  • Alan Cumming’s The Traitors Season 3 Looks, Ranked (PHOTOS)

Not only is The Traitors host Alan Cumming a devilishly delightful master of ceremonies for Peacock’s Emmy Award-winning competition series, but he shows up for every episode festooned in costumes that honor his beloved homeland of Scotland and his love of fashion.

All about making The Traitors host Alan Cumming’s immaculate wardrobe

Sam Specter has worked as Alan’s go-to, on-screen designer since the series premiered on Peacock in 2023, and the pair collaborate on every look from the jump.

Alan Cumming stands in front of a table with gold on it on The Traitors Season 3 Episode 1

“I want it to still feel like Alan,” Specter told Fashionista of the host’s wardrobe. “Alan’s an East Village guy that has this punk vibe, so we use some of those themes to get inspired as well. So I’ll do a chunky boot because that’s in style right now. I take fashion inspiration and work it into the Scottish themes … It’s the set, it’s the location, it’s the wardrobe, it’s the hair and makeup — it all makes this character, because he’s really playing a character. We like to say that it’s like this Scottish James Bond villain, because it’s a dark comedy show. Whenever he comes on, I just start laughing. It’s so kitschy, fun and dark. The wardrobe helps play into that.”

For Season 3, Alan’s wardrobe is already getting gasps from the contestants and audiences at home for the pair’s audacious choices. So, we feel duty bound to celebrate these selections. Here are some of our favorites this year, so far:

    6. The Traitor Turret Classic: Edward Gorey meets Agatha Christie

The costume that ties the series together. Alan’s secret subterfuge outfit has become synonymous with any nefarious midnight machinations associated with the Traitors. If you’re a long-time Alan fan, this look also gives allusions to his prior gig introducing Masterpiece Mystery! for PBS, which opened with the black and white line art of Edward Gorey.

This whole ensemble looks like it could have originated from the artist’s pen. The cloak and dagger silhouette also gives Alan stature and a sense of omnipotent power. Worn next to those flowing Traitor robes, he could be the leader of a Slytherin choir, and we love it.

    5. Dragon Age Selkie

For the first challenge of Season 3, Alan coordinated his breastplate with his tartan colors. The hardware accessories and Loch backdrop immediately had us fantasizing about Alan becoming a playable character in our favorite fantasy video game series.

    4. Alan Goes Green

How do you celebrate the Scottish Highlands? You become the Highlands…or at least incorporate some of it into your garb.

In Episode 3, Alan became one with the emerald grasses and summer feel of the grounds of Ardross Castle by wearing a tailored blazer that was adorned with actual moss, then swathed himself in green gauze. It was like high-concept camouflage more interested in being fabulous than functional.

    3. Cabaret of Curiosities

The Traitors producers brought back the scary carnival vibe early this season, and Alan met the moment with this ensemble that immediately brought to mind his Tony Award-winning role as the Emcee in the Broadway revivals of Cabaret.

The goth-inspired, black bleeding tear, the top hat, the tailored blazer, the second-skin black gloves … we were waiting for him to break out in song at any minute. No, we were not serenaded, but Alan’s whole upside-down Greatest Showman vibe more than made up for that disappointment.

    2. Fierce Harry Potter meets Vivienne Westwood

When Alan dragged the contestants out into the woods to complete their Episode 2 challenge, he appeared like fever dream Harry Potter who accidentally cast an Incendio spell on his Highland kilt. High couture meets the Forbidden Forest. Even lovely Lala is dressed to impress by his side. This is an outfit that even the legendary Vivienne Westwood would approve.

    1. Green Goddess Mode

Has Alan already fashion peaked in Episode 5? Because we were ready to give him the standing ovation of the season when he revealed this number. Without uttering a word, this outfit was giving us major, “Give me your dumb, your confused, your huddled riddle players yearning to breathe free…” in silent rebuke to the rest of the cast still playing for the potential $250,000.

