Page is a Nolan veteran, having the memorable role of architecture grad student Ariadne in 2010’s Inception. Patel too is a Nolan alum, with a role in 2020’s Tenet, while Irwin had the memorable voice role of TARS the robot in Interstellar.

Universal had no comment on the castings. The quartet of actors join a cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal and Benny Safdie.

The studio describes the project as a “mythic action epic shot across the world across the world using brand new Imax film technology. The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to Imax film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”

Page, who earned an Oscar nomination for 2007’s Juno, is known for Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy and starred in, co-wote and produced the feature Close to You, which landed on Netflix in November after a festival run.

Patel broke out with the Beatles-infused feature Yesterday in 2018, and earned an Emmy nomination for his work on HBO’s Station Eleven. He recently led the HBO series The Franchise, about the making of a superhero movie.

In addition to voicing TARS in Interstellar, Irwin also served as the operator of the robot on set, and was fondly remembered for injecting levity into the tale of humanity on the brink of extinction. The busy working actor’s credits also include Rustin and TV shows as varied as Third Rock from the Sun and Sesame Street to CSI and The Dropout.

Morton is a two-time Oscar nominee known for leading The Serpent Queen, the Starz series centered on Catherine de’ Medici. Coming up, she has The Entertainment System Is Down, the new film from Triangle of Sadness filmmaker Ruben Östlund. She recieved Oscar noms for In America and Sweet and Lowdown.

  • Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ Movie Casts Jon Bernthal

EXCLUSIVE: Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey is adding to its already stellar cast as sources tell Deadline that Emmy winner Jon Bernthal is boarding the film. He joins a cast that includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.

Last month, Universal revealed that Nolan’s follow-up to his Oscar-winning Oppenheimer would be an adaptation of the epic poem composed by Homer around the 8th century BCE.

“Christopher Nolan’s next film The Odyssey is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new Imax film technology,” the studio said at the time. “The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to Imax film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”

It is unknown who Bernthal will be playing; Universal had no comment on his casting.

The ancient Greek poem is one of the foundational texts of Western literature. It tells the story of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, and his perilous journey home after the Trojan War, exploring themes of heroism, loyalty, cunning and the struggle against divine will. The tale includes iconic stories like Odysseus’ encounters with the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens and the witch-goddess Circe, culminating in a reunion with his wife Penelope.

The Odyssey is expected to start shooting next month and marks Nolan’s second for Universal, on the heels of Oppenheimer. Its 2026 release date falls in line with the window often reserved by that filmmaker, as was the case with the historical drama starring Cillian Murphy.

As for Bernthal, the actor recently won an Emmy for his role on FX’s The Bear. Next up, has an arc in the upcmoing Disney+ series Daredevil, in which he will reprise his beloved role as The Punisher. He also stars opposite Ben Affleck in The Accountant 2, which hits theaters April 25, and is co-lead of Netflix’s His & Hers opposite Tessa Thompson based on the hugely popular novel, set to debut later this year.

Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film adaptation of ‘The Odyssey’ has just announced its latest casting choice, and it’s none other than the talented Jon Bernthal. Known for his roles in ‘The Punisher’ and ‘The Walking Dead,’ Bernthal is sure to bring a gritty and intense performance to the epic tale.

Fans of both Bernthal and Nolan are buzzing with excitement over this casting news, as they eagerly await more updates on the project. With Nolan’s visionary direction and Bernthal’s powerful acting chops, ‘The Odyssey’ is shaping up to be a must-see cinematic experience.

Stay tuned for more updates on the cast and production of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey,’ as this star-studded film continues to take shape.

  • Meet the W.A.G.s to Riches Cast’s Partners and Exes

Meet the W.A.G.s to Riches Cast’s Partners and Exes

Get to know the people behind the cast’s “W.A.G.” nicknames.

Netflix’s series W.A.G.s to Riches follows nine powerhouse women who are the wives and girlfriends (or former wives and girlfriends) of high-profiled celebrities and athletes as they strive to redefine the traditional meaning of the phrase.

Throughout the show’s eight episodes, which hit the streamer on Jan. 22, viewers get an intimate look at the glitz, the glam — and the oftentimes drama-filled — hustle displayed by the business-minded cast of fashion entrepreneurs, realtors and event producers.

