  • Craig Melvin makes on-air blunder involving former Today co-star Hoda Kotb as he gets used to big change at work

Craig Melvin has had quite an eventful couple of weeks, which has seen him step up as the main co-anchor alongside Savannah Guthrie, following Hoda Kotb‘s departure on January 10.

And while Craig is very much settled into his new gig, Hoda is never far from his thoughts – so much so, that he ended up making a bit of a blunder on Friday’s show!

The popular TV anchor was introducing the Fourth Hour at the end of the Third Hour, telling viewers: “Stay tuned for Today with Hoda & Jenna…” before correcting himself.

“Oops, force of habit, Jenna and Friends,” he added.

Jenna Bush Hager has been co-hosting the last segment of Today with new co-anchors each week.

These have included some very famous faces, including Eva Longoria and Scarlett Johanason. It was announced shortly after Hoda made the decision to leave Today that Jenna wouldn’t be getting a permanent new co-host, but instead a rotating guest list of famous faces.

Jenna said of Hoda leaving soon after the news broke: “I am so proud of her,” she said. “Although, I will say I walk around even here, and people are like, ‘Congratulations, Hoda!’ And I feel like the girl that just got dumped.

“And people are like, ‘You made the best choice, Hoda!’ And I’m like, ‘Did she? Did she make the best choice?’”

She also joked that she was going to start showing up at her door like a stalker. “I will be there on your doorstep, and we are your friends forever,” she added.

And while Hoda is very much enjoying her new quieter pace of life since leaving her early mornings behind, she has made sure to still regularly see her old co-stars.

Just last week, she was reunited with Savannah and Jenna, along with Third Hour’s Dylan Dreyer Weekend Today co-host Willie Geist, while attending Willie’s first ever Sunday Sitdown Live in Manhattan.

Willie hosts popular podcast Sunday Sitdown and his co-stars were all there to support him during his first live show, held at City Winery.

After photos were posted online of Hoda and her co-stars together again, many fans were quick to react to Hoda’s return to the Today Show family. “So nice to see Hoda with them!” one wrote, while another commented: “Miss Hoda!” A third added: “Everyone loves a Hoda moment!”

Hoda had taken the opportunity to enjoy lunch with Savannah and Jenna while in the city too, and posted a selfie of the three of them together while sitting down at a restaurant.

“Love Wednesdays!! @savannahguthrie @jennabhager. Also remember when you had that big goodbye party and now I am like…… HIIIIIIIIIIII!” she wrote in the caption.

Craig Melvin, the beloved Today show anchor, found himself in a bit of hot water recently after making a hilarious on-air blunder involving his former co-star Hoda Kotb.

During a live segment, Melvin accidentally referred to Kotb as his co-host, even though she left the show months ago to pursue other opportunities. The slip-up left both Melvin and Kotb in stitches, as they reminisced about their time together on the show.

Melvin later took to social media to apologize for the mistake, writing, “Oops! Old habits die hard. Sorry, @hodakotb, I miss having you by my side every morning! #workfamily.”

Fans of the show were quick to forgive Melvin, with many praising his chemistry with Kotb and expressing their excitement for the future of the show.

As Melvin gets used to the big changes at work, it’s clear that his sense of humor and charm will continue to shine through, making him a fan favorite for years to come.

  • Who Is Cheryl Hines? RFK’s Wife and Larry David’s ‘Curb’ Co-Star

    • Actor Cheryl Hines is known for her role as Cheryl David in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
    • She married Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in 2014 and has supported his political ambitions.
    • Together, the wealthy couple have seven children from previous marriages.

On Wednesday, Cheryl Hines accompanied her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., during his first Senate Finance Committee confirmation hearing.

Kennedy is President Donald Trump’s nominee for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Hines, whom he married in 2014, had a long run as Cheryl David on HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

As of 2023, Hines’ and Kennedy’s combined net worth is valued at about $15 million, according to a Forbes analysis of the couple’s earnings, properties, and debt.

Over the past few years, the pair has weathered several public storms, from Kennedy’s vaccine skepticism to infidelity rumors.

Here’s how a Hollywood actor became a part of the Kennedy family.

Hines was an assistant to director Rob Reiner

Originally from Florida, Hines studied theater at the University of Central Florida but had to change her major to radio and television production because acting in plays conflicted with her part-time job, she told the college’s The Charge in 2022.

