We're doing a military move that got tricky because our destination house fell through after our source house got packed up and every we own including our TVs is in storage.In comes this projector. We wanted a cheap "TV". Bro, this was sub $200 black Friday. Woza blown out of the water. We even have a textured wall and barely notice it. When we get to our new place we're doing the full setup right with a screen and mounting it but right now we got this taking up a whole wall and it looks great. Like an 85 to 120 in tv based on if in our living room or bed room.We bought some cheap $16 computer speakers and this has blown all our expectations out of the water. The built in speakers aren't bad either.If you're looking for an intro but quality projector unit this is it.I don't know anything about projectors etc. My options were this or pick up a 32 in tv from Walmart for this price range so I gave this a shot. I am incredibly happy with this.

    After trying a few different cheap options from Amazon and being let down, I’m happy to say I finally found a good one!

    The video quality is fantastic—everything looks sharp and smooth. It’s also super responsive, with no lag when switching between apps, which was a problem with the others I tried. It supports all the apps I use regularly, like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Max, without any issues.

    The remote is a nice bonus—it’s got plenty of useful buttons and works no matter how you’re pointing it, so you don’t have to aim it perfectly every time.

    Overall, this device has been a great find. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for something reliable and easy to use.

    Like most everyone else who has posted here, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this projector! I was just expecting a no frills projector, but it's actually a smart device and includes some great apps, the most important one for me being Plex! It also has a very limited app store, but I didn't buy the projector for apps, so I want to just focus on the projector and its quality.
    I don't have a screen for this yet (you can get a free screen by registering the device for the warranty), but projected it to my living room ceiling, and the picture quality is incredible. The colors are vivid and the auto-focus worked great. If you move the device, it will detect the motion and quickly re-focus.
    I've only had it for a couple of days and don't know how long the lamp will last, but for the price, this is an amazing project.
    One last point – I know they throw around the word "4K", but please keep in mind the resolution is 1080P but it SUPPORTS 4K video, which will be downscaled to 1080P. They are clear about this in the manual.

After I got to know Bobby there were some things I wished he had. Better remote, more viewing options, more settings, better interface and so forth. This projector, let's call it Barry. I've just meet Barry and already he has checked alllllll my boxes. Image quality excellent & I'm not one to always notice that but the detail he displays is awesome. Barry has clarity. Bobby was getting burnt out after only a few months. I do use him like a TV for LONG periods of time. Bobby had a speck on his lens I couldn't clean. He was getting more and more burnt out. White was no longer white, the brightness was gone from his lens. Barry, has such a beautiful light, really crisp & completely visible with window open or light on inside. The perfect level. His remote works with my firestick and my sound bar, one remote now, not 3. Barry's remote has convenient buttons to access menu, settings, and source. He is pretty quiet, sounds like a/c running in other room somewhat. Low steady easy to tune out.

    All that praise for Barry, he does have a flaw. His auto focus & keystone features don't really work, at least for me. If you have is zoomed in for a smaller projection area and if he is jostled in the slightest the projection goes back to full size. Then you have to go in & zoom it down & whatever else you have tailored to your liking.

    I am willing to accept Barry's flaw if he stays bright & crip for a good long while. I will do my part to help keep him from burnout.

    I turned on my projector and the autofocus was not auto-focusing. I can not even see what's on the screen. They were supposed to send me a "new" one but I purchased it and got a defective item. Not worth buying. I could not find anything on the internet about how to fix auto-focus manually since I can't even see what is displaying. If they can not solve my problem, I will most likely return the item. And the worst part is I ended up financing this item, so yeah. I do not feel like I received my money's worth.