Sharelle Rosado, who Netflix describes as the “queen bee of the W.A.G.s,” is among the ladies in the series with bustling careers. She’s the founder of Allure Realty, her own multimillion-dollar real estate agency that opened in 2019 and has since hired several of the women in the cast.

As the series unfolds, Rosado’s relationship with retired NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is put on full display as they work through their ups and downs after getting engaged in 2023. Although they separated in October 2024, the series gives context behind their breakup.

While the women are at the forefront of the show, Johnson — along with Tyreek Hill, Philip Wheeler and a few other cast partners — make appearances in the episodes. Many of the cast members have kids, too, some of whom are also briefly featured.

Read on to learn about the current and former partners of the W.A.G.s to Riches cast.

Sharelle Rosado is the ex-fiancée of Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, a former professional football tight end who played 11 seasons in the NFL.

Johnson was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He played college football at Oregon State until he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft.

The longtime Bengals star played for the Ohio-based team until 2010. He went on to play for the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins over the course of his football career before announcing his retirement from the NFL in 2013.

Johnson pursued other avenues within the professional football field in retirement, working as a panelist on the CW’s Inside the NFL and co-hosting the Nightcap podcast. He also had several pursuits outside of football, like competing on Dancing with the Stars in 2010.

In July 2012, Johnson married TV personality Evelyn Lozada. The former NFL player was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge against her on Aug. 11. He was released from jail on $2,500 bond on Aug. 12.

Lozada filed for divorce days later on Aug. 14 claiming their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” The divorce was finalized on Sept. 19, 2012.

Johnson is the father of eight kids: Jicyra, Chad II, Chade’, Cha’iel, Savi, Florida, Serenity and a daughter whose name is not public. He and Rosado share Serenity, his youngest daughter and most recent addition to his family.

Rosado and Johnson got engaged in 2023. They called it quits in October 2024.

Maranda Johnson is in an on-and-off relationship with rapper Kodak Black, a rapper and singer who gained notoriety for his 2014 songs “No Flockin” and “Skrt” which led to his signing with Atlantic Records. He is now repped by Capitol Records.

Kodak Black, whose legal name is Bill K. Kapri, was born in Pompano Beach, Fla. His interest in music started young, joining several local rap groups like the Kolyons in the early 2010s. He released his first mixtape, Project Baby, in 2013.

Rap phenom Drake posted a video dancing to Kodak Black’s “Skrt” in October 2015, which helped boost the then-up-and-coming artist’s popularity. Since signing with Atlantic Records, the Florida native has released a number of chart-topping songs and collaborations with hip-hop’s biggest names.

In March 2017, Kodak Black released his debut studio album Painting Pictures, followed by Dying to Live in 2018 and Bill Israel in 2020. He dropped his fourth studio album, Back for Everything, in February 2022.

Amid Kodak Black’s successes in music, he has faced several public controversies and legal issues. Among them include a sexual assault charge in South Carolina in 2016 and a gun-related conviction in 2019 that resulted in a presidential pardon by Donald Trump in 2021.

Kodak Black has welcomed two children with Johnson, daughter Zuri in January 2022 and son Prince Kapri in February 2024. He is also the father of two children with women from different relationships.

Ashley Wheeler is married to Philip Wheeler, a former professional football linebacker who played for various teams in the NFL. The couple got engaged in November 2016 and tied the knot in May 2017.

The Georgia native played for Georgia Tech until he was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was with the team from 2008 to 2011 before joining the Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, San Fransisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals. He’s now retired from the NFL.

Philip and Ashley share two sons, who are often featured in family photos on the former Miami WAGs star’s Instagram. They welcomed Philip “Deuce” Wheeler in December 2014 and Phox Philip Wheeler in June 2018.

    Amar’e Stoudemire

Alexis Welch was married to Amar’e Stoudemire, a retired basketball star and Olympian who had a standout career in the NBA.

The Florida native committed to the University of Memphis before he reversed his decision and declared for the NBA Draft, where he was selected as the ninth pick by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2002 NBA Draft. He won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 2003.

Amar’e was with the Suns until 2010. He spent time with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat. In 2004, the basketball player won a bronze medal at the Athens Summer Olympics with the U.S. National Team.

In June 2016, Amar’e resigned from the Knicks to retire with the New York-based team after 14 seasons in the league. He went on to become a two-time Israeli Basketball Premier League champion in 2017 and 2020.