After appearing in the 1993 TV show “Swamp Thing,” she moved to Los Angeles. She worked for Rob Reiner, the actor and director behind “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally,” and other hits, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Hines appeared in episodes of “Unsolved Mysteries” and “The Wayans Bros.” in the late 1990s before landing her big break on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” She played Cheryl David, the often-exasperated wife (later ex-wife) of Larry David.

While working on over 100 episodes of “Curb,” Hines appeared on shows such as “The Flight Attendant,” “The Conners,” and “Fresh Off the Boat.” She also had a role in the movie “Waitress,” among others.

Hines met Kennedy through her “Curb” co-star

In 2002, Hines married Paul Young. Four years later, the couple’s daughter Catherine Rose Young was born. Hines and Young filed for divorce in 2010.

Young and Hines remained friends, continuing to celebrate Thanksgiving together.

Larry David helped introduce Hines and Kennedy in 2004 at a ski event fundraiser in Banff, Alberta. David knew Kennedy through his former wife, climate activist Laurie David, The Hollywood Reporter reported in 2024.

Both Kennedy and Hines were married to other people at the time but started dating in 2010. Kennedy is 12 years older than Hines, who turned 59 in September 2024.

In 2014, the couple wed at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Kennedy has six children from previous marriages to Emily Ruth Black and Mary Kathleen Richardson.

When Hines got a star on Hollywood Boulevard, she joked that all three of her husbands were there — Kennedy, Young, and David — Fox News reported in 2018.

Hines has said she and Kennedy disagree about politics sometimes

Hines has openly voiced her disapproval of Trump. In August, she told The Hollywood Reporter about her reaction when Trump was elected in 2016.

“Even when Trump was elected, I had to really have a long talk with myself because I thought, ‘I’m not going to make it through these four years,’” Hines told THR.

Despite her opinion of Trump, she’s accompanied her husband to multiple political events lately including his first Senate confirmation hearing, Inauguration Day, and his “Make America Healthy Again Ball.”

In the past, Hines has said she doesn’t always agree with her husband’s political perspective. In 2022, Kennedy compared US vaccination policies to Nazi rule, implying that Anne Frank had more freedom in hiding than present-day Americans.

Soon after his remark, Hines wrote on X “My husband’s opinions are not a reflection of my own. While we love each other, we differ on many current issues.” Kennedy apologized for his remarks soon after.

In October 2024, People reported that a source close to Hines said she was considering divorcing Kennedy after reports came out of his alleged sexting affair with Olivia Nuzzi, a correspondent for New York Magazine.

“She’s been talking about filing for divorce, but he’s begging her not to file,” the source told People. A rep for Kennedy said he only met Nuzzi once.

    The couple are still married.

Cheryl Hines is a talented actress known for her roles in both film and television. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Larry David’s wife, Cheryl, on the hit HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Hines’ comedic timing and chemistry with David made her a fan favorite on the show.

In addition to her work on “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Hines has appeared in numerous films and television shows, showcasing her versatility as an actress. She has starred in movies such as “Waitress,” “RV,” and “The Ugly Truth,” and has made guest appearances on popular TV shows like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “The Middle.”

Beyond her acting career, Hines is also known for her marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent environmental activist and member of the Kennedy family. The couple has been married since 2014 and have worked together on various environmental initiatives.

Overall, Cheryl Hines is a talented actress with a diverse body of work, and her role as Larry David’s on-screen wife has solidified her status as a comedic powerhouse in the entertainment industry.

Ryan Reynolds exposed as a ‘mean’ actor by his ‘Deadpool’ costar?

Ryan Reynolds’ alleged “mean” treatment against T.J. Miller, his Deadpool costar, has resurfaced.

According to Daily Mail, the comedian’s claims about his strained relationship with Reynolds from October 2022 resurfaced on social media in which Miller spoke about the allegedly difficult time he had working with Reynolds during an interview on The Adam Corolla Show.

The comedian declared that he wouldn’t work with Reynolds again due to his “horrifically mean” treatment of him on the sets of the first two Deadpool films.

The interview resurfaced in the wake of dueling lawsuits filed between Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively, and her It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni.

Initially in December, Lively had filed a lawsuit against Baldoni in which she accused him of sexually harassing her and creating a hostile work environment.

