  • Chargers fall to Michigan Tech 5-2 in season opener

A young Hillsdale College men’s tennis team hung with visiting Michigan Tech on its season opener on Saturday, but couldn’t pull out a victory in a 5-2 home loss.

Freshman Alex Cordero Lopez led the Chargers with an undefeated showing on the day against the Huskies, pulling out a hard-fought three-set victory over Michigan Tech’s Laurent Teysseire 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, and also teaming with fellow freshman Ryan Paapzov for a well-earned 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles as well for the Chargers.

Sophomore Henry Hammond also showed grit for Hillsdale, rallying from a 3-6 first-set defeat at No. 5 singles against Michigan Tech’s Sarth Bansode with a 6-3 second set win to force a tiebreak, then gutting out a 10-7 victory to secure the match and the point for the Chargers.

Although Hillsdale was competitive in other flights, sealing the deal proved difficult against the more experienced Huskies. Freshman Rintaro Goda came the closest at No. 6 singles, pushing Michigan Tech’s Ian Pinnoo to a second-set tiebreak before falling 2-6, 6-7 (3).

Hillsdale (0-1) will learn from its opener and look to pick up a victory with two more home matches next weekend, starting with a Saturday match against Lake Superior State.

  • Los Angeles Chargers chase former Top 3 pick in free agency projections

Before the Jim Harbaugh era really kicked off, the Los Angeles Chargers weren’t exactly happy with the situation behind quarterback Justin Herbert on the depth chart and traded for Taylor Heinicke

One year later, might Harbaugh and the Chargers go to free agency and sign a former top-five pick?

That’s the prediction from CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin, who played quarterback matchmaker and suggested the Chargers sign Trey Lance: “Jim Harbaugh has his man in Justin Herbert, but he and offensive coordinator Greg Roman also love to run, which Lance can do. The ex-49ers first-rounder could make for an enticing gadget-type prospect.”

RELATED: Hilarious video perfectly lays out the long-standing beef between Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carroll

Lance, the third overall pick in 2021, had a combination of things preventing him from getting on the field with the San Francisco 49ers before he was eventually traded to Dallas in exchange for a fourth-round pick. There, he did little with limited chances and had his fifth-year option declined, sending him to free agency this offseason.

It is hard to know if Harbaugh and coordinator Greg Roman would really take the time to implement gadget packages so that a possible third-string quarterback can add a new wrinkle to the offense.

No matter what Harbaugh’s past has shown with the quarterback position, he’s not likely to want the ball in anyone but Herbert’s hands — especially when the franchise passer showed so much as a runner this year when he wasn’t battling different ankle injuries, anyway.

Regardless, it would be hard to blame them for looking at a 24-year-old former top-three pick at any position, let alone the most important of all.

The Los Angeles Chargers are making big moves in free agency this offseason, and their latest target is a former Top 3 pick. Rumors are swirling that the Chargers are chasing after a high-profile player who was once considered one of the top prospects in the NFL.

With the Chargers looking to bolster their roster and make a serious run at the playoffs next season, this potential signing could be a game-changer for the team. Fans are buzzing with excitement at the prospect of adding such a talented player to their lineup.

While the identity of the former Top 3 pick remains a mystery, speculation is running rampant among Chargers fans and analysts alike. Could it be a star quarterback, a dominant pass rusher, or a shutdown cornerback? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure – the Chargers are not holding back when it comes to pursuing top-tier talent in free agency.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Chargers’ pursuit of this former Top 3 pick and what it could mean for the team’s chances next season. This could be the move that propels the Chargers to new heights in the NFL.

  • Raiders bringing in Chargers front office member for second interview

Chargers assistant general manager Chad Alexander will fly to Las Vegas on Monday for a second, in-person interview for the Raiders’ general manager position, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

Before coming to Los Angeles, Alexander spent five years as the Jets’ director of player personnel. He played a key role in New York drafting Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner, the 2022 Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year.

Before joining New York, Alexander spent 20 seasons with the Ravens, most of which was with general manager Joe Hortiz. He worked in various roles, from an area scout to serving as Baltimore’s Assistant Director of Pro Personnel in his final nine seasons.

Alexander attended the NFL’s Front Office & General Manager Accelerator Program in Dallas last month.

