Flagg is averaging 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists for the Blue Devils, who are 15-2 and have won 11 games in a row.
BOSTON — Cooper Flagg is playing a sold-out game Saturday in Boston, where Duke and Boston College were set to square off.
The 18-year-old freshman phenom from Newport will lead his third-ranked Blue Devils into Conte Forum to take on the Eagles.
Flagg is averaging 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists for the Blue Devils, who are 15-2 and have won 11 games in a row.
Just last week, the 6-foot-9 Flagg scored 42 points to set a conference freshman single-game scoring record, helping Duke beat Notre Dame 86-78.
“I was just out there playing,” Flagg said last Saturday as he sat at his locker afterward surrounded by reporters, according to the Associated Press. “When I’m in the game, I don’t really know what’s going on. I’m just playing locked in.”
The broken scoring record joins a growing list of astonishing accomplishments early in his career.
Saturday night’s game in Boston is the closest trip to Maine for Duke all year, and the game sold out quickly. Media relations officials for Boston College told NEWS CENTER Maine this is the most credentials that have been requested for a BC basketball game in years.
According to Victory Live, a company that tracks ticket sales, ticket prices jumped nearly 50 percent compared to Duke’s average road games this season.
The game begins at 8 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.
NEWS CENTER Maine will have crews at the game. This story will be updated.
In a thrilling matchup between Duke’s Blue Devils and Boston College Eagles, Cooper Flagg emerged as the standout player, leading his team to victory. Flagg showcased his exceptional skills and determination on the court, making key plays and leading his team to a decisive win.
With his sharp shooting and impressive court vision, Flagg dominated the game, scoring crucial points and setting up his teammates for success. His leadership on the court was evident as he rallied his team and kept them focused throughout the game.
In the end, Cooper Flagg’s stellar performance was instrumental in Duke’s victory over Boston College. His standout play and unwavering determination solidified his status as a key player for the Blue Devils, and fans are excited to see what he will bring to future games.
A Philadelphia Eagles fan who spewed crude insults at a woman rooting for the visiting Green Bay Packers during Sunday’s wild-card playoff game lost his job this week at a New Jersey company that specializes in D.E.I. work because of his conduct, which was caught on a viral video.
The fan, whose name was not released by his former employer, BCT Partners, was also barred from future events at Lincoln Financial Field, the home stadium of the Eagles, a person briefed on the matter told The New York Times.
In the video, which was shared online early Monday by the woman’s fiancé and viewed more than 31 million times on X, the fan repeatedly called her a vulgar name and cursed at her during the Eagles’ opening-round 22-10 victory in the playoffs. The man was sitting in the upper deck, one row behind the couple, who were both wearing Packers jerseys and live outside Philadelphia.
The woman’s fiancé, Alexander Basara, a podcaster who focuses on the Packers, asked internet sleuths to help him to identify the man.
“What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team…” he wrote. “Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…… this is not okay I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team.”
In a social media post late on Tuesday, BCT Partners, which is based in East Brunswick, N.J., wrote that it had “decided to part company” with the employee immediately after conducting an internal investigation into his actions at the game.
“We condemn our former employee’s conduct in the strongest possible terms,” the company wrote. “This individual’s conduct and language were vile, disgusting, unacceptable and horrific and have no place in our workplace and society. Such conduct is not who we are and what we stand for.”
Efforts to reach the fan involved in the episode by phone, email and text message on Wednesday were not immediately successful.
On the BCT Partners website, the company describes itself as minority-owned and “D.E.I. champions,” the abbreviation for diversity, equity and inclusion. The site states that the group’s corporate culture is guided by the “South African principle of Ubuntu, translated as ‘I am because we are’ or ‘humanity towards others.’”
The company offered an apology to the woman in the video and said that it was committed to gender equity.
The woman and her fiancé, Mr. Basara, did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Wednesday.
In an interview on Tuesday, the woman and Mr. Basara told NBC10 in Philadelphia that the man sitting behind them grew increasingly confrontational toward the end of the third quarter and started to insult her appearance.
“I think he attacked me more so because I am a woman and I’m not going to punch him in the face, or he didn’t feel threatened by me,” she said.
