During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Tuesday, Jan. 28, the trio shared that their kids are constantly embarrassed by everything they do.
“The sound of my voice embarrasses [his daughter Taylor], even when I’m not talking,” Tarek, 43, said. Christina, 41, added that her daughter is also embarrassed by “the songs I play when I drop her off, if the windows are down.”

“She’s embarrassed by us,” Heather, 37, added. “We have a sprinter, and if we show up in the sprinter, she’s like ‘Why are you in the sprinter?'”
She added, “I’m like ‘We’re cool! Look at us.'”
Back in 2010, Tarek became a father for the first time when his then-wife Christina gave birth to their daughter, Taylor. In 2015, the couple became parents again when they welcomed son Brayden. After Tarek and Christina finalized their divorce in 2016 and he remarried Heather, Tarek welcomed his third child, son Tristan, in January 2023.

Host Jennifer Hudson also asked the trio about how they managed “co-parenting” and “doing the show together.”
“The point is it’s better for the kids when everyone’s getting along, and we genuinely are. And we’re genuinely having so much fun doing this show,” Haack said.
“I feel like the kids love it that we’re doing a show together, and they can see their parents all working together,” Heather added. “They love it. They’re very supportive.”