Let’s be honest, the gang’s gameplay didn’t always deserve the brilliance of this fiery outfit, but we’re so glad he showed up and showed out with this kind of audacity.

Circle back here until the finale as we continue to assess, and rate, everything Alan is serving us all season long.

New episodes of The Traitors Season 3 premiere on Peacock on Thursdays at 9/8c, with the season finale and reunion premiering on March 6.

All episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream right now on Peacock

Similarly, the comedian and actress talked about her postpartum depression and the person who assisted her through it, who was none other than Drew Barrymore.

Cummings appeared on Barrymore’s talk show on January 16, Thursday. During the visit, she revealed that she was in the “deep throes of postpartum depression” when she was asked to make an appearance on the Hollywood Squares with The Wedding Singer actress.

She revealed that after she discovered that Barrymore would also be featured in the show, she made the decision to appear in the episode, which, according to her, “snapped” her out of it and also assisted her so much.

Cummins shared that she “needed” to witness other mothers “working or having fun,” and that was such a huge moment that healed her. The Female Brain star shared, “I think I was just putting so much pressure on myself and that really helped me just like release it.”

Cummins expressed that she was aware that even if she messed up, they’d make it hilarious and they’d figure that out, adding that she was “safe enough” to be able to feel like she could do that and if she couldn’t do that, then that was also okay.

The comedian revealed that she realized how much she defined herself through her “ability to make people laugh or be smart or say the thing in the moment or remember the thing the fastest, and my brain was not working.” Cummings confessed that she was terrified.

Barrymore, who shares two daughters, Olive and Frankie, with her ex-spouse, Will Kopelman, shared about how she experienced postpartum. The veteran actress revealed that she experienced isolation and did not know what happened with her “chemically.”

Barrymore expressed, “I felt so confused in the most profound and beautiful ways after I had my kids,” adding that she did not know “who” she was supposed to be and so she “did not know how to work.”

The performer mentioned feeling like not being able to “relate” to her friends in a similar way anymore.

Cummings, who welcomed her son in December 2023, said that Barrymore made her feel “safe.”

“I knew that even if I did suck, we’d make it funny and we’d figure it out,” she said. “Then, I was safe enough to be able to just feel like, ‘You can do this, and if you can’t do this, that’s also fine.”

Cummings said that moment helped her realize the pressure she was putting on herself was the thing that was blocking her.

“I realized how much I defined myself through my ability to make people laugh or be smart or say the thing in the moment or remember the thing the fastest, and my brain was not working,” Cummings admitted. “I was so scared.”

The Blended actress first struggled with postpartum depression when she had her younger daughter, Frankie, in 2014.

“It was just really challenging and I felt overwhelmed,” the actress told PEOPLE in a 2015 interview. “I made a lot of decisions and I definitely changed my work life to suit my parenthood.”

“I’m so grateful to have someone like Drew in my corner,” Cummings wrote. “She has been a constant source of love and encouragement, and I don’t know where I would be without her.”

Barrymore, who has been open about her own experiences with postpartum depression, has been a vocal advocate for mental health awareness and support. Cummings’ post is a testament to the power of friendship and the importance of reaching out for help during challenging times.

The post has received an outpouring of support from fans and followers, with many commending Cummings for her honesty and vulnerability. It serves as a reminder that no one is alone in their struggles, and that there is always help and hope available.

  • Whitney Cummings Continues to Demonstrate What Happens When A Comedy Career Slows Down

2 Broke Girls creator and podcast host Whitney Cummings is making headlines for all the wrong reasons, but that’s still better than no press when you don’t have any tour dates until next month.

Right now, the first responders and local governments of Los Angeles County are still trying to control the deadly and destructive wildfires that broke out last week when blistering winds reaching 90 mph rapidly accelerated numerous blazes in areas of Southern California that hadn’t seen rain for eight months. The widespread disaster has already displaced as many as 92,000 Americans, taken 24 lives and destroyed more than 12,000 houses, businesses, schools and other structures as firefighters and local officials continue to work tirelessly to contain the inferno.