In a city known for being merciless to visiting sports fans — and where Santa Claus was once pelted with snowballs at halftime during an Eagles game in 1968 — the fan’s actions drew national attention.
It was not the first time this season in the National Football League that a fan’s misconduct made headlines.
In December, a Detroit Lions fan had his season tickets revoked by the team after getting into a shouting match with the Packers coach Matt LaFleur on the field before a game. The fan had been invited to help hold a giant American flag for the national anthem when he started taunting visiting players and coaches, including by making a throat-slashing gesture.
Also in December, the family of an 8-year-old cancer survivor attending a Buffalo Bills game said that they had left early after the girl, a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the visitors that night, had been pushed by a fan of the home team.

Recently, an Eagles fan made headlines for all the wrong reasons after launching a misogynistic attack on a Packers fan. The incident took place at a D.E.I. (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) firm, where the Eagles fan was employed.
The Eagles fan, who has since been fired from the firm, directed a series of offensive and derogatory comments towards the Packers fan, including sexist remarks and threats of violence. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media, sparking outrage and condemnation from fans of both teams.
In a statement released by the D.E.I. firm, they expressed their disappointment and disgust at the behavior of the Eagles fan. They emphasized that such actions are completely antithetical to their values of promoting equality and respect for all individuals.
The Eagles fan has since issued a public apology for his actions, but the damage has been done. His employment at the D.E.I. firm has been terminated, and he faces backlash from both Eagles and Packers fans alike.
This incident serves as a reminder that sports rivalries should never escalate to the point of dehumanizing or attacking others. It is important to remember that at the end of the day, sports are meant to be a source of enjoyment and camaraderie, not a platform for hate and intolerance. Let’s strive to create a more inclusive and respectful sports culture for all fans, regardless of their team allegiance.
A Philadelphia sports fan, who went on a misogynistic tirade against a female Green Bay Packers fan in viral video, lost his job and won’t be allowed to ever attend another Eagles home game, officials said Tuesday.
The ugly scene was captured on cellphone video during the Eagles’ NFC wild-card round victory Sunday night at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philly.
The “individual will not be permitted to attend any future events at Lincoln Financial Field,” a source familiar with the matter said Tuesday.
The widely shared videoshowed a man in an Eagles jacket bending over, cusping his hands over his mouth and verbally abusing the female fan in the row in front of him. That fan did not appear to respond to him.
Online sleuths connected the offending fan to a New Jersey management consulting firm, BCT Partners, that denounced its employee’s behavior.
And by late Tuesday night, the company said it had parted with the employee it identified as Ryan Caldwell, a business analyst with a speciality in information technology.
“The language was vile, it was disgusting, it was unacceptable and horrific,” BCT Partners founder Randal Pinkett told NBC News on Wednesday.
“It was diametrically opposed to the values that we espouse at BCT. We’re a company that’s founded on inclusion, on respect, on dignity and the behavior was just in complete contrary to everything that we stand for at this organization.”
But Pinkett wished his now-former employee well and hopes he can pick up the pieces from Sunday night’s incident.
“It’s not just that we have parted ways with Mr. Caldwell, but we were very clear in our statement that we extended grace and support to him, that he could be better,” Pinkett said.
“What troubles me is his behavior, but what also troubles me is the cancel culture that we live in, that doesn’t afford people grace that we don’t have the opportunity to be better people and learn from our mistakes.”
In a statement to NBC News on Wednesday, Caldwell apologized for his behavior.
“While attending an NFL game last Sunday to support my beloved Philadelphia Eagles, an incident occurred that I deeply regret. What began as banter with two Packers fans sitting near me escalated to something more serious, and I said things that were unacceptable,” according to his statement.
“In the heat of the moment, I chose unforgiving words to address one of the fans, Ms. Ally Keller. I want to sincerely apologize to Ms. Keller for those words, and to my wife, family, and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the City of Philadelphia, and all who were offended.”
The Eagles won the game 22-10, advancing to play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon.
