Former University of Georgia stars recently shared their thoughts on former Bulldogs offensive coordinator Mike Bobo, who has been hired as the new head coach of the Auburn Tigers.

“I think Mike Bobo is a great hire for Auburn,” said former UGA quarterback Aaron Murray. “He has a proven track record of success and I believe he will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the program. I’m excited to see what he can do with the Tigers.”

Former UGA running back Todd Gurley also had positive things to say about Bobo. “I played under Coach Bobo at Georgia and he was a great coach and mentor to me. I have no doubt that he will bring that same level of passion and dedication to his new role at Auburn. I wish him all the best in this new chapter of his coaching career.”

It’s clear that Bobo has left a lasting impression on his former players at UGA, and they have high hopes for his success at Auburn. It will be interesting to see how he is able to build on his past successes and lead the Tigers to new heights in the SEC.
