The 35-year-old actress first sparked dating rumors with the director, 41, in July 2019 and went Instagram-official one month later.
Although they have kept most of their romance private, the pair announced their engagement in October 2020.
“I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together…” Collins captioned the series of photos from the romantic proposal.
McDowell — who is the son of actress Mary Steenburgen and actor Malcolm McDowell — popped the question with a unique “rose-cut” diamond.

“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” Collins, 35, wrote via Instagram on Friday, sharing a photo of the little one in a bassinet. “Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again …”
“Everyone has a different form of recovery. I never had an ‘aha’ moment,” Collins exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2017. “My reason to finally start talking about [my eating disorder] was the moment I realized I wanted a family. I wanted kids. I didn’t want this to be something I bring into that.”
The U.K. native and McDowell, son of actress Mary Steenburgen and stepson of actor Ted Danson, met on the set of his film Gilded Rage in 2019. Sparks quickly flew between the couple and the twosome made their relationship Instagram official in August 2019.
Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell tied the knot after two years of dating — but their relationship was love at first sight. The duo were first linked in early 2019, with the Emily in Paris star making the romance Instagram official that August. Just over one year later, Mary Steenburgen’s son popped the question. “It […]
“Always got your back…,” Collins captioned a series of pictures of her and the director in Paris.
In September 2020, the To the Bone star took to Instagram to announce that she and McDowell were officially engaged.
“I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together,” Collins wrote alongside a kissing photo of the couple.
Scarlett Johansson and more celebrity parents have welcomed “secret” babies over the years. Johansson shares daughter Rose, born in 2014, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac and son Cosmo, born in 2021, with husband Colin Jost. She kept her second pregnancy under wraps, though Jost spilled the beans during a comedy show. “We’re having a baby,” Jost […]
“I was very surprised as to when and where it would happen, but it was one of those situations where I knew the second that I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day,” Collins shared at the time.
She went on to explain more details about how the proposal went down.
“It was all very much pre-planned,” Collins told Kelly Ripaand Ryan Seacrest. “He did a self-timer video, which we were then able to then later get screen grabs. But he set the whole thing up without me knowing, obviously. … I was very, very surprised by it, but it’s exactly what I would’ve wanted, and he knew me so well.”

The Bruins will have a big return when they take on the ice against the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden on Thursday.
Boston activated defenseman Charlie McAvoy off injured reserve, as announced by general manager Don Sweeney in a press release. Max Jones was assigned to Providence in a corresponding move.
McAvoy missed the last seven games due to an upper-body injury and had been out since Jan. 11. The 27-year-old will suit up Thursday on the same day he was announced as an alternate captain for Team USA in the 4Nations Face-Off.
“We’re excited … having Charlie out for the length that he was out, it’s great to have him back,” interim head coach Joe Sacco told reporters, per Eric Russo of BostonBruins.com. “He seems to be in a really good spirit right now. He’s got some good practices under his belt. He looked good in the morning skate today. We’re excited to have him back in our lineup and help stabilize the back end for us.”
McAvoy is projected to pair with Mason Lohrei, which could provide the Black and Gold a boost on offense.

“We both like to use our legs and create offense,” Lohrei told reporters, per BostonBruins.com. “I’m excited, excited anytime I get to play with him. He’s a great player, makes everyone else on the ice better. Pumped to have him back.”
Puck drop for Bruins-Jets is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
After missing the last 20 games due to an upper-body injury, Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy is finally set to make his return to the lineup for their upcoming matchup. With his return imminent, Bruins fans and coaching staff alike are eager to see what they can expect from the young defenseman in his first game back.
McAvoy, known for his strong defensive play and ability to contribute offensively, will be expected to provide a much-needed boost to the Bruins’ blue line. His return should help solidify the team’s defense and provide a spark on the power play.
In his absence, the Bruins have struggled at times defensively, so McAvoy’s return should help shore up their back end and provide a more balanced defensive effort. Additionally, his offensive prowess will be a welcome addition, as the Bruins have struggled to generate consistent scoring chances in recent games.
