    Here Are The ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Skins Coming To ‘Fortnite’


    Fortnite is the home of a million crossovers, most recently of which has included Mariah Carey, of all people. But now the game is treading into territory I am very well familiar with, releasing skins from my favorite game of all time, Cyberpunk 2077. Think I’m crazy for saying that? Go and play it in its “final form” now. You’ll get it.

    We now know who and what from Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Fortnite, and while I think there should have been double the amount of skins, I am not surprised with who has been picked. Here’s what we know, and this stuff will hit the shop on Monday, December 23, via dataminers:

    • V Skin (1,500 V-Bucks)
    • Johnny Silverhand Skin (1,500 V-Bucks)
    • Johnny’s Katana (800 V-Bucks), Wrap (500) and Emote
    • V’s Mantis Blades (800 V-Bucks), Quadra Vehicle (1,800 V-Bucks)

    A few things to note here. First, we do not know whether this V is going to be one specific gender, or maybe both. However, Fortnite just posted an official teaser for the collab that only features female V. I would argue she is the better choice in the game itself, but as is the nature of games, she had a much lower % pick rate than male V. It seems like the obvious option here is to have both of them, but there’s no word on that, or if it could be buy-one-get-one as an alternate style. Fortnite has not really dealt with the “created character” issue from video game crossovers much. Regardless, they are certainly sure to look like the default versions used to promote the game.

    Johnny showing up as the second skin is no surprise. This will be the second skin to feature Keanu Reeves’ likeness in the game, the first being John Wick (and before that, Fortnite had its own bootleg John Wick), This is another thing that doesn’t happen often, and the only example I can think of is a double Zendaya feature for Chani from Dune and Mary Jane from Spider-Man.

    Finally, Mantis Blades as a mining tool? Oh, absolutely yes. That is instantly going to be one of the coolest tools in the game, right up there with Wolverine claws, I’d argue. I am guessing these are not exclusively for V, but I do wonder if they will have some sort of special “pop out” animation or something. Probably not, but either way, very cool.

    Sometimes with big crossovers Epic circles back to release more skins, and I would kill for Judy and Panam skins to join these as the other two most iconic characters from this game. But alas, we only have the leads right now.

    I am sure visuals of the skins will leak pretty soon, and I will be picking these up immediately. I don’t think Johnny would appreciate being sold as a microtransaction in Fortnite, however. V wouldn’t care so long as she got paid.

    With an extensive list of films to choose from, Hulu continues to be a reliable streaming service for anyone’s movie night. Next month proves to be no different as the platform offers its subscribers a plethora of options to enjoy. Viewers will certainly want to ring in the New Year with any one of the numerous films Hulu has slated for release next month.

    Directed by Ben Affleck, The Town is a crime thriller that follows Doug MacRay (Ben Affleck), the leader of a group of ruthless Boston bank robbers. With no real attachments in life, except for his best friend and de facto brother, James (Jeremy Renner), Doug doesn’t waste his time with relationships. However, everything shifts for him after James takes a bank employee, Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall), hostage during one of their heists. In an effort to find out what she may or may not know, Doug seeks her out, only to eventually fall in love. As their relationship blossoms, Doug wishes to leave the criminal world behind. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. The film also includes performances by Jon Hamm, Blake Lively, Titus Welliver, Pete Postlethwaite, Chris Cooper, and Slaine. The Town is streaming on January 1.

    Fall is a psychological horror survival film that follows two best friends, Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), who are both avid climbers. However, Becky suffers a tragic loss when her husband, Dan (Mason Gooding), loses his footing while mountain climbing and falls to his death. Becky then becomes an alcoholic and swears off climbing for good.

    However, given that the pair don’t speak the same language and their translator is broken, communicating with one another proves to be difficult. When he realizes they only have one shot at being rescued, he and Koa are forced to travel through foreign terrain. Rife with various deadly creatures of a prehistoric variety, their fight for survival turns into an epic battle no one expected. 65 is streaming on January 8.

    The Best British Crime Shows of 2024

    These series not only satisfied audiences with mysteries they can sink their teeth into but also offered gratifying tension.