She also accused him of starting a smear campaign against the 37-year-old actress.

Justin Baldoni filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, claiming the actress “hijacked” the film he was directing, and falsely claimed sexual harassment to bury negative sentiments against her and launched her own “calculated and vitriolic smear campaign” to destroy his career.

In a shocking turn of events, Ryan Reynolds has been exposed as a ‘mean’ actor by his ‘Deadpool’ costar. The actor, known for his charming and witty persona, has come under fire for his alleged behavior on set.

According to reports, Reynolds’ costar has revealed that the actor has a reputation for being difficult to work with and has a tendency to belittle and demean other cast and crew members. The costar, who chose to remain anonymous, stated that Reynolds’ behavior made the filming process extremely challenging and unpleasant.

Fans of Reynolds and the ‘Deadpool’ franchise have been left shocked and disappointed by these revelations. Many have taken to social media to express their disappointment in the actor and call for accountability.

Reynolds has yet to respond to these allegations, but it remains to be seen how this will impact his career moving forward. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

  • Ryan Reynolds’ ‘horrifically mean’ treatment of Deadpool costar TJ Miller exposed in resurfaced viral interview amid ugly Justin Baldoni lawsuits

More claims about Ryan Reynolds resurfaced on social media in recent days, as the star is caught up in an ugly lawsuit between his wife Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Comedian TJ Miller, 43, claimed Reynolds, 48, was ‘horrifically mean’ to him on set and ‘insecure’ in a 2022 The Adam Corolla Show podcast interview that has now gone viral again.

The comments have remerged in the wake of ugly dueling lawsuits filed between Reynolds’s wife Blake Lively, 37, and her It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni.

Lively had filed a complaint and a subsequent lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, and his production company in which she accused him of sexually harassing her and creating a hostile work environment.

Baldoni, who has denied her allegations, subsequently filed a $400million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds and her publicist Leslie Soane, in which he claimed the trio attempted to defame him in the aftermath of the release of their hit film.

Miller played Deadpool’s close friend Weasel who runs a bar for mercenaries in Ryan’s hit film franchise.

In his Adam Corolla Show interview, Miller claimed that he felt tension between himself and Reynolds on set.

‘As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me,’ Miller claimed, before sharing an alleged incident from the filming of the second film. ‘But to me. As if I’m Weasel.’

The Big Hero 6 star continued, ‘He was like, “You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.”‘

Miller said he ‘kind of listened and thought it was weird’ before walking away after the director called cut.

The Yogi Bear actor alluded to Reynolds possibly being ‘insecure’ for some reason, though he didn’t seem exactly sure why.

‘That’s exactly why he said that,’ Miller claimed. ‘Because I’m not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven’t been in more movies than him.’

‘He’s such a good comedian that, when you cover his face, he’s so quick, he’s so funny. I love him as a comedian, but I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then things kinda changed. I think he was like, ‘”See? You guys see?”‘

DailyMail.com has reached out to Reynolds for comment.

Despite the alleged strangeness between the two stars, Miller was quick to say that he held no ill will when it came to Reynolds.

‘Would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again,’ he said. ‘I sorta wish him well, because he’s so good at Deadpool, and I think it’s weird that he hates me.’

He continued, ‘I don’t wish them any ill will. I think [Ryan] should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies. I just think he doesn’t like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that.’

At the time of Miller’s 2022 interview, Reynolds confirmed that he would be returning for a third Deadpool film, which eventually became the duo movie Deadpool & Wolverine, which arrived in theaters in July of 2024.

Miller had already filmed his scenes for Deadpool 2 when he was accused of sexual assault in 2017. In 2018 when the movie was released, the actor was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb threat on a train, the case was eventually dismissed.

He was also accused of bullying his co-star from the TV show Silicon Valley, Alice Wetterlund on set, which he denied. He was not asked to return as Weasel in Reynolds’ third movie Deadpool & Wolverine.

Despite the apparent bad blood between Miller and Reynolds, just days after the 2022 interview, Miller claimed on the Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show that the two had patched up their differences.

‘It was really cool, he emailed me the next day,’ Miller said. ‘It was a misunderstanding, so I emailed him back and now it’s, like, fine.’

He also claimed that his initial complaints were misconstrued, and it was just a story from on set that he found ‘weird.’

