“Saturday Night Live” is bringing Studio 8H to Radio City Music Hall with a three-hour, livestreamed concert on Feb. 14, in celebration of the sketch comedy series’ 50th anniversary.
Jimmy Fallon will host the event, which boasts a lineup including Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys and Post Malone. Mumford & Sons, Jack White, David Byrne, Robyn, Eddie Vedder, DEVO, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Jelly Roll, the B-52s, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the Roots will also perform, with more artists to be announced.
Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson will executive produce the “Homecoming Concert,” which will stream live on Peacock on Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. ET. The concert special will also play at fan screening events at select Imax theaters at Regal Cinemas. Free tickets to those screenings — taking place in California (Regal Edwards Ontario Palace), Pennsylvania (Regal UA King of Prussia), Texas (Regal Lone Star), New York (Regal Deer Park) and Florida (Regal South Beach) — will be available at a later date.
The Radio City concert comes two days before the official “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” a three-hour live broadcast show taking place Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET. It’s the latest in a string of “SNL50” celebrations. NBC put out a four-part docuseries from Morgan Neville titled “SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night,” which preceded a documentary special from Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Oz Rodriguez called “Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music.”
“SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” is produced by Broadway Video. Erin David and Caroline Maroney are also producers, Ken Aymong and Rob Paine serve as supervising producers and Beth McCarthy-Miller is the director.

The source continues, “He calls her all the time and sends her messages but she completely ignores him. She won’t pick up his calls but he keeps trying. He’s also begged [her siblings] Noah and Braison to work on her on his behalf.”
The insider adds that the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, 63, has said that “all he wants this year is to get Miley back in his life,” and he’s having a hard time accepting the riff between them is permanent.
“He truly can’t believe that it’s come to this. Firerose previously spoke out in an October 2024 interview with Stellar magazine about wishing she could go back and tell her younger self to “run” when she first met Cyrus on the set of Hannah Montana at age 22.
“When I think about what I just went through, I would have told my 22-year-old self to run in the opposite direction and never look back,” she told the magazine.
In the interview, the “After the Storm” singer claimed Cyrus “love-bombed” her and alleged he sought to isolate her.

For his part, Cyrus requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud during their divorce proceedings, and alleged Firerose was “physically,” verbally and emotionally abusive in a lawsuit. She denied all allegations against her.

I was there for the people and we had a blast. That’s called rock n roll!!!”
Days after Trace’s open letter, Billy Ray announced that he’ll be releasing a new album this summer produced by son Braison.
Braison, 30, spoke positively about the family patriarch in a statement, writing that he’d spent the last year “getting to know my dad better than I ever have.”
“I’ve heard stories, jokes and songs that I don’t think anyone else has. While trying to perform an a cappella version of the song once the backing music cut out, Cyrus awkwardly walked around the stage and sang in an offbeat manner with a raspy voice.
“Is my guitar still on? I think they cut me off. Is my guitar on guys? I don’t hear my guitar anymore,” he asked before turning to crew members and yelling, “Is anyone awake?”
Agitated, Miley Cyrus‘ dad said, “Y’all want me to sing more or you just want me to get the hell off the stage? I don’t give a damn.”
A crew member eventually came out on stage to fix Cyrus’ guitar so he could continue with the rest of the performance. Meanwhile, fans watching at home were concerned, as something seemed off with the Hannah Montana alum.
“That was truly a scary experience,” one user wrote on X. “Not sure if he was sick or drunk or both.” Another user said Cyrus “should never have been let on stage.”

As a backstage aide came to assist, Cyrus said, “In life, when you have technical difficulties, you just gotta keep going, or as President Trump would say, ‘You gotta fight.’”
With the issue not being resolved, Cyrus decided to sing “Achy Breaky Heart” a cappella, while snapping his fingers and attempting to engage with the crowd.

In a statement to People magazine Tuesday, Cyrus said, “I wouldn’t have missed the honor of playing this event whether my microphone, guitar and monitors worked or not. I was there because President Donald J. Trump invited me. I had a ball at the Liberty Ball last night, and I’ve learned through all these years when the producer says, ‘You’re on,’ you go entertain the folks even if the equipment goes to hell. I was there for the people, and we had a blast. That’s called rock n’ roll!!!”

At the moment, “Flowers” doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere. The song currently holds at No. 2 on the Adult Contemporary chart, behind only “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims. That smash, which helped the crooner earn his first Grammy nomination, is the seventh-longest-leading No. 1 ever, with 23 stays inside the penthouse.

As of this week, “Flowers” has lived on both of Billboard’s worldwide rankings for 104 weeks, or exactly two years. Hers isn’t the first single to ever manage that feat, but it does easily stand out as the singer’s longest stay on the tallies.