Amar’e got engaged to Alexis in May 2012 and wed in December of that year. The basketball player filed for divorce in October 2018, but it was dismissed in July 2019 after failing to submit the documents required. Alexis filed for divorce two years later, which was finalized in 2021.

Alexis and Amar’e share four kids, who make appearances on their parents’ Instagrams and regularly step out to basketball games with their dad. Their daughter Ar’e was born in 2005, their son Amar’e Jr was born in 2006, their daughter Assata was born in 2008 and their son Alijah was born in 2020.

    Andre Berto

Porsha Berto’s husband is Andre Berto, a professional boxer who is a two-time welterweight world champion and Olympian.

Andre was born in Florida and raised in a family of combat sports athletes. He was introduced to boxing by his father, a professional kickboxer, himself, who competed at UFC 10. Andre displayed his talents young and won a bronze medal as an amateur in the 2003 World Championships.

In 2011, Andre was at the height of his career: he held the WBC welterweight title since winning in 2008 and was ranked top three welterweight in the world behind top boxers Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the time.

Andre’s 2011 fight against Victor Ortiz was named Fight of the Year by The Ring magazine, however; it was the first professional defeat of his career that cost him his belt in a 12-round unanimous decision. His successes fluctuated between 2012 to 2015, and later beat Ortiz in a 2016 rematch.

Nicknamed “The Beast,” Andre hasn’t yet retired from professional boxing. According to his PBC bio, he’s “hungrier than ever to reclaim his spot atop the division.”

As for her personal life, Andre proposed to his wife Porsha at her baby shower in 2018, and they have been married for the past five years. “Thank you for being my hero, my best friend, my partner in all things, and my lover face,” Porsha wrote on Instagram in honor of their fourth anniversary in January 2023.

The couple share two children together, daughter Legaci in February 2019 and son Levi Michael in 2020. In July 2024, Porsha revealed on Instagram that she is pregnant with their third baby.

Sadé Vanessa‘s fiancé is Robbie Chosen Anderson, an NFL free agent who’s played for several teams in the League as a wide receiver. Most recently, he was a member of the Miami Dolphins.

Anderson was born in New Jersey and raised in Florida before moving to Philadelphia upon committing to Temple University for football. He went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft despite his standout skills, however; he signed a three-year, $1.63 million contract with the New York Jets later that year.

The NFL player was with the Jets until 2019. He signed with the Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, San Fransisco 49ers and again with the Dolphins over the course of his professional football career.

Anderson is engaged to Sadé and proposed to her in December 2021. “Better with you than I am without ya, Too solid to be labeled my girlfriend always knew you was meant to be my Wife.. Committed to being the Best I can be,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

The couple often post photos with each other on their respective social media pages, along with heartfelt tributes. In November 2024, they revealed on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together.

    Rick Ross

Lastonia Leviston shares a child with Rick Ross, a rapper and music entrepreneur who rose to prominence in the hip-hop world with chart-topping tracks and Grammy nominations to his name.

A Mississippi native, Ross — born William Leonard Roberts II — moved to Florida and was raised in Carol City, an impoverished area north of Miami. He played football on scholarship at Albany State University in Georgia for one year before taking a job as a corrections officer for a couple of years.

All the while, Ross would write rap music. His lyrics stemmed from sights he saw in childhood, heavily revolving around drugs. He was featured on tracks from underground hip-hop groups before signing with Miami-based label Slip-N-Slide (under Def Jam since 2006).

Ross released his debut album Port of Miami in 2006, receiving acclaim upon its drop and featured his debut single “Hustin.’” While he continued to release music, he founded his own record label, Maybach Music Group, in 2009, signing Meek Mill and French Montana, to name a few.

Throughout the early 2010s, Ross saw many successes: he earned a BET nomination, signed a solo deal with Epic Records and released up to 10 studio records by 2019 (the tenth being Port of Miami 2). His single “Gold Roses” with Drake earned a Grammy Award the following year.

Ross has had several controversies and legal troubles over the years (including arrests on occasion for marijuana possession and assault, the latter which resulted in 5 years probation), in addition to an obligatory rap beef with 50 Cent (which is touched upon in a dramatic episode of W.A.G.s to Riches, involving a 2015 lawsuit about the release of Leviston’s sex tape in which 50 Cent was ordered to $5 million).