If Alexander is hired, it would be the second consecutive year in which the Raiders hired a general manager from the Chargers’ front office. Last year, they hired Tom Telesco, who was fired after one season in Las Vegas. Telesco was with the Bolts for 11 seasons.

The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly bringing in a member of the Los Angeles Chargers front office for a second interview for their vacant general manager position. This move comes after the team has been conducting an extensive search to find the right candidate to lead their front office.

The Chargers executive, who has not been named, is said to have impressed the Raiders during the initial interview process with their experience, vision, and leadership qualities. The team is looking for someone who can help turn around their franchise and lead them to success in the coming seasons.

This second interview could be a sign that the Raiders are serious about bringing in this front office member to help steer the ship in Las Vegas. Fans will be eagerly awaiting news of any potential hires as the team looks to make a splash in the front office this offseason. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.

    Scouting the Opposition

Findlay: Saturday brings another huge moment in the Hillsdale-Findlay rivalry, as the two programs meet in a contest with significant G-MAC title implications.

After back-to-back disappointing seasons with no postseason appearance, Findlay is fully back among the DII elite with a top 10 ranking in both polls and a 16-1 start marred only by a loss to fellow top 10 Ferris State.

The Oilers have embraced an up-tempo style that includes an 11-man rotation and extremely balanced scoring. Athletic sophomore forwards Will Aljancic and Jagger Landers are the primary weapons, but the pair gets plenty of support, including from hometown hero Jake Bishop, sixth-man Ian Ioppolo and veterans Anthony Johnson and Mason Brandt.

Findlay has been excellent both offensively and defensively, with their 19-point scoring margin among the nation’s best.

Undefeated in G-MAC play, the Oilers could put a stranglehold on the G-MAC lead with a victory over the Chargers, but if they fall, Hillsdale would move into a tie for first, and put pressure on Findlay to defend home court later in the season.

    Scouting the Chargers

Two more blowout victories last week have Hillsdale gaining separation on the rest of the G-MAC, as the Chargers, along with fellow conference unbeaten Findlay, now have a two-game edge on the other 10 teams in the standings.

Despite a young squad with only one returning starter in 2023-24, the Hillsdale College men’s basketball team put together a solid campaign, winning 18 games and keeping a streak of seven straight top four G-MAC finishes intact.

Now, as the calendar turns from the 2024-25 season, last year’s young squad at Hillsdale becomes one of the most veteran teams in the G-MAC, and a serious contender for the G-MAC crown and a potential return trip to the NCAA Tournament after a year’s absence.

Entering this winter, the Chargers go from returning only one starter to returning four of five starters, and 11 of 13 players that appeared in at least one game in the 2023-24 season. Leading the way is senior forward Joe Reuter, a two-time All-G-MAC selection who’s entering his third year as a starter and one of just three first-team All-G-MAC players from a year ago who are back for the 2024-25 season.

Reuter led Hillsdale in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks last season and should be one of the top players in the conference. He’ll be flanked by two more returning double-digit scorers in guards Charles Woodhams, a fifth-year senior, and Ashton Janowski, a junior. Both players came into their own last season as starters and scoring threats and give Hillsdale great toughness and continuity up front.

An area where the Chargers are hoping for major improvement is in the paint. Starting center CJ Yarian returns after a solid first season on the court for Hillsdale, while fellow sophomores Caleb Glaser and Garrett Bolte gained great experience off the bench and will look to continue growing as sophomores. The unit will get a big boost from a healthy Eric Radisevic, who contributed last year but was limited for much of the season by injuries. Now entering 2024-25 fully recovered, Radisevic could make a big impact for the Chargers, who lacked offensive punch from the center position at points in 2023-24 and could jump to another level as a team with better production down low.

Two players who could see their role grow as Hillsdale looks to replace the graduated Samuel Vasiu are sharpshooting sophomore Mikey McCollum and junior point guard Cole McWhinnie, both of whom excelled in substitute roles in 2023-24 and who will compete for more minutes this season.

Additionally, don’t count out two players coming off their redshirt years this season. Guard Logan Beaston and post Connor Stonebraker are both skilled offensive players and have the talent to carve out roles of their own on an experienced squad, while further bolstering the Chargers’ depth.

