• 2024-25 Trade Tracker: Every official dealLOS ANGELES (AP) — Luka Dončić is now expected to make his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night against the Utah Jazz (10:30 ET, NBA League Pass), coach JJ Redick says.
Dončić hasn’t played since Christmas due to a strained left calf. Redick initially suggested Dončić could play for the Lakers on Saturday against Indiana, but revised his forecast Thursday night before the Lakers hosted the Golden State Warriors.
“Probably more likely Monday,” Redick said. “No commitment made on anything, but probably trending more toward Monday.”
The Lakers acquired the Slovenian superstar last weekend, giving up Anthony Davis in a blockbuster trade with Dallas. Dončić participated in a 5-on-5 “stay-ready” game with teammates and the Lakers’ coaching staff Wednesday, and Redick said Doncic has experienced no setbacks in his recovery from the calf injury.
“All is well. All is positive,” Redick said. “Hopefully we get the word at some point in the next few days that he is going to play. We all want to see him in a Laker uniform.”
Four days after acquiring Dončić, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris from the Mavericks, the Lakers continued their roster overhaul Wednesday night by acquiring 7-foot-2 center Mark Williams from Charlotte in a trade for rookie Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddick.
The league still hadn’t formally approved the trade Thursday night, which meant Redick couldn’t talk about the potential impact of Williams on Los Angeles’ dramatically revamped roster. The Lakers are more focused on getting off to a good start with Dončić, whenever that may happen.
“We want him to feel confident,” Redick said. “We want our medical staff to feel confident. We don’t want to rush anything here. I think we’re all anticipating that. I know the fans are anticipating that, and certainly our players and our coaching staff are anticipating that. I think the one thing we all have in the back of our mind as we’ve shifted and had to recalibrate here in the last week — we’re not going to be able to just snap our fingers and it’s all going to work right away. There’s work to be done once he’s healthy and back in the lineup, and that’s going to be fun.”
After missing the past seven games due to an ankle injury, Luka Dončić is expected to make his highly anticipated debut for the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night against the Utah Jazz. The talented point guard has been rehabbing diligently and is finally ready to take the court with his new team.Dončić’s addition to the Lakers lineup is sure to provide a much-needed boost, as the team has struggled in his absence. His playmaking abilities, scoring prowess, and basketball IQ will undoubtedly make a significant impact on both ends of the floor.
Fans and analysts alike are eager to see how Dončić will gel with his new teammates and how he will fare in the Lakers’ system. With his versatility and skill set, Dončić has the potential to be a game-changer for the Lakers as they push for a playoff spot.
Be sure to tune in on Monday night to witness Luka Dončić’s Lakers debut and see how he performs against the Jazz. It’s sure to be an exciting game filled with highlight-reel plays and electrifying moments. Let’s go Lakers! #LukaDoncic #LakersDebut #NBA

