Talented pacer Harshit Rana, who has played two Tests, quite surprisingly made a surprise entry into the India playing XI in the fourth T20I against England in Pune on Friday. Though initially not named in the XI, Rana was called upon to replace allrounder Shivam Dube as a concussion substitute after the latter was struck on the helmet in the final over of India’s innings. Dube, who scored 53, was hit on the helmet in the penultimate ball of the Indian innings by a Jamie Overton delivery.
Following the mandatory concussion test, Dube was cleared to play. However, he was run out on the final delivery of the innings.
Rana, who had recently played in the opening Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, came in to bowl in the 12th over and made an immediate impact, dismissing Liam Livingstone for 9. Rana finished with three wickets.
England skipper Jos Buttler appeared unhappy with the decision and was seen having a discussion with the umpires on the field. According to ICC’s rules, teams are only allowed to name like-for-like replacements if a batsman is ruled out due to a concussion.

On her podcast, Khloe reveals a “pivotal” moment in her marriage to Odom amid his drug use … and explains why she allowed Tristan in the delivery room 48 hours after learning he cheated on her.
Khloe Kardashian is looking back at two particularly difficult moments in her life — weathering a substance abuse issue with ex-husband Lamar Odom , as well as a cheating scandal with the father of her two children, Tristan Thompson .
On the latest episode of her Khloe In Wonder Land podcast, Kardashian sat down with author Mel Robbins for an hour all about how to “Change Your Mindset,” as the pair shared tips on building up resilience while Khloe also offered insight into her own struggles.
During the chat, Odom came up when Khloe was asked whether she’s ever been in a situation “where you know what you need to do but you can’t make yourself do it.”
“I remember, I was married and my ex-husband had a drug addiction. And I knew that his addiction always heightened — he was in the NBA — and I knew his addiction always heightened when he had his off-season, cause idle time is the devil’s playground,” Khloe said.
“And so I remember he was asked to go to Team USA, if I remember correctly, and I was begging, ‘Please, please go to Team USA,’ and I was pushing, and I remember he just looked at me and said, ‘You can’t want it more than I do,’” she recalled.
“I remember when he said you can’t want it more than me, he’s like, ‘You want to suit up? because can’t suit up and I don’t want it,” said Khloe, calling it a “so profound” moment in her life and their marriage.
“It’s so silly, because I know that. But I wanted it so badly, because I wanted to help him and to get him to feel the motivation and feel good, but he just wasn’t in that place,” she added. “I was like, I know what I need to do and it took me a long time to get to, then I had to file for divorce, but that came after.”
Calling it a “very pivotal moment in my life,” Khloe said it’s when she realized she “can’t want your life more than you.”
Later in the episode, Odom came up again when she recalled the first time seeing him party in Las Vegas. While she initially said she thought it was “just how he blows off steam” she realizes that wasn’t the case now.
“In hindsight, I was like, I don’t wanna be with someone that does [drugs] even just a little. Because it could easily be a slippery slope,” she shared. “But you are in love and you’re like, ‘It’s fine.’”
“I remember it would then turn into two days in a row,” she said of his partying, adding that it took her a year and a half to realize “the extent of what was going on” with his substance abuse because “he was really good at concealing it.”
During the conversation, Kardashian also looked back at how she handled Tristan Thompson’s first cheating scandal — which was made public just as a then-pregnant Khloe was about to give birth to their first child, True Thompson.
“Well the crazy thing is I would draw back to the feelings I had with Lamar — Lamar was my first husband — I knew how to deal with this media scandal. And I was in Cleveland, Ohio, so like let me just stay here for a little bit because that’s where I gave birth,” she recalled.
“And I just knew sort of to stay away from the noise, which L.A. has a lot of noise,” Khloe continued, adding that she also “stayed away from my phone” and “definitely isolated” herself after giving birth. “I never left my house for a few months, I was just with her,” she added.
“I built this little cocoon for us and it was the most magical experience. I wasn’t in denial about all the noise, I didn’t want to pay attention to it,” she added.
She also gave more insight into why Thompson was allowed into the delivery room when she gave birth — after being asked whether she wanted him there at all after his affair.
“And I remember when Tristan had an affair, it was public and I gave birth 48 hours later. And people were like, ‘Do you want him in the hospital room when you’re giving birth?’” she remembered. “And it was my first baby and I said, ‘I do and let’s all act like this didn’t happen.’ Because my daughter’s going to see this home footage one day.”
“I was thinking for my daughter True. And I get sad if I ever see myself because I can tell I’m blank and it’s an out-of-body experience. I just went into autopilot,” she continued. “And I just went into, I’m not here, I was not present. But my body was there, I gave birth, I did what I had to do.”
The decision was all for True, she added, saying that she wanted her daughter to know that her “dad was in the room” when she was born.
“And then when it was done, I was like, ‘I can’t talk to you’ when I put my home camera down,” Khloe concluded. “But I made sure to do what I needed to do for her.”
That, of course, wasn’t Thompson’s only scandal. He later allegedly made a move on Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods in 2020, before, in 2021, he welcomed a child with Maralee Nichols while he and Khloe were preparing to welcome their second son, Tatum, together.

On a Wednesday, Jan. 29 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the Good American co-founder, 40, chatted with guest Mel Robbins and spoke about her decision to let ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, 33, stay in the delivery room with her when she welcomed their daughter True after learning 48 hours earlier that he cheated on her.
Robbins asked Kardashian how she dealt with the fallout of Thompson’s cheating scandal, which prompted the mom of two to say that she drew from feelings from her first marriage to guide her.
“Well the crazy thing is I would draw back to the feelings I had with Lamar [Odom] — Lamar was my first husband —where I would say, ‘Okay.’ I knew how to deal with this media scandal,” she explained. “And I was in Cleveland, Ohio so like let me just stay here for a little bit because that’s where I gave birth.”

