  • Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan star in hilarious Super Bowl ad with nod to their iconic film

Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan’s reunion has been revealed and it’s… a Super Bowl commercial!

In the new ad released Wednesday for Hellmann’s mayonnaise, the “When Harry Met Sally” co-stars are right back where it all started, sitting in New York City’s famous Katz’s Delicatessen, where one of the most iconic scenes from the 1989 film took place.

“I can’t believe they let us back in this place,” Crystal says to Ryan in the commercial. When Ryan asks “Why?” Crystal says “Hello…,” nodding to the famous, hilarious deli scene from the classic.

“Nobody remembers that,” responds Ryan, shrugging off the reference.

As Ryan and Crystal dig into their sandwiches, Ryan expresses displeasure but after she adds mayonnaise to her sandwich, she immediately begins to really enjoy the sandwich, channeling her famous excited reaction from the original film, 35 years later.

“Here we go,” responds Crystal in annoyance.

As Ryan continues, banging her hands on the table and rolling her head back, Crystal chimes in, “this one’s real.”

“Lunch and a show,” he says, addressing onlookers.

A surprise twist at the end reveals Sydney Sweeney sitting nearby who delivers the now-iconic punchline, “I’ll have what she’s having” — which was originally delivered by “When Harry Met Sally” director Rob Reiner’s mother Estelle Reiner.

The 30 second spot will air in the second quarter of the Super Bowl on Feb. 9, while a longer 60 second version will debut on social media.

The stars previously teased the reunion in an Instagram post last week.

“The opportunity to return to Katz’s Deli with Meg was a no brainer,” Crystal said in a statement introducing the advertisement.

“Thanks to Hellmann’s, who came up with the concept and wrote a really funny spot, we’re bringing some laughs and nostalgia and helping When Harry Met Sally celebrate its 35th Anniversary during the Big Game this year,” Crystal continued.

Ryan added in a statement, “Reuniting with Billy and stepping back into Sally’s shoes was a joy.”

Hellmann’s tapped renowned director Jake Szymanski, an alum of comedic powerhouses like “Saturday Night Live” and Funny or Die, to oversee the new spot.

In a preview event at Katz’s on Tuesday night, Szymanski said the brand “had all the right pieces in place” with Ryan, Crystal and Katz’s all signed on to create the commercial, revealing that this “was the first time either of them had been back at Katz’s since they shot the scene.”

“Obviously I’m a huge fan of the movie — the biggest thing for me when you have celebrities like this and doing something iconic, is you want to try to make something that feels like only they could have done it,” he said. “When you have good performers let them perform in a way that feels special — obviously you have to do it with Billy and Meg.”

Szymanski noted that “it’s also a commercial that I feel like integrated Hellmann’s really well, it’s not forcing itself somewhere it shouldn’t.”

Hellmann’s and Katz’s also teamed up to create the “What She’s Having” Sandwich Package — a new bundle available online for nationwide delivery that includes all the ingredients and recipe to make Meg Ryan’s sandwich order, complete with Hellmann’s mayonnaise, plus Crystal’s pastrami sandwich. Each kit costs $120, with free shipping, and can feed four to six people. Limited quantities available.

  • Spokane’s Sydney Sweeney makes cameo in Super Bowl ad re-creating iconic ‘When Harry Met Sally’ scene with Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal

Viewers tuning into the Super Bowl (on Fox, Tubi and NFL+) may see some familiar faces in an advertisement for mayonnaise.

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal reconvened 36 years later to re-create the iconic diner scene from “When Harry Met Sally” (where Ryan loudly acts out a particular R-rated deed to make a point).

In the 60-second spot, the rom-com queen, now 63, and comedian, 76, returned to Manhattan’s Katz’s Deli to dine on sandwiches.

But it’s not just these two successful actors you may recognize in the Hellman’s ad. Spokane’s Sydney Sweeney makes a cameo, too.

After Ryan puts Hellmann’s mayonnaise on her sandwich, she begins to make noises of pleasure.

Sweeney (of “Immaculate,” “Euphoria” “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” “Madame Web” and “Anyone But You” fame) then utters the line made famous by director Rob Reiner’s mother Estelle in the 1989 film: “I’ll have what she’s having.”

The line is ranked No. 33 on the American Film Institute’s list of the Top 100 movie quotes.

“Now that is a sandwich,” Ryan says.

Sweeney grew up in Spokane, attending Saint George’s School.

Crystal told People on Wednesday that the on-set reunion with Ryan “felt the same” as it did three decades earlier.

“It’s the first time that we’ve been offered something like that,” the six-time Emmy winner told People.

As for working with Sweeney? Both actors agreed the 27-year-old did the line justice.

“She’s adorable,” Crystal told People. “That’s a big deal. It’s an iconic line and it’s a big honor to get to do that. And a heavy burden.”

“It was game and fun and loose and ballsy and just seemed to be having a blast while she was there,” Ryan said. “She’s a completely adorable person.”