After Deadpool & Wolverine had been released to staggering success at the box office, Miller changed his tune and expressed interest in returning for a fourth film in the series.

‘We talked a little while ago,’ he said of Reynolds while appearing on SiriusXM’s The Bonfire. ‘I think him asking me, I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think that would be awesome.’

Miller has had a troubled life away from his career. An anonymous woman who had previously attended George Washington Univeristy with Miller told The Daily Beast in 2001 that Miller had become violent with her during a sexual encounter they had in college.

She accused him of choking and shaking her and even punching her in the mouth during the alleged incident, which other people interviewed corroborated.

Reporting from The Daily Beast revealed that the university had been alerted to the woman’s claims in 2001, and he was allegedly expelled as the result of disciplinary hearings.

In 2019 Miller claimed that the woman was jealous because she thought his wife Kate Miller, whom he married in 2015, had ‘stole[n] her life.’

Miller’s career took another negative turn in April of 2018, when he was arrested at LaGuardia Airport in Queens, New York City.

Miller (seen with his wife Kate in 2019 in NYC) was accused in 2017 of having been expelled in 2001 after allegedly sexually assaulting and punching a woman during sex. He was arrested in 2018 for making a fake bomb threat on an Amtraik train

Miller (seen with his wife Kate in 2019 in NYC) was accused in 2017 of having been expelled in 2001 after allegedly sexually assaulting and punching a woman during sex. He was arrested in 2018 for making a fake bomb threat on an Amtraik train

Federal charges related to a fake bomb threat were filed against him, and a Department of Justice press release accused him of making an emergency call on an Amtrak train in which he claimed that a woman onboard had a bomb in her bag.

The train was subsequently stopped and evacuated, and no explosive materials were found, but witnesses told investigators that Miller appeared to be heavily intoxicated and had previously had an altercation with a woman in the train’s first-class car before he was kicked off due to his alleged intoxication.

Miller was released on a $100,000 bond after appearing in federal court in Connecticut, and charges were dropped in 2021 after prosectors said that a brain surgery that he had in 2010 that may have had lasting neurological effects that could have influenced his behavior.

As part of the agreement to dismiss the charges, Miller agreed to repay law enforcement for costs related to investigation his false 911 call, and he agreed to undergo a program of ‘cognitive remediation’ to ensure that no similar incidents would occur.

Last week, Justin Baldoni escalated his legal war of words with Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively when he filed a $400 million against the two and her publicist, accusing them conspiring to trash his reputation with sexual harassment allegations that Lively previously made.

In court papers obtained by DailyMail.com, Baldoni accused Lively of hijacking the filming of their romantic drama It Ends With Us — which he directed.

He also accused her and her Deadpool star husband of ruining his experience of the film’s premiere by forcing him and his family to wait in a basement holding area surrounded by overstocked concession stand offerings and security guards to ensure that she wouldn’t see him in the theater.

In response to Baldoni’s new lawsuit, Lively’s attorneys issued a fiery statement to DailyMail.com, declaring: ‘This latest lawsuit from Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and its associates is another chapter in the abuser playbook.’

They added: ‘This is an age-old story: A woman speaks up with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation and the abuser attempts to turn the tables on the victim. This is what experts call DARVO. Deny. Attack. Reverse Victim Offender.’

The statement claimed Baldoni’s production company Wayfarer Studios ‘opted to use the resources of its billionaire co-founder to issue media statements, launch meritless lawsuits, and threaten litigation to overwhelm the public’s ability to understand that what they are doing is retaliation against sexual harassment allegations.’

Lively’s attorneys added: ‘They are trying to shift the narrative to Ms. Lively by falsely claiming that she seized creative control and alienated the cast from Mr. Baldoni. The evidence will show that the cast and others had their own negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer.

‘The evidence will also show that Sony asked Ms. Lively to oversee Sony’s cut of the film, which they then selected for distribution and was a resounding success.’

They continued: ‘Their response to sexual harassment allegations: she wanted it, it’s her fault. Their justification for why this happened to her: look what she was wearing.’

The statement concluded: ‘In short, while the victim focuses on the abuse, the abuser focuses on the victim. The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate, it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail.’

