‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro doesn’t regret leaving Hollywood for Utah at height of fame
It’s been nearly three years since “Dancing with the Stars” pro Lindsay Arnold announced her exit, and she hasn’t regretted it one bit.
In a new interview, the professional dancer who starred in the dance competition series for 10 seasons, opened up about her decision to leave the show at the height of finding mega fame and success.
“A lot of my priorities and where I wanted to spend my time … it just shifted,” she told People magazine. “My mindset shifted. Time goes 10 times faster when you have kids, and I just know that this time is so precious and something that you don’t get back.”

“I did want to have a sense of accomplishment within the show knowing that, ‘OK, if we do have kids and I don’t come back, do I feel like I fulfilled what I hope to do?’ I did feel like I was at that point. We honestly were probably past the point of being ready. We were like, ‘OK, we really want this now,’ and I’m glad we waited for that time because it felt so right for us.”
Arnold, who shares two daughters, Sage, 4, and June, almost 2, with husband Samuel Cusick, said the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles never appealed to her.

“To be honest, I actually never, ever loved or embraced Hollywood in a sense of where I’d want to live,” she said. “Loved everything about what it offered to me, what it did for my career, what I was able to do out there, but I was actually always the pro that, in between seasons, [who] would sneak back to Utah to be with my family. This has always been where I know I want to raise my family.”

“Growing up in Utah, the city life was never for me,” she added. “But like I said, I know that my life would not be where it is without that time, and so I am so grateful.”
These days, Arnold continues to gain traction on social media, from her workout tutorials to her lifestyle vlogs.

“When I decided to step away from ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I didn’t have this grand plan of, ‘OK, this is my career. This is where we’re going.’ I just knew I wanted to do things that were authentic to me, but that can be really scary because you just don’t know how that will be received,” she said of becoming an influencer.
“At the time, I had a social media following for people who only watched me and followed me because of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ That was scary, because I’m like, are they just going to hate me if I’m like, ‘Sorry, guys, I’m not doing it anymore. I’m going to be a mom’? Maybe people hate moms. But it’s been so cool because every step of the way, by just truly being myself, sharing what I’m doing, it’s naturally evolved my career and my engagement, my community in the most perfect way.”

While Arnold said she still misses the show, she doesn’t regret her decision to leave.
“There are so many things I miss about the show,” she said. “I miss all my friends on the show. The community, the family, it is real. The second my sister hops onto the show, they’re treating her like a little sister because it’s family.”
“What I don’t miss is it is a full-on time commitment. If you want to be good at your job, if you want to do well, it’s a 24/7 job,” she continued. “And when you’re a mom, that’s a 24/7 job, so that battle is really difficult.”
“It’s felt like a very natural progression for me, which I’m grateful for because, of course, there was always those moments when I did choose to step away that first season of like, ‘Am I going to regret this?’” she said. “I’m really grateful to say that I haven’t. I haven’t regretted my decisions one step of the way,” she added.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Pro Dancer Doesn’t Regret Leaving Hollywood for Utah at Height of FameMany celebrities dream of making it big in Hollywood, but for one ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro dancer, leaving Tinseltown behind was the best decision of their life. After reaching the height of fame on the popular dance competition show, this dancer made the bold choice to move to Utah and start a new chapter in their life.
In a recent interview, the pro dancer opened up about their decision to leave behind the glitz and glamour of Hollywood for a more peaceful and fulfilling life in Utah. Despite the success and recognition they had achieved in the entertainment industry, they realized that true happiness didn’t lie in the spotlight or the red carpet.
Instead, they found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life in Utah – the beautiful natural surroundings, the close-knit community, and the slower pace of living. They have embraced a more balanced lifestyle, focusing on their personal well-being and relationships rather than constantly chasing fame and fortune.
While some may have questioned their decision to walk away from Hollywood at the height of their career, the dancer has no regrets. They have found a sense of peace and contentment in Utah that they never experienced in the fast-paced world of showbiz.
Their story serves as a powerful reminder that true happiness cannot be found in external validation or material success. Sometimes, the most fulfilling path is the one that leads us away from the spotlight and towards a more authentic and meaningful life.

