CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Scott Bauchmoyer, of Avon, knew there was something wrong when he tried to start his 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Monday morning.
“I jumped in the car to start it up, and it just started sputtering. Lights started flashing, and there was a giant puff of white smoke,” Bauchmoyer said.
Bauchmoyer had his Jeep towed to the dealership, and he told 19 News he was shocked when the mechanic called to see when he had gotten gas last.
“In the back of my mind I thought to myself, ‘Oh God what happened?’“ Bauchmoyer said.
Bauchmoyer relayed that he had gotten gas Sunday morning from the Circle K at 36071 Chester Rd. in Avon.
The mechanic told Bauchmoyer there was diesel in his gas tank and fuel lines.
“My immediate reaction was no way. I’ve gotten gas, I’ve been driving for 26 years, I’ve gotten gas thousands of times. I couldn’t be that absent-minded,” Bauchmoyer said.
Bauchmoyer’s repairs cost him $1,100, plus the cost of renting a car and the tow. He says he wants to be made whole by Circle K.
He claims he contacted Circle K corporate, and they asked for detailed information, but he has not heard back.
Circle K has now confirmed to 19 News that diesel fuel was inadvertently delivered and pumped into the unleaded fuel storage tanks.
But it gets worse.
After seeing our story, 19 News took a call from the driver of a Ford F350, which runs on diesel.
Wanting to remain anonymous, he told us he was also at the same Circle K on Sunday to fill up, and now his truck is in the repair shop because it was filled with unleaded gas.
Circle K has confirmed this was a case of what’s known as a “cross drop,” where diesel was put into the unleaded storage tanks, and unleaded was put into the diesel storage tanks.
When we called the gas station itself, the manager told us they have no comment on the issue. They would not provide any information for corporate officials or the franchise owner and hung up the phone.
The Lorain County Weights and Measures Supervisor confirmed to 19 News he visited the Circle K, where they admitted to him they had a problem with their gas.
In the state of Ohio, Weights and Measures departments are only allowed to make sure the amount of gas coming out of the pump is accurate.
They are not allowed to test what’s in the gas itself, so the Lorain County supervisor could only speculate the Circle K was given a bad delivery.
The question now is how long was the bad gas dispensed?
Circles K claims it was just on Sunday, Jan. 19, and they are currently fielding claims from 14 customers.
We also spoke with Annie’s Auto in Avon which has already repaired one vehicle that apparently also filled up with the bad gas.
The mechanic in that case said it was a fairly simple repair of flushing out the gas tank, the lines, replacing spark plugs and running cleaner through the car.
That vehicle is running fine now. The cost of this repair, though, is about $1,200.
While that was a “simple repair,” running diesel in an engine could impact more parts, including a catalytic converter.
Repairs could cost $3,000 or more.

Recently, gas station customers in Northeast Ohio have been experiencing a costly problem – bad gas. Many customers have reported that after filling up at various gas stations in the area, their vehicles have experienced issues such as engine misfires, stalling, and even complete breakdowns. The problem has only gotten worse as more and more customers have come forward with similar complaints. Some customers have even had to shell out thousands of dollars in repairs to fix the damage caused by the contaminated fuel.
Authorities are currently investigating the source of the bad gas and are urging customers who have experienced issues to file a complaint. In the meantime, it’s recommended that customers be cautious when filling up their vehicles and double-check the quality of the gas they are purchasing.
It’s a frustrating situation for many Northeast Ohio residents who have been left stranded and out of pocket due to this gas station mishap. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

If you switched to Fubo because it was cheaper than YouTube TV, I’ve got bad news
Summary
- Fubo TV initially offered better value than YouTube TV with access to local sports at a lower price.
- A recent price increase by Fubo, making it more expensive than YouTube TV, eradicated this advantage.
- YouTube TV dominates the live TV services market with over 8 million subscribers compared to Fubo’s 1.6 million.
After YouTube TV raised its price to close out 2024, I started testing out new live TV services. The first one I checked out was Fubo TV, and I came away with a very positive impression. It gave me access to local sports, a cheaper price, and a UI that had a lot in common with YouTube TV, so the transition wasn’t difficult.
Some downsides are a lower quality with much of the content coming in at 720p compared to YouTube TV’s 1080p, but outside of that, the two services were largely the same. Coupled with the lower cost, Fubo was better value for a lot of people. However, that’s not the case any longer. Thanks to price hikes across all Fubo TV plans, the least-expensive package is now $85 per month (not including the regional sports fee), which makes the service now more expensive than YouTube TV. For a service that’s fighting to gain market share from its competitors, going up to a price higher than a service that’s arguably better for a lot of people isn’t the best way of doing it.

