NBA Legend Dwight Howard’s Georgia Mansion Lists for $11.3 Million
After a little more than seven years of ownership, Dwight Howard is officially bouncing out of his Georgia estate. The eight-time NBA All-Star and former Los Angeles Lakers center—he’s currently pushing for a return stint with the West Coast team—has just hoisted his European-style residence tucked away in the suburban community of Suwanee, some 35 miles northeast of Atlanta, on the market for a dash under $11.3 million. Kelly Anderson of Engel & Volkers Atlanta holds the listing.
Built over five years for a reported $40 million and completed in 2010, the property was initially listed in early 2014 for $15 million. The place subsequently underwent several price chops before eventually selling in 2016 to the then-Atlanta Hawks player at a discounted $8.8 million, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle, which first reported the listing.
Howard’s skylight-topped snake room was custom-built by a team from Animal Planet’s “Tanked” show.

Secluded behind two gated entrances amid a 14-acre parcel, the stately red brick structure is fronted by an oval cobblestone driveway that wraps around a fountain-laced lawn. Inside, 10 bedrooms and a whopping 21 baths are sprawled across a little more than 32,400 square feet of living space. He’s also been with the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, and most recently, the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan.

Royce Reed Claims Dwight Howard Was Intimate With Men “All The Time”
Dwight Howard and his ex-girlfriend, Royce Reed, have spent many years not seeing eye-to-eye in the public light. Now, Reed has added another layer to their tumultuous relationship while recently speaking on his sexual preferences with Cam Newton.
During an appearance on Newton’s Funky Fridays show (Jan. 24), the former Basketball Wives star claimed she had personally witnessed Howard engaging in intimate encounters with men “all the time.” She further alleged that the NBA icon frequently used psychedelic mushrooms before sexual encounters with men, in which she claimed she didn’t partake.
Her statements have reignited speculations surrounding Howard’s sexual orientation—a topic that has been the subject of discussion for years.
“Have you ever witnessed him being with another man in the bed?” Newton bluntly asked Reed at the 01:29:10 mark of the interview. “Yeah. All the time,” she quickly responded. “They took mushrooms together and then they were like in the bed moaning and touching themselves … but they say that’s an effect of taking mushrooms. I didn’t take them. I pretended to but I didn’t. I spit them right out.”
Reed explained that she had witnessed many of his sexual encounters with men during days-long “parties” he would throw in his home during quarantine. She also admitted that his children—including her son—would be present in the home, but “upstairs in their rooms with the nanny.”
Newton then put Reed in the hot seat, questioning her motherhood. “You were a part of that, too…” he quipped. In response, the 44-year-old explained, “Yes. It was quarantine. Everybody was chillin’ outside in their own yard. Everybody was probably puffin’. That was not a problem.” Newton interrupted her, adding, “I don’t think that was the problem. Yeah, substance is cool—you do whatever floats your boat, but keep the kids out of it.”

Howard was previously accused of sexual assault by Georgia man Stephen Harper, only for the accuser to drop his lawsuit after Howard’s attorneys alleged the man deleted text messages showing their encounter was consensual, The Associated Press reported back in August 2024.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Reed chronicled how her and Howard’s relationship became estranged—which she claimed has much to do with him being “manipulative” and “not caring” about his children.
In the past, the two have had issues regarding their co-parenting dynamic, whereas Howard has previously spoken about financially providing for all of his children—while Reed has suggested otherwise. Howard has also accused Reed of mismanaging funds designated for their son’s care.

One person who had hopes for Simmons this season was former NBA superstar Dwight Howard.
He spoke about his former 76ers teammate on Above The Rim with DH 12 in September.
Howard on Simmons before the season: “He was hurt last year. He had the same back surgery I had, so I understand how tough it is to really come back from it… It’s super serious.
