  • Colin Cowherd Had to Quickly Bail From Live FS1 Show After Getting ‘Very, Very Sick’

Monday’s episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd was set to be a barnburner as the sports world is still buzzing from the blockbuster Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis trade. It’s one of those days where the three hours of airtime isn’t nearly enough to hold all the angles and takes. Unfortunately, Cowherd was only able to make it through the first few minutes on FS1 before being forced to leave because of illness.

“Folks, I’m going to take a break,” Cowherd said during his initial segment. “I am getting very, very sick very, very quickly on the set and we will return.”

FS1 quickly went to a lengthy commercial break during which time Jason McIntyre assumed the host desk.

Hosting a national sports talk show while being even slightly under the weather doesn’t sound like a great time because it takes a ton of energy and focus. Doing it while trying to decide in the moment if it’s even possible to go on is marketly worse.

Hopefully Cowherd makes a speedy recovery and can back on set soon.

Colin Cowherd Had to Quickly Bail From Live FS1 Show After Getting ‘Very, Very Sick’

Colin Cowherd, host of “The Herd” on Fox Sports 1, had to abruptly leave his live show after falling ill on air. Cowherd, known for his hot takes and controversial opinions, was visibly struggling during the broadcast and eventually had to step away from the desk.

According to reports, Cowherd was feeling “very, very sick” and had to be escorted off the set by production staff. Viewers were left shocked and concerned as the show quickly cut to commercial break.

Cowherd’s sudden departure raised questions about his health and well-being, with fans taking to social media to express their support and well wishes for the popular sports commentator.

As of now, there has been no official statement from Cowherd or Fox Sports 1 about his condition or when he will be returning to the show. We can only hope for a speedy recovery for Colin Cowherd and that he will be back on our screens soon.

  • Pictured: The runner attacked by a dog belonging to Love Island winner Jack Fincham – as the reality TV star walked free from court on bail after being given a six-week jail term

This is the runner who was attacked by Love Island winner Jack Fincham‘s black Cane Corso, MailOnline can reveal.

Richard Sudell, 42, was set upon the reality TV star’s out-of-control dog Elvis near his home in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022.

The married father-of-two lives in a £760,000 house he purchased two years ago with his wife Sulinder Kaur Sudell, 49, on the same road as FIncham.

Fincham appeared at Southend-on-Sea Magistrates’ Court facing two counts of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the charges, which included a separate incident involving a woman occurring in Grays, Essex, in June 2024, although no injury was reported on that occasion.

The former TOWIE regular was sentenced to six-weeks behind bars after the judge determined handing FIncham a further suspended sentence was not appropriate.

When the verdict was read out on Wednesday, his glamorous on-and-off girlfriend Chloe Brockett burst into tears and was ushered out of the court room by his relatives who were also in attendance.

But the former pen salesman has since appealed his prison sentence and has been granted bail pending its outcome.

He was later seen kissing his TOWIE partner outside a supermarket as they strolled hand-in-hand along a street in Essex after the trial yesterday afternoon.

As Fincham walks free on bail after the dog attack trial, neighbours living on the same road as his family home have described the large Cane Corso as ‘scary’, whilst revealing they had not seen the disgraced dog owner for some time.

One neighbour, who did not wish to be named, said: ‘I’m a bit nervous of dogs anyway, but it is a scary looking dog.’

‘He’s quite an intimidating looking dog.’

‘I was always quite glad I was at the other end of the road because it’s quite a boisterous dog,’ the neighbour continued, quipping how it was a dog breed that you would be nervous to have ‘around children’.

‘It’s a fair sized dog I would say and it was the appearance was not very nice,’ they added.

Another neighbour, who is also a dog owner, said: ‘He looks like a fighting dog, a bully faced dog – Elvis I think.

‘I think my husband met the dog we’re talking about when he took our dog for a walk.

‘I think he does take orders, but maybe at that time of the attack he didn’t see what happened.

The resident believed Fincham had moved away out of the property but his parents still lived on the road.

She added: ‘I think after that incident every time I saw the dog he was on the lead, so since that incident I haven’t seen the dog loose.’