The rapper is the father of five kids. He had daughter Toie in March 2002, son William III in September 2005, daughter Berkeley Hermès in September 2017, son Billion Leonard in November 2017 and son Bliss in August 2020.

Ross welcomed his children across different relationships. He shares his first child, Toie, with Leviston. He welcomed William III with Tia Kemp. He shares Berkeley Hermès, Billion and Bliss with Briana Camille.

    Tyreek Hill

Keeta Hill is the wife of Tyreek Hill, one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL who recently wrapped his third season with the Miami Dolphins. He’s known by his nickname, “Cheetah.”

Tyreek was born and raised in Georgia before moving to Kansas upon committing to Garden City Community College. As a sought-after junior college recruit, the football star went on to play at Oklahoma State University and then West Alabama University.

At the 2016 NFL Draft, Tyreek was selected in the fifth round by the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played for six seasons until making his move to Miami. Tyreek won Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs, plus several successes. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his eight seasons in the NFL.

While Tyreek has made headlines for his performance on the field, he’s also made headlines for his controversial off-field behavior as the subject of various police investigations prior to his time in the League and throughout his career.

Tyreek pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in 2014 and received three years on probation as result of a plea agreement, reported The Oklahoman. He was also required to take an anger management course and a 52-week Batterer’s Intervention Program.

In March 2019, Tyreek was investigated by Kansas’ child welfare agency when his then three-year-old broke his arm in 2019. He did not face charges and the NFL declared he would not be suspended as a result of the leagues investigation.

In September 2024, Tyreek was arrested following a traffic stop ahead of his first game of the NFL season. He appeared in the Dolphins’ home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, scored a touchdown and marked it with an unusual end-zone celebration: pretending to be handcuffed.

The Miami Dolphins player and Vaccaro got engaged in July 2021, wed in November 2023 and welcomed their first child together in November 2024. It is unclear how many children the athlete has in total, but it’s been reported he’s fathered eight across different relationships.

    Duke Riley

Julz Goddard (known as YesJulz online) is the ex-fiancée of Duke Riley, an NFL linebacker on the Miami Dolphins.

Riley was born and raised in Louisiana, where he ended up playing college upon committing to Louisiana State University from 2013 to 2016. He made his transition to the League the following year when the Atlanta Falcons selected him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

In 2019, Riley was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and played for the Pennsylvania team until he signed with the Miami Dolphins in March 2021. He signed a two-year contract extension with the Florida team in 2023.

Riley taps into other passions outside of football. He’s ventured into the music scene with several singles and an album (We All Have Bad Habits) released on Spotify, in addition to a style scene with fashion-focused photos shared on his Instagram.

The Dolphins player is the father of three kids, two sons and one daughter, with women from different relationships. He and Goddard welcomed their first child, daughter River, in March 2022.

In January 2024, the social media influencer hinted on Instagram that she had split from her fiancé (they got engaged at Miami’s Rolling Loud Music Festival in July 2021). “Single ladies gather here,” she captioned a slideshow of images. The last pic was a photo of WNBA star Angel Reese pointing to her ringless ring finger.

  • Anaconda Casts Thandiwe Newton, Steve Zahn

Thandiwe Newton, who starred in HBO’s acclaimed Westworld, and Silo actor Steve Zahn have been swallowed up by Anaconda, Columbia’s comedic reimagining of the 1997 horror movie that launched a mini-franchise.

Selton Mello, who appears in Brazilian awards season hopeful I’m Still Here, and Ione Skye have also joined the feature that stars by Paul Rudd and Jack Black. Mello will be making his English-language debut with the action comedy.

Tom Gormican, who directed the Nicolas Cage meta movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, is co-writing with collaborator Kevin Etten and will direct the feature.

The original movie starred Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Ice Cube and Jon Voight, and followed a National Geographic film crew hunting for the world’s largest and deadliest snake, only to find the tables turned.

The new story, according to sources, involves a group of friends facing mid-life crises who are remaking their favorite movie from their youth. They head to the rainforest, only to find themselves in a fight for their lives against natural disasters, giant snakes and violent criminals.

Black will play an erstwhile director, a man stuck in his job as a wedding videographer, while Rudd will play an actor who did a stint on a cop show but sees his Hollywood dreams slipping further and further away.

Newton and Zahn are other childhood friends that join the two on the ill-fated adventure, while Mello will play a Brazilian animal wrangler. Skye is playing Black’s wife.