    Unfortunately, a criminal, Mason Lynch (Mekhi Phifer), and his gang of crooks and corrupt cops are determined to prevent her from doing so and manage to find her. They nearly kill her before Frank intervenes. However, as the pair try to escape, a standoff in the apartment building where Ava lives emerges, and they’re left with nowhere to go.     ‘Arcadian’ (2024)

    Set in the not-so-distant future in a decimated world, Arcadian is a post-apocalyptic action horror film that follows a father, Paul (Nicolas Cage), and his teenage sons, Thomas (Maxwell Jenkins) and Joseph (Jaeden Martell). Living in a remote farmhouse away from the rest of what’s left of civilization, Paul and his sons successfully live a relatively tranquil life during the day before utter chaos emerges after dark.

    In a world ravaged by terrifying creatures who come out at night, they manage to survive by barricading themselves inside their home after the sun sets. However, when Thomas doesn’t return home before dark one day, Paul is forced to leave their fortified house in an effort to locate him before the ferocious creatures do. While he manages to find Thomas unharmed, Paul is gravely wounded in the process. As a result, Thomas and Joseph must use the skills their father taught them if they have any hopes of surviving the night. Arcadian is streaming on January 24.

The show’s second season will focus on teenage siblings who discover a unique threat inside their home.     ‘Paradise’ (Season 1)

    Created by Dan Fogelman, Paradise is a Hulu original series that follows a Secret Service agent named Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown). Part of President Cal Bradford’s (James Marsden) detail, Xavier becomes entangled in a high-stakes investigation after the president is shockingly murdered. As the last person to see the president alive and with no real clues as to who the perpetrator could be, Xavier becomes the prime suspect. The show’s cast also includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, and Percy Daggs IV. Paradise is streaming on January 28.

    This special performance took place in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas, produced by her company, Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment.

    The expansive performance of music, fashion and history featured a slew of guest performers in a roof-raising twelve-plus minutes showcasing the first live performance of songs from her genre-bending and record-breaking COWBOY CARTER album. The 11-time Grammy-nominated, juggernaut album recently became the most nominated album by a female artist.

    The set included, among others, “16 CARRIAGES,” “BLACKBIIRD,” “AMERIICAN REQUIEM,” “YA YA,” “SPAGHETTII/RIIVERDANCE,” “LEVII’S JEANS,” “JOLENE,” and the ubiquitous smash, “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM,” that ended the set with Beyoncé literally lifting to the rafters.

    The guests who brought their sizzle to the show included performers Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy. Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé’s eldest daughter, joined in as a featured dancer. The Texans Cheerleaders also joined in, representing the home team. And in a beautiful tribute to Western and Rodeo culture, Beyoncé included as special guests, Mexican Cowgirl, Melanie Rivera, Bull-riding legend, Myrtis Dightman, Jr., known as the “Jackie Robinson of Rodeo,” Miss Rodeo Texas Princess 2004 and Miss Rodeo Texas 2015, Nikki Woodward, and the first Black Rodeo Queen in Arkansas, Ja’Dayia Kursh. Joining them in the rousing caravan were Houston Texans owner, Cal McNair and his wife, Hannah.

    The energy turned all the way up with the addition of close to 200 members of Texas Southern University’s Ocean of Soul Marching Band. The HBCU, world-class band delivered on all its known for, powerful sound, precision and choreography,

    Beyoncé is no stranger to electrifying NFL halftime appearances having performed at two Super Bowl games. She headlined Super Bowl XLVII on February 3, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was joined onstage by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, her bandmates in Destiny’s Child. The performance became the second most-watched Super Bowl halftime show in history at the time. For Super Bowl XV, on February 7, 2016, she joined Coldplay and Bruno Mars in Santa Clara, California for one of the most-watched Super Bowl halftime shows with 115.5 million tuned in to get in “Formation.”

    ‘Steel Magnolias’ Was Based on a True Story

    The film was originally made into a stage play by Robert Harling. Harling had based the play on his experience with his sister’s death from diabetic complications. The story is still to this day performed as a stage play, consisting of an all-women cast, usually almost entirely taking place inside Truvy’s beauty shop with male voices heard over the radio. The movie perfectly exemplifies how Nolan is able to play with time in his movies, a motif that permeates throughout his oeuvre. Time has an almost intellectualized unfolding in a Nolan movie like Dunkirk, but Interstellar sees Nolan’s most personal and emotionally connected approach to time as a narrative device. This element, combined with the well-stocked cast, makes Interstellar a worthwhile watch.

    Interstellar Is Underrated Compared To Other Christopher Nolan Movies

    While Interstellar is a generally well-regarded movie, it is underrated compared to many of Christopher Nolan’s best movies. This is most evident in the Tomatometer scores of Nolan’s films, with Interstellar‘s 72% score being the second lowest of his directing career.     Teddy Bridgewater coming out of retirement to rejoin the Lions, per reports


    Teddy Bridgewater is making his return to the NFL. According to multiple reports, the quarterback is coming out of retirement to join the Detroit Lions. 