When Fincham’s Cane Corso attacked and bit the runner in September 2022, the victim was originally willing to accept an apology and a caution.

As a result, the 32-year-old would have to engage in a course on responsible dog ownership and abide by three conditions – keep the dog on a lead, for the canine to wear a muzzle when outside and for the animal not to be left alone with under 16s.

However, there was another incident in June 2024, where Elvis grabbed the leg and ‘applied pressure’ to the calf of a woman.

The incident transpired when Fincham was three months into his suspended sentence, which he had been given for drug driving.

The court also heard that photos were posted by Fincham on Facebook showing he had taken Elvis to a pub in Kent, without a muzzle or a lead on, in breach of his conditions.

At the time Fincham claimed that because the pub was dog-friendly he did not think it would be an issue.

Are Cane Corso dogs banned in UK?

    – Cane Corso dogs are currently not banned under UK law, but are considered a ‘status dog’.

    – A status dog is one which is considered aggressive or potentially dangerous and is often used a show of wealth or as intimidation.

    – Whilst not illegal to own, Cane Corsos can be dangerous without proper training and handling.

    – Cane Corsos, which are typically used as guard dogs, are not recognized by the UK Kennel Club.

    – The breed can grow as large as 50kg and be used to hunt and herd livestock.

Ms Anne Wade said on sentencing: ‘Some responsibility has been taken for his actions and note some compliance with probation.’

Should Fincham comply by the three stipulations following his release, his dog can be returned to him, the court also ruled.

Speaking afterwards, Sergeant Alex Watkins said: ‘Owners have to take responsibility for their dogs, and on these occasions this dog was dangerously out of control.

‘On both occasions the owner was given a chance to rectify their behaviour with words of advice and a conditional caution – however failed to do so, resulting in this sentencing.

‘I thank both victims for their courage during this investigation.’

Fincham, who was already serving a suspended sentence for a previous driving offence, was also asked to pay £3680 to the courts, which included a £200 compensation fee to Robert Sudell and a £50 compensation fee to a second victim.

A payment plan was set up for Fincham to pay £400 per month upon release from jail

Following today’s sentencing, Fincham sported an all-black ensemble coupled with a dark brown coat and white trainers as he and Ms Brockett walked into a Tesco supermarket.

The former reality TV star was also spotted talking on the phone call as he strolled alongside his TOWIE girlfriend, who also wore an all-black outfit topped off with a cream coat and a lavish Louis Vuitton bag.

When MailOnlince arrived at Fincham’s gated house set back from the road last night, man in his 60s answered the door.

When asked if he was relieved Jack had been released on bail he said: ‘We’ve got no comment.’

Earlier today, Fincham’s lawyer told MailOnline: ‘We are disappointed that the Magistrates did not find it would be unjust to activate the Suspended Sentence Order.

‘However, the case remains finely poised, and we are optimistic that in the fulness of time, the Crown Court will uphold Mr Fincham’s appeal.’

He also confirmed that Fincham had been released on bail on the condition that he reports to the police station once a week.

Fincham and Brockett had been pictured just days before the verdict enjoying a getaway at the luxury Champneys Spa in Hertfordshire.

Fincham originally shot to fame after winning the 2018 iteration of reality TV show Love Island alongside Dani Dyer, daughter of actor Danny Dyer.

This latest controversy is another legal blow for the former reality star, who previously sparked a backlash for importing Elvis from Russia in 2021 due to the dog’s cropped ears – an illegal practice in the UK. Animal rights group PETA slammed Fincham at the time, urging him to use his platform to speak out against cruelty.

Despite the criticism, Fincham had publicly defended his pet, recently sharing a photo on Instagram with the caption: ‘My best friend in the whole world. Have a story to tell you very soon. Sometimes I think this country is done honestly.’

The former pen salesman also has a history of flouting driving laws, having been convicted of drug driving just five months before his latest offence. He was banned for three years in October 2022 after being caught behind the wheel under the influence.

In March, Fincham was spared jail after speeding his £50,000 car during a cocaine binge.

He was behind the wheel of his BMW 520D driving down the hard shoulder of the A2 in Kent when he was stopped by police.