Head coach Keven Bradley returns for his second season at the helm after a solid first season, and brings back assistant Evan Morrissey for a second year, while adding Michigan native Travis Schuba to the coaching staff for this campaign as well.

    Matchup History

    • A nearby school and arch-nemesis of Hillsdale’s since both teams’ days in the GLIAC, Findlay has been a difficult challenge for Hillsdale for years, with a 58-14 edge all-time in a series dating back to the 1984-85 season. That said, there’s been a shift since both teams joined the G-MAC in 2017, as six of Hillsdale’s 14 wins against the Oilers have come in that stretch, and the two programs are 5-5 against each other since 2019-20. That includes a split last year, with Findlay winning 73-69 at home and the Chargers taking an 82-65 victory in Hillsdale.

    Other Notes

    • The Chargers were picked to finish second in the G-MAC Preseason Poll released in late October, with four first place votes. Defending champion Kentucky Wesleyan was picked to repeat, while defending G-MAC Tournament champion Walsh was picked to finish third. Since joining the league in 2017-18, Hillsdale has never finished lower than third in the final standings. Currently, Hillsdale is second in the G-MAC standings, a game behind Findlay, their opponent this Saturday, and a game ahead of Kentucky Wesleyan.
    • Hillsdale remains in the national rankings in both the coaches and media polls this week, sitting at 24th in the nation in the coaches poll and receiving votes in the nation in the media poll after a 15-4 start. This is the ninth straight week the Chargers have been nationally ranked. Hillsdale is one of five teams in the Midwest Region ranked or receiving votes in the NABC Coaches Poll, including G-MAC foe Findlay (5th), Ferris St. (8th), Missouri S&T (9th), Lake Superior St. (14th).
    • Hillsdale returns four starters from last year’s squad, headlined by returning All-G-MAC honoree Joe Reuter. The senior forward is a third-year starter and a two-time All-Conference player who also was named G-MAC Freshman of the Year for the 2021-22 season. Along with high scoring guards Ashton Janowski and Charles Woodhams, Reuter has been a key piece for Hillsdale so far, averaging 12 points per game while ranking fifth in the G-MAC in rebounds per game (7.3), 10th in assists per game (3.1), eighth in blocked shots per game (0.8) third in steals per game (1.6) and sixth in free throw percentage (.803). Reuter also is working his way up the all-time lists statistically at Hillsdale, as his 1,242 career points rank 25th all time, and he surpassed the 500-rebound milestone earlier this season.
    • Charles Woodhams has been Hillsdale’s leading scorer in 2024-25, and a consistent source of production for the Chargers. He has double-figure scoring in 16 of Hillsdale’s 18 games, including a 26-point outing that proved critical in a win at Ashland on Jan. 2. His efficiency for a guard offensively has been off the charts, coming close to the 50-40-90 bar that represents the peak of shooting brilliance with 51.1% on field goals, 43.2% on 3-pointers, and 77.6% on free throws.
    • Sophomore Mikey McCollum has been a huge asset for the Chargers off the bench, keeping Hillsdale’s second unit humming at a high level offensively even without the starters on the floor. McCollum is averaging 11.9 points per game, third most on the team, thanks to 34 made 3-pointers and a strong performance at the foul line.  Freshman Logan Beaston has been prolific from deep as well, with a team-leading 36 made 3-pointers in his first collegiate campaign.
    • The Chargers are playing at a high level so far at both ends of the floor, averaging 77.6 points per game offensively, and ranking first in the G-MAC and ninth in the nation in scoring defense at 63.4 points per game. Hillsdale’s 14-points-per-game scoring margin on opponents currently ranks 13th in NCAA DII.
    • Hillsdale is known for its excellent 3-point defense, and last year’s team was the best the Chargers have had at it since the 3-point line was introduced. Teams shot just 29.3% from deep on Hillsdale last season, the lowest among G-MAC squads and in the top 10 nationally. So far, through 18 games, Hillsdale has gone even lower, conceding just 27.9% from beyond the arc, which ranks first in the G-MAC by a significant margin and fifth in NCAA DII so far.
    • Another facet of Hillsdale’s excellent defense is its ability to control the defensive glass. The Chargers concede a G-MAC best 29.4 rebounds per game to opponents, seventh fewest at the NCAA DII level. The Chargers are also among league leaders in blocked shots this year, averaging three per game with 11 of 13 players who’ve seen the court recording at least one block for the Chargers.
    • Hillsdale prioritizes taking care of the basketball and passing to set up quality shots, and that’s reflected in the team’s strong assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.53, the 19th best mark nationally. That emphasis has helped the Chargers become one of the more efficient offensive teams in conference play, ranking third in the G-MAC in field goal percentage (48.8%), third in 3-point percentage (37.1%), and third in free throw percentage (75.4%).

