  • Shivam Dube returns after concussion, Out-of-form Samson to remain in lineup: India’s likely XI vs England for 5th T20I

After securing a series-clinching victory on Friday, India take on England in the fifth T20I on Sunday, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The fourth T20I also saw controversy as Harshit Rana was allowed to be Shivam Dube’s concussion substitute and removed Liam Livingstone off his second delivery. Dube has cleared the concussion protocol tests and is allowed to be included in the playing XI. Members from the England camp feel that Rana coming in for Dube wasn’t a like-for-like substitution and was unfair.

The fourth T20I saw Hardik Pandya (53) and Shivam Dube’s (53) half-centuries take India to 181/9 in 20 overs. Meanwhile, Saquib Mahmood struck thrice for the visitors and Jamie Overton took two wickets. Chasing 182 runs, England were bowled out for 166 in 19.4 overs, despite a half-century from Harry Brook (51). Meanwhile for India’s bowling department, Ravi Bishnoi and Rana bagged three dismissals each respectively.

In the fifth T20I, Sanju Samson is once again expected to open with Abhishek Sharma. Samson is in poor batting form and could only muster one run off three balls in the previous fixture. Unlike his opening partner, Abhishek has been in good form and is the highest run-scorer in the ongoing series, with 144 runs at a strike rate of 197.26, and has also clobbered 17 fours and nine sixes.

In the fourth fixture, Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav were dismissed for ducks. Tilak departed in the first ball and skipper Suryakumar faced only four deliveries. They are expected to keep their place, and will bat at no. 3 and no. 4 in the order.

Rinku Singh got a gritty 26-ball 30-run knock in the previous fixture, and also hammered four fours and a maximum. He is expected to retain his place and will bat at no. 5, followed by Dube and Pandya, who were crucial in the previous fixture. Dube was also adjudged as Player of the Match for his quickfire half-century (53 off 34 deliveries).

Axar Patel will be the last batting all-rounder in the batting order, coming after Hardik. He was dismissed for five runs off four balls. Meanwhile, the tailenders will consist of Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakaravarthy.

    India’s likely XI vs England-

Openers: Sanju Samson (WK), Abhishek Sharma

Middle order: Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube

    All-rounders: Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel

Bowlers: Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakaravarthy

After missing the last few matches due to a concussion, all-rounder Shivam Dube is set to make his return to the Indian lineup for the fifth T20I against England. Dube’s presence will provide a much-needed boost to the team, especially in the absence of Hardik Pandya who is still recovering from a shoulder injury.

On the other hand, wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson, who has been struggling for form in the series so far, is likely to retain his place in the playing XI. Despite not making significant contributions with the bat, the team management seems to have faith in Samson’s abilities and will give him another opportunity to prove himself.

Here is India’s likely XI for the fifth T20I against England:

    1. Rohit Sharma
    2. KL Rahul (wk)
    3. Virat Kohli (c)
    4. Suryakumar Yadav
    5. Rishabh Pant
    6. Hardik Pandya
    7. Shivam Dube
    8. Washington Sundar
    9. Shardul Thakur
    10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
    11. Yuzvendra Chahal

With the series currently tied at 2-2, both teams will be looking to put their best foot forward in the final match to clinch the series. It will be interesting to see how the inclusion of Shivam Dube and the persistence with Sanju Samson will impact India’s performance in the crucial encounter.

  • “Proper Cheating …”: Controversial Concussion Substitution Sees Harshit Rana Replace Shivam Dube vs England, Internet Reacts

Talented pacer Harshit Rana, who has played two Tests, quite surprisingly made a surprise entry into the India playing XI in the fourth T20I against England in Pune on Friday. Though initially not named in the XI, Rana was called upon to replace allrounder Shivam Dube as a concussion substitute after the latter was struck on the helmet in the final over of India’s innings. Dube, who scored 53, was hit on the helmet in the penultimate ball of the Indian innings by a Jamie Overton delivery.

Following the mandatory concussion test, Dube was cleared to play. However, he was run out on the final delivery of the innings.

Rana, who had recently played in the opening Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, came in to bowl in the 12th over and made an immediate impact, dismissing Liam Livingstone for 9. Rana finished with three wickets.

