These take more aim, skill, and knowledge of certain characters. Certain characters are more mid to short-range, even if they use a gun. If the initial reticle is significant, that character wants to fight up close, such as Rocket Raccoon with his primary fire.

    Your Stats Are Irrelevant If They Didn’t Help The Objective

    It Is Easy To Pad Your Scores

    Many players will feel confident seeing that they dealt or blocked the most damage. But, who they were attacking will be a big factor. Players can shoot the enemy Peni Parker all day as she stands in her webs auto-healing, but it means nothing unless one destroys her nest in Marvel Rivals and actually eliminate her. Bitter players may use low numbers to belittle their teammates or opponents when these stats might actually have been what won the match.

    Marvel Rivals is an objective-based game, and the most important factor is whether a player’s actions set up their team to win or strongly disrupt the enemy. Having staggered deaths that misaligned respawns can cause a match to spiral out of control and is often better than getting a six-man wipe, the coveted Ace elimination. In some rare cases, purposely dying to meet back up with the team is the correct choice.

    The team Vanguard might need to sacrifice themselves if it means fully stopping the enemy. Cooldowns like Groot’s walls and Magneto’s shields can delay a full team for upwards of 10 seconds if spaced correctly. A player’s death could be enough to allow a teammate to follow up and crush the opposition.

    High damage might not even matter if it occurred far beyond the objective. This often happens on Convergence maps in Marvel Rivals, where the defenders get greedy, overextending, and attempting to spawn camp. All the while, an invisible Psylocke or Loki manages to steal the point uncontested.

    Match Replays Can Show How Impactful Your Positioning And Timing Was

    You Can View When And Where Your Actions Mattered

    Staring at the scoreboard either during or after a match is a waste of time in Marvel Rivals. Instead, one should watch the match replay fully to see where they did well, what mistakes were made, and how they can improve in the next match. Even more important is that players can see how their allies and the enemy also performed and will learn from their actions.

    The replay includes the entire timeline and showcases the specific times when people were eliminated. Players can also switch to different people’s points of view or zoom out to see the entire map from overhead. Most importantly, one can see players’ cooldowns while watching their perspective.

    Some important factors include line of sight for healers and against the enemy. Did players duck behind the cover but also made themselves available to be seen by the team’s Strategist? Just because Star-Lord can fly wherever he pleases doesn’t mean Adam Warlock or Mantis can see him. Shouting and pinging for healing is pointless unless one repositions.

    Post Malone revealed his latest superstar collaboration on Wednesday (Jan. 22) – only it’s not with another artist. Instead, Posty has teamed up with Oreo for his own special and limited edition creation.

    “Who wouldn’t want to make their own Oreo cookie?” he says. “I’ve been a big fan of these cookies my whole life so when the opportunity came up I couldn’t believe it.”

    Naturally, Post believes he dreamed up “the best Oreo ever,” which features a first for the cookie: a twisted creme center, combining salted caramel and shortbread flavors. The filling is sandwiched between a chocolate and golden cookie for, as Oreo says in a release, “a delicious duet of flavors in every bite.”

    As Post tells Billboard, “I really wanted to create a flavor that shows off my different sides – that was important to me.”

    “We tried like 50 different combinations,” he continues. “I’ve been really into salted caramel lately, so I knew that had to be part of it. The shortbread balanced out the flavor and made the perfect twist. The twist is by far my favorite part. It’s the first time Oreo has ever done this.     If the Chicago Bulls want to honor Derrick Rose with a statue in the future, the guard has some concerns.

    “[My] jersey being retired, I would love that. That would be my way of getting close to the Top 75, and I’m only saying that because it relates to the MVP,” Rose said. “It’s only a handful, a small group that got that trophy back there. And to think that way of playing, the Chicago way of playing, is not in that 75, it makes you think about it a little bit or question it a little bit.”

    Chicago has retired four jersey numbers — Jerry Sloan’s No. 4, Bob Love’s No. 10, Michael Jordan’s No. 23 and Scottie Pippen’s No. 33 — in the franchise’s history.