  • Preview: Chargers transition to new era with talented, underclassman-heavy roster

The Hillsdale College baseball team enters the 2025 campaign this spring ready for a changing of the guard.

At the conclusion of the 2024 season, Hillsdale bid farewell to a massive senior class and 16 players in total, including three of the team’s four weekend starters and five every-day players in the field.

That departing production opens the door for a group of returning players to seize bigger roles, and for an exciting 15-player freshman class to make an early impact as the Chargers begin a new era.

While Hillsdale has big shoes to fill in its lineup in terms of offensive production, the cupboard is far from bare for the Chargers. Three of the team’s top six hitters return, led by sophomores Rocco Tenuta and Will Millard, who each hit above .280 with double-digit extra base hits as freshmen in 2024 and who will be mainstays for Hillsdale this season. The team’s best returning hitter overall might be senior Zak Kent, who seized a starting role in the outfield midway through 2024 and had the best batting average (.357), slugging percentage (.571) and on-base percentage (.423) among returners in 2024.

Along with those three, Hillsdale also brings back its starting shortstop and second baseman from last year in sophomores Aaron Jasiak and Tyler Turner, as well as another veteran infielder who got good playing time last season in Kaden Nowak. In the outfield, senior Augie Hutchison will get his shot to lock down a starting spot after three seasons playing behind veteran stars.

On the mound, Hillsdale brings back two players with significant starting experience in sophomore Daniel Higdon, who was one of the Chargers top pitchers before a late season injury, and senior Brandon Scott, who transitioned out of the bullpen late in the year and impressed in three starts. Sophomores Luke Miller, Hayden Hoffpauir, Jacob Pallo and Josh Novak all have year under their belt and will battle to lock down bigger roles this season.

The Chargers have options in the bullpen, including Jasiak, who excelled as a reliever on top of his hitting for Hillsdale last season, senior Andrew George and sophomore Logan McLaughlin, as well as pitchers from the group above who don’t land one of the four weekend starting jobs. The raw talent is there for Hillsdale to take a step forward as a staff, and that’s a key for the Chargers to have a successful 2025 – a 7.34 team ERA in 2024 was a major reason the team missed the G-MAC Tournament last season.

The X-factor for Hillsdale this season is that 15-player freshman class, one that’s full of talent and pedigree. While the lineup is still uncertain, it’s likely that multiple freshmen will end up starting in the field for the Chargers in 2025, and several of the six freshmen pitchers will see the field either in a starting or relief role. How much of an impact those freshmen can make could determine how successful of a season 2025 ends up being for Hillsdale.

The Chargers face a tough schedule in 2025 that includes 11 non-conference games against five teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2024, including four contests against DII College World Series squads. In conference play, Ashland won the regular season title and will return as the favorite in 2025, while Northwood was close behind. Hillsdale will play four game series against both teams.

Hillsdale opens the season in Tennessee on Feb. 8 with a doubleheader against host Lee, part of a three-game series with the Flames. The Chargers’ first home contest will be a midweek game at 4 p.m. on March 12 against Saginaw Valley State, and Hillsdale’s first home conference contest will be a doubleheader against Thomas More at 1 p.m. on March 29. You can find the entire 2025 schedule here.

The Los Angeles Chargers are gearing up for a new era as they transition to a talented, underclassman-heavy roster. With a mix of experienced veterans and up-and-coming young players, the Chargers are poised to make some noise in the upcoming season.

Led by quarterback Justin Herbert, who had a standout rookie season, the Chargers have a promising future ahead. Herbert will be supported by a strong core of young players on both sides of the ball, including running back Austin Ekeler, wide receiver Keenan Allen, and defensive end Joey Bosa.

Head coach Brandon Staley, who was hired in the offseason, brings a new energy and vision to the team. Staley’s defensive background should help shore up the Chargers’ defense, which struggled at times last season.

