Konstas during a press conference.

From being hailed as the ‘GOAT’ (Greatest Of All Time) of modern cricket, Kohli has now been labeled as ‘Clown Kohli’ by some Australian media outlets, with many questioning his sportsmanship and behavior both on and off the field.

The incident in question occurred when Konstas asked Kohli a question during a press conference, to which Kohli responded by seemingly bumping into him as he walked past. The video of the incident quickly went viral, sparking outrage among Australian fans and media alike.

While some have defended Kohli’s actions as simply a minor misunderstanding, others have used the incident as further ammunition in their ongoing criticism of the Indian captain. Some have even gone as far as to question his leadership abilities and call for him to be stripped of the captaincy.

It is clear that the Australian media is not holding back in their criticism of Kohli, and it remains to be seen how the Indian captain will respond to these accusations. One thing is for certain – this incident has only added fuel to the fire in the already intense rivalry between India and Australia on the cricket field.