Spokane’s Sydney Sweeney makes cameo in Super Bowl ad re-creating iconic ‘When Harry Met Sally’ scene with Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal

Spokane native and rising Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney stole the spotlight during this year’s Super Bowl with a memorable cameo in a commercial that paid homage to the classic romantic comedy “When Harry Met Sally.”

In the ad, Sweeney re-created the iconic deli scene from the movie, where Meg Ryan famously fakes an orgasm in front of Billy Crystal. Sweeney’s performance was pitch-perfect, capturing the essence of Ryan’s original performance while adding her own modern twist.

Fans were thrilled to see Sweeney sharing the screen with two legends of the silver screen, and many took to social media to praise her acting chops and undeniable chemistry with Crystal.

Sweeney, who got her start in the industry at a young age, has been making waves in Hollywood with roles in hit shows like “Euphoria” and “The White Lotus.” Her star is on the rise, and this Super Bowl cameo is just the latest example of her talent and versatility.

Spokane is proud to call Sydney Sweeney one of its own, and we can’t wait to see what she does next on the big screen. Keep shining, Sydney!

  • 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games prediction, odds, spread, line, time: Flag football picks, bets by expert on 29-15 run

The 2025 Pro Bowl will mark the third iteration of the Pro Bowl Games, culminating in an AFC vs. NFC flag football showdown on Sunday. Outside of players from the Chiefs and Eagles, the 2025 Pro Bowl Games features many of the top players in the league, from NFL MVP finalists Joe Burrow and Jared Goff to game-breaking talents like Jahmyr Gibbs and Justin Jefferson. The 7-on-7 flag football game highlights the Pro Bowl 2025 and will consist of four quarters, with skills events in between, contested on a 50-yard field with 10-yard endzones.

Scoring plays are worth the traditional six points, with a 1-point conversion from the 5-yard line or a 2-point conversion from the 10-yard line. The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday from Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. The latest Pro Bowl odds for the NFL flag football game have the AFC favored by 1.5, while the over/under for points is 88.5. Before making any 2025 Pro Bowl picks for Sunday’s flag football game, you need to check out the NFL predictions and betting advice from the SportsLine expert R.J. White, considering his mastery of NFL picks.

White, a Fantasy and gambling editor for CBS Sports, consistently crushes against-the-spread picks and has gone 643-543-34 on his ATS picks from 2017-23, which returned more than $4,600 to $100 players. He also went 101-84-4 (+1366) on all NFL spread picks last season and is on a 29-15 roll (+1324) on his NFL picks this season. Anyone who has followed him could be way up.

Now, White has locked in on the AFC vs. NFC and just revealed his coveted NFL picks and predictions. You can head to SportsLine now to see his picks. Here are several NFL odds and NFL betting lines for the Pro Bowl Games:

    • 2025 NFL Pro Bowl spread: AFC -1.5
    • 2025 NFL Pro Bowl over/under: 88.5 points
    • 2025 NFL Pro Bowl money line: AFC -110, NFC -110
    • AFC: AFC leads the all-time series with 26 wins versus 25 losses
    • NFC: NFC has won both previous iterations of the Pro Bowl Games
    • 2025 NFL Pro Bowl picks: See picks at SportsLine

    Why the AFC can cover

You only have to look back at the Pro Bowl a year ago to see why the AFC is the favorite for the 2025 Pro Bowl. The American Football Conference dominated the flag football portion, winning it 50-34 and only losing in one of the four quarters of play, and it lost that quarter by just a single point. From a roster standpoint, the AFC pass catchers — which are integral to flag football success — aren’t hit as hard by Pro Bowl defections as much as the NFC. Three of the four AFC wideouts originally selected for the game will participate, while just one of the four NFC wideouts selected will play.

One also has to remember that each player on the winning squad will receive twice as much in compensation as the players on the losing squad. Young players who haven’t made as much in NFL earnings would seem to be most incentivized, and the AFC boasts three rookies at premium positions in Drake Maye, Brian Thomas Jr. and Brock Bowers. With Jayden Daniels withdrawing, there’s just one NFC offensive rookie in Malik Nabers. That could be the difference maker that allows the AFC to claim the 2025 Pro Bowl. See who to back at SportsLine.

    Why the NFC can cover

While the AFC won the flag football game a year ago, it’s the NFC which is undefeated in this iteration of the Pro Bowl. Since the league shifted to the Pro Bowl Games format two years ago, the NFC has won both overall exhibitions. Additionally, when the flag football event debuted two years ago, it was the National Football Conference that prevailed, winning two of the three held flag football games and taking the overall flag football competition.

The NFC has the clear edge in terms of pass-catching running backs, which is far more crucial in flag football success than the rushing ability of backs. None of the three AFC running backs — Jonathan Taylor, Joe Mixon, James Cook — had more than 36 receptions, while none of the three NFC backs — Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, Josh Jacobs — had fewer than 36 catches. Also, while the NFC won’t have Daniels under center, it replaced him with someone as well-versed as anyone in flag football success, Baker Mayfield, who was the Offensive MVP of last year’s game. See who to back at SportsLine.

