Disappointing WWE news on Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar’s ongoing absence continues to frustrate many fans. With Royal Rumble precisely a day away, a backstage update on The Beast’s return status has surfaced online.
The former Universal Champion continues to be the talk of the wrestling community for a year and a half after his last WWE match at SummerSlam 2023, where he faced Cody Rhodes.
Shortly after, his name was seemingly alluded to in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon, and he was removed from all creative plans. Although Lesnar has been mentioned on television occasionally, the jury is still out on his status.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently learned Brock Lesnar’s status remains unchanged, as there is still “no movement” concerning his return backstage. The former Universal Champion’s future lies in the legal department’s hands, giving him clearance.

Will Brock Lesnar ever come back to WWE?
The chances of seeing The Beast Incarnate step back inside the squared circle are slim to none. However, Bully Ray recently pitched an interesting WrestleMania idea involving Lesnar.
While speaking on The Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray said Brock Lesnar has a strong chance of winning the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match, potentially setting up a WrestleMania 41 match against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
I’m just going to back Gunther out for a second. What do you do with Gunther in that scenario? The only match I would want to see Gunther involved with if he was pulled out of the world championship picture is Brock [Lesnar],” Bully Ray said. “[Do they pull the trigger and maybe Brock [Lesnar] is a surprise entrant in this year’s Royal Rumble? Brock [Lesnar] comes in, wins the Royal Rumble, and faces Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania?] Great chance,” he said.
Fans have been clamoring to see Lesnar and Gunther face each other for a long time. As exciting as this sounds on paper, it’s unlikely that this dream match will happen anytime soon.

Unfortunately, it seems like there is some disappointing news for WWE fans regarding Brock Lesnar. The former WWE Champion has reportedly decided to take an extended break from wrestling, leaving many fans disappointed and wondering when they will see him back in action.Lesnar has been a dominant force in the WWE for years, known for his impressive strength and skill in the ring. His absence will undoubtedly be felt by fans who have come to expect his larger-than-life presence at WWE events.
While Lesnar’s decision to take a break is understandable, it is still disappointing for fans who were looking forward to seeing him compete again. Hopefully, this break will rejuvenate Lesnar and he will return to the WWE stronger than ever.
In the meantime, fans will have to wait patiently for Lesnar’s return and hope that he will make a triumphant comeback to the wrestling world.

STRANGER THINGS. (L to R) Jamie Campbell Bower as Peter Ballard and Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in … [+]
At this point it seems pretty obvious that Stranger Things will return in the latter half of 2025, which would make it over three years since season 4 aired. That’s old news at this point, and while the wait is interminable, Netflix may be doing something else that most fans hate about new releases of seasons of popular shows, splitting it up.
According to reporting from What’s On Netflix, their sources have indicated that season 5 of Stranger Things will be split up into two parts. Season 4 of course had a seven and two episode split, one of the first Netflix shows that started chopping up its seasons, but while that was supposedly due to VFX work needing more time, now Netflix has been doing it for what appears to be the sole reason of keeping people subscribed for two months instead of one.
The report says that Stranger Things may end up being split between an October and November release, one month apart, but we don’t know if that’s 4 and 4 or maybe 6 and 2 like last season. There are other debates about its exact release date, but most of those center on November. Netflix has declined to comment about any of this.
Stranger Things
I’m not sure I 100% buy that this is happening. It seems likely to happen, but we have also seen some shows either avoid being split or returning to a binge model after splitting previously. One example would be The Lincoln Lawyer going from a split model back to all episodes airing day one in its last season. The return of huge Netflix shows like The Night Agent and Squid Game have not been split into halves. I do believe Netflix may be scaling back on this practice overall, as I wonder if the drop-off in viewership between halves may not be offsetting this idea that people will subscribe for an extra month. And Netflix really wants people to finish its shows as a very important metric for them.
Stranger Things and also Wednesday season 2 will be a big test of this. In that case, I would venture that Wednesday might not be split, but Stranger Things? They may do what the last season did in the form of airing “normal” episodes first, then delaying what is no doubt going to be a blockbuster movie-level finale for the entire series, making it sort of its own standalone event. So even if Netflix is moving back to a binge-only model, Stranger Things season 5 may be an exception. I do think the service overall, however, is trending back toward the way things used to be. I hope this doesn’t happen with Stranger Things, and it may not, but it does seem likely.

