A lot of big name celebrities are hitting a major milestone this year.
The once-dreaded five-o will drop on a lot of familiar faces in 2025 from Angelina Jolie and Drew Barrymore to Bradley Cooper and David Beckham.
Turning 50 used to be challenging for movie stars in the 1950s as it signaled their time as a leading star was over, but that is not true today.
Jolie still gets tons of parts; she was last in Maria and will next star in the Parisian fashion drama Stitches.
And Cooper is on top of his career as he continues to star in quality films that sometimes leads to Academy Award nominations.
Plus there are all those stars like Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez who are well into their 50s and are still considered A-list talent.
According to AARP – the American Association of Retired Persons – the 50s can be a great time to ‘gain wisdom, empathy and experience.’
It was added: ‘At age 50 and beyond, many women feel more grateful for each passing day, more confident in their decisions, and more able to make better choices about how to spend their time.’