Overall, the Chargers are in a good position to compete in the AFC West and make a run at the playoffs. Keep an eye on this young, talented roster as they look to make a statement in the upcoming season.

  • Chargers look to continue historic recent run with big 2025 campaign

The Hillsdale College softball team enters 2025 with some historic opportunities in play.

Coming off a 34 win season in 2024, the Chargers have a chance to extend a record-setting streak of consecutive 30-win seasons to five, while also contending for a fifth-straight top two G-MAC finish and the program’s fifth NCAA DII Tournament appearance in seven years.

With excellence on the line, Hillsdale has a team on paper that’s well-positioned to accomplish those goals, thanks to significant returning talent from the 2024 squad.

It starts in the circle for the Chargers with senior Joni Russell, a three-time All-G-MAC honoree and a 2023 All-American who’s already set the program and G-MAC career strikeouts record and has virtually every major career pitching record at Hillsdale in her sights. Russell is one of only three All-G-MAC honorees at the pitcher position returning in 2025 and gives Hillsdale a true ace and one of the best players in the country on the mound to build around.

While Russell returns, Hillsdale has a big hole to fill for the second-game starter in doubleheaders with the graduation of Erin Kapteyn, a repeat All-G-MAC honoree and one of the best pitchers in program history in her own right. The Chargers do return junior Mackenzi Maxson, who put up solid numbers as a relief pitcher last season and could be in line for a breakout year. Hillsdale added to its staff’s depth in the offseason by bringing in two talented transfers – Anistyn Foster from South Alabama and Gracelynn Kelly from Minnesota-Crookston – as well as freshman Grace Harris, all of whom will get opportunities to play early in the season.

Hillsdale has the makings of another strong pitching staff, but the biggest leap could come offensively, with several key starters returning. The headliner is junior Maggie Olaveson, who had a breakout campaign in 2024 that saw her hit .378 with 14 doubles and 13 home runs on the way to All-G-MAC and All-Region honors.

Olaveson will lead most opponents’ scouting reports, but she’s one of several dangerous players in Hillsdale’s lineup. Seniors Hannah Hoverman and Emma Vis also bring impressive power bats, combining for 14 home runs between the two of them in 2024. Hillsdale also has strong options to get on base at the top of the batting order – third-year veterans Taylor Lewis and Emma Sather both have base-stealing speed and are poised for breakout seasons, while sophomore Sydney Davis hit .341 with just eight strikeouts in 132 at bats in one of the most impressive freshman campaigns at Hillsdale in recent memory in 2024.

Hillsdale graduated three every-day players in the lineup from last season, opening opportunities for players who saw limited action in 2024. Two players with experience who are returning from injuries – senior Ashley Strick and Anna Chellman – should play a significant role, while sophomores Medleigh Danchak and Emili Blackie and junior Katie Matzat also are in the mix.

In addition to the returners, Hillsdale added four promising freshmen hitters who will strengthen the team in key areas, and who also will get the chance to contribute this season.

The 2025 season should be an interesting one for the G-MAC, as defending champion Trevecca Nazarene departed the league for the Gulf South in the offseason, and graduation and transfer losses hit many teams hard. Expect traditional contenders like Ohio Dominican, Northwood and Findlay to reload and remain in the title hunt, while the roster turnover across the league could open the door for teams with continuity and young talent, like Malone and Ashland, to make their way into the conversation.

It should make for a wide open race for both the regular season title and spots in the G-MAC Tourney in Akron, Ohio in May, and Hillsdale should be right in the thick of that race.

Hillsdale opens the 2025 softball season with a weeklong trip to Hawaii that includes eight games in five days, beginning with contests against regional foes Lewis and Ferris State in Honolulu on Feb. 3. The Chargers also will play in the Rosemont Dome Invite in late February and make their annual spring break Florida trip in mid-March. Hillsdale’s first home contest will be against conference foe Tiffin on Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. You can find the full schedule for the 2025 season here.

The Los Angeles Chargers have been on a historic run in recent years, and they are looking to continue that success with a big 2025 campaign. After making the playoffs in the past few seasons, the Chargers are determined to take their game to the next level and compete for a Super Bowl title.