Hey Stranger Things fans,I hate to be the bearer of disappointing news, but it looks like we may have to wait a little longer for the highly anticipated Season 5 of our favorite show.
Recent reports suggest that the release date for Stranger Things Season 5 has been pushed back due to various production delays and scheduling conflicts. As much as we were hoping to dive back into the Upside Down world sooner rather than later, it seems like we’ll have to exercise some patience.
While it’s definitely disappointing to hear about the delay, let’s try to focus on the positive side – the creators and cast of Stranger Things are working hard to deliver the best possible season for us, and good things come to those who wait, right?
In the meantime, we can rewatch the previous seasons, speculate about what might happen next, and maybe even catch up on some other shows to fill the void. Let’s stay positive and keep the excitement alive for when Stranger Things Season 5 finally graces our screens.
Hang in there, fellow fans. The wait will be worth it.
Stay strange!

#Disappointing #News #Stranger #Season #Release #DateRoyals Former All-Star Reunites With Pirates After Disappointing 2024 In KC
The Kansas City Royals were hoping that a former All-Star could recapture some magic in 2024, and it unfortunately didn’t pan out.
Adam Frazier, a utility man whose primary position has typically been second base, signed a one-year deal with the Royals last winter that included an $8.5 million mutual option for 2025. Frazier was so bad, though, that the Royals exercised a $2.5 million buyout to get him off the roster.
With a .202/.282/.294 slash line in 104 games this season, Frazier was one of the worst hitters not only on the Royals, but in Major League Baseball. Entering his age-33 season, the nine-year veteran is now hoping to cling on long enough to earn his full pension at 10 years of service time.
Fortunately, one of Frazier’s former teams is hoping he can rekindle that old magic in the same uniform he once starred in.
On Tuesday, Frazier reportedly agreed to a one-year, major league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates, the team he made an All-Star appearance for in 2021. The deal virtually guarantees him a spot on the Pirates’ Opening Day roster.
Jon Heyman of the New York Post was the first to report the news via X.
Frazier spent the first five-and-a-half seasons of his career in Pittsburgh, racking up 10.5 bWAR in 608 games. 2021 was by far his best year, especially in the first half, before he was traded to the San Diego Padres. He slashed .324/.388/.448 in 98 games with the Pirates that year.
Since the start of 2022, though, Frazier has played 401 games with a .632 OPS. At his best, he’s a serviceable bench/utility player, like he was for the 2023 Baltimore Orioles, but at his worst, he’s borderline unplayable.
The Royals, for their part, simply have to hope they have more success with this year’s crop of utility signings (looking at you, Cavan Biggio) than Frazier had in Kansas City.
More MLB: $2.5 Million Ex-Giants Veteran Named ‘Cost-Effective Target’ For Royals
In a surprising turn of events, former All-Star outfielder Andrew McCutchen has reunited with the Pittsburgh Pirates after a disappointing 2024 season with the Kansas City Royals.McCutchen, who was once the face of the Pirates franchise and won the National League MVP award in 2013, was traded to the San Francisco Giants in 2018 before signing with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2019. He then had stints with the New York Yankees and the Royals before returning to Pittsburgh.
The 36-year-old veteran is excited to be back with the team where he began his career and is looking forward to helping the Pirates return to their winning ways. Despite his struggles in Kansas City last season, McCutchen is determined to prove that he still has plenty left in the tank and can be a valuable asset to his former team.
Pirates fans are thrilled to see McCutchen back in black and gold, and are hopeful that his return will bring some much-needed excitement and success to the struggling franchise. Only time will tell if this reunion will be a successful one, but one thing is for sure – McCutchen’s love for the city of Pittsburgh and its fans is undeniable.