During Harbaugh’s final season at Michigan in 2023, analyst Connor Stalions resigned from his role with the team amid an NCAA investigation into allegations that he was the leader of an illegal sign-stealing operation.
The Wolverines went a perfect 15-0 and won the national championship in 2023, but Harbaugh left his alma mater at the end of the season to take the Chargers’ head coaching job.
During the 2023 campaign, Harbaugh had to serve a pair of suspensions due to NCAA violations.
The first suspension was a self-imposed, three-game ban as a result of recruiting violations, and then he served another three-game suspension later in the season as punishment for the sign-stealing scandal.
Sherrone Moore, who is now the head coach at Michigan, won all six games as the interim head coach while Harbaugh was out, and Harbaugh was allowed to return for the Big Ten Championship Game and the College Football Playoff.
Back in August, after Harbaugh had already left for the NFL, the NCAA provided Michigan with a formal Notice of Allegations related to the sign-stealing investigation.
Several current and former members of the Michigan football program, including Harbaugh, were accused of committing Level I violations.
On Tuesday, Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports reported that Michigan intends to fight the NCAA on the allegations, with the university stating that the NCAA is “grossly overreaching” and “wildly overcharging” the program.
In his first season back in the NFL, Harbaugh led the Chargers to an 11-6 record and a playoff berth, marking the fourth time in his five seasons as an NFL head coach that he secured a playoff berth.
As for Michigan, the Wolverines took a big step back from 2023 to 2024, finishing 8-5. However, Michigan did beat rival and eventual national championship-winning Ohio State for a fourth consecutive year.
Bielema, who coached Wisconsin in the Big Ten from 2006 to 2012, returned to the conference with Illinois in 2021 after a five-year run at Arkansas.
He led the Fighting Illini to a 10-3 mark in 2024, which was their best record since 2001 when they went 10-2.
Included in those 10 wins was a 21-7 home triumph over a Michigan team that was the No. 24-ranked squad in the nation at the time of the game.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is warning players of the consequences for cheating, just ahead of the expected release of in-game trading later this week.
In an announcement pushed to the app yesterday, players were warned about violations of the Terms of Service that specifically relate to cheating:
“We are aware that some players have engaged in data tampering, real money trading, and other behaviors that violate the Terms of Use,” reads the in-game notice. “If we confirm that a player has engaged in behavior that violates the Terms of Use, we will warn them, suspend their account, or take other action.”
No further details were offered as to what behaviors, specifically, are being targeted. Players on r/PTCGP have been speculating that this warning is related to a few different behaviors. One of these, referred to as Wonder Pick Farming, is a practice where individuals mass-create new accounts to take advantage of the many free packs available for new players, and try to roll a “god pack,” or a super rare pack of cards with five very rare cards. Then, they offer their friend code to others for money, so that buyers can add them as friends and then see the “god pack” in the game’s Wonder Pick function and be guaranteed a very rare card.
Another behavior speculated to be the target of a crackdown is a practice where players will grind accounts to level 50 with plenty of banked currency by participating in PvP battles over and over, using the game’s timeout function to stall games until the opponent concedes so they can win repeatedly.
Beyond that, it’s possible that the warning was simply published because of the game’s upcoming trading feature release, which could potentially kickstart a new wave of inappropriate behavior, especially where “real money trading” is concerned. The trading feature, which was panned by fans upon announcement, allows players to trade cards of one star rarity and below with friends. Players have expressed frustration with both the rarity limit on trading, as well as the need to spend some sort of currency to make the trade happen in the first place.

Elon Musk admitted he cheated at video games to get high scores, a transcript of a private online conversation he had shows, seemingly concluding a fiery scandal over the billionaire’s outlandish claims to be a globally-ranked player.
Musk has regularly bragged about his gaming rankings. He told the podcaster Joe Rogan last year that he was in the top 20 players in the world for the fiendishly difficult action role-playing game Diablo IV.
His claims have raised questions about how the world’s richest man could find time to compete internationally. He would need to have played hundreds of hours in between running businesses including Tesla Inc, X and SpaceX, as well as his growing political activity alongside Donald Trump.
Two games Musk says he has high scores in, Diablo IV and Path of Exile 2, are notoriously hard to compete in. Some players spend most of their waking hours “grinding” through dungeons and battling monsters and other fantastical creatures to make their virtual characters more powerful.
An answer to Musk’s unlikely gaming prowess was provided in a video posted on YouTube on Sunday by the top Diablo player NikoWrex, which showed what he said was a direct message conversation with Musk on X.
In the conversation, Musk admits to “account boosting”, a cheating practice in which people get other players to power up their characters. This is usually done by paying them to play for hours.
“Have you level boosted (had someone else play your accounts) and/or purchased gear/resources for PoE2 [Path of Exile 2] and Diablo 4?” asked NikoWrex. Musk responded with a 100% emoji. He later added: “It’s impossible to beat the players in Asia if you don’t, as they do!”
He said in the video that Musk had permitted him to publish their conversation. The Guardian has contacted Musk through X for comment.
Uproar about Musk’s alleged video game prowess exploded after his comments on Rogan’s podcast in November, and further scrutiny came at the beginning of the year when he did a livestream of his Path of Exile 2 character on X.

“I found out my ex-boyfriend was cheating on me. This was decades ago,” Barrymore explained to guest SZA. “I took all of his stuff in my house and I put it all in his car and then I rolled his car down his driveway and left it there and just walked away.”