    The Lions were the last team he suited up for before he seemingly hung up the cleats. He played in Detroit in 2023 and joins the franchise again as it looks to make a playoff run. He appeared in just one game for the Lions last season, but did not record a pass attempt. Bridgewater, a 2014 first-round pick of the Vikings out of Louisville, also played for the Saints, Panthers, Broncos and Dolphins.

    Jared Goff is Detroit’s starter and the quarterback room also includes second-year player Hendon Hooker. Former fifth-rounder Jake Fromm is the Lions’ practice squad QB.

    The 32-year-old teased a return earlier this month, not long after leading his alma mater Miami Northwestern to a state title in his first year as a high school football coach. 

    On Dec. 17, Bridgewater made the surprise announcement that he was actively pursuing a return to the league. 

    “We’ll see how these next week-and-a-half, two weeks play out. Might be signing with a team or something and then returning back to coach high school football in February. So we’ll see.”

    Just over a week later, his plans are revealed. When he first discussed coming out of retirement, he did note that it doesn’t mean he is done coaching. 

    “We wanted to win a state championship and then coach goes back to the league, see what happens and then come back in February in the offseason and continue coaching high school football. So we’ll see how it plays out,” Bridgewater said. 

    Bridgewater’s last starting gig came in 2022 as a member of the Dolphins, where he went 0-2 with 683 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions on the year. In his career, Bridgewater has a 33-32 starting record, while throwing for 15,120 yards, 75 touchdowns and 47 interceptions. 

    The Lions have the second-best odds of winning it all, per Caesars Sportsbook, so Bridgewater has a chance to win a Super Bowl ring and a high school championship within the same year. 





    According to recent reports, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is considering coming out of retirement to rejoin the Detroit Lions. Bridgewater, who last played for the Denver Broncos, announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year.

    The Lions, who are in need of a veteran presence at the quarterback position, are reportedly interested in bringing Bridgewater back into the fold. The 29-year-old quarterback has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career, most notably during his time with the Minnesota Vikings.

    If Bridgewater does indeed decide to come out of retirement and sign with the Lions, it would provide the team with a much-needed boost at the quarterback position.     Two weeks after leading his high school alma mater to a state championship, Teddy Bridgewater is reportedly returning to the NFL.

    According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the 32-year-old quarterback will sign with the Detroit Lions for the remainder of this season. It’s unclear if he will be part of the active roster or signed to the practice squad.

    Bridgewater played nine NFL seasons with six teams before retiring after last season, which he spent with the Lions. He threw for 15,120 yards and 75 touchdowns in 79 career games after being a first-round pick out of Louisville in 2014.

    Bridgewater then took over head coaching duties at Miami Northwestern, who won the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 3A state title last month 41–0 over previously undefeated Jacksonville Raines.     The Detroit Lions are reportedly set to bolster their quarterbacks room with just a few weeks to go before the playoffs, and the player they’re bringing in is a familiar face.

    According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is coming out of retirement and is expected to sign with the Lions.

    “Comeback: High school state championship-winning coach and NFL QB Teddy Bridgewater is coming out of retirement and is expected to sign with the Lions, sources tell The Insiders,” Rapoport reported.

    Bridgewater made his intentions to come out of retirement known earlier this month in an interview with NFL Network.

    “That’s the plan,” Bridgewater said about returning to the NFL. “My team knows that’s the plan. We wanted to win a state championship and then coach goes back to the league, see what happens, and then come back February in the offseason, continue coaching high school football. We’ll see how it plays out.”

    The team Bridgewater is talking about is his high school alma mater, Miami (Florida) Northwestern, who he recently led to a state championship as the head coach after retiring from the NFL to take the job earlier this year.

    Bridgewater made it clear that he intends to return to the high school head-coaching gig after this season is over.

    A former first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2014, Bridgewater spent the 2023 campaign with the Lions, serving as Jared Goff’s backup. He did not attempt a pass the entire season, as Goff was able to stay healthy.

    The Lions do have Hendon Hooker on the roster, but he’s a total wild card thanks to his lack of experience. Bridgewater gives the Lions an experienced insurance policy for Goff.

    Prior to his stint in Detroit, Bridgewater spent time with the Vikings, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins. He earned a Pro Bowl nod with the Vikings in 2015.