A Disappointing Update About ‘One Piece’ Season 2 On Netflix
One Piece
Netflix shows are known for their very long gaps between seasons, though I suppose that’s not exclusive just to that service in this day and age of streaming. But now we have news that yet another Netflix hit series is probably going to have at least two years between seasons, if not more.
That would be One Piece season 2, and thanks to some Netflix-leaked information, we have confirmation that the show is coming in 2025, but that’s all we have, and it would seem to reinforce the idea that it’s coming later in the year, if not right at the end.
Garp actor Vincent Regan previously said it was targeting a Christmas 2025 release, but other sources ended up saying 2026 was more likely. Now, Netflix’s own TUDUM site, when talking about a separate LEGO collaboration, said that new episodes would arrive later in 2025, the article now being taken down but archived here. Given that this is an official Netflix site, yes, we should put a lot of stock in that.
One Piece season 1 debuted on Netflix on August 31, 2023. It does not seem likely at this point, given all this information, that it will debut before that in 2025, making it a full two year wait between seasons. Sometimes Netflix series get away with a year and a half gap, but if that Christmas 2025 date comes to pass, that would be 2.3 years, thereabouts. I also think it’s possible that with Netflix taking down that 2025 date, they are not actually willing to commit to that yet, and it may actually be 2026 after all. Either way, that’s not great news for those hoping for a sooner return.
One Piece
We have gotten a ton of non-season 2 date-related news about the cast coming for the next season. What we know so far is:
- Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9
- Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5
- Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine
- David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3
- Clive Russell as Crocus
- Brendan Murray as Brogy
- Werner Coetser as Dorry
- Callum Kerr as Smoker
- Julia Rehwald as Tashigi
- Rob Colletti as Wapol
- Ty Keogh as Dalton
- Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha
- Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiruluk
- Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra
- Charithra Chandran as Nefertari Vivi (Miss Wednesday)
- Joe Manganiello as Sir Crocodile (Mr. 0)
- Lera Abova as Nico Robin (Miss All Sunday)
- Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek
- Mark Penwill as Chess
- Anton David Jeftha as Kuromarimo
- Rigo Sanchez as Monkey D. Dragon
- Yonda Thomas as Igaram
- James Hiroyuki Liao as Ipponmatsu
This is…a genuinely huge list of additions. Granted, the anime and manga have tons of characters, but the show is trying to condense some of these storylines onscreen. Plus these join a bunch of returning characters, 12 in all if the current list is accurate. I am really, really curious to see how these are going to all fit into eight episodes. Eight!
We’ll see how they do it, but yes, this is going to be something to behold, that’s for sure. No wonder it’s taking this long.

Peyton List’s Supernatural Teen Drama With 90% Audience Score Gets Season 2 Trailer
The latest hit supernatural teen drama from Paramount+ gets a surprisingly ominous new trailer ahead of the premiere of its second season.
The Final Destination began with the film of the same name released in 2000. Based on an unproduced spec script written by Jeffrey Reddick for The X-Files, Final Destination was directed by James Wong from a script by himself, Reddick, and Glen Morgan. Final Destination starred horror icon Devon Sawa as high school student Alex Browning, who is set to make the trip to Paris for a senior trip only to be stopped at the last moment by a disastrous premonition of terrible things to come. When Alex and his friends escape certain doom by missing their flight, Death itself begins picking them off one by one, setting off a lethal game of cat and mouse that they have little to no hopes of surviving.
Final Destination Spawned a Franchise
Upon its release, Final Destination was met with largely middling to outright negative reviews from critics. Despite the subpar reception, Final Destination still managed to rake in well over $112 million at the global box office on a budget of only $23 million. While this financial success cemented the development of a sequel, the film’s premise, performances, and profoundly over-the-top kills cemented its place as a modern horror classic, which only further endeared it to fans. In the years since, a whopping four sequels have been released, each of which has been a hit with theater audiences, even if critics haven’t been nearly as kind to the franchise.

Summary
- The John Wick franchise has grossed over $1 billion, with Reeves as the lead in all four movies.
- Reeves hesitates about a fifth installment due to physical demands but doesn’t completely rule it out.
- The potential ending in Chapter 4 could serve as a perfect conclusion, leaving Chapter 5 unnecessary.
The John Wick franchise is one of the most popular in modern times, with the action blockbusters proving to be a massive hit with moviegoers. The franchise has grossed more than $1 billion combined, which has helped to make the films a box office sensation. Keanu Reeves has played a significant role in making that happen as the lead role in all four John Wick movies.
The films have created unique stories set in their own universe but are best known for the incredible action scenes that push the boundaries of what people expect from the genre. Audiences are guaranteed to see Reeves take on his iconic role at least once more in the upcoming spinoff, Ballerina. However, whether or not there will be a John Wick: Chapter 5 remains to be seen.