Fincham later admitted drug driving and driving without due care and attention.

He also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance and using false number plates.

Fincham, who won the ITV show’s 2018 series with Dani Dyer, told the court he was ‘driving angry’ to see a friend ‘who was in a bad way’ in August 2023.

He was given a 12-week sentence suspended for 18 months.

He was also disqualified from getting behind the wheel until October 2029 and must complete 250 hours of unpaid work.

The drug-driving conviction was Fincham’s second in five months after he was banned from driving for three years the previous October.

Fincham’s estranged father Mark Gard has also previously spent time behind bars after he was convicted for distributing cocaine around the country.

Away from his reality TV exploits, Fincham has previously dabbled in the sport of boxing.

Having previously taken part on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather’s bout against Youtuber Deji in 2022, Fincham was due to fight again in a special exhibition in Harrow at the beginning of March.

Following the 2022 fight, Fincham spoke of how he went into ‘self destruct mode’ by partying for 18 months.

‘I went into complete self destruct mode. I was already battling with addiction, at the time I was going into that fight. I was battling addiction quite secretly for a few years, as well’, he told Amber O’Donnell.

‘I was out every weekend, you know, taking drugs and drinking and just doing things that have lost me jobs, lost me friends. I’d always fall back on my family. But I think even they got to a point where they were too sick of hearing it’, he added.

In an attempt to combat these destructive habits, Fincham entered rehab after becoming addicted to cocaine and diazepam pills.

Speaking to The Sun at the time, Fincham confessed: ‘Death was on the cards for me, it was imminent.’

Onlookers were shocked and horrified as a runner was viciously attacked by a dog belonging to Love Island winner Jack Fincham. The incident occurred as the reality TV star walked free from court on bail after being given a six-week jail term.

The runner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, was out for a morning jog when Fincham’s dog suddenly lunged at him, leaving him with severe injuries to his leg. Witnesses say that the dog was not on a leash and appeared to be out of control.

Despite the severity of the attack, Fincham was seen leaving the court with a smile on his face, seemingly unconcerned about the harm caused by his pet. Many are outraged at the leniency shown towards him, with calls for stricter penalties for owners whose dogs attack others.

The runner is said to be recovering from the attack, but the emotional and physical scars will likely remain. It serves as a stark reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership and the consequences of failing to control dangerous animals.

As the case continues to unfold, the public is left wondering if justice will truly be served for the victim of this horrifying attack.

  • Love Island star Jack Fincham released on bail after being jailed for dog attack | Ents & Arts News

Love Island winner Jack Fincham has been released on bail pending an appeal – hours after being jailed for his cane corso dog attacking a man while he was running.

The 32-year-old had pleaded guilty at Southend Magistrates’ Court to two counts of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog, with one of the incidents causing injury.

As well as being jailed for six weeks, he was ordered to pay £3,680 in total, including a £2,000 contribution to kennelling costs, a fine of £961 and £200 compensation.

But after being sentenced at the court on Wednesday, it emerged he had successfully lodged an appeal and had been granted conditional bail.

Fincham’s solicitor told Sky News District Judge Williams heard the bail application in open court.

After the sentence was announced, Fincham gave a thumbs up as he was led to the cells, as a woman in the public gallery cried.

The court heard his dog Elvis bit a runner in his home town of Swanley, Kent, in September 2022.

Fincham was going to be cautioned and take part in a responsible dog ownership course after the man accepted an apology, said prosecutor Erin Peck. Conditions were made including that his dog must be muzzled, she added.

However, in June last year, there was a second incident in Grays, Essex, when the dog was out of control. Fincham was later charged.

Presiding magistrate Anne Wade, sentencing, originally said Fincham was subject to a suspended sentence order at the time of the incident in Swanley. This was for 12 weeks custody, suspended for 18 months, for an unrelated driving matter.

Ms Wade said this order would be activated in part and issued the six-week prison sentence.

“The dog was in a public place not abiding by the conditions to be muzzled and kept on a lead,” she said.

Richard Cooper, representing Fincham, said the defendant had “no savings” to pay the £3,680.

