The blazer, made of twill, also included a breast welt pocket and front flap pockets. Ciara coordinated the blazer with matching wide-leg trousers, which featured a high-waisted fit. Ciara paired the suit with a simple white button-down dress shirt with long sleeves that flared out of the cuffs of the blazer.
As for her footwear, Ciara opted for heels courtesy of Christian Louboutin and accentuated her sartorial statement with a pair of black, thick-frame glasses by Bottega Veneta. She also carried a boxy black bag, which perfectly added to the office-inspired look.

Between her music career, skin care brand, newfound cohosting duties and other entrepreneurial efforts, Ciara’s been incredibly busy. But the singer still found time in 2024 to expand her growing relationship with fashion brands by introducing a fall capsule collection with Bebe.
“I remember wearing Bebe to high school parties, going shopping and out to dinner with friends,” the singer previously told Fairchild Studio. “I had my Bebe logo T-shirt, which was a classic. I don’t know what girl didn’t have that as a staple in her closet during that time!”

“I love to tell a story and above all, I love to build things that inspire those around me — whether it’s with my music, my skin care line or my Bebe collaboration capsule,” she said. “There’s no greater joy than creating something reflecting my authentic self, my journey and my most confident, sharing it with those around me.”

New Delhi:India may cut tariffs on a few high-end goods – such as a special kind of steel, expensive motorcycles, and electronic items – imported from the United States, sources told NDTV Profit Wednesday. Such a move is not likely to have a major impact on the respective domestic industries and this could be confirmed Saturday, when Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presents the budget. India imports 20 items from the US on which there are duties in excess of 100 per cent.
All of this comes a day after US President Donald Trump referred to India, China, and Brazil – founding members of the increasingly influential BRICS bloc – as “tremendous tariff makers”. Speaking to House Republicans, he said he would not allow this to continue, declaring, “… we’re not going to let that happen any longer… we’re going to put America first.”
“We’re going to put tariffs on outside countries and people that really mean harm to us. China is a tremendous tariff-maker, and India, Brazil, and so many other countries. (But) we’re not going to let that happen any longer… because we’re going to put America first,” Trump declared to cheers.

Trump’s Tuesday broadside on India (and China and Brazil) and ‘high tariffs’ echoed comments made in September, in the build-up to the November 20 election. “We’re going to do reciprocal trade. If anybody charges us 10 cents (in duties)… if they charge us $2… if they charge us a 100 per cent or 250 per cent… we charge them the same thing,” he told his supporters.
“These people (referring to Indians, Chinese, and Brazilians) are the sharpest… they use it against us. But India is very tough. Brazil is very tough… China is the toughest of all… but we’re taking care of China with the tariffs,” he said.
The remarks then were made days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, although that was when Joe Biden was still President. And now, days after his “tremendous tariff-makers” swipe, Mr Modi is scheduled to visit the US again.
High tariffs on goods imported into the US – specifically from China – were a frequent refrain during Trump’s campaign. He also warned of “100 per cent tariffs” on BRICS nations to shut down talk of not using the dollar as the common currency.
Trump’s tariffs tirade has been seen by many as a clear economic agenda, questionable though the means may be, and that is to jumpstart manufacturing in the US. By marking up the prices of key commodities like steel, semi-conductors, medicines, etc., he is hoping to do just that. “Under the ‘America First’ economic model, as tariffs on other countries go up, taxes on American workers and businesses will come down and massive numbers of jobs and factories will come home.”

The other perspective is ‘tariff as a weapon’, a point-of-view underlined by Trump’s clash with Colombia over deportations. The South American country initially refused to accept a plane loaded with ‘illegal immigrants’.

The Trump administration responded by slapping a massive 25 per cent tariff on goods from there, leaving Colombian President Gustavo Petro with no option but to relent. Trump later declared the world would do well to look at this exchange.

India May Cut Duties On Some Goods From US, Day After Trump’s Tariffs JabIn a surprising move, India has announced that it may cut duties on some goods imported from the United States, just a day after President Trump criticized India for imposing high tariffs on American products.
The Indian government has stated that it is considering reducing tariffs on a range of items such as Harley-Davidson motorcycles, almonds, and walnuts, in an effort to ease trade tensions with the US.
This development comes after President Trump accused India of being a “tariff king” and demanded that the country lower its trade barriers with the US. The Trump administration has been pushing for greater market access for American products in India, which has been a point of contention between the two countries.
The potential reduction in duties on US goods could be seen as a gesture of goodwill from India towards the US, as both countries look to strengthen their trade relationship and avoid escalating tensions.
It remains to be seen how this move will impact trade negotiations between the US and India, but it could potentially pave the way for a more amicable resolution to their trade disputes. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.

Derek Lalonde was fired as coach of the Detroit Red Wings after two-plus seasons. He has been replaced by former Wings assistant coach Todd McLellan.
The team announced the news Thursday, on the third day of the NHL break. The move comes as the Wings are off to a disappointing start, just 13-17-4 as they near the halfway point of the season.
Lalonde, 52, was in his third year in charge of the Wings’ bench, having been named to the position on June 30, 2022. He went 89-86-23.
Yzerman spoke before the start of the season of wanting to see progress from last season, when the Wings chased a playoff spot all the way till Game 82. But the Wings instead looked like they regressed: They’ve been mediocre at best, at times showing signs of a competitive team, but too often, looking immature and lacking in energy and execution.
They would put on a good performance one game – one of their best came Oct. 24 in an emotional and energetic outing against the New Jersey Devils, and their best performance, on Nov. 9, only failed to gain points because of New York Rangers goalie Jonathan Quick.
But then, a week after the Rangers game, the Wings had their worst outing of the first quarter: They had their game in Anaheim in hand, leading by two goals – only to disintegrate in a mess of penalties and turnovers, and handing victory to the Ducks.
The Wings have made a major coaching change, relieving Derek Lalonde of his duties and naming Todd McLellan as the new head coach. McLellan brings a wealth of coaching experience to the team, having previously served as head coach for the San Jose Sharks and Edmonton Oilers. With a proven track record of success in the NHL, McLellan is expected to bring a new level of leadership and strategic thinking to the Wings. Fans are hopeful that his coaching style will help elevate the team to new heights and lead them to a successful season.
Stay tuned for updates on how McLellan’s coaching will impact the Wings’ performance on the ice. #Wings #NHL #CoachingChange