Photo Credit: Sean Hagwell | Photo ID (L to R) Mac McAnally, Eric Darken and Kenny Chesney NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 3, 2025) — Mac McAnally’s magical hold on his audience was on full display at the Ryman Auditorium on Friday. Greeted with a standing ovation as he walked onstage with no introduction, it was clear the music fans who packed the iconic venue were there to see the multi-hyphenate songwriter/musician/producer and especially artist in one of America’s most historic rooms. No frills, just 2,500 souls in awe of a tender and talented steward of music.
Mac McAnally began by introducing much-awarded percussionist and fellow Coral Reefer, Eric Darken, who brought an assembly of pots, pans and other items you wouldn’t expect to see on a drum kit in the Ryman – or anywhere else. Their chemistry evoked another of McAnally’s closest partners and best friend, Jimmy Buffett. Buffett, who never got to headline at the Ryman, despite it being a longtime wish, was there in spirit as well as literally with McAnally placing Buffett’s microphone and guitar center stage.
The late songwriter/raconteur and 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s presence could be felt in the room the entire evening. McAnally began his set with “Son of A Son of A Sailor” in Jimmy’s honor. The evening then intertwined McAnally classic solo favorites, Buffett songs that held specific memories, and hit songs McAnally has written through the years for other artists. Not only did McAnally show off his signature guitar work, which earned the soft-spoken Mississipian 10 CMA Musician of the Year Awards, but he sat at a grand piano for mashups of “Over The Rainbow” and “Grapefruit – Juicy Fruit” and Alabama’s “Old Flame,” Shenandoah’s “Two Dozen Roses,” and Sawyer Brown’s “Thank God For You,” – all created from the genius of Mac’s penstroke.
Mid-show, Mac introduced friend and fellow icon Kenny Chesney, who arrived to thunderous cheers. They launched into “Down The Road,” the duet that took McAnally and Chesney to the top of the charts in 2009. After reminiscing about a rainy evening in Key West at Buffett’s house where they wrote “Island Rain,” the pair performed that alongside a touching take on “Come Monday,” which they’d performed with James Taylor at Buffett’s Rock Hall induction. They were joined by Coral Reefer lead guitarist Peter Mayer for the moment, who stayed on stage to perform the “sequel” to that song, which McAnally and Buffett wrote together, a beautiful song called “Coast of Carolina” for Buffett’s 2004 License to Chill record.
Mac McAnally reflected on the evening, saying, “Friday night at the Ryman was a singular highlight in an overly blessed life. Surrounded by family and heroes and friends and a magical building full of folks who saw fit to invest time and effort to be there and share it with me. I can’t sufficiently thank all who came, worked, played and allowed it to be. But I will never stop trying… Couldn’t have happened without Jimmy Buffett. So grateful for Kenny Chesney, Peter Mayer and the force of nature that is Eric Darken. Great sound by Duane Allen and lights by Chaz Martin. Hard work by everyone at TKO and United Talent. As good a time as I’ve ever had. I’m overwhelmed and clearly don’t know how and when to shut up about it! Thanks to all.”
“It was pure joy up there on stage at the Ryman with Mac. Sharing stories about writing songs in Key West at Jimmy’s house. I didn’t realize how much I needed that. It was just joyful to be up there playing music with Mac and the guys,” said Kenny Chesney.
The evening ended with Chesney returning to perform the McAnally-penned Number One “Back Where I Come From,” as well as pay one last tribute to Buffett with “A Pirate Looks At Forty.” On a monumental night in the legendary Ryman Auditorium, Mac McAnally made it feel like church, love, laughter and family – exactly what a bucket list moment in a sold out temple of music should be.

When will he debut for Lakers?
The NBA world was left speechless Sunday morning after waking up and learning that the Dallas Mavericks, fresh off a trip to the NBA Finals, were trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis and a 2029 first-round pick.
Many fans criticized the Mavericks for making such a move, saying that a 25-year-old who just finished third in MVP voting was far more valuable than a 31-year-old who achieved that same feat in 2017-18. That said, there was one glaring issue with the Lakers’ trade: Doncic is currently nursing a calf injury that has kept him off the court since Christmas.
That’s over a month of NBA basketball that Doncic has missed now. While he doesn’t have a serious injury history, having played at least 60 games in every season of his career, he’s already missed more games this season than he has in any other. So, when will Doncic suit up in the purple and gold?
Here are the latest updates regarding the young star’s calf injury.

Luka Doncic injury rumors
Return before the All-Star break likely
There is optimism that Doncic will return to the court before NBA All-Star weekend begins on Valentine’s Day. Before the trade was announced, NBA insider Marc Stein reported that the Mavericks were originally anticipating a Feb. 8 return for their star, but were worried about his conditioning then pushed it back a few days.
This report is backed up by reporter John Gambadoro, who says that Doncic was expected to play on Feb. 8 at home against Houston when the Mavericks returned from their five-game road trip.
These reports indicate that Doncic is likely close to healthy enough to play as is, but may need a few more days rest in order to get back to his normal self. The Lakers may currently be fifth in the Western Conference, but only sit 4.5 games up on the 11th-place Golden State Warriors. They may not be able to wait that long for Doncic.
Feb. 10 or 12 is the date to watch
On Monday, ESPN’s Marc Spears reported that Doncic is eyeing a return on either Feb. 10 when the Lakers play the Jazz in Los Angeles or Feb. 12, when they travel to Utah.
NBA News:De’Aaron Fox, Victor Wembanyama partnership begins, grading Spurs-Kings trade
Those are the final two games that the Lakers will play before the All-Star break. They will not play again until Feb. 19 against Charlotte.
The question on every Lakers fan’s mind: When will he debut for Lakers? With the recent acquisition of a highly anticipated player, the excitement and anticipation for his debut with the Lakers are at an all-time high. Fans are eagerly awaiting the moment when he steps onto the court in the purple and gold jersey, ready to make a huge impact on the team.
But the big question remains: When will he make his debut? Will it be in the next game, or will fans have to wait a little longer for his grand entrance? Speculations and rumors are swirling, but one thing is for sure – when he finally does take the court, it will be a moment to remember.
So, Lakers fans, keep your eyes peeled and your jerseys ready, because the debut of this player is sure to be one for the books. Stay tuned for updates and get ready to witness history in the making.