While fire investigators have yet to determine what exactly sparked the numerous fires, the extreme weather and exceedingly dry conditions leave no doubt as to how the wildfires grew so immense, deadly and destructive — that is, unless you’re a C-tier Talk Tuah guest who dropped your last two stand-up specials on OnlyFans.

    @realwhitneycummings

The last few days of Cummings feed has everything you could ever expect from a washed-up comedian rebranding as a conservative conspiracy theorist: Shes shitting on Los Angeles and California despite the fact that she lives there, shes using a natural disaster to baselessly demonize the homeless instead of even considering how climate change could have exacerbated the extreme weather conditions and shes complaining about DEI hires and woke lesbian firefighters by calling out women by name whom she believes shouldnt be working their current life-saving jobs.

Cummings just needs to plug some shady supplement and throw in an insane anti-immigrant take on these tunnels to perfect her “Joe Rogan please have me back on your show” publicity stunt.

It goes without saying that none of Cummings claims about homeless people starting the fires by pouring gasoline into the sewer system or woke lesbians slowing the work of the first responders have any basis in reported facts, but truth is never the point when a medium-talent who recently slid off all mainstream platforms starts trying to steer online discourse over current events. “The amount of people I have seen waking up is really uplifting to me,” reads the top comment on Cummings’ TikTok post where she essentially doxxed the firefighters who are currently working to save her family and her home from the blazes.

“Take a note from Tom Segura and Joe Rogan, and move to Texas baby,” another alt-right supporter advised.

An ex-fan lamented of Cummings current career arc, “Damn. You’re falling into the anus of the internet. I thought you were a smart one.”

Its despicable to see a comedian who is struggling to book gigs besides her own podcast capitalize on a massive tragedy thats currently unfolding in her community by spreading disinformation, hate and Elon-Musk-level punchlines, but its not entirely unexpected. Cummings has been careening further and further to the right the longer Netflix has avoided her calls.

Unfortunately for Cummings, this heel turn is short-sighted — after the right bans all the porn websites, who will produce her specials?

Whitney Cummings Continues to Demonstrate What Happens When A Comedy Career Slows Down

Whitney Cummings, known for her sharp wit and hilarious stand-up routines, has been a staple in the comedy world for years. However, like many comedians, Cummings has experienced a slowdown in her career in recent years.

Despite facing some setbacks, Cummings continues to demonstrate resilience and creativity in navigating the ups and downs of the entertainment industry. Instead of letting her career stall, she has taken on new projects and embraced different opportunities to keep her comedic spark alive.

From launching her own podcast to writing and producing TV shows, Cummings has proven that a comedy career slowdown doesn’t have to mean the end of the road. By staying true to her comedic roots and staying open to new possibilities, she is showing that there is always a way to reinvent oneself and keep the laughs coming.

As fans eagerly await Cummings’ next big project, it’s clear that she is just getting started in demonstrating what happens when a comedy career slows down – it’s an opportunity to pivot, grow, and come back stronger than ever.

  • Whitney Cummings slammed for wild conspiracy about L.A. lesbian firefighters

Comedian, actress, writer, and podcaster Whitney Cummings has been slammed for sharing controversial remarks on social media in reaction to the Los Angeles fires — including a homophobic conspiracy theory.

Amid sharing posts that declared she would arm herself with a wooden sword to fight alleged arsonists and blaming the media for misreporting information about the fires, Cummings posted a video Friday questioning the leadership of the “lesbians in charge of” the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Sign up for the Out Newsletter to keep up with what’s new in LGBTQ+ culture and entertainment — delivered three times a week straight (well…) to your inbox!

“I came across a video of the fire chief. A lesbian. Love it…. Tried to be one, didn’t take,” Cummings said in an X video. “I don’t think I’m a lesbian…I just live in Los Angeles. The men are so effeminate that honestly, at this point, dating a woman is like the straightest thing you can do.”

