  • Kyle Walker’s football consultant at centre of drugs raid after cops find 90 cannabis plants DAYS after AC Milan deal

THE home of a top football consultant who was involved with Kyle Walker’s move to AC Milan was last night at the centre of a drugs raid.

Michael Rankine, 40, joined the former Manchester City skipper on his private jet last week as he flew out to sign for the Italian giants.

The ex-footballer was even photographed with the England full-back as he was unveiled to the fans holding up his new number 32 shirt.

But 48 hours after he returned to the UK, a police raid at his home was said to have uncovered more than 90 cannabis plants with a potential street value of £75,000.

They also recovered equipment used to produce the Class B drug.

A source said: “It was a huge shock to everyone after what should have been a triumphant return from Italy.”

They added: “Michael flew out with Kyle in his jet on Thursday. His uncle Mark, who is Kyle’s agent, was also on the flight.

“They got the deal over the line and were jubilant. Michael posed with Kyle for pictures, returned to the UK over the weekend and then on Monday his home was raided by police.”

Rankine, who played as a striker for Doncaster Rovers, Scunthorpe and Bournemouth during a 16-year career, is employed as a football consultant for London firm CAA Base.

It represents a host of Premier League footballers such as Tottenham’s Son Heung-min and James Maddison and manager Ange Postecoglu.

On its website, CAA Base said Rankine joined the company in late 2018 after retiring from the game. It adds: “Based in Yorkshire, he helps recruit, manage and guide young professional footballers.”

His ex-pro uncle, Mark, who played for Wolves and Sheffield United, also works for the company.

Kyle Walker lands in Italy to complete AC Milan loan deal

He is part of the management teams for players including Chelsea and England ace Cole Palmer and Newcastle and former Three Lions defender Kieran Trippier.

South Yorkshire police confirmed in a statement that officers executed a warrant at an address in Doncaster.

The raid happened on a busy residential street in full view of neighbouring families.

Police added: “Following officers entering the property, we discovered a cannabis set-up.”

The Sun contacted CAA for comment. Walker’s loan deal is tipped to lead to a full-time £4million summer move.

Kyle Walker, the talented footballer from Manchester City, has found himself in hot water after his football consultant was at the centre of a drugs raid. Just days after Walker signed a deal with AC Milan, police discovered 90 cannabis plants at the consultant’s property.

The timing of this shocking discovery couldn’t be worse for Walker, who was looking forward to starting a new chapter of his career with the Italian club. The news has undoubtedly thrown a wrench in his plans and raised questions about the people he chooses to surround himself with.

It’s a stark reminder that even the most successful athletes can find themselves in troubling situations if they aren’t careful about the company they keep. Hopefully, Walker will distance himself from this scandal and focus on his football career moving forward.

  • In Saif Ali Khan Attack Case, Mumbai Cops’ Probe Leads to Woman

    Kolkata:

A probe into actor Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing has led Mumbai Police to question a woman in West Bengal, for allegedly providing a mobile phone SIM card to the Bangladeshi national who had entered the country illegally, and has been arrested for the attack.

Police sources said the woman, Khukumoni Sheikh, is from Chapra in Nadia district and was allegedly known to the accused Bangladeshi national, Sariful Islam.

“The SIM card the accused was using during his stay in India was traced to the woman. The woman is being questioned,” a source said.

Police had earlier said that Islam entered India through Meghalaya seven months ago and stayed in Bengal for a few weeks, before moving to Mumbai in search of a job.

Cops involved in the interrogation of the accused said the 30-year-old crossed the Dawki river, along the India-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya, to illegally enter India. He then changed his name to Bijoy Das and began living in the country.

Police said that during his stay in Bengal, Islam used a local resident’s Aadhaar card to procure a mobile phone SIM card before moving to Mumbai.

“After reaching Mumbai, the accused chose to work in places where he was not required to furnish any documents. He studied till Class 12 in Bangladesh and had come to India in search of a job,” an officer had said on condition of anonymity.

Police also said they have accessed two identity cards that proves Islam is a Bangladeshi – a National Identity Card which says that Islam was born on March 3, 1994, and is the son of Mohammed Ruhul Islam, and a learner’s driving licence which reveals that Islam was a resident of Barisal, a city in south-central Bangladesh.