Fubo TV isn’t as cheap as it seems.
Fubo wiped out a major advantage
Self-inflicted wound
Fubo
I think one of the biggest advantages Fubo had over YouTube TV was the price. Even though it was by a small margin, it’s important to take wins where you can, and that was a place where it could definitively be used as a selling point. Unfortunately, it lasted for about a month. Another big thing working against Fubo was the lack of Turner networks like TBS and TNT, so the price was the main area that could secure a win for the platform.
There are still some nice features that Fubo offers, like a customizable multi-stream, but that’s more of a cherry on top instead of a clear selling point. With much of the content locked to 720p, price was the key factor and now the service doesn’t even have that. It’s a disappointing change for somebody who was hoping to save some cash.
Even when you broaden the horizons to other services, Fubo doesn’t really stack up anymore. Hulu + Live TV has a deal available for $83 that comes with not only a live TV plan, but subscriptions to Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. The reality is that Fubo doesn’t provide a whole lot that other services don’t, and it makes a service that’s already viewed as an underdog become an even bigger one. Since YouTube TV just went up in price, it’s difficult to imagine it happening again so soon, so this price advantage could remain for the remainder of the year.
Rising costs are a problem for all services, and Fubo is far from the only one who has taken this path. Earlier this month, Netflix announced another price hike that makes the already costly streamer even more expensive.
Try this trick to avoid the YouTube TV $10 price hike
See if you can save yourself from the YouTube TV price increase.
Fubo has a rocky road ahead
An uncertain future
The price change isn’t great news no matter how you slice it, but the company already has a complicated future. Earlier this month, Disney announced a purchase of the company, and it came as surprising news. Disney already has its own live TV service with Hulu, so adding another one to the umbrella is a head-scratcher.
The deal is still expected to take a year or so to actually go into effect, but it’s not clear what that means for both Hulu + Live TV and Fubo going further. Disney says the two services will remain independent of each other, so even when the deal closes you still have your pick between the two. You’d think the services would borrow from each other, like Hulu + Live TV adopting Fubo’s UI and multi-stream functionality, but it’s not clear if that’s going to be the case.
Speculation is fun to do and all, but there’s not a lot of sense in doing it this early considering how much can change. Ideally, I’d like to see the services take the best features from each other and become even better.
I compared YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV — here’s which one I’d ditch cable for
In the world of cable alternatives, Hulu and YouTube reign supreme, but one may be better for you.
YouTube TV needs a true challenger
Dominance isn’t good for anybody
Unsplash / Pocket-lint
For a myriad of reasons, YouTube TV reigns over all other live TV services. According to The Hollywood Reporter, YouTube TV boasts over eight million subscribers, while Hulu + Live TV lags far behind in second place with 4.6 million. Fubo, in comparison, has just 1.6 million. Even when you combine the two, they still come in way behind YouTube.
I can make a good argument that Hulu + Live TV is better value than YouTube TV thanks to the inclusion of all the streaming services for the same exact price, but it looks like I’d be in the minority based on the subscriber numbers. However, there’s a chance people don’t know the type of value Hulu offers, so there could be a marketing problem too. The reality is that YouTube TV does have challengers, but they haven’t been able to carve out a huge market share.
I’ll admit I stuck with YouTube TV for years without even looking into other options. I knew I wasn’t always getting the best deal, but I never thought much about it considering I was happy with the service. It wasn’t until the latest price increase that I finally took a step back to think about how little live TV I watched and how much I was paying for it.
The majority of the services cost around the same price, but there’s still one out there that comes in at a much lower price. That service is Sling TV, but it’s able to do so by completely dropping local channels like FOX, CBS, and ABC. You can soften the blow by picking up an antenna, something I actually did and enjoyed. The stream quality doesn’t match the heavy hitters, but if you’re looking for a cheaper way to watch live TV than what YouTube or Fubo offer, this is a good choice.
Anybody looking for something that has a similar UI to a regular cable subscription, has a wide selection of channels, and is easy to use, I hate to admit that it’s YouTube TV. This could change in the future, but YouTube TV, in my opinion, comes away the winner in that regard.
I wish I knew how terrible Fubo TV looked on a 4K TV before subscribing
Fubo TV has one major thing holding it back.