Overall, Bruins fans can expect McAvoy to bring his trademark intensity and competitiveness to his first game back, as he looks to make an immediate impact and help lead the team to victory. His presence on the ice will undoubtedly be a welcome sight for Bruins fans and players alike, as they look to continue their push towards the playoffs.
The Bruins are about to embark on a three-game homestand at TD Garden, with the first matchup coming on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets.
Boston will have the benefit of two stalwarts returning to the lineup.
Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo will re-enter the fold, with the former snapping a seven-game absence from his undisclosed upper-body injury and the latter returning after a short illness.
“We’re excited,” Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco said on Thursday, per team-provided transcription. “… Having Charlie out for the length that he was out, it’s great to have him back. He seems to be in a really good spirit right now. He’s got some good practices under his belt. He looked good in the morning skate today. We’re excited to have him back in our lineup and help stabilize the back end for us.”
Joonas Korpisalo will get the start over Jeremy Swayman.

After missing the last seven games with an upper-body injury, defenseman Charlie McAvoy is set to make his return to the Boston Bruins lineup tonight against the Winnipeg Jets. The 24-year-old blueliner has been sorely missed on the back end, and his presence will be a welcome sight for the Bruins as they look to continue their winning ways.
Here are the projected lines and pairings for tonight’s game:
Forwards:
Brad Marchand – Patrice Bergeron – David Pastrnak
Taylor Hall – Charlie Coyle – Craig Smith
Jake DeBrusk – Erik Haula – Nick Foligno
Trent Frederic – Sean Kuraly – Karson Kuhlman
Defense:
Matt Grzelcyk – Charlie McAvoy
Derek Forbort – Brandon Carlo
Mike Reilly – Connor Clifton
Goalies:
Jeremy Swayman
Linus Ullmark
With McAvoy back in the lineup, the Bruins’ defense gets a major boost and will be looking to shut down the high-powered Jets offense. It will be interesting to see how McAvoy’s return impacts the team’s overall play, but one thing is for sure – having him back on the ice is a huge positive for the Bruins as they continue to push for a playoff spot.
Kevin Kisner out. Charlie Woods in. That’s the prevalent sentiment midway through the second match of Jupiter Links. Kisner struggled in the first match itself, hitting into the water, and then pulling off a shank no one ever thought was possible with a wedge. The Kiz Show is still going on in the second match of the Jupiter Links GC. The veteran golfer has the chops for self-deprecation but that’s not the only skill fans expect to see from him.
In the second match in TGL, this time against, Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, and Adam Scott’s Boston Common Golf, Kisner was once again struggling. Jupiter Links threw the hammer on the second hole, confident enough to win and rake in two points.
But Kisner missed the putt forcing Tom Kim to come to rescue. They eventually lost the hammer as Boston tied the hole. In the last match, other than a few haywire approach shots and drives, Kisner’s highlight was the bizarre shank. The veteran pro, who moonlights as an analyst for Golf Channel as well, fired his wedge straight at the flagstick. The ball hit the flagstick and jetted off to the sides.

It left everyone in splits. “We honestly didn’t think that anyone could possibly get hit in here. But that was one of the funniest moments I’ve ever seen, Kis hitting that shot like that. We were just dying,” said the Tiger Woods at that time. He still included Kisner in the team in place of Max Homa. Nevertheless, as the four-time PGA Tour winner continued to put the team in a difficult position, some fans actually wanted him replaced and subbed out from the team.
Fans want to see Charlie Woods and it’s not a bad idea
Ironically, Kevin Kisner asked Charlie to come down in the previous match. ““You wanna come and play? Come sub in, man! Bring in the righty.” Some fans would actually want that to happen. “Charlie Woods would probably be a significant improvement over Kevin Kisner who should be permanently benched,” noted one frustrated fan.”Can @JupiterLinksGC sub in Charlie for Kisner?!” wrote one user. Of course, that is not happening. Not at least in this season. Notably, TGL doesn’t allow substitution within a match as well.