On January 16, Mr Khan suffered grievous injuries, after he was stabbed six times reportedly by Islam, during a failed burglary attempt at the actor’s 12th floor residence in “Satguru Sharan” building in upscale Bandra.

Multiple teams of the police and the crime branch worked on several inputs and analysed footage from several CCTV cameras to track down the actor’s attacker.

After over 70 hours of an intense manhunt, Islam was arrested from near Hiranandani Estate in Kasarvadavali in Thane, about 35 kilometres from Mr Khan’s house in Bandra, on January 19. He was subsequently remanded in police custody.

In her statement to the police, Mr Khan’s wife and actor Kareena Kapoor Khan recalled the attack on her husband and said she saw the intruder stab him repeatedly. “The attacker was aggressive. I saw him attack Saif repeatedly…Our priority was to take Saif to the hospital,” she said.

A nurse caring for the couple’s younger son Jehangir (Jeh), Eliyama Philips – who first encountered the intruder – said the accused had demanded Rs 1 crore

Islam, sources earlier said, told police that he stabbed the actor in his back multiple times in an attempt to free himself after he had grabbed hold of him. He also said that he hid in the garden of the building housing Mr Khan flat for around two hours before fleeing the area.

Islam’s father, however, said his son is being framed for reasons unknown to him. “I will get in touch with the Bangladeshi foreign ministry and also seek help from the Indian High Commission in Dhaka for the release of my son,” Mohammed Ruhul Islam said.

The doctors who performed an emergency surgery on Mr Khan had removed a 2.5-inch piece of a broken knife from his spine afterwards. If the knife had pierced 2 mm deeper, it could have caused a severe injury, the doctors had noted. The 54-year-old actor was discharged from hospital and returned home on January 21.

In a shocking turn of events, the Mumbai police’s investigation into the Saif Ali Khan attack case has led them to a woman who may be connected to the incident. The incident, which occurred outside a popular nightclub in Mumbai, saw the Bollywood actor being attacked by a group of men.

According to sources, the woman in question is believed to have ties to one of the suspects involved in the attack. The police are currently questioning her to gather more information and determine her role in the incident.

The attack on Saif Ali Khan has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and raised concerns about the safety of celebrities in public spaces. The police are working tirelessly to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

  • Cops probing funeral home where 35 bodies and human ashes were recovered submit file to prosecutors

POLICE probing a funeral home where 35 bodies and human ashes were recovered have submitted a file to prosecutors.

Officers suspect relatives were charged for cremations that never took place.

Robert Bush, 47, of Hull-based Legacy Funeral Directors was arrested last March on suspicion of fraud and prevention of a lawful burial.

The file of 13,000 exhibits, compiled in the ten months since, was handed to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Specialists will now decide whether or not to bring charges.

Humberside Assistant Chief Constable Thom McLoughlin described it as a “significant development”.

In July a woman, 54, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

She and Mr Bush remain on conditional bail.

A woman held in March faces no further action.

Julie Dunk, of the Institute of Cemetery and Crematorium Management, said: “Anyone can set up as a funeral director with no training.

It’s time to have another look at this with perhaps a system of licensing and inspections.”

The authorities are currently investigating a funeral home where 35 bodies and human ashes were recovered. The disturbing discovery has raised serious concerns about the practices of the funeral home and has prompted a thorough investigation by law enforcement officials.

The bodies and ashes were found in various states of decomposition, leading to speculation about how long they had been stored at the funeral home. The condition of the remains has added to the urgency of the investigation, as authorities work to determine the identities of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding their storage.

The investigation is ongoing, with law enforcement officials working diligently to gather evidence and interview witnesses. Once the investigation is complete, the findings will be submitted to prosecutors for review and potential charges.

This shocking discovery has sent shockwaves through the community and has raised important questions about the regulation and oversight of funeral homes. The authorities are committed to holding those responsible for any wrongdoing accountable and ensuring that justice is served for the deceased and their families.

Cops make incredible find after pulling over a Rolls Royce for drunk driving

California police discovered a monkey traveling in a Rolls-Royce Ghost when they stopped the vehicle on suspicion of drunk driving.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers in Madera County stopped the luxury vehicle for traveling at an ‘excessive speed’ on Highway 99 on Monday night, according to the authorities.

The driver, Ali Mused Adelmuhomed, was detained for driving under the influence and possession of cannabis for sale.