Every John Wick Movie Villain, Ranked
Who among these villains is the baddest of them all to dare go against the Baba Yaga himself, John Wick?
While a fifth installment in this franchise might be something lots of people want to see, Reeves provided some disappointing news about the possibility to CBS News. He said, “You can never say never,” Reeves said. My knees right now are saying, ‘I can’t do another John Wick. ‘So my heart does, but I don’t know if my knees can do it.”
Of course, taking on a role such as Wick will always be demanding on the body, and that’s why Reeves is hesitant about committing himself to making another one. The popular actor has previously given unclear answers when asked about the future of the franchise and whether or not a fifth movie would happen, and a lot of that decision would ultimately come down to him. Audiences would certainly be open to seeing one more adventure within this world due to the high consistency of the franchise thus far, but they would also only want that to happen if everyone involved was fully committed to the project.
A fifth John Wick movie would certainly prove to be popular with audiences, but the franchise doesn’t hang in the balance of one happening. John Wick: Chapter 4 did provide a potentially perfect ending to this character with his presumable death after competing in one final duel to get himself off the High Table. Wick seemingly dies in the final scene showcasing his gravestone, and while that doesn’t guarantee anything in the world of cinema, the mysterious, open-ended possibilities would be a perfect ending to this particular franchise and this character.
Ultimately, audiences wouldn’t want to see John Wick: Chapter 5 if it couldn’t live up to its predecessors, and a lot of that would be on Reeves’ shoulders. Even though his performance in the titular role is about much more than just the action that takes place in these movies, they do play such a significant part that Reeves not being physically capable of pulling it off would leave people feeling underwhelmed. The fact that he’s taking the character’s integrity so seriously should be seen as a positive, as it means that if John Wick: Chapter 5 gets made, then it will be done to the highest standard.
Fans of the John Wick franchise were left disappointed after hearing the latest update on John Wick 5 from Keanu Reeves himself. The beloved actor recently revealed that the highly anticipated sequel may not happen as soon as fans had hoped. In a recent interview, Reeves explained that due to scheduling conflicts and the uncertainty surrounding the current global pandemic, production on John Wick 5 has been delayed indefinitely. This news comes as a blow to fans who were eagerly awaiting the next installment in the action-packed series.
Reeves expressed his disappointment at the situation, stating that he is just as eager to return to the role of John Wick as fans are to see him back in action. However, he emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety and ensuring that the film can be made in a way that does justice to the character and the story.
While this update may be disappointing for fans, it’s clear that Reeves and the rest of the John Wick team are committed to delivering a film that lives up to the high expectations set by the previous installments. Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too much longer to see John Wick back on the big screen, taking down bad guys in his signature style.

Marvin Harrison Jr.’s rookie season for Cardinals not historically disappointing
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – DECEMBER 01: Marvin Harrison Jr. #18 of the Arizona Cardinals looks on prior to the start of the game against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on December 01, 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings defeated the Cardinals 23-22. (Photo by David Berding/Getty Images) Many would say that the rookie season for Arizona Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been a disappointment. After being drafted fourth overall, expectations were than he catch 75-plus passes for 1,100-plus yards.
That has not happened.
Through 16 games and entering the final week of the season, he has caught 57 passes for 822 yards and seven touchdowns.
That seems pretty pedestrian for someone who is supposed to be a star.
Historically speaking, it is good for rookie receivers for the Cardinals.
With one touchdown catch, his eighth, he will tie the franchise rookie record, held by two legends — Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald.
Harrison’s 822 receiving yards are the third-most by a Cardinals rookie, better than Fitzgerald’s 780. Fitzgerald has 58 receptions as a rookie.
In fact, with 62 receiving yards in the season finale, Harrison would pass Frank Sanders for the second-highest rookie receiving yards total in franchise history.
The record is held by Anquan Boldin, who had 101 rceeptions and 1,377 yards his rookie season in 2003.
With two catches, 64 yards and a touchdown in Week 18, Harrison’s rookie season will look like this:
-
Equalling Boldin and Fitzgerald in touchdown catches as rookies
-
More catches and receiving yards than Fitzgerald as a rookie
-
More receiving yards than any other Cardinals rookie not named Boldin
His Hall of Fame father totaled 64 receptions for 836 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie. So with six catches, 14 yards and a touchdown, he can match his father’s rookie season.
Considering he did that while tight end Trey McBride surpassed 100 catches and 1,000 yards, his rookie season probably shouldn’t be considered disappointing. It just didn’t match the incredibly high expectations that people had for him.