In a shocking turn of events, a resurfaced viral interview has exposed Ryan Reynolds’ “horrifically mean” treatment of his Deadpool costar TJ Miller. The interview, which was conducted years ago but has recently gained traction online, reveals the ugly truth behind the on-set dynamics between the two actors.

According to the interview, Reynolds was allegedly verbally abusive towards Miller, belittling him and making derogatory comments about his acting abilities. The revelations have sparked outrage among fans, who have condemned Reynolds for his behavior towards his costar.

This news comes amid a series of lawsuits filed against Reynolds by actor Justin Baldoni, who has accused the Deadpool star of mistreatment and discrimination on the set of their upcoming film. The lawsuits paint a disturbing picture of Reynolds as a tyrannical and abusive figure behind the scenes.

As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how Reynolds will respond to these damning allegations. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.

  • Tom Felton Has One Condition To Work With Harry Potter Co-Star Daniel Radcliffe Again

In the “Harry Potter” movies, the binary of “good” and “evil” is illustrated pretty well by Harry himself — played by Daniel Radcliffe — and his lifelong enemy Lord Voldemort. Still, Harry has plenty of minor villains to deal with along the way, and one is his schoolboy nemesis Draco Malfoy, portrayed throughout the franchise’s eight movies by Tom Felton. So would Felton and Radcliffe work together again? According to Felton, they’ve chatted about it a bit, but there would be a bit of a twist if the two ever teamed up for a different project.

In an interview with Digital Spy in May of 2022, Felton was asked about any possible reunions with any of his “Harry Potter” co-stars, and he said he’d leap at the chance to work alongside Radcliffe in particular. “We all talk about doing something again in all different ways,” Felton told the outlet. “Daniel and I have…

Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, recently revealed that he would be open to working with his former co-star Daniel Radcliffe again, but with one condition.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Felton shared that he would love to collaborate with Radcliffe on a project in the future, but only if it was the right opportunity. He stated, “I do think it would be quite fun to do something with him again. But I think the priority is to find something that really excites us both.”

Felton and Radcliffe shared the screen for over a decade in the Harry Potter franchise, forming a close bond both on and off set. Fans have been eager to see the two actors reunite for another project, and Felton’s recent comments have sparked excitement among Potterheads.

While there are no concrete plans for a collaboration between Felton and Radcliffe at the moment, the prospect of seeing the duo work together again is certainly enticing. Whether it be a film, TV show, or stage production, fans are eagerly awaiting the day when Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter share the screen once more.

  • Jane Seymour Opened Up Her Home to ‘Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman Costar’ Joe Lando and His Family amid Palisades Fire

Jane Seymour opened her home to her former Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman costar, Joe Lando, and his family.

As the deadly Palisades fire ravages Los Angeles, hundreds of people have lost their homes, including Lando, 63. On Saturday, Jan. 11, Lando revealed on Instagram that his former costar took him and his family into her home after the wildfires destroyed the Landos’ home.

Seymour, 73, said of the gesture, per TVLine. “My mother instilled in me from an early age that in times of great strife and struggle, reach out and help someone. Welcoming Joe and his family into our home while they try to make sense of the inexplicable is just what you do for family, and The Landos are our family.”

Seymour and Lando portrayed an on-screen couple from 1993 through the 1998 series finale.

“The Lando family is intact, all of us, our dogs and our two birds. Thankfully, there are angels in this world,” Lando began in his Instagram video. Lando married his wife Kirsten Barlow in 1997. They share four adult children: Jack, 26, Christian, 23, Kate, 21, and William, 17.

“We’re left with nothing except each other. My friend Jane Seymour allowed us to come over to her house and opened it up for us without any hesitation and thank God gave us someplace to come and sleep.”

In Lando’s video, he detailed the harrowing experience. “There hasn’t been any gas, and you can’t drink the water, and you can’t breathe the air,” he said. “I’ve never been through anything like this. It’s indescribable.”

The Higher Ground actor continued, “If it was just us, if it was just us, I’d be really okay with this. But it’s everybody. It’s everything. I’m just devastated and heartbroken for everybody. All the people we know.”

“There’s a lot of wealthy people in my neighborhood, a lot of very well-known folks, but that’s not the majority of this neighborhood. Most people are hardworking folks that have been living here for generations,” he said before noting that his in-laws lived in their home for over 40 years.

Rachel Zegler has finally shut down claims stating she was “obsessed” with her Romeo + Juliet co-star, Kit Connor.