It’s not a bad idea though. Firstly, the veteran golfer indeed looks out of place in front of a simulator. Secondly, Woods Jr., being a teenager with a quite impressive game, would benefit the team more. Plus, of course, you can’t rule out the charm of watching the father-son duo teeing off together week in and week out. Then the teenager is an elite trash talker, who, if mic’d up wouldn’t refrain from throwing darts at his dad’s colleagues. He is actually in the arena and offering tips to his father.
Referring to his shank from the last time, Kyle Porter, former CBS writer and current betting analyst at TGL, tweeted, “I am convinced that Jupiter declined the hammer not because they weren’t going to win the hole but to keep the fans safe from another Kevin Kisner bunker shot.” Alex Myers, Senior Writer at Golf Digest, actually joked that Woods is facing a more difficult task than the 2008 US Open, where he played with a broken leg and still won his 14th major title in a Monday playoff. “Tiger Woods winning a TGL match with Kevin Kisner as a teammate would be more impressive than him winning a U.S. Open on a broken leg.”
Tiger Woods winning a TGL match with Kevin Kisner as a teammate would be more impressive than him winning a U.S. Open on a broken leg.
While, Frankie Borrelli of Barstool Sports wrote, “Kevin Kisner walks into the TGL arena and every ounce of skill in his body stays in the parking lot.” The 40-year-old somewhat redeemed himself with a clutch 10-footer putt on the 8th hole. A few minutes before that Kisner actually hit probably his best shot in TGL, a spectacular approach on the 7th. But he still has a long way to go before he has the fans convinced of his worth. Till then fans will keep calling for Charlie Woods.
It seems like the pressure is mounting for Kevin Kisner as fans and critics alike are calling for him to be benched in favor of the young prodigy, Charlie Woods. Kisner’s recent performance in The Golf League (TGL) has been nothing short of disastrous, with missed putts, errant drives, and lackluster play all around.
Many are pointing to Woods as the solution to TGL’s woes, noting his impressive skills and potential to turn things around for the struggling team. With Kisner’s lack of results and ongoing struggles, the calls for his firing are only getting louder.
Will TGL make the bold move to sub in Charlie Woods and give him a chance to shine? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain – the pressure is on for Kisner to step up his game or risk losing his spot on the team. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
Lola Sheen is opening up about one of her most emotional moments. The daughter of Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards documented her baptism at the age of 19, following a series of personal struggles, which she described as a “battle.” However, Lola admitted that she now feels better and has experienced growth after hitting “rock bottom.”
“When I was in my deepest depression, there was a moment where I realized I hit rock bottom. I felt so lost and hopeless, and was just doing my best to make it to the next day,” Lola shared on social media, posting photos of her baptism earlier this year.
“I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever, and thought I would never genuinely laugh again. Until, I met not only my Savior but my best friend, Jesus,” she said about her personal struggles and battle with anxiety and depression.
“Jesus saved me from battling severe anxiety, and gave me a peace that makes no sense. I now find myself laughing again, in places I only had cried,” she added, showing photos of the moment she was baptized after finding her faith.
“Jesus fulfilled His promise of making me new, and completely renewed my mind. Jesus is the only reason why I’m here today and made my life worth living,” the daughter of the two actors wrote on Instagram.
Following the life-changing moment, Lola is planning to launch a podcast about “walking with Jesus and walking through life.” She also detailed her experience on YouTube. “I have been wanting to share how God has transformed my life for so long, and I’m so happy I’m finally doing so,” she declared. “I can’t wait to see how Jesus uses this podcast, and I couldn’t be more excited. I love you and God loves you more.”
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ daughter, Sami Sheen, has reportedly hit ‘rock bottom’ and is now in a ‘battle’ to overcome her struggles.
The 17-year-old has been open about her mental health issues and substance abuse problems on social media, sharing her journey with her followers. Sami has been candid about her struggles with anxiety, depression, and addiction, and has been receiving treatment to help her cope with these challenges.
According to sources close to the family, Sami’s parents are deeply concerned about her well-being and are doing everything they can to support her through this difficult time. Both Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have expressed their love and support for their daughter, and are working together to ensure she gets the help she needs.