Heidi Klum’s 19-Year-Old Son Follows In His Supermodel Mom’s Footsteps With Paris Runway Debut
A new model has emerged in the iconic Klum family. German-American model and television personality Heidi Klum‘s eldest son Henry Samuel made his debut on the runway for the first time last night. The 19-year-old turned muse for the label Lena Erziak at the Paris Couture Week. He not only donned ensembles from Lena Erziak Haute Couture spring 2025 show but took after his supermodel mother in the sensational moment.
Samuel hit the red carpet at the Paris Hotel le Marois in not one, but two black suits; each equally designed with proper precision. The first one featured an open back; something not thought of before. It also included standardised broad and slanted collars with full sleeves. Additionally, a long piece of knotted fabric fastened around the waist added edginess to his outfit. The young Klum lad teamed his uniquely designed upper with sleek pants that looked stylish.
Henry Samuel’s stylist opted for a top-knotted ponytail hairstyle that added an oomph factor to his overall look. Minimal accessories, including only a pair of polished shoes, were enough to round off his charm.

Coming to his second look, the 19-year-old wore another black suit that screamed luxury. The stylish ensemble was layered with no shirt or t-shirt. Instead, a gigantic scarf made of a silk fabric of the same hues was tightened on his neck. The lengths flowed downwards, adding volume to Samuel’s overall glam. He kept his accessories, makeup and hairstyle completely the same as the first and let his ensemble do the talking.
What worked like magic for his overall glam game was that the iconic designer asked him to straighten his gaze and walk like he was balancing a book on his head.

Heidi Klum and Seal’s Son Made His Runway Debut at Couture Fashion Week
Heidi Klum‘s son, Henry Samuel, is following in his super model mother’s footsteps. Earlier this week, the burgeoning model made his runway debut during the Lena Erziak Haute Couture spring 2025 show as a part of Paris Couture Week.
While coming down the runway, Samuel, whom Klum shares with ex-husband Seal, wore two different black suits: One featured a backless blazer and a sash tied around his waist, while the other was accessorized with a large satin cape that had bedazzled brooches and was draped over his shoulders. The 19-year-old’s braids were worn in a half-up style, and he sported a mustache.

Although it doesn’t seem that Klum was in attendance at Tuesday’s show, she was quite the proud mother when she took to Instagram to share a clip of Samuel walking. “I still can’t get over this! You rocked it Henry—I‘m so proud of you! @henrysamle @lena_erziak,” she wrote alongside the video that was captured by Vogue Germany.
Ahead of the show, Samuel told the publication that he was excited to get out there and enjoy his foray into the fashion world. “I’m more excited than nervous. I’m going to do my best and try to enjoy every moment to the fullest!”

Samuel shared that he also got some words of wisdom from his famous mother and model sister, Leni Klum—who made her own runway debut in 2021. “Leni told me to look straight ahead and walk as if I was balancing a book on my head,” he shared. “My mother told me to do my best and not forget to have fun.

“My mother often reminds me to pay attention to my posture, so I try to heed her advice,” he added.
Klum and Seal share Henry and Leni, as well as son Johan and daughter Lou. Klum and Seal split in 2012, and the model went on to re-marry Tom Kaulitz in 2019. Klum previously revealed that Kaulitz has a great relationship with her kids and even asked their blessing before proposing to their mom. “The sweetest thing that my partner has done for me is [ask] my kids first if he could ask for my hand,” she told People last year. “He was in cahoots with my kids. They figured out how they were going to do it and then they all surprised me on Christmas morning. I thought that was so nice that he involved my kids.”
Heidi Klum and Seal’s son, Johan Samuel, made his runway debut at Couture Fashion Week and stole the show! Johan, who is only 14 years old, walked the runway for the first time and impressed everyone with his confidence and poise.Heidi Klum, who is a renowned supermodel and fashion icon, was in the front row cheering on her son as he strutted his stuff on the catwalk. Seal, Johan’s father and Grammy-winning singer, was also in attendance and couldn’t have been more proud of his son’s accomplishment.
Johan looked dashing in a designer suit and showed off his modeling skills with grace and style. It’s clear that he has inherited his parents’ talent and charisma, and we can’t wait to see where his modeling career takes him in the future.
Congratulations to Johan Samuel on his runway debut at Couture Fashion Week – we have a feeling this is just the beginning of a successful modeling career for this young star!