In the comments of her December 29 Instagram post, which featured two photos of her co-star, the 23-year-old denied the accusations of being romantically interested in the 20-year-old actor.

The Snow White star quickly responded to the comment, taking the situation head-on and setting the record straight once and for all, replying, “No! Moving on.”

Many admirers of the actress rushed in support of her, saying, “I’m so tired of people saying you both like each other romantically, you guys just have a really good friendship!”

“You sticking up for yourself always is why you’re a dream. I’m obsessed with you.” another wrote.

She went on to say, “I think it’s important for fans to remember that just because two people have chemistry on screen, doesn’t mean they’re dating in real life. It’s all part of the magic of filmmaking.”

“I’m so tired of people saying you and Kit like each other romantically you guys just have a really good friendship!!” one fan wrote.

“Kit and Rachel are best friends and they are the best of friends,” another person commented.

A third fan told Zegler, “you sticking up for yourself always is why you’re a dream. I’m obsessed with you.”

Zegler is currently dating actor Josh Andrés Rivera after meeting on the set of “West Side Story.” Connor, for his part, came out as bisexual in November 2022 after feeling pressure from critics who accused him of “queerbaiting” by playing a bisexual teen on Netflix’s “Heartstopper.”

Zegler and Connor now play the titular roles in “Romeo + Juliet,” which marks both stars’ Broadway debuts.

The show officially opened in October and is set to run until February 2025. It’s directed by Sam Gould with music by Taylor Swift’s frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Zegler included several behind-the-scenes photos from the Broadway production in her Instagram post.

In one picture, the “West Side Story” actress posed with Connor, who snapped a mirror selfie of the pair.

Another image showed Connor holding Zegler over his shoulders as she gave a thumbs-up to the camera.

Zegler’s post also included shots of her in a green bikini and posing in front of a poster for her upcoming live-action “Snow White” movie.

“Moments of joy and dreams coming true. happy new year, all. be good to each other,” she wrote in her caption.

In an interview with Teen Vogue in October, Zegler talked about how she created a bond with Connor during “Romeo + Juliet” rehearsals.

“We would have lunch together every day. We were working in Brooklyn at the rehearsal studio,” she said. “We’d all go to Whole Foods and get our lunch and come back and eat together. And it was just the bits, the bits began. We love the bits.”

Connor noted that the pair didn’t feel awkward that “there’s a lot of grinding” in their show.

“I think chemistry wise, we naturally just all started to get on really well,” the “Heartstopper” star added.

In The Post’s review of “Romeo + Juliet,” critic Johnny Oleksinski gave the show two out of four stars and said Connor “shines.”

But Oleksinski was less impressed with Zegler and criticized her performance.

“Shakespeare’s words, however, do not come as naturally to Zegler as songs do, and sparks do not fly with Connor’s Romeo,” Oleksinski penned.

Additionally, he described the second half of the show “as hollow as a drum.”

Rachel Zegler, the talented actress set to star in the upcoming remake of “Romeo + Juliet,” has recently found herself at the center of some romantic rumors with her co-star Kit Connor. A claim has been made that Zegler is ‘obsessed’ romantically with Connor, sparking interest and speculation among fans.

In response to these rumors, Zegler took to social media to address the speculation head-on. She posted a heartfelt message, stating that she has the utmost respect for Connor as a colleague and friend, but that there is no truth to the rumors of a romantic relationship between them. She emphasized the importance of focusing on their work and maintaining a professional relationship on set.

Zegler also expressed her frustration with the constant scrutiny and speculation surrounding her personal life, urging fans to respect her boundaries and privacy. She emphasized that her main focus is on her career and delivering a powerful performance in the upcoming film.

As Zegler continues to rise to fame, it’s clear that she is determined to keep her personal life separate from her professional endeavors. With her talent and dedication to her craft, there’s no doubt that she will continue to impress audiences with her performances on screen.

  • Justin Baldoni to Sue It Ends with Us Costar Blake Lively ‘Soon’ Following Her Sexual Harassment Complaint (Exclusive Details)

Justin Baldoni to Sue It Ends with Us Costar Blake Lively ‘Soon’ Following Her Sexual Harassment Complaint (Exclusive Details)

Almost a week after Blake Lively accused her It Ends with Us costar Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and lauching a retaliatory public smear campaign against her, Baldoni’s lawyer says the actor/director plans to fire back with his own countersuit.