Sami’s battle with her mental health and addiction issues serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking help and support when facing difficult times. It is clear that she is not alone in her struggles, and that her parents are standing by her side as she works towards recovery.
We can only hope that Sami Sheen finds the strength and resources she needs to overcome her challenges and emerge stronger on the other side. Our thoughts and prayers are with her during this difficult time.

Sheen and Richards’ daughter Lola has opened up about the spiritual and mental renewal she experienced after finding her faith.
Sharing images from her baptism, Lola took to her Instagram account to note how she went through a tough time in her life and dealt with “deep depression” that led her to hit “rock bottom.”
However, things seemingly changed when she met “not only my savior but my best friend, Jesus.”
“I felt so lost and hopeless, and was just doing my best to make it to the next day,” Lola wrote in the caption. “I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever and thought I would never genuinely laugh again. Until, I met not only my Savior but my best friend, Jesus.”
The teenager dubbed the experience as “supernatural,” adding that her savior became her “sun” and loved her when she “didn’t feel worthy of love.”
Lola Says Jesus Saved Her From ‘Battling Severe Anxiety’
Although Lola didn’t point out the exact ordeal she had experienced, she noted in the caption that her anxiety took a toll on her.
“Jesus saved me from battling severe anxiety, and gave me a peace that makes no sense. I now find myself laughing again, in places I only had cried,” she wrote. “Jesus fulfilled His promise of making me new, and completely renewed my mind. Jesus is the only reason why I’m here today and made my life worth living.”
Lola explained that she decided to get baptized because she “made it through this year only by the strength of Jesus.”
Earlier this month, she shared a clip from her baptism accompanied by a verse from Psalms, much to the admiration of friends, fans, and loved ones.
Lola has since launched a faith-based podcast titled “Heavenly Bonded,” about “walking with Jesus and walking through life.”
“I have been wanting to share how God has transformed my life for so long, and I’m so happy I’m finally doing so,” she wrote in the description. “I can’t wait to see how Jesus uses this podcast, and I couldn’t be more excited. I love you, and God loves you more.”
Lola’s Life Is Quite Different From Her Sister’s Sami
Instagram | Sami Sheen
Lola’s life seems to contrast with her elder sister Sami’s. Since joining OnlyFans shortly after her 18th birthday in 2022, Sami has found success as a model on the platform.
Sheen and Richards married in 2002 but began to experience marital troubles shortly before welcoming Lola in 2005.
In a 2020 episode of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Richards explained that their relationship began to “change rapidly” while she was pregnant with Lola.
“It was a very dark time. Very toxic. And I filed for divorce when I was six months pregnant with her,” Richards shared at the time, per Page Six.
Charlie Sheen And Denise Richards Disagreed Over Sami’s Decision To Join OnlyFans
MEGA
It was a battle of blame game between the estranged couple after their daughter Sami joined OnlyFans.
According to Page Six, the “Two and a Half Men” star blamed his ex-wife Richards for Sami joining the platform at the time.
“She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. This did not occur under my roof,” he said. “I do not condone this, but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”
Shortly after, Richards defended herself, explaining that the decision wasn’t based on whose house Sami was living in.
“Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in. All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices,” Richards told the news outlet.
Charlie Sheen ‘Changed His Tune’ After Seeing How Much His Daughter Made On OnlyFans
MEGA
Although Sheen initially stood firmly against Sami’s OnlyFans career, his opinion allegedly changed due to how lucrative it became for his daughter.
Richards confirmed this when she revealed on a podcast in November 2023 that Sheen felt differently after seeing how much money Sami has made off OnlyFans.
“He changed his tune when she bought a Mercedes and moved into a house,” the reality TV star said, per the New York Post.
In a recent turn of events, Charlie Sheen’s 19-year-old daughter, Sami Sheen, has made a life-changing decision to get baptized after hitting what she describes as “rock bottom.” In a heartfelt Instagram post, Sami shared her journey to finding faith and how Jesus saved her.