With a talented roster led by star quarterback Justin Herbert, the Chargers have the potential to be a dominant force in the NFL. Head coach Brandon Staley has been instrumental in the team’s success, implementing a strong defensive strategy and innovative offensive schemes.

The Chargers have made some key offseason acquisitions to bolster their roster, including adding playmakers on both sides of the ball. With a solid draft class and a healthy team heading into the season, the Chargers are poised for a successful 2025 campaign.

Fans are excited for what the future holds for the Chargers, and expectations are high for the upcoming season. Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Khalil Mack will play in the 2025 season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. After three seasons with the Chargers, he’s set to become a free agent.

After the Chargers’ loss to the Houston Texans in the wild-card round on Jan. 11, the 33-year-old Mack said he would take some time to decide his future. Apparently, he decided he has more football left to play.

Mack has played in at least 16 games in his three seasons with the Chargers, and finished the 2024 season with six sacks, down from 17 in 2023.

Mack has been named to nine Pro Bowls during his 11-year career, which also included stints with the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bears. The Bears traded Mack to the Chargers prior to the 2022 season. In 2016, Mack’s third season in the NFL, he was named Defensive Player of the Year.

    This story will be updated.

According to a recent report, star edge rusher Khalil Mack of the Los Angeles Chargers will be entering free agency and is set to play for a new team in the 2025 season. This news comes as a shock to many fans, as Mack has been a key player for the Chargers since being acquired in a blockbuster trade a few years ago.

Mack, a former Defensive Player of the Year, is expected to draw interest from multiple teams looking to bolster their pass rush. With his combination of speed, power, and technique, Mack is sure to be a hot commodity on the free agent market.

While it remains to be seen where Mack will ultimately end up, one thing is for certain: whichever team lands him will be getting a game-changing talent who can wreak havoc on opposing offenses. Stay tuned for more updates as free agency approaches! #KhalilMack #FreeAgency #Chargers #NFL

  • Chargers’ Khalil Mack makes announcement about NFL playing future

Los Angeles Chargers superstar edge rusher Khalil Mack isn’t calling it a career and hanging up the cleats just yet.

Mack, who admitted after the playoff loss to Houston that he was considering retirement, will indeed play in 2025 – meaning a possible trip to free agency.

RELATED: NFL execs predicting Chargers to make blockbuster WR trade

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Wednesday: “Nine-time Pro-Bowl LB Khalil Mack, who said after the Chargers’ postseason loss to the Texans that he needed to take some time to mull his future, will indeed play in the 2025 season, per source. Mack’s contract is up and he is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent.”

Mack, 33, could be in line for a massive contract on the open market despite the obvious, slight downward trend in production. The veteran played in 16 games while battling a nagging injury at times, recording six sacks, down from 17 the year prior. Regardless, he was instrumental in the Year 1 turnaround under Jesse Minter that produced an elite overall defense.

The Chargers are in a unique spot because Joey Bosa feels like a cut candidate, which is cap space the team could then apply to keeping Mack in town on a short-term deal.

Either way, Mack is now locked in for 2025 and just became one of the hottest names on NFL free agency big boards around the NFL.

Chargers’ Khalil Mack Makes Announcement About NFL Playing Future

In a surprising turn of events, star linebacker Khalil Mack of the Los Angeles Chargers has announced his decision regarding his future in the NFL. After weeks of speculation and rumors, Mack took to social media to share a heartfelt message with fans and teammates.

In his statement, Mack expressed gratitude for his time in the league and the opportunities it has provided him. However, he revealed that he has decided to step away from football to focus on his health and personal well-being.

“I have given my all to this game, but I realize that my health and happiness are more important than anything else,” Mack wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support of my teammates, coaches, and fans, but I know that it’s time for me to prioritize myself and my future.”

Mack’s decision has left many fans and analysts stunned, as he is considered one of the top defensive players in the league. However, the 30-year-old linebacker has made it clear that he is at peace with his choice and is looking forward to the next chapter of his life.

While the Chargers will certainly miss Mack’s presence on the field, they have expressed their support for his decision and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. As for Mack, he seems confident in his choice and is excited to see what the future holds.

It remains to be seen what Mack’s next steps will be, but one thing is for certain – his impact on the NFL will not be forgotten anytime soon. Fans will always remember his tenacity, skill, and leadership both on and off the field.