The movie is now shooting in Australia, where it being supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.

Fully Formed, the banner run by producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form, is producing the movie, which has a Dec. 25 release date.

Newton, who won an Emmy for her work on Westworld, can currently be heard as part of the voice cast of Mufasa: The Lion King. She is repped by WME and Independent Talent.

Zahn, who appeared in the first season of HBO’s The White Lotus, will next be seen opposite Glen Powell in Hulu’s upcoming series Chad Powers. He is repped by UTA, Principal Entertainment LA, and Sloane Offer.

An actor since childhood in his native Brazil, Mello now stars opposite Fernanda Torrers in Walter Salles’ I’m Still Here. The political drama scored a major and surprise boost in the awards race earlier this month, when Torres won the Golden Globe for best actress. The movie also had a best foreign language film nomination and is Brazil’s entry into the Oscar race.

Mello, who additionally last year starred in Brazilian movie Bury Your Dead, is also a director, with one of his movies, The Clown, serving as his country’s submission for the best foreign language film at the 2013 Oscars. He is repped by Danielle Robinson at ColorCreative and Lucy Popkin at GGSSC.

Skye, the longtime actress who is known for her work ranging from Say Anything to Zodiac, has been doing series work, notching credits on Netflix’s Beef, NBC’s La Brea, and NBC’s Good Girls.  She is repped by Buchwald, CP Artist Management and Management Production Entertainment.

  • Keanu Reeves Casts Doubt on a ‘John Wick 5’ Return

Keanu Reeves Casts Doubt on a ‘John Wick 5’ Return

Keanu Reeves has taken on hordes of assassins, survived near-impossible shootouts, and outwitted every underworld boss imaginable, but it seems he’s finally met an enemy even John Wick can’t defeat—getting up from a chair without cursing in pain. In a recent interview with CBS News promoting his role in Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Reeves candidly shared his doubts about returning for a fifth John Wick film, despite admitting that he would love nothing more than to put the suit on again and shoot some bad guys extremely precisely in the head.

Reeves was speaking after the explosive success of John Wick: Chapter 4, which left his character…well…dead. The series is infamous for its demanding action sequences, with Reeves dedicating months to training for combat and stunts. Still, after four punishing movies, it’s understandable that Reeves would be considering retiring from the physically demanding role.

You can never say never,” Reeves admitted, before adding:

“My knees right now are saying, ‘I can’t do another John Wick.’ So my heart does, but I don’t know if my knees can do it.”

If John Wick 5 does happen, it looks like Reeves might be trading bulletproof suits for knee braces and action-packed car chases for cautious trips across icy sidewalks like the rest of us.

Will Keanu Reeves Play John Wick Again?

Despite Keanu Knee-ves’ latest comments, we haven’t seen the last of Reeves as the Baba Yaga. The actor is set to reprise his role in the John Wick spin-off film Ballerina, led by Ana de Armas and taking place in between the events of the third and fourth films, which should allow Reeves the chance to get back into the world of assassins without having to shoulder the full weight of the franchise. We don’t yet know if it’s a supporting role or just a cameo, but given that he’s in the trailer, it should be at least more than one scene. Plus you couldn’t possibly have John Wick in a film and not have him shoot somebody or kill a bad guy with a f*cking pencil.

Ballerina is due in theaters on June 6, 2025. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates on the project and watch John Wick: Chapter 4 on Starz.

Keanu Reeves Casts Doubt on a ‘John Wick 5’ Return

Fans of the popular action franchise ‘John Wick’ may be disappointed to hear that Keanu Reeves has cast doubt on the possibility of returning for a fifth installment in the series.

In a recent interview, Reeves expressed uncertainty about the future of the character, stating that he was unsure if there was more story to tell for John Wick. He also mentioned that he didn’t want to overstay his welcome in the role and risk diluting the impact of the character.

While this news may come as a disappointment to fans who were hoping for more high-octane, gun-fu action from the beloved assassin, Reeves’ concerns about the quality and longevity of the series are understandable. After all, it’s better to leave fans wanting more than to overstay one’s welcome.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that a ‘John Wick 5’ is completely off the table, but for now, it seems like Reeves is taking a cautious approach to the future of the franchise. Only time will tell if we will see John Wick back in action once again.