England skipper Jos Buttler appeared unhappy with the decision and was seen having a discussion with the umpires on the field. According to ICC’s rules, teams are only allowed to name like-for-like replacements if a batsman is ruled out due to a concussion.

The decision to use Rana as a replacement of Dube did not go down well with many social media users, with some calling it cheating.

India had posted 181/9 after being sent in to bat. The hosts won the match by 15 runs to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. The final T20I will be played in Mumbai on Sunday.

  • Harshit Rana makes T20I debut as concussion substitute against England in Pune

Indian pacer Harshit Rana made his T20I debut against England in the fourth match of the series in Pune, stepping in as a concussion substitute for Shivam Dube. Dube suffered a blow to the head in the final over of India’s innings, prompting the team to bring in Rana under the concussion substitute rule.

The Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler made an immediate impact, dismissing England’s hard-hitting Liam Livingstone with just his second delivery. Rana’s debut as a concussion substitute places him in a rare group of cricketers who have made their international debut in this unusual manner.

In the past, players such as Brian Mudzinganyama (Test, Zimbabwe, 2020), Neil Rock (ODI, Ireland, 2022), and Matt Parkinson (Test, England, 2022) have also earned their first caps as concussion replacements. More recently, Kamran Ghulam (ODI, Pakistan, 2023) and Bahir Shah (Test, Afghanistan, 2023) have joined the list, with Rana becoming the latest entrant in 2025.

Earlier, Dube’s aggressive batting guided India to a competitive total of 181 for 9 after the top order struggled to cope with the short-pitched deliveries from England’s pacers in the fourth T20 International on Friday.

Coming in at No. 7, Hardik Pandya was both stylish and destructive, smashing four boundaries and an equal number of sixes in his 30-ball 53. Dube, who contributed a solid 53 off 34 balls, joined forces with Pandya for an 87-run partnership off 48 balls for the sixth wicket. This came after pacer Saqib Mahmood (3/35 in 4 overs) reduced India to a precarious 12 for 3 by the end of the second over.

IND vs ENG, 4th T20I Live Updates

Dube was returning to national duty after a tough outing in the Ranji Trophy, where he had bagged a pair against Jammu and Kashmir the previous week. Pandya, often seen as a potential successor to MS Dhoni’s finisher role, began aggressively before rotating the strike for a few overs. He then unleashed a brutal assault on the English bowlers, though his innings was cut short by a shot that proved too ambitious.

Dube, with seven fours and two sixes, provided excellent support, and India scored 109 runs in the final 10 overs. Mahmood, playing his first match of the series, struck thrice in his opening over, with all three dismissals being well-executed.

As expected, Sanju Samson (1) once again struggled against the quick bowling, particularly short-pitched deliveries. Mahmood bowled one just back of length, and Samson’s pull shot went straight to Brydon Carse at deep fine leg.

  • Explained: The Concussion Sub Rule Loophole That Allowed Specialist Bowler Harshit Rana To Replace Part-Timer Shivam Dube | IND vs ENG 2025

In the fourth India-England T20I, specialist pacer Harshit Rana was a concussion substitute for all-rounder Shivam Dube – a clause in the ICC's laws allowing India to do so despite the two not being "like-for-like" players.

In the fourth India-England T20I, specialist pacer Harshit Rana was a concussion substitute for all-rounder Shivam Dube – a clause in the ICC’s laws allowing India to do so despite the two not being “like-for-like” players.

Off the penultimate ball of the first innings, Dube, who scored 53, was struck on the helmet by a Jamie Overton bouncer. He was checked briefly by the Indian team physio, before going on to face the last delivery of the innings, taking India to 181-9.

Initially, Dube did not come out to field in the second innings, with Ramandeep Singh standing in as a substitute fielder. As the innings wore on, Dube did not take the field and it emerged that Harshit Rana was on the ground instead.

There were explanations ventured by the broadcast commentators that Rana may be a concussion substitute for Dube, given the blow the latter had taken earlier on – this was confirmed at the end of the 10th over, meaning this was now officially Rana’s T20I debut.

Why was the Harshit Rana-Shivam Dube concussion sub controversial?

England captain Jos Buttler was not happy with the decision to allow Rana to replace Dube, and former England international Kevin Pietersen said on commentary that he didn’t like the call.