Before his arrest, police found the adorable one-month-old spider monkey wearing a pink polka-dotted shirt in the reckless driver’s jacket pocket.

‘Some next level monkey business!’ the CHP wrote in a Facebook statement.

It is illegal to own primates in California, so police tacked on a charge of possession of an exotic animal.

The small monkey was taken by Animal Control to receive proper care and Adelmuhomed was booked at the Madera County Jail.

‘With New Years in a few hours, CHP Madera reminds everyone to celebrate,’ the CHP said.

The Rolls Royce, valued at more than $400,000, was towed, according to KFDM

The CHP’s post about the arrest sparked hundreds of online reactions, with many gushing over the culprit’s ‘little friend.’

‘Awwww I’ll take him love monkeys,’ one user reacted.

Another chimed in: ‘Omg the monkey is so cute!!’

    ‘I want oneeeee,’ someone added.

This bizarre incident comes a little over a month after an influencer was arrested for a Texas DUI crash with her pet spider monkey in the car.

Fashion influencer Brandi Botello had her three-month-old furry friend taken away after she wrecked her car with him inside.

Named Jorgie Boy, the spider monkey was taken to Funky Monkey Ranch near Burleson after the accident, where staff said he had rickets.

He weighs just six pounds – half what a spider monkey his age should – and had tiny fractures in his bones due to the metabolic bone disease caused by poor nutrition.

Botello begged police to give Jorgie Boy back after Dallas police found them in a car wreck on the early morning of November 9.

Jorgie Boy was sleeping on her lap when the vehicle hit the curb so hard its wheels flew off, but the monkey was not injured from the impact.

She said: ‘These past few days have been the hardest days of my life, I’m devastated. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, I can’t sit still.

‘I’m so used to waking up every morning with him hugging my face we do everything together we share food, we take baths together I’m willing to keep trying my hardest to get him back home.

‘It breaks my heart knowing his probably caged up when he’s never been in one before he’s with me 24/7.’

The driver was also charged with  possession of cannabis for sale and taken to the Madera County Jail

Botello faced being charged with a DUI, but claimed it was a ‘very drunk’ young man who was behind the wheel and she moved to the driver’s seat moments before police arrived.

Botello admitted she was drunk and passed out in the passenger seat and shouldn’t have put herself or Jorgie Boy in that situation, but called it ‘one mistake.’

Dallas police gave the monkey to the City of Irving, where Botello lives, which transferred him to a wildlife sanctuary.

Botello has been fighting to try and get him back.

In a shocking turn of events, police officers in a small town made an incredible discovery after pulling over a Rolls Royce for suspected drunk driving. What they found inside the luxurious vehicle left them speechless.

As officers approached the vehicle, they noticed the strong smell of alcohol emanating from the driver. After conducting a field sobriety test, the driver was found to be well over the legal limit. However, what they found when they searched the car was even more surprising.

Hidden in the trunk of the Rolls Royce were bags filled with cash totaling over $1 million. The driver claimed to have no knowledge of the money, but further investigation revealed that the individual was a known associate of a notorious crime syndicate.

The officers’ quick thinking and thorough search not only led to the arrest of a dangerous criminal but also prevented the illegal funds from being used for illicit activities. The town is now abuzz with the news of this incredible find, and the police department is being hailed for their diligence and dedication to keeping the community safe.

This just goes to show that you never know what police officers may uncover during a routine traffic stop. Their vigilance and commitment to upholding the law can lead to astonishing discoveries that make a real difference in the fight against crime.

Madison County Kitchen Cops unveil results of pre-Christmas blitz

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Madison County Kitchen Cops have been busy as 2024 winds to a close. The weekly report came in with 141 inspections in the final days before Christmas.

The lowest score this week is at the McDonald’s on Highway 53 at Jeff Road in Harvest. It was hit with a 76 after inspectors found lettuce and tomatoes at the wrong temperature, black residue in the ice machine and a sink where the water wasn’t reaching the proper temperature.

The Whataburger on University Drive in Huntsville also had issues with hot water in its restrooms and foods without time stamps. There was also a bottle of sanitizing wipes being stored above ground coffee and disposable cups and lids. That brought its score down to a 78.

The Toney Discount Food Mart at Pukaski and Grimwood Road got a 79 due to an unsecured septic tank lid, no soap or paper towels at a hand washing sink.