Sherrone Moore doesn’t want to lose Michigan DC Wink Martindale to NFL
The Michigan Wolverines have hit home runs with their defensive coordinator hires in recent years in Mike Macdonald, Jesse Minter and now Wink Martindale. Macdonald left to become defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens and is now the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, Minter left to become the Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator and now there’s a chance Martindale leaves to become an NFL defensive coordinator once again.
Martindale interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts this week and the Cincinnati Bengals are reportedly interested in Martindale as well. With that amount of intrigue, it feels like a coin toss as to whether Martindale sticks at Michigan for a second year or heads back to the pros.
On Friday afternoon, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was asked about Martindale and how he’s receiving NFL interest. Moore clearly doesn’t want Martindale to depart, but also realizes that it’s a possibility.
“He’s a great coach. Obviously, when your team has success at some points, especially on defense and the way they played, those opportunities are going to come. I always welcome our guys with opportunities, but don’t want to lose him,” Moore said Friday, per MLive’s Ryan Zuke. “Don’t want him to go anywhere. Want him to be here in Michigan, and I think he does, too. But he has opportunities that he has to look at.”
If Martindale does leave, Moore and Michigan will be prepared. Michigan has a list of candidates ready.
“I think you have to,” Moore said. “You have to have a list of people that you would look at if that were to take place, and you got to have that at all positions. It’s not just there, it’s any position. But we’ll take those steps if we need to.”
There’s no timetable in terms of whether Martindale stays or leaves, but we’ll be following this one closely every step of the way.
Sherrone Moore, the offensive line coach for the University of Michigan football team, has made it clear that he does not want to lose defensive coordinator Wink Martindale to the NFL. Martindale, who has been with the Wolverines for just one season, has been rumored to be a candidate for several NFL coaching positions. In a recent interview, Moore expressed his admiration for Martindale’s coaching abilities and the impact he has had on the Michigan defense. “Wink is a phenomenal coach and a great leader for our defense,” Moore said. “Losing him would be a huge blow to our team, and I really hope he chooses to stay with us.”
Martindale has not yet made a decision about his future, but Moore and the rest of the Michigan coaching staff are hopeful that he will remain with the Wolverines for at least another season. “We have a special group of players and coaches here at Michigan, and I know Wink is a big part of that,” Moore said. “I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he decides to stay and continue to build something special with us.”

Jennifer Tilly may own a few luxury items and properties, but that doesn’t mean she considers herself to be wealthy.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told E! News that she doesn’t think of herself as rich, despite receiving a piece of The Simpsons in her divorce settlement from series co-creator Sam Simon in 1991. Still, she acknowledged that many people who have seen her lavish lifestyle on display on the series might believe otherwise.
“I don’t think of myself as rich, but I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse, apparently, that cost $33,000,” Tilly, 66, told the outlet. “But actually, it didn’t. It cost $22,000 — which, I’m just setting that straight right now.”

In fact, the Chucky actress said she’s been trying to downplay the price points of some of her more expensive belongings on the show. “I actually did tell them I was wearing a bunch of Bvlgari bracelets and they’re like, ‘Ooh, Jennifer, how much are those? We’d like to put the price at the bottom,’” she recalled. “And I said no.”
She also noted that others might not be aware that she owns a piece of the longest-running animated show. “It’s not a large piece,” Tilly clarified. “My boyfriend and I live very simply in a very small, cluttered house. And yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there. So I guess we’re kind of delusional.”