How to make AFC vs. NFC picks

White has analyzed the 2025 Pro Bowl Games from every possible angle and is leaning Under. He has also discovered a critical X-factor that has him jumping all over one side of the spread. Find out what it is, and which team to back, at SportsLine

So who wins the Pro Bowl Flag Football Game 2025 on Sunday, and what critical x-factor makes one side of the spread hit hard? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the AFC vs. NFC spread to back, all from the expert who is 29-15 over his last 44 NFL picks, and find out.

The 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games are just around the corner, and fans are eagerly anticipating the action-packed flag football matchups. With some of the league’s top stars set to take the field, the excitement is palpable.

As we look ahead to the games, let’s take a closer look at some predictions, odds, spreads, lines, and game times for the upcoming Pro Bowl festivities.

According to experts, the AFC and NFC teams are expected to be evenly matched, with both sides boasting a roster full of talent and skill. The odds are likely to be close, reflecting the competitive nature of the game.

The spread is expected to be tight, with oddsmakers predicting a close contest that could go either way. With so many playmakers on both teams, fans can expect a high-scoring affair with plenty of big plays and highlight-reel moments.

The game time for the Pro Bowl is set to be announced closer to the event, so be sure to check your local listings for the most up-to-date information.

For those looking to make a wager on the game, experts are advising to consider taking a look at the underdog, as they have been on a hot streak with a 29-15 record in recent games. With their insider knowledge and expertise, these experts are confident in their picks and bets for the upcoming Pro Bowl games.

So mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting weekend of flag football action at the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games. It’s sure to be a thrilling event that fans won’t want to miss.

The Super Bowl is happening Sunday, Feb. 9. It’s a spectacle worthy of a couple home entertainment upgrades, if you ask me. All of the big-budget commercial spots, the halftime show led by Kendrick Lamar, and, oh yeah, the football would all benefit from displaying on a sweet, new 4K TV. And, since most TVs can’t pump out great-sounding audio from their tiny speakers, it’s time to get a new soundbar while you’re at it.

Around the NFL’s biggest game of the year is when many tech companies offer price cuts, but some are better than others — both in terms of the hardware itself and the deals. If you’ve been snooping around for deals and are thinking of buying something, let me show you some of the best discounts I’ve found.

    3. Consider a larger screen size: If you’re hosting a big Super Bowl party, a larger screen size can help ensure that everyone has a great view of the action. Consider upgrading to a larger TV to accommodate all of your guests.

    4. Add a subwoofer for deep bass: For those big hits on the field, you’ll want to feel the impact in your living room. Consider adding a subwoofer to your soundbar setup for deep, rumbling bass that will make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action.

    5. Enhance your viewing experience with smart features: Smart TVs and soundbars can add a whole new level of convenience to your game day setup. Look for devices with built-in streaming services, voice control, and other smart features to make your Super Bowl party a breeze.

  • Why is CeeDee Lamb not playing in Pro Bowl 2025? Exploring reasons behind Cowboys WR’s decision

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was one of five Dallas Cowboys players selected for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games in early January. Camping World Stadium in Florida will host the Pro Bowl flag football game on Sunday. However, the NFL announced on Monday that Lamb would not be playing after withdrawing from the event due to an injury.

Lamb reportedly played through an AC joint sprain injury in his shoulder during a Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons as the 2024 regular season came to an end. However, the Cowboys opted to shut Lamb down for the season on Dec. 26 after it became evident that they would not be able to return to the postseason.

As a result, Lamb missed Weeks 17 and 18 games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders.

After finishing the 2024 regular season with 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns, the former Oklahoma standout was one of five Cowboys players chosen to this year’s Pro Bowl, along with kicker Brandon Aubrey, left guard Tyler Smith, return specialist KaVontae Turpin and pass rusher Micah Parsons.

With 1,194 yards this season, Lamb has now crossed the 6,000-yard milestone in his career and became the second-most-selected wide receiver in Cowboys history with four Pro Bowl selections, second only to Michael Irvin, who was selected to five consecutive Pro Bowls from 1991 to 1995.

Given that quarterback Dak Prescott was unavailable for the majority of the season due to a hamstring injury and Lamb dealt with shoulder troubles that forced him to miss the final two games, the wide receiver’s season can still be regarded as impressive even though the Cowboys finished with a 7-10 record and couldn’t make the playoffs.

Who is CeeDee Lamb’s replacement for Pro Bowl Games?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans will take CeeDee Lamb‘s place at this year’s Pro Bowl Games, the NFL confirmed during the week. Evans will be playing in his sixth Pro Bowl.

Following a 2024 season in which he recorded 74 receptions for 1,004 yards and 11 touchdowns in 14 games, the 31-year-old wide receiver will join two of his Bucs teammates, Vita Vea and Tristan Wirfs, for the Pro Bowl Games.

After getting his sixth Pro Bowl nod, the only other players in the Buccaneers’ history with more selections than Mike Evans are defensive lineman Warren Sapp (seven) and linebacker Derrick Brooks (11).

Evans crossed the 1,000-yard milestone on the final day of the regular season, making him just the second player in NFL history to record at least 1,000 receiving yards in 11 straight seasons.