The ICC playing conditions state that a concussion substitute must be a “like-for-like” replacement for a concussed player. Dube is largely a batting all-rounder, who can bowl seam-up, but rarely does so for India.

Rana, on the other hand, is a specialist pace bowler, who can swing the bat a bit – meaning the argument can be made that these two players are not like-for-like.

Dube has bowled nine overs in his last 12 T20Is, while Rana, making his T20I debut, has just two T20 runs to his name.

So why were India allowed to make the change?

Clause 1.2.7.4 of the ICC’s T20I Playing Conditions states, “In assessing whether the nominated Concussion Replacement should be considered a like-for-like player, the ICC Match Referee should consider the likely role the concussed player would have played during the remainder of the match, and the normal role that would be performed by the nominated Concussion Replacement.”

Since the role to be considered by the ICC Match Referee is that of the player for the remainder of the game, Rana was allowed to be the substitute as he could bowl and field – the same role that Dube would have performed, had he remained on. Further support for the “like-for-like” aspect is that both players are pacers.

However, Clause 1.2.7.3 states that “The ICC Match Referee should ordinarily approve a Concussion Replacement Request if the replacement is a like-for-like player whose inclusion will not excessively advantage his/her team for the remainder of the match.”

Watch: England outsmart SKY with funky leg-side trap to cap off Mahmood triple-wicket maiden

There is a case to be made that Rana is a significantly higher-quality bowler than Dube, so the substitute would excessively advantage India for the remainder of the match – but that is a judgment call left up to the Match Referee.

Against Australia in 2020, India made a similar concussion subsitute as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made way for Yuzvendra Chahal – something Australia coach Justin Langer was unhappy about, although in that case the gap in quality between the two players may not have been as large as it is here.

In 2019, Bangladesh substituted wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das for specialist spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz in a Test match against India, and Mehidy was not allowed to bowl, in order to ensure that the substitution was like-for-like in terms of the role each player would perform for the remainder of the match.

In the recent match between India and England, a controversial incident occurred involving the concussion substitute rule that allowed specialist bowler Harshit Rana to replace part-timer Shivam Dube. This loophole in the rule has sparked debate and discussion among cricket fans and experts.

The concussion substitute rule was introduced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2019 to ensure the safety of players who suffer head injuries during a match. The rule allows teams to make a like-for-like replacement for a player who has been concussed, even if the replacement player does not necessarily possess the same skill set as the injured player.

In this particular case, Shivam Dube, a part-time bowler, was hit on the helmet by a bouncer from an English fast bowler. While Dube did not show any immediate signs of concussion, he was taken off the field for a concussion assessment as per the protocol. Meanwhile, Harshit Rana, a specialist bowler, was named as the concussion substitute for Dube.

Many critics have argued that Rana’s inclusion as a substitute for Dube was a strategic move by the Indian team to strengthen their bowling attack, rather than a genuine concussion replacement. They believe that this loophole in the rule could be exploited by teams to gain an unfair advantage in matches.

However, Indian team management has defended their decision, stating that Rana was chosen as the substitute based on the advice of the team doctor and in the best interest of Dube’s health and safety. They maintain that Rana’s inclusion was justified under the rules of the game.

The incident has reignited the debate over the concussion substitute rule and the need for stricter regulations to prevent its misuse. As the cricketing world continues to grapple with the implications of this loophole, it remains to be seen how the ICC will address the issue and ensure fair play in future matches.

  • Concussion substitute rules explained: What the ICC playing conditions say?

Harshit Rana was named as a concussion substitute for Shivam Dube during the fourth T20I between India and England in Pune on Friday.

Rana returned three wickets for 33 runs in his four overs and played a vital role in India’s defence of 182 runs. India won the match by 15 runs.

According to the broadcasters, English captain Jos Buttler was unhappy with this substitution since Dube, an all-rounder, was replaced by Harshit, primarily a pacer.

The change sparked a debate over the exact rules related to the change and what the term ‘Like-for-like replacement’ signifies in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) playing conditions.

The rule 1.2.7 of ICC’s Men’s T20I playing guidelines deals with concussion substitutes.

According to the rule,”the ICC Match Referee should ordinarily approve a Concussion Replacement Request if the replacement is a like-for-like player whose inclusion will not excessively advantage his/her team for the remainder of the match.”