Sami opened up about her struggles with mental health and addiction, revealing that she had reached a dark place in her life before finding solace in her newfound faith. She expressed gratitude for the support of her family and friends throughout her journey and credited Jesus for giving her strength and a newfound sense of purpose.
The young Sheen also shared photos from her baptism ceremony, showing her beaming with joy and surrounded by loved ones. In her caption, she wrote, “I have hit rock bottom and I have completely fallen apart. But Jesus saved me. He gave me a purpose and showed me that I am loved unconditionally. Today, I am reborn in Christ and ready to begin a new chapter in my life.”
Fans and followers flooded Sami’s post with messages of love and support, commending her bravery and resilience in sharing her story. Many praised her for taking a positive step towards healing and finding peace in her faith.
It’s inspiring to see Sami Sheen’s journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth, and we wish her all the best in her continued path towards healing and happiness. Jesus truly does save, and Sami’s story is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of faith.

Laura Ingraham was left red-faced after an awkward hot mic moment as she introduced Charlie Kirk on her Fox News show.
A disembodied voice could be heard saying an expletive – “Oh s***!” – as Ingraham launched into a live segment with the conservative commentator.
The Fox host raised her voice in what appeared to be a belated attempt to cover up the hot mic gaffe, but she was unsuccessful.
“Joining me now, someone who knows a little bit about this, Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA founder,” said Ingraham, trying her best to ignore the off-camera interruption.
Being a pro, Ingraham pushed on, saying: “Charlie, it’s great to see you. Do you trust that Zuckerberg and these other CEOs have really turned a corner?”
Kirk gave no indication he heard the voice, answering: “Well, they’ve performatively turned a corner, which is a good first step.”
He continued, saying the environment for Trump’s second administration is very different from his first.
“Just to think that on the dais, you’re going to have Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos, who back in 2017, they were just boycotting the inauguration,” he said. “Back in 2017, the first inauguration was met with resistance, marches, protests, people saying they’re gonna leave the country, fighting Trump tooth and nail…Whereas now in the Trump second term, it’s really the acquiescence. It is the bending of the knee.”
According to a source at Fox, the remark was no reflection on the Turning Point USA founder. Mediaite was told a staffer was reacting after making a mistake with another guest’s microphone.
“The audio operator accidentally slid the wrong fader which was allotted for a different guest. That guest in turn was adjusting his IFB at the time and said, ‘oh s***’ which was accidentally transmitted on the air,” reported the insider.
That didn’t stop social media users from trolling the controversial Kirk.
“In fairness this is the sound i make when Charlie Kirk is on my TV,” journalist Aaron Rupar wrote on X.
“They should introduce all the guests with this audio,” added PatriotTakes.
Fox News has been contacted for comment.
Last November, another Fox host, Bret Baier, also had to deal with a hot mic embarrassment when an off-camera voice could be heard muttering “Oh Lord!” when he was talking about the future of the GOP.
“You know, the question is, what the Republican Party looks like now. It’s a multiracial party, to your point, it’s working class, and maybe it’s the future. I mean, it’s Elon Musk. It is Joe Rogan and podcasts.”
The voice was heard when Baier mentioned Musk’s name.
Fox News Gives Charlie Kirk Profane Welcome in Hot Mic Gaffe
Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was in for a surprise when he made an appearance on Fox News, only to be greeted with a profane welcome in a hot mic gaffe. As the cameras were rolling, an unidentified individual could be heard saying, "Who the f**k invited this guy?" before quickly realizing their mistake.
The incident quickly went viral on social media, with many viewers expressing shock and amusement at the unfiltered moment caught on live television. Kirk, known for his outspoken conservative views, appeared unfazed by the incident and continued with his segment as planned.
Fox News issued a statement apologizing for the language used during the incident, stating that it was not reflective of their standards. However, many viewers couldn’t help but see the humor in the situation, with some even jokingly suggesting that the unidentified individual should be given their own show.
Despite the unexpected welcome, Kirk remained composed and professional throughout his appearance, proving once again that he is a seasoned commentator capable of handling any situation thrown his way. Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Charlie Kirk knows how to navigate the world of political commentary with ease.