Cummings is referring to Los Angeles’s first out LGBTQ+ fire chief, Kristin Crowley. Throughout the disaster, Crowley has become a lightning rod of social media criticism among conservatives, who have called her a “DEI hire” and accused her of being unqualified — despite decades of experience.

Though Cummings acknowledged that “lesbians can be firefighters” and that she’s not “thinking about your genitals or your preferences” when it comes to emergency responders, she then proposed that gay women running the LAFD are deliberately “recruiting more lesbians” to work with them.

Cummings compared this alleged hiring process to a gay man only hiring other gay men, a straight woman wanting to hire “more hot guys” to work with, or a straight man declaring that his workplace needs “more hot blondes.” Cummings then posed the question, “Isn’t that essentially just recruiting people in your dating pool to work at your office?”

The video concluded with Cummings showing an X post claiming that “all of the people in charge of L.A.’s fire response are lesbians named Kristin.” She adds, “I don’t recall voting on a prop that said we could recruit our fire team off Grindr. What?”

    x.com

Lesbians were not Cummings’s only controversial target. In other incendiary social media posts, Cummings mused about “people in L.A. talking about fire retardant more than they need to because they’re having fun using the R-word again.” She also joked about hoping that alleged arsonists “aren’t near where Diddy stored his video tapes.”

And when an X user replied with a conspiracy theory that the recent L.A. fires were related to a “massive land grab and the upcoming Olympics,” Cummings replied, “A lot of people talking about this.”

Out has reached out to Whitney Cummings for comment.

Best known for creating the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, starring on NBC’s Whitney, and hosting the Good for You podcast, Cummings is set to appear soon as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 17.

How are people reacting to Whitney Cummings’s posts?

Whitney Cummings’s conspiracy theories about the 2025 Los Angeles fires have prompted a negative response from Hollywood stars, influencers, and other social media users. Content creator and Out100 honoree Matt Bernstein (@mattxiv) wrote on X: “I’m fine with a straight guy but THREE straight men? Something’s fishy,” in response to Cummings’s reaction about three lesbian firefighters.

    x.com

Without naming names, actor, writer, and comedian Guy Branum shared a few reactions Saturday that seem pointed at Cummings. These X posts read: “Multiple lesbians being at the top of an organization that requires brute strength, technical skill, and a desire to save people isn’t DEI, it’s nature taking its course.”

    x.com

In what seemed to be a reaction to Cummings’s intent to fight arsonists with wooden swords, Branum stated, “If you are trying to hunt down an arsonist with a blowtorch, you should probably bring a weapon that isn’t, you know, highly flammable.”

    x.com

Branum also called out this type of behavior in an Instagram video:

“This is not a universal amongst comedians right now, but I just wanted to say that I think being a vigilante is bad. Going into dangerous areas where there are active fires and emergency crews are working, with weapons, because you think you’re going to hunt down the arsonists… It’s danger to yourself, it’s a danger to innocent people who you could mistake for arsonists, and it’s a danger to the rescue crews who might have to save you from harm you do to yourself.”

The Bros star continued, “I love free speech, [and] I love America protecting free speech, but I think that people advocating, modeling, and doing dangerous things during times of crisis is dumb and it’s wrong. I feel obliged to say: I don’t think you should do it. I don’t think you should encourage people to do it. I think it’s really dumb. And I think, if you don’t like California, I’m excited for you to leave.”

    www.instagram.com

@theserfstv shared a Family Guy meme that shows Lois Griffin staring at a pill bottle that reads:

“Throwing LGBTQ+ people under the bus to salvage dead career.”

    x.com

    X user @KrangTNelson wrote:

“[Seeing people pour gasoline into the sewer] f*ck I gotta text comedian Whitney Cummings about this.”

    x.com

Cummings is far from the only person to blame LGBTQ+ people for the L.A. fires. In addition to the online vitriol aimed at Crowley, a man made headlines last week for saying “all the gay people in L.A.” were responsible for the destruction in an interview with local reporters, who quickly shut him down.

