WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) — At least one person was injured after a fire broke out in a building in Brooklyn
It started on 335 Graham Avenue between Metropolitan Ave. and Devoe St. in Williamsburg around 10:30 p.m.
The building appears to have a pharmacy on the bottom floor and apartments on the upper floors.
There is no word on how the flames started.
The fire remains under investigation.

“Happy Birthday Chifundo-AKA-Mercy James! You are such a special soul,” she wrote. “When I met you, you were a tiny baby, underneath a mosquito net in an orphanage in Malawi. You were very sick with Malaria but you pulled through. I whispered in your ear that I would do my best to give you a home as soon as possible.”

In her message, the songstress recalled the four-and-a-half-year battle she went through to bring Mercy home.
“4 1/2 years later after battling with the Supreme Court in Malawi because they did not allow divorced women to adopt children. You came to live with us,” she continued. “You arrived with your hand in your mouth silent and refusing to speak. Who knew that you would grow up to be the kindest person with the biggest heart and the most infectious laugh.”
She ended the sweet message with appreciative words for her daughter, calling her a “talented musician,” “accomplished photographer” and “the most sensible of all my children.”
“You are the one that everyone goes to for advice, or a shoulder to cry on,” she said. “You hold a special place in the heart of everyone that knows you. Especially me. .”

The songstress later welcomed son David, 19, daughter Mercy, and twin daughters Stella and Estere, 12, through adoption.

Baldoni, Wayfarer, Heath, Sarowitz, Nathan, TAG, Abel, RWA Communications, Wallace and Street Relations filed a lawsuit against The New York Times Dec. 31.
In the lawsuit obtained by E! News, The New York Times is accused of libel, false light invasion of privacy, promissory fraud and breach of implied-in-fact contract for its article about a retaliatory smear campaign the plaintiffs allegedly conducted against Lively after she voiced concerns about purported misconduct on set.
Saying the report was “false” and based on Lively’s CRD complaint, the plaintiffs denied the accusations and alleged messages cited in the article and complaint were taken out of context.
“Despite its claim to have ‘reviewed these along with other documents[,]’ the Times relied almost entirely on Lively’s unverified and self-serving narrative,” the lawsuit says, “lifting it nearly verbatim while disregarding an abundance of evidence that contradicted her claims and exposed her true motives.”
They also allege “it was Lively, not Plaintiffs, who engaged in a calculated smear campaign.” She has denied this.
The New York Times said it plans to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit.”
“The role of an independent news organization is to follow the facts where they lead,” it stated to E!. “Our story was meticulously and responsibly reported. It was based on a review of thousands of pages of original documents, including the text messages and emails that we quote accurately and at length in the article.”

Women’s doubles: Top seeds battle back to make decider
Despite taking it all in her stride, Townsend is still humbled by her recent doubles successes after over a decade on tour.
“It’s a first for me, and that’s a pretty cool experience to be able to be on tour for 12 years and still have firsts,” Townsend beamed.