Hey there Fubo switchers, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you made the switch from YouTube TV to Fubo because of the cheaper price tag, you may be in for a surprise.Recently, Fubo announced that they will be increasing their prices for both new and existing customers. This means that the cost savings you were enjoying may no longer be there.
It’s always frustrating when prices go up, especially when you made a switch specifically for affordability. But unfortunately, it seems like Fubo is following in the footsteps of other streaming services and raising their prices.
So, if you switched to Fubo for the cheaper price, it may be time to reevaluate your options and see if there is a better deal out there for you. It’s always important to keep an eye on your budget and make sure you’re getting the best value for your money.
Let us know in the comments if you’re affected by this price increase and how you plan to handle it. And remember, there are always other streaming options out there if you need to make a change.

Good Ange is now Bad Postecoglou and caught in the Premier League doom spiral | Ange Postecoglou
Long before he began experimenting with the mind-expanding potential of psychedelic mushrooms, Timothy Leary was a psychologist. In 1957, he came up with the interpersonal behaviour circumplex, which sought to represent personality using two dimensions: power and love. While relationships on the power axis were oppositional – that is, dominance inspires submission and vice versa – on the love axis they are reflexive: hostility inspires hostility and cooperation inspires cooperation.
This was subsequently developed by Emily and Laurence Alison at the University of Liverpool. In their 2020 book Rapport, they use animals to express the four basic characteristics: a lion for control, a mouse for capitulation, a T-Rex for assertiveness and a monkey for cooperation. None of these are intrinsically good or bad: the lion could be inspiring and supportive, but he could also be patronising or dictatorial. And nor are many people represented by a single animal.
The Alisons drew up two wheels to represent the “good” and “bad” variants, each with eight sections representing personalities as being primarily one with a secondary element of another. Good Monkey with secondary Lion, for instance, is “social, warm, friendly”.
When Ange Postecoglou arrived at Tottenham, he seemed refreshingly normal. He acted confidently and was assertive. He was frank and forthright, all characteristics of Good T-Rex. But the Premier League is a tough zoo. It can break even the most apparently robust of managers. When a BBC reporter began his interview with Postecoglou after the 3-2 defeat to Everton with “A familiar story?”, he responded by snarling: “Great way to start an interview, mate.”
Tottenham have lost five of their past six league games and Postecoglou has previously seemed irritated at having to point out Spurs’ injury problems over and over again. If anything, to suggest the defeat at Everton was a “familiar story” was underplaying it: this was far worse.
The Dr Tottenham phenomenon is well known – Spurs have long been a tonic for sides down on their luck – but even by their standards, this was extraordinary: by half-time, Everton had improved their goals tally for the season by 20%, Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored his first goal in four months and Goodison was rocking like Howard Kendall was back with Paul Bracewell running the midfield.
Few will worry too much about a manager snapping at a journalist but what is more significant is what it reveals about Postecoglou’s mindset – particularly if he is reacting in a similar way to players. Being sarcastic, punitive, attacking and unfriendly, the Alisons tell us, is characteristic of Bad T-Rex with secondary Mouse. In fact, Postecoglou ticks almost all the Bad T-Rex boxes. He’s become irritable, distrustful and resentful which is Bad Mouse with some T-Rex. And he’s always been dogmatic and demanding, represented by Bad Lion with some T-Rex.
What then has changed? Why has the Good T-Rex of 18 months ago gone bad today? “It’s the way of the world,” as Blackadder explains to Baldrick in the BBC series. “The abused always kick downwards. I am annoyed so I kick the cat. The cat pounces on the mouse … and finally the mouse bites you on the behind.” Postecoglou is under pressure, his skin perhaps not as thick as it initially seemed, and this current irascible incarnation is what happens when flaws and foibles are exposed by the Premier League machine.
It’s only fair, of course, to outline once again how the club have let Postecoglou down. The squad is short – inexcusably so given wages to turnover ratio is the lowest in the league at 47%. Fraser Forster is not compatible with Postecoglou’s preferred style; that he was the back up for Guglielmo Vicario is almost negligent and the result is a 21-year-old being signed and thrown immediately into first-team action. To lose all three frontline centre-backs at once was unfortunate but to have only three has left Spurs open to that sort of bad luck. How is the inexperienced right-back Djed Spence the first-choice back-up at left-back?
