    When Bernard resorts to extreme measures in Silo season 2’s episode 6, the Mechanical strategically fights back to forcefully push his barricades to the 120th level. Their plan eventually works wonders in the Silo season 2 episode, allowing them to grow their rebellion against the corrupt Silo leader. Although a full-fledged war between the rebellions and the conformers is yet to break loose in Silo 18, things have been heating up rather quickly in the underground city.

    While Bernard is deadset upon extinguishing the brewing rebellion before it reaches its tipping point, the people from the Mechanical are not holding back from defying him and fighting back against his tyranny. Only time will tell what else the Tim Robbins Silo character will do to overpower the people from the lower levels. However, as of Silo season 2’s episode 6, he seems to be fighting a losing battle. Despite his best efforts to establish his dominance over the people from the lower levels, the Mechanical folks deliver him the perfect counter by moving up in levels by force.

Pushing the barricade up to the 120th floor was a part of their elaborate plan because they knew that if they had control over all the levels below 120, they would have direct access to Level 122’s farmland. Owing to this, as soon as Knox, Shirley, and the team push the raiders up to 120 in Silo season 2’s episode 6, Knox steps forward and threatens them that they will only kill a few of them if they try. However, together, the people from the Mechanical would get them all.

To their dismay, Bernard remained one step ahead and foresaw how the Mechanical would seek help from higher levels.

    Therefore, he asked raiders to guard the trash chute to ensure no more food was sent down to the lower levels. After Bernard poisoned their food supply and even prevented them from using the trash chutes for help, the people from Mechanical deduced the perfect counter-plan to gain control over all the levels up to 120 in Silo 18. They forced their way up, and, as a result, in Silo season 2’s episode 6, they eventually emerged victorious, preventing Bernard from securing dominance over them.