    This story is developing…

Whitney Cummings is facing backlash after making a controversial claim about lesbian firefighters in Los Angeles. In a recent podcast episode, Cummings suggested that there is a secret society of lesbian firefighters in L.A. who are deliberately setting fires in order to gain more power and influence in the city.

The comedian’s wild conspiracy theory has been met with widespread criticism and disbelief. Many people have called out Cummings for spreading baseless and harmful rumors about a group of dedicated public servants. Some have accused her of perpetuating harmful stereotypes and stoking fear and distrust among the public.

It is important to remember that conspiracy theories like the one Cummings has put forth can have real-world consequences, especially when they target marginalized communities. Spreading false information and inciting unfounded fear and suspicion only serves to divide us and undermine trust in our institutions.

As of now, Cummings has not issued a public apology or retracted her statements. It remains to be seen how she will address the backlash and whether she will take responsibility for her harmful words. In the meantime, it is important to approach such outlandish claims with skepticism and critical thinking, rather than giving in to fear and prejudice.

Whitney Cummings' New Year roast of Kamala Harris viral: 'She was forced on us you'd think she was patented by Pfizer'
Whitney Cummings said Kamala Harris was forced on us like a Pfizer or Moderna-patented vaccine.

CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live special saw firecrackers as comedian Whitney Cummings did not think twice before dishing out her sharpest jokes against the Democratic Party and Kamala Harris. She did not even flinch once, thinking she was live on CNN, the mainstream channel known for leaning toward the Democratic Party. “The Democrats couldn’t hold a primary…they were too busy holding a body upright,” Cummings said hinting at Joe Biden’s poor health.
“It was amazing that the pro-choice party didn’t give their voters one when it came to the presidential candidate,” Cummings said.

“Kamala was forced on us so hard you’d think she was patented by Pfizer or Moderna whichever ones…” Cummings said as CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen looked stunned at her jokes. Moderna and Pfizer were the two major pharmaceuticals who came up with vaccine against Covid-19.
As the clip went viral, Cummings reacted to some of the comments on X and asked whether she said any lie.

“this is what I said at the end of my roast set on CNN tonight that I zoomed through beacause I was running out of time (and scared) : Since I only have a minute left and I’m live on an establishment media, I figured I’d list some of things mainstream media will never cover: The first trump shooter didn’t have any silverware in his house,The Crown prince of Saudi Arabia put money into Disney, why is fluoride still in our water? Monsanto paid Google to skew search results, why are so many presidents chefs dead?” Cummings continued her roast on X and social media users, especially MAGA supporters could not stop gushing how good she was.
Comedian-actor Cummings in March said she does not agree with either political party and said only Robert F Kenndy Jr, the then Independent candidates — has her support.

Whitney Cummings New Year Roast: Whitney Cummings’ New Year Roast of Kamala Harris Goes Viral

Comedian Whitney Cummings is known for her sharp wit and fearless humor, and she didn’t hold back in her recent New Year roast of Vice President Kamala Harris. In a scathing monologue that has since gone viral, Cummings took aim at Harris, saying, “She was forced on us, you’d think she was patented by Pfizer.”

Cummings didn’t mince words as she skewered Harris for her perceived lack of authenticity, questioning her motives and calling her out for what she saw as pandering to certain demographics. The comedian’s biting commentary struck a chord with many viewers, who took to social media to share their reactions to the roast.

While some praised Cummings for her boldness and humor, others criticized her for being too harsh or insensitive. Regardless of where you fall on the spectrum, there’s no denying that Cummings’ New Year roast of Kamala Harris has sparked a conversation and left a lasting impression on those who watched it.