    Essential backup for presentations!
    I give a lot of presentations and sometimes there are technical difficulties in connecting to whatever projector system is available. I really needed a to have my own projector system to bring as a backup for these situations. My biggest concern about this cute little projector was whether I would need to get external speakers but the built in speakers seem plenty loud to me! In fact I couldn't stand to have it turned up all the way in a small room because it was so loud. I was not able to use apple screen mirroring from my macbook so I had to connect with a HDMI dongle (which I already had). It looks like you can connect with microsoft screencasting if you do not have a mac. It was also super easy to get directly to youtube, netflix, and amazon directly through wifi. The other neat thing is that the projector focuses itself automatically and refocuses itself every time you move it! I also like that it's super small (see pic for size relative to a macbook air) and lightweight. Again, because I'm using this as a backup for public speaking, I need to be able to carry it around with me easily. Overall I'm super happy with this. I'll post an update if I have any trouble with the speakers in a large room but so far it seems like it will be sufficient.

      I gotta say, I wasn’t expecting to be so impressed with such a small and low-cost projector, but it keeps being better than I was hoping for in so many ways. We watch a ton of movies and TV and this just makes the movie night experience that much more fun. I’ve projected it on the wall and using a (wrinkly) sheet and both look great. Need to grab a proper projector screen though for optimal viewing.

      Mounting it on a standard tripod works great so I haven’t bothered trying to wall or ceiling mount it yet. After you turn it on, the automatic focus and keystone (where the projector aligns the image with the surface for all right angles) work really well. Both are very quick and you can even move the projector and it automatically does it again. If for some reason, if you still want to adjust your screen borders, that’s also an easy manual adjust in the menu. Everything works well and is super intuitive so much so that I haven’t touched the manual yet.

      Netflix works as you would hope/expect with no snags or slowdowns. It seems about as fast as my Apple TV 4K, so I can’t complain and I always appreciate the dedicated Netflix/Prime buttons on the remote. Generally, the WiFi seems solid and fast. Bluetooth seems similarly solid but I mainly just use the external speakers anyways since they sound so good and full. But its always nice to have the option for better sound with a speaker or using airpods when people are sleeping.

      The brightness and overall picture quality are amazing for this price point. I had another projector prior to this and although it was similarly priced, it was dimmer and much less sharp. This projector seems (to me and my GF) like it’s sharper than advertised for some reason. One other major improvement over my older one is the fan noise! My old projector’s fan always hampered enjoyment and made the audio experience really weak. So, I’m very pleasantly surprised at the low noise that, while audible, is barely noticeable unless the show goes fairly silent.

      A small point, but packaging is minimal while being protective, and its (almost?) all recyclable – just something I appreciate rather than overpacking things in plastic.

      Ultimately, there are a number of projectors in this price range, but if you’re looking for something with this combination of features and quality, I think you’d be hard pressed to find something better.

      I've tested and owned several Amazon projectors.

      For the price point this projector is simply outstanding.

      Fan noise – Not bad or annoying at all, I've heard a lot worse on more expensive projectors.

      Image quality – it's good, not as super sharp as more expensive models perhaps, (remember more expensive does not guarantee a clearer image or decent motion quality) but the image quality for this projector is pleasant and generally perfectly acceptable.

      Motion quality – this projector's motion is smooth and pleasant and can handle most demanding fast paced sports or movie scenes. Motion quality is extremely important on a projector and this projector handles that with aplomb.

      Colour definition and separation – in 95% of images everything is fine. Sometimes you might see it struggle slightly in certain scenes (not uncommon with budget projectors) but what I love is there are times when this projector truly excels and the colours and separation are lush and impressive.

      Brightness & contract – I'm talking about how bright the light is from the projector to the wall / screen. I wish it were a little brighter if I am honest. In most scenes no problem but grey to dark movie scenes, whilst the blacks are excellent (HDR) there is a occasional dullness that has to be tempered by your realistic expectations at this price point.

      In summary, I've only had it a day or so, but this little projector has won me over. I paid just over £100 for this projector and in many areas it performs as well, and sometimes better, than more expensive projectors you will find on Amason. It does a whole lot well and is a solid and capable projector. Well done Aurzen!