This article originally appeared on Cards Wire: Marvin Harrison Jr.’s rookie season for Cardinals not historically disappointing
Marvin Harrison Jr.’s rookie season for the Cardinals has been anything but historically disappointing. In fact, the young wide receiver has exceeded expectations and shown immense promise for the future of the team.Despite being a rookie, Harrison Jr. has quickly become a key player in the Cardinals’ offense. His speed, route-running ability, and hands have made him a reliable target for quarterback Kyler Murray. He has made several clutch catches in critical moments throughout the season and has shown a knack for making big plays.
Harrison Jr.’s statistics speak for themselves. He has racked up impressive numbers in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns, making him a standout performer in his rookie class. His impact on the field has not gone unnoticed, as he has earned praise from coaches, teammates, and fans alike.
Overall, Marvin Harrison Jr.’s rookie season for the Cardinals has been a success. He has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the team and has shown that he has the potential to become a star in the NFL. The future looks bright for Harrison Jr. and the Cardinals, and fans have every reason to be excited about what he will accomplish in the seasons to come.

Matt Campbell on if Iowa State’s season is disappointing
ORLANDO, Fla. — Matt Campbell isn’t thinking about what could have been.
Saturday, Iowa State will play Miami in the Pop-Tarts Bowl. Wednesday afternoon, Arizona State will play Texas in the Peach Bowl as part of the first 12-team College Football Playoff.
Arizona State wide receiver Xavier Guillory (1) catches a touchdown pass as Iowa State defensive back Jeremiah Cooper, rear, defends in the second half of the Big 12 Conference championship game in Arlington, Texas, Dec. 7.
If ISU beat ASU in the Big 12 Championship Game, it would be the Cyclones playing in the semifinals of the CFP. Instead, the Sun Devils ran the Cyclones over 49-15 in a game that might as well have been over early in the third quarter. Sure, that particular game was disappointing for Iowa State, but it’s far from how Campbell views the 2024 season.

To recap, ISU started 7-0 for the first time since 1938 and won 10 regular-season games for the first time. A walk-off victory at Iowa got the season’s momentum rolling and a win at home against Kansas State let fans finish the home season on the field. ISU advanced from a four-way tie to its second Big 12 Championship Game.
Fans celebrate on the field after a game between Iowa State and Kansas State Nov. 30 in Ames, Iowa.
Friday, a reporter asked Campbell about the line of thinking that falling short of the CFP renders a season a disappointment.
“I mean, think about what I just said, 133 years in our school, and we have never won 10 games,” Campbell said. “We’ve been in two Big 12 Championship games, in you know, the last four years. Nobody even thought that was possible at Iowa State. To say something like that is ridiculous to be quite honest with you.”
A little over two weeks ago, Campbell signed a contract extension through 2032. The biggest reason for that is his on-field success, but part of the reason he is ISU’s winningest football coach is because he takes seriously the other aspects of the job. To Campbell, great people leaving his program is never disappointing.
Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell, right, talks with Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman before their game on Nov. 30 in Ames, Iowa.
“We’ll have 20 seniors that are going to leave and they are going to go be great fathers, husbands,” Campbell said. “But the one thing they are going able to do is they are going to be great leaders of people because of their experience and what they have been accomplished in the season.”