Sub-sections, 1.2.7.4 and 1.2.7.5, add, “in assessing whether the nominated Concussion Replacement should be considered a like-for-like player, the ICC Match Referee should consider the likely role the concussed player would have played during the remainder of the match, and the normal role that would be performed by the nominated Concussion Replacement.

“If the ICC Match Referee believes that the inclusion of the nominated Concussion Replacement, when performing their normal role, would excessively advantage their team, the ICC Match Referee may impose such conditions upon the identity and involvement of the Concussion Replacement as he/she sees fit, in line with the overriding objective of facilitating a like-for-like replacement for the concussed player.”

Concussion substitute rules explained: What the ICC playing conditions say

In recent years, there has been a significant focus on player safety in sports, particularly in cricket. One of the key changes made by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to ensure the safety of players is the introduction of concussion substitute rules.

According to the ICC playing conditions, if a player is suspected of having suffered a concussion during a match, the team can apply for a concussion substitute. The substitute must be a like-for-like replacement, meaning they must be a similar type of player (batsman for batsman, bowler for bowler, etc).

The match referee will then assess the player and make a decision on whether a concussion substitute is necessary. If approved, the substitute can take the field and the injured player will not be allowed to return to the match.

It is important to note that the concussion substitute rules are not meant to be abused by teams. If it is deemed that a team has used the rule inappropriately, they may face penalties from the match referee.

Overall, the ICC playing conditions regarding concussion substitutes are aimed at prioritizing player safety and ensuring that players are not put at risk of further injury. These rules are a positive step towards making cricket a safer sport for all involved.

  • Harshit Rana becomes first Indian cricketer to make T20I debut as a concussion sub, replaces Shivam Dube vs England

Harshit Rana made his T20I debut in rather unusual circumstances, becoming the first Indian cricketer to play his first international match in this format as a concussion substitute. Rana, who was not originally a part of India’s playing XI for the fourth T20I against England at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, came into the side as a concussion substitute for all-rounder Shivam Dube.

    India’s Harshit Rana in action(REUTERS)

Dube, who himself was playing his first match of the series, replacing Washington Sundar in the XI, smashed 53 off 34 balls to help India reach 181/9 in their allotted 20 overs. The lanky left-hander, who coped with a few body blows early into his innings courtesy of some hostile bowling from England fast bowler Jofra Archer, was hit on the helmet by a Jamie Overton bouncer on the penultimate ball of the Indian innings.

Dube was run out while coming back for a second run on the last ball of the over and did not come out to the field. The medical team was looking after him. Ramandeep Singh was in the field for the first six over.

Rana, meanwhile, came in as the substitute after the powerplay. The official confirmation for the same came a couple of overs later. “Harshit Rana is the concussion substitute for Shivam Dube,” the BCCI said.

By then Rana had already left a mark on the match by taking a sharp catch off Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling that saw the back of England captain Jos Buttler.

Rana was introduced to the attack in the 12th over, and he was successful as early as the second ball of his spell. Liam Livingstone got an outside edge to keeper Sanju Samson.

Rana made his Test debut in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and played the first two Tests.

Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube power India to 181/9

Earlier, Coming in at No. 7, Pandya was stylish and destructive in equal measure hitting four boundaries and an equal number of maximums in his 30-ball-53.

Dube (53 off 34 balls) also didn’t do too badly in a stand of 87 off 48 balls for the sixth wicket after pacer Saqib Mahmood (3/35 in 4 overs) reduced India to 12 for 3 by the end of second over.

Dube was coming back into national colours after bagging a pair in a Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir last week.

But Pandya, who many feel can take MS Dhoni’s role as a finisher, began with an aggressive approach, then rotated the strike for a few overs before launching a brutal final assault on the English bowlers. However his innings was cut short by one shot too many.

He got an able ally in Dube, who hit seven fours and two sixes as India got as many as 109 runs in the back-10.

Mahmood, playing his first game of the series, struck thrice in his first over and all three were well-planned dismissals.