The limitations of Tottenham’s squad have been exposed by a glut of injury problems. Photograph: Dylan Martinez/Reuters Add in that Tottenham’s policy is to sign for the future and they ended up at Everton with six teenagers on the bench and another two on the pitch. In that context, a certain inconsistency is only to be expected. The problem is that Spurs now seem to have slipped beyond that; a little inconsistency, in fact, would be welcome in the face of relentless league defeats. They shouldn’t be in a relegation battle but if they lose on Sunday to Leicester, who have lost seven in a row, maybe it’s not impossible they do slide into the mire, particularly given Postecoglou’s alarming slip into Bad T-Rex territory.
This is the greatness of the Premier League, but it is also its horror. It’s like a tale from the One Thousand and One Nights: complete the quest and great glory and the princess’s hand in marriage awaits, but for those who fail the consequences are severe. The Premier League is the richest, toughest league in the world. Every game is a test. Every aspect of a manager is constantly challenged. Stand still and you go backwards.
Postecoglou isn’t alone in giving the impression of being unnerved by the remorseless nature of the Premier League. Ruben Amorim is already making highly provocative comments about just how bad his Manchester United team appears to be.
Whether dogmatism is appropriate in any aspect of management in a league that demands constant evolution can be debated – particularly, perhaps, when the dogma in question feels like a breezy version of the hegemonic style of a decade ago – and there can be little doubt about the limitations of Tottenham’s squad. But the issue Postecoglou faces now seems more fundamental and could conceivably lead to his exit before the end of the season. Beaten down by the Premier League, he is lashing out, hostility generating hostility to create a doom spiral.
Once locked in that loop, it’s very difficult to get out. It’s easy to say a little cooperation, a little flexibility, might break the cycle, far harder to make it happen, particularly for somebody of T-Rex personality type with lion tendencies. More achievable, perhaps, is to find a way back from Bad T-Rex to Good, to replace sarcasm and argumentativeness with confidence and assertiveness. You don’t have to have eaten Leary’s mushrooms to realise grouchy dinosaurs rarely prosper.
Ange Postecoglou, once hailed as the “Good Ange” for his success with the Australian national team and Celtic FC, has now found himself in the midst of a Premier League nightmare. The former Socceroos coach took over as manager of Crystal Palace in the summer, but his reign has quickly turned sour.Initially, there was optimism surrounding Postecoglou’s appointment, as he brought his attacking style of play and reputation for developing young players to the London club. However, Palace’s form has been abysmal under his leadership, with the team struggling near the bottom of the table and facing a real threat of relegation.
The once-respected manager has been criticized for his tactics, team selections, and inability to adapt to the demands of the Premier League. Fans and pundits alike have questioned whether Postecoglou is out of his depth in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.
It’s a far cry from the success he enjoyed at Celtic, where he won the Scottish Premiership and guided the team to an unbeaten domestic season. Now, Postecoglou finds himself embroiled in a battle to keep Palace in the top flight, with his reputation on the line.
As the pressure mounts and the losses continue to pile up, the “Good Ange” has seemingly transformed into the “Bad Postecoglou.” The once-promising manager is now caught in the Premier League doom spiral, with his future at Palace hanging by a thread. Only time will tell if he can turn things around and salvage his reputation in English football.

The Marvel Rivals scoreboard is very misleading with its information. It shows total eliminations, deaths, assists, damage dealt, healing, and damage blocked. However, no breakdown exists of when these numbers occurred or how they impacted the match results. What if someone performed amazingly during one Domination round but didn’t perform well for the other two? Or what if a kill streak did nothing to stop the convoy’s advance? The game comes down to each fight and how it pushes the objective.
It is even more important to assess performance now that everyone was de-ranked seven levels for season one. This means some higher-skilled players are being paired with first-timers. Depending on the outcome, this could result in lots of competitive matches that are full carries or stomps. Players don’t want to have the wrong impression just because they earned certain medals in Marvel Rivals.
The Scoreboard Doesn’t Factor In Cooldowns Or Ultimate Usage
Fair Fights Are Often Rare
Among the most deceptive parts of the scoreboard is that it does not show the source of anyone’s actions in Marvel Rivals. Was this high healing amount from careful aiming or heavy reliance on abilities that hit multiple teammates? Did the team’s Punisher get their eliminations by just sitting back in a turret and never engaging with their shotgun? Maybe the team won simply because everyone came in with their powerful ultimate abilities in close succession.
On the other hand, was the enemy already at a disadvantage? The rival Moon Knight might have burned all of their attacks trying to ambush a lone Strategist, only to quickly get picked off by the Hulk that happened to be walking by. In most cases, keeping the team relatively close together is preferred, as the enemy has multiple targets. When outnumbered, try to retreat and regroup if players are at a three or greater player disadvantage.