In the Dec. 3 episode of RHOBH, Tilly explained that she was married to Simon, who died from colon cancer in 2015, for seven years. “When we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement,” she explained. “Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years!”
She added with a laugh, “Honestly, every day, I’m like, ‘Thank you Sam!’”
Outside of her Simpsons settlement, Tilly has paid her own way as an Oscar-nominated actress whose credits include Bound, Monsters, Inc., and Bullets Over Broadway. However, she is perhaps best known for her role as murderous doll Tiffany Valentine in the Child’s Play franchise.
And, if that wasn’t enough, Tilly is also a professional poker player and has won over $1 million in tournaments as of 2019.
Listen to Tilly discuss her finances in the clip above.
Jennifer Tilly, the iconic actress known for her roles in films like “Bride of Chucky” and “Bound,” recently opened up about her financial status in a surprising revelation. Despite receiving a hefty divorce settlement from her ex-husband, “The Simpsons” co-creator Sam Simon, Tilly insists that she doesn’t consider herself to be rich.In a candid interview, Tilly explained that she has always been frugal with her money and prefers to live a modest lifestyle. She revealed that she drives a used car and shops at thrift stores, choosing to save her money rather than spend it on lavish expenses.
Tilly’s down-to-earth attitude towards wealth has garnered praise from fans and critics alike, with many commending her for staying true to herself despite her financial success. It serves as a reminder that money doesn’t always equate to happiness, and that true wealth can be found in living a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Neymar Reveals Fight with Mbappé, Friendship That Has Changed: ‘He Doesn’t…’
Mbappé’s departure from PSG was very traumatic, with the Parisians trying to prevent it by any means. However, it was something he had decided on for a long time as he seemed uncomfortable. That was even though Neymar was no longer on the team, with whom he had several clashes while sharing the changing room.
The Brazilian himself has revealed that “I have my issues with him, we had a little fight.” Although he emphasizes that he’s not bothersome in the changing room. And that “he was essential when he arrived.” He also revealed that “I talked to him, he came to my house, we had dinner together.”
|
However, he marked Leo Messi’s transfer as what changed everything within the team. Neymar highlighted that Mbappé “didn’t want to share me with anyone” due to his friendship with the Argentine. In fact, he also disclosed that “there were some fights, a change in behavior.”
However, as we say, it seems that the Argentine’s transfer was a bad decision by PSG. “We had some good years of collaboration, but after Messi’s arrival, he got a little jealous” Neymar detailed. The former Barça player highlights that problem between them as the worst.
Mbappé has had a different arrival at Real Madrid
Neymar has insisted on selling a “battle of egos” between Mbappé and Messi as what ruined everything. In fact, he seems to want to point to the Frenchman in his comments about what happened. “There were big egos, and it can’t work like that; if no one runs and no one helps, it’s impossible to win anything,” he details.
|
However, the truth is that Kylian’s arrival at Real Madrid is far removed from those problems he revealed. Vinícius, Bellingham, and Brahim have shown they are delighted with the Frenchman. He has integrated into the locker room, being just another member of the team.
To the point that the club has asked him to be a bit more selfish and show his edge. It’s good that he’s generous, but sometimes the plays require him to finish them. This shows that the Madrid Mbappé is not like what Neymar describes.
Neymar, the Brazilian superstar, recently opened up about his relationship with his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappé in a candid interview. The two players have been known for their incredible chemistry on the field, but Neymar revealed that their friendship has not always been smooth sailing. In the interview, Neymar admitted that there was a period of time when he and Mbappé had a disagreement that escalated into a physical altercation. “We had a fight, yes. It happens, we are both very competitive and passionate about the game. But at the end of the day, we are professionals and we know how to move past our differences,” Neymar said.
Despite the altercation, Neymar emphasized that his friendship with Mbappé has only grown stronger over time. “He doesn’t hold grudges, and neither do I. We have a mutual respect for each other and our friendship has changed for the better because of it,” Neymar added.
Fans of PSG will be relieved to hear that the dynamic duo of Neymar and Mbappé have put their differences behind them and are focused on achieving success together on the pitch. Their bond both on and off the field will undoubtedly continue to be a key factor in PSG’s quest for glory in the upcoming season.