4:36 pm: Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd confirmed that Exum will be available on Friday to make his season debut, tweets Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News. Exum will be on a 15-minute limit, according to Kidd.
4:26 pm: Mavericks point guard Dante Exum, who has missed the first 48 games of the season while recovering from surgery on his right wrist, appears set to make his season debut on Friday, reports NBA insider Marc Stein (Twitter link).
Exum is officially listed as questionable to play in Detroit on Friday night, so the Mavs themselves have yet to confirm he’s been cleared to return. But Stein’s reporting suggests he’s on track to suit up, barring any last-minute setbacks.
The expectation is that Exum will play limited minutes, Stein adds. Still, there could be a path to an immediate role for the former No. 5 overall pick, given Dallas’ injury woes — Luka Doncic (left calf strain), Dereck Lively (right ankle stress fracture), Dwight Powell (right hip strain), and Maxi Kleber, who underwent surgery this week to repair a right foot fracture, according to a team press release, are all sidelined.
Exum, who returned to the NBA last season after spending two years overseas, was a valuable role player for the Western Conference champions, averaging 7.8 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game across 55 appearances (17 starts). He posted a .533/.491/.779 shooting line and was one of the team’s best point-of-attack defenders.
He spoke on Wednesday about the long recovery from his wrist injury, as Eddie Sefko of Mavs.com relays.
“I think it would have been a lot easier if it was my left hand,” Exum said. “But it being my shooting hand and having to get the touch and the shooting form back, obviously, made it a little bit tougher.
“… It was hard for me to see everyone out there playing. And then with the season going on and seeing guys go down and having less and less bodies on particular nights, wishing I could just be out there to help for five or 10 minutes. It’s been tough. But being around the guys and everyone stayed connected. I can’t wait to get back on the court.”
The Dallas Mavericks have announced that guard Dante Exum is set to make his season debut on Friday. Exum, who was acquired by the Mavericks in a trade with the Houston Rockets earlier this season, has been recovering from a calf injury that has kept him sidelined for the first few months of the season. The 26-year-old guard is known for his defensive prowess and ability to play both guard positions. His return is expected to provide a boost to the Mavericks’ backcourt rotation and add depth to the team’s roster.
Mavericks fans are eager to see Exum in action and are hopeful that his presence on the court will help the team continue their strong start to the season. Be sure to tune in on Friday to see Exum make his season debut and help the Mavericks in their quest for a playoff berth.

Penta Explains Significance Of WWE Debut, Former WWE Star Wants In Wyatt Sicks, CM Punk Gives AJ Lee/Rumble Update
During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Penta discussed his WWE debut on the January 13th episode of RAW.
Penta noted that he had mixed feelings about his WWE debut.
He said, “Oh, man, actually, I had mixed feelings and emotions. When I heard the ‘one, two, three,’ I turned around my head to the crowd, I see my daughter crying. I feel so proud about me, and next I feel so proud about my family. In my mind, it’s, ‘I did this because this is my dream.’ My family is here, the big place, California. California represents something special for me in my career because I started in LA. What a [special] night for me. Chad Gable, this match with Chad Gable, turning point in my career because Chad Gable is one of the beat wrestlers in the world. Very professional, very…he have something like me, the passion for this business. I said after my match, ‘Thank you, Chad because you is the person [in] the turning point of my career.’ Now, after the match, I take my family with Rey Mysterio, drink in cheers with something in my room, I take dinner with my family, talking about it after the match. I asked my daughter, ‘How you feel?’ My daughter said, ‘I don’t know, sad and happy.’ I understand why, because it’s 20 years, work every day for this dream. This is my feeling now.”
Penta will compete in the men’s Royal Rumble match tomorrow night.
TJP says he has some storyline ideas if he were ever to return to WWE.
TJP, who was released from WWE in 2019, recently appeared on the “Straight Talk Wrestling” to discuss a variety of topics including what his Aswang character could do in WWE. He said,
“They have a few monsters on the roster, they got some red mist on the roster, they got some spooky people on the roster. Who knows? Maybe they need one more. If it were up to me, everybody would be a scary, spooky monster. But that’s just me [laughs]. But yeah, I would love to do it. There’s a lot of things I would love to do, even in regards to the crossover of artistic connection. I would love for The Aswang to wrestle The Demon. I would love for The Aswang to wrestle Shinsuke [Nakamura] as this Ronin samurai. I would love for The Aswang to play a part in the Wyatt Sicks or whatever. There’s a lot of cool things that I think would be fun to do. But we’ll see. We’ll see how it goes. But yes, I would love to do it”
Jackie Redmond recently asked CM Punk who he wanted to see in the women’s Royal Rumble, which Punk responded to by saying,

“There are no clues. There are no clues. She’s at home watching Larry.”