When asked by NBC News in an interview that aired Thursday, Jan. 2, if his client plans to sue Lively, attorney Bryan Freedman replied, “Absolutely … yes.”

“We plan to release every single text messages between the two of them,” Freedman told NBC News. “We want the truth to be out there. We want the documents to be out there. We want people to make their determination based on receipts.”

PEOPLE has exclusively learned that the plaintiffs will include Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios (his production company behind It End with Us), his publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis publicist Melissa Nathan. They plan to name Lively, her publicist Leslie Sloane and Baldoni’s former publicist Stephanie Jones in the suit. (Jones sued Baldoni, Wayfarer, Abel and Nathan on Dec. 24.)

Freedman did not provide a timetable in terms of when Baldoni’s countersuit will be filed, but a source with knowledge of the lawsuit said it will be filed “soon.”

It will be in response to Lively’s allegations in her Dec. 20 complaint, in which she claimed that Baldoni’s alleged behavior while making It Ends with Us and during its promotion caused her “grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety.” Lively’s complaint includes allegations that during production he showed her explicit images and videos, asked her about her personal sex life and attempted to add intimate scenes to the film that she had not originally agreed to. She also claimed that Baldoni, alongside his publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis firm TAG PR’s Melissa Nathan, attempted to manipulate social media and work alongside the press to “destroy” her reputation.

On Tuesday, Dec. 31, Baldoni sued The New York Times for libel in response to its Dec. 21 article “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.” The suit alleges the newspaper used “‘cherry-picked’ and altered communications stripped of necessary context and deliberately spliced to mislead” in its article regarding Lively’s lawsuit and behind-the-scenes trouble on It Ends with Us.

Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and It Ends with Us producers Jamey Heath and Steve Sarowitz, along with Jed Wallace, and publicists Nathan and Abel are named as plaintiffs in that lawsuit.

The New York Times defended its article as “meticulously and responsibly reported” in response to Baldoni’s suit.

In a statement Lively shared with The New York Times, she said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

In response to Llvely’s complaint, filed in California, Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman, told PEOPLE in a statement that it was filed to “fix her negative reputation,” and called her allegations “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.”

Lively has since filed a federal complaint, against Wayfarer Studios and others involved in producing It Ends with Us in the Southern District of New York.

“Nothing in this lawsuit changes anything about the claims advanced in Ms. Lively’s California Civil Rights Department Complaint,” said attorneys for Lively, 37, in a Dec. 31 statement obtained by PEOPLE. “While we will not litigate this matter in the press, we do encourage people to read Ms. Lively’s complaint in its entirety. We look forward to addressing each and every one of Wayfarer’s allegations in court.”

Since the first filing, Lively has received support from various of her famous friends, including A Simple Favor director Paul Feig and her The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars America FerreraAlexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn. Baldoni, meanwhile, has been dropped by his talent agency, WME, which still represents Lively. His Man Enough podcast co-host announced she was stepping away from the show on Monday, Dec. 23.

Freedman told PEOPLE exclusively on Dec. 29 that Baldoni’s lawsuit against Lively would form “a deliberate pursuit of truth.”

“This lawsuit will uncover and expose the false and destructive narrative that was intentionally engineered by a trusted media publication who relied upon nefarious sources and neglected a thorough fact checking process to confirm the validity of these texts,” he said at that time.

Justin Baldoni, star of hit TV show “Jane the Virgin,” is reportedly gearing up to sue his “It Ends with Us” costar Blake Lively “soon” following her recent sexual harassment complaint.

According to exclusive details obtained by our sources, Lively filed a formal complaint against Baldoni for allegedly making inappropriate advances towards her on set. The incident allegedly occurred during a heated argument between the two actors, leading to Lively feeling uncomfortable and unsafe in his presence.

While Baldoni has denied the allegations, claiming that the incident was a misunderstanding, Lively is said to be pursuing legal action against him. Sources close to the actress have revealed that she is determined to hold Baldoni accountable for his actions and ensure that he faces consequences for his behavior.

As the situation continues to escalate, tensions between the two costars are reportedly at an all-time high. It remains to be seen how this legal battle will unfold, but one thing is for certain: the drama between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively is far from over. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