What new ‘evidence’ tells us (or doesn’t) about DB Cooper
It’s one of the most notorious, long-enduring real-life mysteries out there: the tale of skyjacker DB Cooper. Recently, people claiming to be Cooper’s family said they have new evidence related to the case.
However, the Cooper case was closed in 2016 after a decades-long investigation, and other researchers aren’t convinced that the new evidence is evidence at all. This week on “Something Offbeat” host Mike Rogers was joined by researcher Eric Ulis to dig into the case.
“I’ve done an enormous amount of research and I really started with reading the FBI files,” he said. “We’ve got some 40,000 pages of FBI files that have been released through the Freedom of Information Act, which has been terrific because it’s given me the opportunity to follow the case that the FBI executed from the very beginning, to see what they did.”
Ulis also weighed in on who he thinks the famous mystery man might be. Listen to the full episode to find out who it is.

The mysterious case of DB Cooper, the unidentified man who hijacked a plane in 1971 and parachuted into the wilderness with $200,000 in ransom money, has captured the public’s imagination for decades. Recently, new evidence has come to light that sheds some light on the case, but also raises more questions than answers. One piece of evidence that has sparked interest is a tie clip found at the scene where Cooper is believed to have landed. The tie clip matches the description of one that Cooper was known to wear, leading some to believe that it belonged to him. However, without DNA evidence linking the tie clip to Cooper, it remains inconclusive.
Another intriguing piece of evidence is a series of letters that were sent to newspapers in the years following the hijacking, purportedly from Cooper himself. The letters contain details about the hijacking that were not publicly known, leading some to believe that they were indeed written by Cooper. However, handwriting analysis has been inconclusive, further muddying the waters.
Overall, the new evidence in the DB Cooper case has provided some tantalizing clues, but ultimately leaves us with more questions than answers. The mystery of DB Cooper continues to fascinate and intrigue, with the truth remaining elusive.

The mysterious case of DB Cooper, the unidentified man who hijacked a plane in 1971 and parachuted with a ransom of $200,000, has long fascinated both law enforcement and amateur sleuths alike. Over the years, various theories and suspects have emerged, but the true identity of Cooper remains unknown.Recently, new “evidence” has come to light that some believe could finally solve the case. A team of investigators claim to have uncovered a tie belonging to Cooper that was found near the location where he landed after parachuting from the plane. They also say that DNA testing on the tie has matched it to a suspect, adding fuel to the fire of speculation.
However, skeptics argue that this new evidence is flimsy at best and does not definitively prove that the suspect in question was actually DB Cooper. They point out that the tie could have belonged to anyone and that DNA testing can sometimes be inconclusive.
So what does this new “evidence” really tell us about DB Cooper? The truth is, it may not tell us much at all. While it is certainly intriguing, we must remember that the case of DB Cooper is one filled with misinformation, dead ends, and red herrings. Until concrete evidence is found that definitively proves the identity of Cooper, the mystery will continue to captivate us all.