A Disappointing End To One Of The Multiverse Saga’s Best Ideas
What If…? has been something of a mixed bag from the start, though that first season was mostly excellent. We could have lived without Party Thor, for example, but the debuts of Captain Carter, T’Challa Star-Lord, and Strange Supreme still rank among the best episodic television we’ve seen from Marvel Studios. Season 2 wasn’t quite as good, with some episodes stretching the premise a little too thin (“What If… Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?”) and others that were downright bad (“What If… Iron Man Crashed into the Grandmaster?”). Season 3, in comparison, is largely disappointing with few bright spots to make up for storytelling seemingly running on fumes.
No longer a show exploring how one small change could alter everything, What If…?‘s latest batch of episodes instead takes us to a series of weird and wacky realities where it feels like the mandate was to cram in as many Phase 4 and 5 characters as possible. There’s nothing wrong with that as it’s refreshing to see new faces like Sam Wilson/Captain America, Ironheart, and Kate Bishop take centre stage; critically, the show doesn’t find rich or compelling enough stories for them. We can’t help but wonder whether that’s down to What If…? being given access to the characters before their respective MCU debuts, meaning they had to be shoehorned into random stories rather than being fully reimagined.
“What If… the Hulk Fought the Mech Avengers?” is pulpy fun and a strong start to the season. The characters are interchangeable – while Moon Knight’s return is welcomed, it could have been anyone piloting his mech – but the friendship between Sam and Bruce Banner is interesting to explore. “What If… Agatha Went to Hollywood?” also impressed with a story that sees Agatha Harkness gain the powers of a Celestial even if the presence of only one Eternal seems a shame.
“What If… the Red Guardian Stopped the Winter Soldier?” is fine if somewhat forgettable and leans too heavily on comedy to be the team-up these two deserved. As for “What If… Howard the Duck Got Hitched?”, its heart is in the right place but revisiting characters from season 1’s weakest episode was certainly a choice. Byrdie returns as an adult a few episodes later, though isn’t written or handled anywhere near well enough there to have justified this extended origin story.
“What If… the Emergence Destroyed the Earth?” is season 3’s strongest effort and while we’d have preferred to see Spider-Man pitted against Mysterio again in place of Riri Williams, it’s a bold new take on the Master of Illusions despite not being the alternate ending to Eternals we’d hoped for (and no, Quentin Beck isn’t established as a Multiversal threat after Spider-Man: Far From Home‘s teases).
“What If… 1872?” is a more forgettable version of season 2’s “What If… the Avengers Assembled in 1602?” and the two-part finale, “What If… the Watcher Disappeared?” and “What If… What If?”, is largely disappointing. Captain Carter, Kahhori, Byrdie, and Storm assemble to battle three villainous Watchers but there’s very little substance to these episodes beyond overlong action scenes and a disappointing conclusion to Peggy Carter’s Multiversal arc.
The biggest let-down is the fact that even in its final year, the series does little to tie into the wider Multiverse Saga. If nothing else, it kinda, sorta feels like an extended origin story for The Watcher from the comics to appear in future movies and TV shows but that’s it. What If…? had the potential to be one of this Saga’s most important additions; instead, it’s added little and been treated like an afterthought.
The voice performances in season 3 are solid and the handful of recastings aren’t too noticeable or distracting. America Ferrera as Ranger Morales, Jason Isaacs as the Eminence, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, and Natasha Lyonne as Byrdie are all great new additions to What If…? canon even if none quite leave the same lasting impression as Kahhori. Anthony Mackie, Kathryn Hahn, Kumail Nanjiani, Kat Dennings, and Hailee Steinfeld are among the other standouts.
Visually, What If…? season 3 doesn’t differ from previous episodes but feels uninspired and at times dull, especially after watching the likes of X-Men ’97 and Creature Commandos. Even the most epic of action scenes come across as lifeless and never fully take advantage of what can be done in animation. Beyond that, the writing and direction aren’t good enough to justify the show’s existence as the silliness finally becomes too much. There’s nothing wrong with the odd daft comedy episode to lighten the mood and What If…? should have its share of tongue-in-cheek fun. There’s just such little balance in this season, it feels like the worst ideas were saved for last. Like the What If…? comics of old, the concept has outstayed its welcome and this journey into the unknown no longer feels worth it.
As a fan of the Multiverse Saga, I was eagerly anticipating the resolution of one of its most intriguing plotlines. However, the recent conclusion left me feeling disappointed and underwhelmed. The idea of exploring alternate realities and seeing familiar characters in different circumstances was a thrilling concept that had so much potential. The writers had set up an intricate web of parallel universes, each with its own set of challenges and conflicts.
But as the saga reached its climax, it felt like the resolution was rushed and unsatisfying. The final showdown between the different versions of our heroes lacked the emotional weight and depth that I had been hoping for. It seemed like the writers took the easy way out, opting for a predictable and lackluster ending.
I can’t help but feel let down by the missed opportunities and wasted potential of this once-promising storyline. It’s a shame to see such a captivating idea fizzle out in such a lackluster manner.
As a dedicated fan of the Multiverse Saga, I can only hope that future installments will learn from these missteps and deliver the epic conclusion that this storyline truly deserves. Until then, I’ll always wonder what could have been.