Marvel Rivals: Please Stop Using Competitive Matches For Missions And Achievements
You should treat competitive mode seriously in Marvel Rivals. Entering a match just for currency rewards wastes everyone’s time, including your own.
Abilities aren’t everything in Marvel Rivals, though. Players can still win a team fight with regular attacks and even use the quick melee to bypass defenses. These take more aim, skill, and knowledge of certain characters. Certain characters are more mid to short-range, even if they use a gun. If the initial reticle is significant, that character wants to fight up close, such as Rocket Raccoon with his primary fire.
Your Stats Are Irrelevant If They Didn’t Help The Objective
It Is Easy To Pad Your Scores
Many players will feel confident seeing that they dealt or blocked the most damage. But, who they were attacking will be a big factor. Players can shoot the enemy Peni Parker all day as she stands in her webs auto-healing, but it means nothing unless one destroys her nest in Marvel Rivals and actually eliminate her. Bitter players may use low numbers to belittle their teammates or opponents when these stats might actually have been what won the match.
Marvel Rivals is an objective-based game, and the most important factor is whether a player’s actions set up their team to win or strongly disrupt the enemy. Having staggered deaths that misaligned respawns can cause a match to spiral out of control and is often better than getting a six-man wipe, the coveted Ace elimination. In some rare cases, purposely dying to meet back up with the team is the correct choice.
The team Vanguard might need to sacrifice themselves if it means fully stopping the enemy. Cooldowns like Groot’s walls and Magneto’s shields can delay a full team for upwards of 10 seconds if spaced correctly. A player’s death could be enough to allow a teammate to follow up and crush the opposition.
High damage might not even matter if it occurred far beyond the objective. This often happens on Convergence maps in Marvel Rivals, where the defenders get greedy, overextending, and attempting to spawn camp. All the while, an invisible Psylocke or Loki manages to steal the point uncontested.
Match Replays Can Show How Impactful Your Positioning And Timing Was
You Can View When And Where Your Actions Mattered
Staring at the scoreboard either during or after a match is a waste of time in Marvel Rivals. Instead, one should watch the match replay fully to see where they did well, what mistakes were made, and how they can improve in the next match. Even more important is that players can see how their allies and the enemy also performed and will learn from their actions.
The replay includes the entire timeline and showcases the specific times when people were eliminated. Players can also switch to different people’s points of view or zoom out to see the entire map from overhead. Most importantly, one can see players’ cooldowns while watching their perspective.
Some important factors include line of sight for healers and against the enemy. Did players duck behind the cover but also made themselves available to be seen by the team’s Strategist? Daredevil Could Be Added To Marvel Rivals Sooner Than You Think
Marvel Rivals should cross-promote Daredevil: Born Again. This could include playable heroes, skins, or events. Easter Eggs are already in the game.
Players should also see who was overextended and nowhere near their allies. This can work for certain diving characters like Venom in Marvel Rivals and Captain America, who want to attack the enemy backline and then get out. But, if they have no escape plan, going too far is a death sentence.
Figuring out the flaws in the game plan is the first step to being a better Marvel Rivals player. Replay mode is an excellent means of understanding specific maps and what to do in a given situation. Players can reduce their reaction time and use the proper ability with practice. Even if they wind up with a few clueless teammates, players can help elevate the team with their knowledge. In the world of sports, the scoreboard is often seen as the ultimate measure of success. It’s what fans and players alike look to in order to see who is winning, who is losing, and by how much. However, relying solely on the scoreboard can sometimes create bad habits among both athletes and fans. For athletes, constantly checking the scoreboard can lead to a lack of focus on the game itself. Instead of playing to the best of their abilities, they may become more concerned with the numbers on the board. This can lead to mistakes, missed opportunities, and ultimately, a loss.
On the other hand, for fans, a focus on the scoreboard can create a narrow view of the game. Instead of appreciating the nuances and strategies at play, they may only see the final score. This can lead to a lack of understanding of the game and a diminished overall enjoyment.
But there is a solution to this reliance on the scoreboard: replays. By utilizing replays, athletes can review their performance and make adjustments without constantly checking the scoreboard. Fans can also benefit from replays, as they can see the game from multiple angles and gain a deeper understanding of the action.
So next time you find yourself fixated on the scoreboard, remember that there are better ways to assess and appreciate the game. Replays can help athletes improve and fans enjoy the game to its fullest. Let’s break the habit of scoreboard obsession and embrace the power of replays.