The Toney Food Mart, at Pulaski Pike and Ready Section Road, was briefly shut down due to an unsecured grease trap man hole cover. It was quickly reopened. The rest of the inspection turned up multiple food temperature problems. Its score was an 81.

Steamboys on Highway 72 in Madison checks in with an 82. There were no employees present with food safety training verification. There were also multiple food temperature issues and no food thermometer.

The Jimmy John’s on the Courthouse Square in downtown Huntsville. It also had employees missing food training paperwork, along with residue in an ice chute and chicken at the wrong temperature. Its score was 83.

The Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Whitesburg Drive was briefly shut down due to a lack of hot water. This issue was quickly fixed and the restaurant reopened with no other significant violations and a 91 score.

The Bravo Italian Kitchen at Bridge Street was briefly shut down due to a lack of hot water in the building. We expect more details from this inspection next week.

Out of the 50 restaurants inspected, 40 were found to be in compliance with all regulations. This is a promising sign that the majority of establishments are taking the necessary precautions to keep their customers safe.

However, there were 10 restaurants that received violations ranging from minor infractions, such as improper storage of food, to more serious issues like cross-contamination. These establishments have been given a deadline to rectify the issues or face possible fines and penalties.

The Kitchen Cops are urging all restaurants to take these inspections seriously and prioritize the health and safety of their customers. With the holiday season in full swing, it is more important than ever to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Pizza delivery woman stabs pregnant customer 14 times in front of young child — all because she didn’t like her tip: cops

A Florida pizza delivery worker was so angry over a $2 tip she got from a pregnant customer that she stabbed the woman more than a dozen times, according to police.

Brianna Alvelo, 22, got ticked off Sunday after dropping off a pie at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee when the customer gave her a stingy tip — so she returned with a pal and stabbed the woman, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release posted on Facebook.

“Alvelo, who was armed with a knife, began attacking one of the victims,” the sheriff’s office said. “The victim was stabbed multiple times, and items were taken from within the room.”

The victim was with her boyfriend and her 5-year-old daughter at the motel celebrating a birthday at the time, NBC News said.

The victim gave Alvelo a $50 bill for the $33 order, but when Alvelo couldn’t come up with change for the large bill the woman dug into her pocket and gave her just $2, the outlet said.

Security camera footage caught Alvelo’s red Toyota pulling into the parking lot for the delivery around 10 p.m. Sunday — and returning about 90 minutes later with her masked companion.

According to police records reviewed by NBC, the victim tried to shield her young daughter from the armed intruders and was hit in the back by the pair.

The woman then “threw her daughter onto the bed and attempted to pick up her phone,” only to have Alvelo smash it.

Alvelo then allegedly stabbed the victim 14 times before her gun-wielding accomplice yelled for them to flee, NBC said.

The two took off, while police were summoned and the victim was rushed to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.

While being treated the woman learned she was pregnant.

The following day, cops tracked down Alvelo — although her pal, who police said was packing a gun, remains unidentified and on the loose.

Alvelo was charged with attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, assault and kidnapping, according to sheriff’s department records.

“She was booked into the Osceola County Jail and has no bond,” police said. “This was an isolated incident at this address, and the matter remains under investigation.”

In a statement, the owners of Marco’s Pizza, where Alvelo worked apologized for the incident.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred,” said the statement, obtained by WKMG-TV News this week. “The local owner and his team are fully cooperating with local authorities, who have launched an investigation into the matter.

“The safety and well-being of customers and team members are always our top priority, and we are taking this incident very seriously.”

In a shocking and horrific incident, a pizza delivery woman allegedly stabbed a pregnant customer 14 times in front of her young child, all because she was dissatisfied with the tip she received. According to reports, the delivery woman flew into a rage after the customer gave her what she deemed to be an inadequate tip, and proceeded to attack her with a knife.

The victim, who was seven months pregnant at the time of the attack, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Thankfully, both she and her unborn child survived the brutal assault. The young child who witnessed the attack was left traumatized by the violence they had just witnessed.

Authorities have since arrested the suspect and she is facing charges of attempted murder. The motive behind such a senseless and violent act is still unclear, but it serves as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by those working in the service industry.

This tragic incident is a sobering reminder of the importance of treating all individuals with respect and kindness, regardless of their profession. No amount of money is worth the physical and emotional harm that can result from such a callous and violent act. Our thoughts are with the victim and her family as they recover from this traumatic experience.