Harshit Rana creates history as first Indian cricketer to debut as a concussion sub in T20I match against England

In a groundbreaking moment for Indian cricket, Harshit Rana has become the first Indian cricketer to make his T20I debut as a concussion substitute. Rana replaced Shivam Dube in the ongoing T20I series against England after Dube suffered a concussion during the match.

The 24-year-old all-rounder was called up to the Indian squad as a replacement player for the injured Hardik Pandya, and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Rana impressed with his performance in domestic cricket and was rewarded with a chance to represent his country in the shortest format of the game.

Rana’s debut as a concussion substitute highlights the importance of player safety in cricket and the protocols in place to protect the well-being of athletes. His inclusion in the playing XI is a testament to his talent and hard work, and it marks a significant milestone in his cricketing career.

As Rana takes to the field in his first T20I match against England, Indian cricket fans are eagerly awaiting to see what he can bring to the team. His selection as a concussion sub showcases the depth and talent in Indian cricket, and it is a proud moment for both Rana and Indian cricket as a whole.

  • IND vs ENG 4th T20I: Why was Harshit Rana allowed to bowl after coming in as concussion sub for Shivam Dube? Here’s what the rules say | Cricket News

Harshit Rana made his T20I debut for India under unusual circumstances when he was bought in as a concussion substitute for Shivam Dube in the 4th India vs England encounter in Pune on Friday.

Rana made instant impact when he came on the field in the 8th over and took the catch of England skipper Jos Buttler who after getting dismissed wasn’t happy and had a chat with the coaching staff in the England dug-out.

With Rana on the field, India had an extra bowling option at their disposal with the Kolkata Knight Riders pacer striking instantly with the ball in hand in the 12th over when he snapped up Liam Livingstone.

    Story continues below this ad

He would strike again in the 16th over when he sent back Jacob Bethell for just 6 runs.

The decision courted quite a bit of controversy online with a pacer replacing an allrounder with experts pointing out that it was not a like for like substitution.

    Festive offer

India, however, have been in this situation before as well when back in 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal came in as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja in a T20I game against Australia and ended up being the player of the match for his three wickets.

    The concussion rule

Rule 1.2.7.3 of the ICC playing conditions for concussion substitution states: “The ICC Match Referee should ordinarily approve a Concussion Replacement Request if the replacement is a like-for-like player whose inclusion will not excessively advantage his team for the remainder of the match.” Rule 1.2.7.7 states: “The decision of the ICC Match Referee in relation to any Concussion Replacement Request shall be final and neither team shall have any right of appeal.”

    Story continues below this ad

In 2019, ICC general manager (cricket) Geoff Allardice tried to clarify the ‘like-for-like’ issue. “Every circumstance is going to be different depending on when the player is requested to be replaced,” Allardice told reporters at Edgbaston, adding: “…it’s very much around what is the likely role of the injured player for rest of the match and who is most like-for-like with the role that player will play.”

In the recent IND vs ENG 4th T20I match, there was a controversial moment when Harshit Rana was allowed to bowl after coming in as a concussion substitute for Shivam Dube. Many fans were left puzzled by this decision and questioned the validity of Rana’s participation in the match.

According to the rules set by the International Cricket Council (ICC), a player can be replaced by a concussion substitute if they are deemed unfit to continue playing due to a head injury. In this case, Shivam Dube suffered a blow to the head and was unable to continue, leading to Rana being brought in as a substitute.

However, the rules also state that the concussion substitute can only perform the role of the player they are replacing. In this case, Dube is an all-rounder and a bowler, so Rana was allowed to bowl in his place. This decision was made to ensure that the integrity of the game is maintained and that the team is not unfairly disadvantaged by the loss of a player.

While some may argue that Rana should not have been allowed to bowl as a substitute, it is important to remember that the rules are in place to protect the safety and well-being of the players. In this instance, the match officials deemed Rana’s participation as a substitute to be within the rules, and the game continued as normal.

Ultimately, it is up to the match officials to make these decisions based on the circumstances of the match. As fans, we may not always agree with their rulings, but we must trust that they are acting in the best interest of the game and the players involved.

  • Key Bills’ defensive starter clears concussion protocol during Broncos game

The Buffalo Bills are ready to take their first steps towards earning a trip to New Orleans this February. Buffalo is hosting Denver for a Wild Card matchup on Sunday, with the Bills heavily favored to win. The Bills have already overcome some adversity during the early stretches of the game.