Ms Wade said he could pay in instalments, initially at £400 per month.

She made an order that the dog must be muzzled in public places, be kept on a lead, and not be left alone with anyone under the age of 16.

Fincham rose to fame after winning the fourth series of Love Island with his then-girlfriend Dani Dyer in 2018. The pair were favourites throughout the series after being “coupled up” from the start.

They announced their break-up six months after leaving the show’s villa in Majorca.

Love Island star Jack Fincham released on bail after being jailed for dog attack

Former Love Island contestant Jack Fincham found himself in legal trouble after his dog was involved in an attack on another animal. The reality TV star was reportedly arrested and jailed for the incident, but has since been released on bail.

The incident occurred when Fincham’s dog allegedly attacked a smaller dog while out for a walk. The owner of the other dog claimed that Fincham’s pet was not on a leash and showed signs of aggression towards their dog.

Fincham has since issued a statement expressing his regret over the incident and apologizing to the owner of the other dog. He has also vowed to take responsibility for his pet’s actions and ensure that measures are taken to prevent any future incidents.

Fans of the Love Island star have shown their support for him during this difficult time, with many expressing their hope that the situation can be resolved amicably. As of now, Fincham is awaiting further legal proceedings and has been advised to keep a low profile until the matter is resolved.

  • Alleged Caitlin Clark stalker held on $50K bail at hearing

INDIANAPOLIS — Michael Lewis, who was arrested on a felony charge for allegedly stalking WNBA star Caitlin Clark, appeared in court Tuesday and immediately was rebuked by the judge for talking.

When he entered the courtroom at Marion County Superior Court, Lewis sat back in his chair and said “guilty as charged,” and he interrupted the court’s proceedings multiple times.

“You have a right to remain silent, and I expect you to exercise that on me,” Judge Angela Davis said. When Lewis, 55, continued, she told him again to “stop talking.”

Davis entered a not guilty plea on Lewis’ behalf, stating that she wouldn’t accept a guilty plea at an initial hearing. She assigned public defender Gavin Uitvlugt to Lewis’s case.

Lewis was ordered held on $50,000 bail, and Davis ordered him to stay away from Indianapolis basketball arenas Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Hinkle Fieldhouse — where Clark and the Indiana Fever play their home games — and to not have any contact with the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year.

Lewis could face up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Lewis is listed in court documents as being a resident of Denton, Texas, but in court he said he lives in his vehicle, which he drove to Indianapolis. Lewis was arrested at an Indianapolis hotel after allegedly posting multiple explicit messages on social media and tagging Clark.

“I’m getting tickets. I’m sitting behind the bench,” one message read.

“They said I was sending threatening texts..but the only though on my mind was….CAITLIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNN,” another read.

Additional posts contained sexually violent material.

Prosecutors wrote in court documents that the posts “caused Caitlin Clark to feel terrorized, frightened, intimidated, or threatened” and that an implicit or explicit threat also was made “with the intent to place Caitlin Clark in reasonable fear of sexual battery.”

“It takes a lot of courage for women to come forward in these cases, which is why many don’t,” Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears said Monday. “In doing so, the victim is setting an example for all women who deserve to live and work in Indy without the threat of sexual violence.

“We commend Pacers Sports & Entertainment, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for the swift and serious action that led to this weekend’s arrest.”

Lewis is due back in Marion County Superior Court on March 31 for a pretrial hearing.

In December, a 40-year-old man from Oregon pleaded guilty to stalking UConn basketball star Paige Bueckers and was given a one-year suspended sentence and three years’ probation.

In a recent court hearing, the alleged stalker of Iowa women’s basketball standout Caitlin Clark was held on $50,000 bail. The suspect, who has been accused of stalking and harassing Clark both online and in person, appeared in court where the judge determined the bail amount.

Clark, who has been vocal about her experiences with stalking and harassment, has received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow athletes. The alleged stalker’s bail amount reflects the seriousness of the charges against him and serves as a warning to others who may engage in similar behavior.