  • Whitney Cummings Taunts Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper Invoking Kathy Griffin; Roasts CNN’s Ratings, Disney & More

Whitney Cummings Taunts Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper Invoking Kathy Griffin; Roasts CNN’s Ratings, Disney & More

Whitney Cummings lit up CNN New Year’s Eve Live special with her fiery jokes that included a reference to Anderson Cooper‘s former co-host, Kathy Griffin.

Cummings made an appearance on the CNN special and immediately got into taunting Cooper and Andy Cohen.

“Was that thunder?” Cummings asked the co-hosts as she took the stage in Times Square amid a rainy night.

Cummings continued, “Are you sure? I thought it was Kathy Griffin screaming at you from the street? Are you sure? I think she’s cursing.”

Cooper reacted, adding, “Well, no doubt.”

Griffin co-hosted the New Year’s Eve Live special with Cooper from 2007 until 2017, developing the format where the comedian made the news anchor uncomfortable with her risky jokes. Griffin was cut from the CNN special in 2017 after backlash over a publicity photo that depicted her with an effigy severed head of Donald Trump. Cohen, was named the new co-host in 2017 and has been with the show since.

Cummings promoted that in 2025, she will continue with her comedy tour, noting that she’s “playing bigger and bigger venues.” The comedian then took a job at CNN’s ratings, adding, “I thought being a mom would mean that less people want to come see me. I’m now playing, like 3000-seat theater, which is about the viewership of CNN these days.”

Cummings was given space to roast 2024 to “hold 2024 accountable for its behavior,” mentioning several big names in entertainment.

“This was the year that people were behaving so poorly we started being wistful about murderers,” Cummings said. “Remember, this was the year we were like, were the Menendez brothers so bad? Were we too hard on the Menendez brothers?”

Cummings was referring to the brothers who were convicted in the 1990s after they murdered their parents. Netflix dramatized the events in Ryan Murphy’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, bringing the case back into the spotlight and making people advocate for their release.

“White supremacy groups reached record highs,” Cummings said in another one of her jokes. “It got so bad Ariana Grande became white again.”

Cummings also took shots at Hollywood, saying, “We also started watching older women in movies. Equality or insanity? You tell me.”

“Demi Moore was in a movie called The Substance showing that Hollywood is ready for a woman in her 50s to star in a movie as long as a hot 28-year-old wears a leotard for most of it,” she added. “Pam Anderson is getting Oscar buzz for a movie she did wearing no makeup. Guys, it’s not progress if you call it brave.”

Cummings also took a shot at Disney, saying the “Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia put money into Disney, so just know there won’t be any girl characters in the next Cars movie.”

Cohen was not exempt from Cummings roast, making the Watch What Happens Live host the punchline of a joke about the movie Joker.

“This is the year everyone hated the movie The Joker, but if you do love watching men descend into insanity in a couple of hours, you get to watch Andy Cohen do the countdown,” she joked.

At the end of her roast, Cummings said, “I can’t believe you guys are still letting me go. This is amazing. I love CNN. Please stop me, Andy, because I will just keep going… No censorship on CNN. Love you, guys.”

Whitney Cummings took to social media to throw some major shade at Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, while also invoking the name of their former colleague Kathy Griffin. In a series of tweets and Instagram posts, Cummings called out Cohen and Cooper for their treatment of Griffin after her controversial photo scandal back in 2017.

Cummings didn’t hold back, saying, “Hey @Andy @andersoncooper remember when you threw @kathygriffin under the bus? Just wondering how that worked out for you.” She then went on to roast CNN’s declining ratings and Disney’s recent struggles.

The comedian didn’t stop there, also poking fun at Cohen’s hosting skills and suggesting that Griffin should have her own talk show. Cummings’ bold and unapologetic posts quickly gained attention from fans and media outlets alike, with many applauding her for speaking out against the perceived injustices.

It’s clear that Cummings isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers and speak her mind, and her latest posts certainly didn’t disappoint. It will be interesting to see if Cohen and Cooper respond to her taunts, or if they choose to ignore the drama altogether. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing feud.
