Kelly Ripa Breaks Down After Sad Family News
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are saying goodbye to a beloved member of their family.
On February 5, the Live With Kelly and Mark co-stars went on the ABC morning program to mourn the loss of their beloved dog, Chewie, who had died the night before. Chewie had been a part of their lives for 17 years (the couple also adopted their other dog Lena in 2021), and after going through a number of complicated health issues, the couple decided to do what they felt was best and put her down.
“We had a rough day yesterday,” Mark sadly began in a clip posted on Instagram. “We had to say goodbye to Chewie yesterday … you think, ‘Okay, I’m doing the right thing, this is going to be not easy but … ‘ It’s probably one of the toughest things we’ve had to do as a married couple.”
As Mark told the audience about the impact Chewie had on them and their kids (sons Michael and Joaquin, along with daughter Lola), Kelly looked despondent and on the verge of tears. Eventually, she broke down on the air, with her head buried in her hands.
“I really thought I got it all out and I apologize because this is not how I wanted this to go down,” she stated. “We’re filled with gratitude for this dog … As each one of our kids left for college and moved out on our own, Chewie remained right there. Our steadfast companion. I feel very bad crying … there are much bigger problems in the world, and I understand that. But you have to understand that this dog was so special, and she was such a great girl.”
“You were a great dog mom, she adored you,” Mark added. “We’re going to get through this … All together, we’re going to get through it.”

“Oh heavens, I’m so sorry for this precious loss,” one person wrote. “Ugh this was heartbreaking to watch. I’m so very sorry for your loss. She’ll be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge. ,” another consoled. “Crying with you My heart goes out to you both,” a different follower added.

Rikishi has three sons in WWE: Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa. The Usos are real-life twins, while Sikoa is their younger brother. They have five more siblings named Jeremiah, Thamiko, Tobias, Samson, and Thavana. The youngest is Samson Fatu, who currently plays high school football at Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks, California.
Samson has a promising career with an offer from Portland State University in 2023. He recently announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that another program offered him a scholarship. 2024 was a great year for The Bloodline. They won the WWE Tag Team Championship and also had great feuds with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton. WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently went on his Instagram to congratulate Vaughan Anoa’i for an academic achievement.
Rikishi is a former three-time Tag Team Champion and a former Intercontinental Champion. He often posts about the achievements of his family inside and outside the ring on his social media handles. He recently posted a picture congratulating Reno Anoa’i’s daughter, Vaughan Anoa’i, who is a part of their real-life Bloodline, for academic achievement.

The Anoa’i family is a Bloodline filled with talented individuals both in and out of the ring. Vaughan’s father, Reno is a former NWE World Heavyweight Champion and is best known for the time he spent wrestling at indie wrestling promotions in Italy. Now, his daughter is making the family proud with her academic achievements.

The Bloodline dominated WWE for over four years when Roman Reigns held the Undisputed Universal Championship for 1,316 days. The Usos, who are also eight-time Tag Team Champions, held the titles for 622 days as part of The Bloodline. Apart from them, Nia Jax is also a former two-time Women’s Champion. One of the most successful members of The Bloodline is The Final Boss, The Rock.
The Great One is an eight-time WWE Champion, a member of the Board of Directors at TKO, and one of the key figures in WWE.

Staten Island, NY – The Hofstra men’s track and field team had a very successful day at the Metropolitan Indoor Track & Field Championship in Staten Island, New York, on Friday with Daniel Torrillo taking first place in the 5000m race and Alec Padron breaking the program record in the 400m dash.Torrillo took first place in the 5000m race with a time of 15:17.44, while William Thu came in second with a time of 15:30.65. John Ortiz was took ninth place in 16:40.21. In the 400m dash, Alec Padron broke the program record with his time of 53.87 to take 26th place. Sameer Grewal came in 14th place in the 500m dash with a time of 1:09.74, while Steiger Devil finished the 200m dash with a time of 24.51 to take 43rd place. Nayan Chatterjee, Devil, Greg Franzetti and Padron came in 7th place in the 4x200m relay with a time of 1:37.60. In the shot put event, James Watterson finished 21st with a mark of 9.68m while Philip Park was 23rd with a mark of 9.16m.
The Pride are back in action on Friday, February 7, for the FastTrack Invitational.

Coldplay Breaks Record for Largest-Ever Stadium Shows of the 21st Century
Coldplay now holds the record for the largest-ever stadium shows of the 21st century following a two-night stint at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in India, according to Live Nation. The shows also marked the first time Coldplay has played in the country.
Over the weekend (Jan. 25-26), the British band performed for 111,581 fans at the first show and 111,989 fans per night at the second, totaling more than 223,000 fans across the two nights.

This narrowly beats the record set by George Strait, who in June played to 110,905 fans at Kyle Field at Texas A&M. Strait’s show will retain the record for the largest U.S. stadium concert.
Coldplay’s India dates are part of the band’s global Music of the Spheres World Tour that kicked off in March 2022. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, the global trek has sold more tickets than any tour in history, at 10.3 million as of December. Already in January, Coldplay has played four nights at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; three nights at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbia, India; and the two Narendra Modi Stadium shows last weekend.

The Music of the Spheres World Tour has been a global event, selling out stadiums on five continents. About half of the tour’s 175 concerts have been in Europe, where it sold 5.2 million tickets over 87 shows. It also sold 1.8 million tickets in South America, 1.6 million in North America, 884,000 in Asia and 848,000 in Australia. As of mid-December, Coldplay had sold more than 100,000 tickets on over half the stops on the tour and grossed a total of $1.14 billion.
The Music of the Spheres World Tour will pick up in April with shows in Hong Kong, China and Seoul before heading back to the United States and Canada. The tour is currently scheduled to close out with 10 sold-out nights at Wembley Stadium in London.