Giron on Sinner: ‘He pretty much doesn’t have any holes’
American reflects on his late-career surge
January 17, 2025
Peter Staples/ATP Tour
Marcos Giron is into the third round of the Australian Open for the first time.
By Andrew EichenholzThe Australian Open is widely known as the Happy Slam. That has not historically been the case for Marcos Giron.
The jovial American, who lost in the first round of his first five appearances at the season’s first major, faced Alexander Zverev, Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev in three straight editions of the event.
When the draw for the tournament was made this year, Giron was on court at the Adelaide International facing eventual champion Felix Auger-Aliassime. After losing that match, Giron went to the cool-down area at the ATP 250 and after finishing up, he asked coach Nicolas Meister who his first-round opponent would be.
This time, Giron drew Yannick Hanfmann rather than a player who has been in the Top 2 of the PIF ATP Rankings like was the case on three previous occasions in Melbourne. The 31-year-old has taken full advantage, advancing to the third round at a major for just the third time.
“It’s tough. You have to play whoever you play. But it definitely helps when you don’t have to play a top-five guy in the world. It was nice,” Giron told ATPTour.com. “Having played top-five guys several times here in Australia, I was relieved to not have to deal with that.”
Giron will need to take down defending champion and top seed Jannik Sinner to make the fourth round at a Slam for the first time. But the World No. 46 is alright with that.
“Playing Rafa on centre court here was pretty special. I’ve had some rough draws here in the past,” Giron told ATPTour.com. “It’s nice to have earned myself a chance to play the number one player in the world on centre court. I’m excited for that.”
The pair’s lone Lexus ATP Head2Head meeting came 15 months ago at the Rolex Shanghai Masters, where Sinner was victorious in straight sets.
“He hits his serves big. His forehand is big. His backhand is big. He moves well. He’s got good hands. He competes every single point from start to finish, and he returns great,” Giron said. “He pretty much almost doesn’t have any holes, he’s got weapons and he’s confident. It’s a hell of a challenge. There were very few guys last year that were able to beat him. It is pretty amazing what he’s been doing and how, and the level he’s sustained.”
How do you prepare for such a big challenge? Giron, like the rest of the world, has seen plenty of Sinner
“You have to scout the opponent. I played him once before… It was different conditions,” Giron said. “I think it’s a mix of trying to expose the couple of things that he maybe doesn’t do well, and then also play my game and play to the best level.
“I’m going to have to be aggressive. I’m going to have to take chances. But I’m going to have to play within myself, and have to do it for a very long time in order to have a chance.”
Giron’s mother, sister and niece were supposed to travel to Australia, but his niece, who is just more than one-year-old, got sick, cancelling the trip. However, Giron is thankful that his family in California is safe given the wildfires that have caused severe damage to families and properties.
“It’s really sad to see that this fire has done so much damage to L.A. Having friends that live there, having been to homes that are there, and for it to all be gone is crazy. It’s sad to see,” Giron said. “It’s motivating for me to play here, being able to do this while so many people are suffering. It sucks to see. Hopefully they’ll be able to take care of it quickly.”
Less than a year ago, Giron won his first ATP Tour title in Newport. He reached a career-high PIF ATP Ranking of No. 37 in August and is continuing to break new ground here in Melbourne.
“It’s really cool. As an athlete, you always wonder, ‘How can I keep pushing myself? Can I keep improving?’” Giron said. “If you don’t, you’re not going to keep succeeding. There are 100 guys that are the Top 100 in the world. If you don’t keep improving and keep building, somebody’s going to take your spot.
“I feel like I’ve done a good job of motivating myself, keeping pushing. I still physically feel good. I’ve got good energy. I move well still. Fortunately, no injuries really. I just try and keep playing.”
In a recent interview, American tennis player Marcos Giron had high praise for rising star Jannik Sinner, stating that the young Italian “pretty much doesn’t have any holes” in his game.Giron, who recently faced off against Sinner in a tough match, was impressed by the 19-year-old’s skill and composure on the court. He noted that Sinner’s all-around game, from his powerful serves to his precise groundstrokes, makes him a formidable opponent for any player.
Sinner has been making waves in the tennis world with his rapid rise up the rankings and impressive performances against top players. Giron’s comments only add to the growing hype surrounding the young talent.
As Sinner continues to make a name for himself on the ATP Tour, it’s clear that his opponents are taking notice of his talents. With players like Giron singing his praises, it’s only a matter of time before Sinner becomes a major force in the tennis world.