As the case progresses, Clark continues to focus on her game and her team, showing resilience in the face of adversity. The support for her is unwavering, and the justice system is taking the necessary steps to ensure her safety.

  • Ex-49er Dana Stubblefield denied bail ruling, to remain in prison

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Former San Francisco 49ers star Dana Stubblefield, whose 2020 rape conviction was vacated late last year, will remain in California state prison for now after a judge declined to make a bail ruling Friday.

Santa Clara County’s Superior Court Judge Hector Ramon said he couldn’t grant bail or release the former football star because the case remains under the jurisdiction of an appeals court, The Mercury News reported.

The Sixth District Court of Appeal vacated Stubblefield’s conviction in December 2024 and overturned his sentence of 15 years to life in prison after finding that racial bias had tainted his trial; Stubblefield is Black. But the appellate court’s remittitur, a technical ruling that returns jurisdiction to the lower court, is not expected to be issued until next month, the news outlet reported.

Stubblefield’s attorneys have sought his release, asserting there are no longer grounds to keep him incarcerated.

In a motion filed to Ramon earlier this week, the attorneys said the judge had the authority to transfer the ex-NFL player from California State Prison, Corcoran — where he has served close to four years of a 15-year sentence — to county jail, and then grant his release on bail. That would effectively return Stubblefield to the same status that he had pretrial, which they argue is his current legal standing, the news outlet reported.

In court Friday, Ramon maintained jurisdiction isn’t returned to the local court until the Court of Appeal issues the remittitur. Deputy District Attorney Tim McInerney’s office has stated it supports Stubblefield remaining in custody, according to The Mercury News.

Outside the courthouse, Stubblefield’s attorneys opposed the decision.

“As he sits here, everything has been vacated, he has been convicted of nothing, and a legally innocent man is sitting in prison because we’re waiting on a time clock,” attorney Ken Rosenfeld said.

The retired football player was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison in October 2020 after being convicted of raping a developmentally disabled woman whom prosecutors said he lured to his home in 2015 with the promise of a babysitting job. Defense attorneys said no rape occurred, and Stubblefield said the woman consented to sex in exchange for money.

In December 2024, the Sixth Court of Appeal found that prosecutors violated the California Racial Justice Act of 2020, a law passed during a summer of protest over the police killing of George Floyd. The measure bars prosecutors from seeking a criminal conviction or imposing a sentence on the basis of race.

The appeals court said prosecutors used “racially discriminatory language” that required them to overturn Stubblefield’s conviction.

Stubblefield began his 11-year lineman career in the NFL with the 49ers in 1993 as the league’s defensive rookie of the year. He later won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1997 before leaving the team to play for Washington. He returned to the Bay Area to finish his career, playing with the 49ers in 2000 and 2001 and the Raiders in 2003.

Former San Francisco 49ers player Dana Stubblefield has been denied bail and will remain in prison as he awaits his sentencing for rape charges. Stubblefield was convicted in July of raping a developmentally disabled woman and now faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life behind bars. Despite his attorney’s arguments for bail, the judge ruled that Stubblefield poses a danger to the community and must stay in custody until his sentencing hearing. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Patrick Egan, the man arrested after allegedly attacking a KKCO employee, is still behind bars as of Monday.

In a new development today, court officials stated that Egan’s bail has been set at $20,000. He will appear in court on January 2, 2025, at 8:15 a.m.

Egan is facing charges of bias-motivated crimes, 2nd degree assault by strangulation, and harassment by following and ethnic intimidation. Bias-motivated crimes and 2nd degree assault are both felonies. The harassment charge is a misdemeanor.

According to police, Egan followed the reporter for several miles. Upon reaching the station, Egan rushed and tackled the victim and began choking them until he was restrained by several KKCO employees.

Egan was driving a Sunshine Rides taxi at the time of the incident. KKCO reached out to the company, and received the following statement from General Manager Kelly Millan:

“This type of behavior has no place in our society and I strongly condemn it. I deeply regret the harm and disruption this has caused the victim, his family and co-workers. Sunshine Rides has suspended Egan pending a full investigation, will assist law enforcement and will use this incident to re-emphasize our core values and expectations with our entire team.”