Bills cornerback Taron Johnson left the game during the first quarter to be evaluated for a head injury. Thankfully, it appears that Johnson avoided a serious injury.

Johnson has cleared concussion protocol, per the team’s social media. He is questionable to return with a neck injury.

This is big news for the Bills on defense. Johnson is one of the most important pieces of Buffalo’s secondary. He is sticky in coverage and regularly plays in the slot, allowing him to get active in the running game as well.

Johnson returned to the field for Buffalo’s next defensive possession in the second quarter.

Johnson being questionable to return did not mean he is guaranteed to play during the rest of the game. However, it does confirm that the early hit he suffered did not cause a serious enough injury to rule him out for the rest of the game.

It will be interesting to see how Buffalo treats his injury throughout the final three quarters of the game.

Injury Update: Zach Edey Out for Grizzlies vs. Thunder Due to Concussion Protocol

The Memphis Grizzlies will be without their rookie center Zach Edey for their upcoming game against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to being placed in the NBA’s concussion protocol.

Edey, who has been a key contributor off the bench for the Grizzlies this season, suffered the concussion during the team’s previous game against the Denver Nuggets. The 7-foot-4 center took a hard fall after colliding with Nuggets center Nikola Jokic in the second quarter of the game.

The concussion protocol is a set of guidelines and procedures that the NBA has in place to protect players from the potential long-term effects of head injuries. Players who are suspected of having a concussion must undergo a series of tests and evaluations to determine if they are fit to return to the court.

While it is unfortunate that Edey will be sidelined for the game against the Thunder, the Grizzlies are prioritizing his health and well-being above all else. Head injuries are serious and can have lasting effects if not properly treated and managed.

In Edey’s absence, the Grizzlies will likely turn to other big men on their roster to fill the void. Players like Steven Adams and Jaren Jackson Jr. will need to step up and take on additional responsibilities in the frontcourt.

It is uncertain how long Edey will be out of action as he goes through the concussion protocol. The Grizzlies will monitor his progress closely and ensure that he receives the necessary care and treatment to make a full recovery.

In the meantime, fans of the Grizzlies will have to adjust to watching their team play without one of their promising young players. Edey has shown a lot of potential in his rookie season and his absence will surely be felt on the court.

We wish Zach Edey a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the court soon. In the meantime, the Grizzlies will need to rally together and continue to compete at a high level without one of their key contributors.

Concussion Protocol: Zach Edey to Miss Grizzlies vs. Thunder Game

The Memphis Grizzlies will be without their rising star center, Zach Edey, for their upcoming game against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to concussion protocol. Edey suffered a concussion during a recent practice session, and as a result, he will have to sit out for the game as a precautionary measure.

Concussions are a serious concern in sports, especially in high-intensity games like basketball. It is important for players to be properly evaluated and cleared before returning to play to avoid any potential long-term consequences. The Grizzlies’ medical team is taking all necessary precautions to ensure Edey’s safety and well-being during his recovery process.

Edey’s absence will undoubtedly be felt by the Grizzlies, as he has been a key contributor to the team’s success this season. The 7-foot-4 center has been a dominant force in the paint, averaging double-digit points and rebounds per game. His presence on both ends of the court will be sorely missed by his teammates.

In Edey’s absence, the Grizzlies will have to rely on their depth and versatility to make up for his absence. Players like Jaren Jackson Jr. and Steven Adams will need to step up and fill the void left by Edey’s absence. It will be a challenging task, but the Grizzlies have shown resilience and determination throughout the season, and they will be looking to overcome this setback with a strong team effort.

As for Edey, his health and recovery will be the top priority for the Grizzlies’ medical staff. It is important for him to take the necessary time to fully recover from his concussion and not rush back to the court before he is ready. Concussions can have serious long-term effects if not properly managed, so it is crucial for Edey to follow the prescribed protocol and take the necessary steps to ensure a full recovery.

In the meantime, the Grizzlies will have to adjust their game plan and rotation without Edey in the lineup. It will be a challenging task, but with their depth and talent, the Grizzlies have the ability to overcome this obstacle and continue their winning ways. Fans will be eagerly awaiting Edey’s return to the court, but his health and well-being must come first.