RHOBH’s Jennifer Tilly Doesn’t Think She’s Rich Despite Simpsons Fortune
Phylicia J. L. Munn/Bravo Jennifer Tilly is not hurting for money thanks to The Simpsons — but that doesn’t mean she identifies as wealthy.
“I don’t think of myself as rich,” Tilly, 66, told E! News on Tuesday, January 14. “But I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse apparently that cost $33,000.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who joined the show for season 14, noted that she thought “everybody knew that I had a piece of The Simpsons,” which is where a lot of her money comes from.
“It’s not a large piece, but even a little piece is something to write home about,” she added.
During the December 3, 2024, episode of RHOBH, Tilly noted that she was married to The Simpsons creator, Sam Simon, for seven years. The pair, who were together 10 years total, got divorced in 1991 and she “got a piece” of the show in her settlement.
Sam Simon and Jennifer Tilly David Livingston/Getty Images“Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years,” Tilly said on the show. “So every day, honestly, every day I’m like, ‘Thank you, Sam!’” (Simon died in 2015 at the age of 59.)
During the same episode, costar Erika Jayne pointed out that Tilly owned an extremely rare $33,000 Louis Vuitton handbag, which she said wasn’t exactly accurate.
“Actually, it didn’t. It cost $33,000, which I’m just setting that straight right now,” Tilly told E! “They must have had some intern look it up. It’s very rare, maybe on the secondary market they jacked up the price, but I called my purse contact, and I said, ‘How much did I pay for that purse?’ She said, ‘$22,000.’”
While the handbag price was slightly off, Tilly revealed that she does own four homes: three in California and one in Las Vegas.
Even with all her properties, Tilly was adamant that she lives humbly with her boyfriend in a “very small, cluttered house.”
“Yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there,” she said. “I guess we’re kind of delusional. I don’t have a giant mansion or a chauffeur that calls me Miss Tilly and makes out with me like Sutton [Stracke]‘s chauffeur. I just live my life the way that I used to live.”
Tilly added that she thinks it’s “kind of gauche to flaunt your wealth” especially since money can’t buy you happiness.
Leon Bennett/Getty Images “This is why people love Housewives,” she concluded. “They’re so rich and they can afford all the plastic surgeon that the heart could desire and designer clothes and jewels, but they’re still not happy. That is the key to Housewives. Like, ‘Wow, if I had all that wealth, I would be happy.’ But these people, they’re miserable. That’s why people like to watch Housewives.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
In a recent interview, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Jennifer Tilly revealed that she doesn’t consider herself to be rich, despite being a part of the iconic Simpsons fortune.Tilly, who is best known for her role as Bonnie Swanson on the hit animated show The Simpsons, opened up about her financial situation in a candid conversation with a popular entertainment magazine. Despite her successful acting career and lucrative voiceover work, Tilly admitted that she still struggles to see herself as wealthy.
“I know I have been fortunate in my career, but I don’t think of myself as rich,” Tilly said. “I’ve always been very frugal and mindful of my spending. I prefer to live a simple and modest lifestyle, even though I could easily afford to live a more lavish one.”
Tilly’s humble attitude towards her wealth has earned her praise from fans and fellow celebrities alike. Many have commended her for remaining grounded and down-to-earth, despite her success in the entertainment industry.
As Tilly continues to navigate the world of reality TV on RHOBH, it’s clear that her humility and authenticity are what truly set her apart from the rest. Whether she’s discussing her finances or sharing personal stories, Tilly’s genuine nature shines through, making her a beloved and relatable figure in Hollywood.

“RHOBH’s Jennifer Tilly doesn’t think she’s rich despite ‘Simpsons’ divorce settlement: ‘I guess I’m delusional’Jennifer Tilly, the former wife of “The Simpsons” co-creator Sam Simon, recently opened up about her finances in a candid interview. Despite receiving a hefty divorce settlement from her ex-husband, Tilly admitted that she doesn’t consider herself to be wealthy.
In the interview, Tilly expressed her disbelief at the idea that she is considered rich. She said, “I guess I’m delusional because I don’t really think of myself as being rich. I mean, I have a nice house and I can afford to live comfortably, but I don’t have yachts and private jets like some of the other people in Hollywood.”
Tilly’s humility is refreshing in a world where wealth and status are often flaunted. Despite her divorce settlement and successful acting career, she remains grounded and down-to-earth.
Fans of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” may be surprised to learn that Tilly doesn’t see herself as a wealthy socialite. Her honesty and self-awareness make her a relatable figure, even among the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
It’s clear that Jennifer Tilly’s wealth doesn’t define her. She may not consider herself rich, but her talent, wit, and authenticity are worth more than any amount of money.”