The fan targeted by Caldwell’s rants, Ally Keller, and her fiancé, Alex Basara, told NBC Philadelphia they were initially having a good time at the game, even enjoying friendly banter with rival fans.
“He started out with playful jabs at first or kind of just saying things to us right when we sat down,” Basara told NBC Philadelphia. “I chatted with him for a bit. But then he just kept saying some of the same things. Continued through the entire game. It got worse and worse as the game went on. We were surrounded by Eagles fans. We were getting all the attention.”
The man’s comments became nastier as the Eagles’ lead grew, the couple said.
“And then he just said, ‘Actually, you’re not even good-looking enough to be talking to me,’” Keller said. “And then I said, you know, ‘What does that mean?’ And he said, ‘You know what that means.’ And so I said, ‘Have you looked in the mirror yourself?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, but I’m a man. I’m allowed to be ugly. You’re a woman.’”
Basara said recording the incident is what ended up de-escalating it.
Keller said she was hesitant to say too much to the home team’s fan because the atmosphere was hostile.
“If it did turn into an altercation or something physical, all they see is me messing with an Eagles fan, and then I become the target,” she said. “And then what happens with my fiancé at that time in that scenario? It’s a dangerous situation.”
Philadelphia fans, and Eagles supporters in particular, have long had a rough reputation they believe is overblown.
At one point in the late 1990s and the early 2000s, an arraignment court was established in the basement of the team’s former home at Veterans Stadium to deal with fans apprehended for drunkenness, fighting and more on Sundays in the fall.
In a shocking turn of events, a foul-mouthed Eagles fan has been banned from attending home games and fired from his job after a disturbing and viral tirade against a woman at a recent game.
The incident, which was captured on video and quickly spread across social media, shows the fan hurling a barrage of profanities and insults at the woman sitting in front of him. The video shows him screaming obscenities, making sexist remarks, and even physically threatening the woman.
The Eagles organization swiftly condemned the fan’s behavior and announced that he would no longer be allowed to attend home games. In a statement, the team emphasized that they have a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior and are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all fans.
In addition to being banned from games, the fan was also fired from his job after his employer became aware of the video. The company released a statement saying that they do not condone such behavior and that the fan’s actions were not representative of their values.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of toxic and abusive behavior, both in person and online. It is a powerful example of how swift and decisive action can be taken to hold individuals accountable for their actions and ensure that everyone can enjoy sporting events in a safe and respectful manner.

Marquette Golden Eagles vs Xavier Musketeers highlights
The Xavier Musketeers travel to Cream City to battle the Marquette Golden Eagles in a Big East Conference clash. Marquette is looking for a sixth consecutive victory in this series dating back to Feb. 15, 2023. Xavier’s last win was 80-76 on Jan. 15, 2023, and it hasn’t won at Marquette since Dec. 27, 2017. The Musketeers have won 2 in a row, but they are just 3-5 straight up in the past 8 games. While Xavier isn’t picking up a lot of wins, it is 7-2 against the spread in the past 9. The Musketeers are 3-3 ATS in 6 games as underdogs this season.
The Golden Eagles have won 6 in a row, but they are just 1-6 ATS in the past 7 tries. However, as a single-digit favorite Marquette is 4-1 ATS. The Golden Eagles have dominated this series against their Big East rivals from Cincinnati. They won just 72-70 on Dec. 21 at Cintas Center against the Musketeers, but they got the job done in a non-cover. At home Marquette is 5-5 ATS this season and 2-0 ATS as a single-digit favorite at Fiserv Forum. I’m backing the Golden Eagles to get the job done against the skidding Musketeers.
Xavier vs Marquette prediction: Marquette -9.5 (-110) available at time of publishing. Playable at that number.

The Xavier Musketeers will be facing off against the Marquette Golden Eagles in a highly anticipated college basketball game. Both teams are coming off strong performances and will be looking to continue their winning streak.
The Musketeers have been on a roll lately, winning their last four games and showcasing a balanced offense and solid defense. Led by guard Paul Scruggs and forward Zach Freemantle, Xavier has the talent to compete with any team in the country.
On the other hand, the Golden Eagles have also been playing well, with standout performances from guard D.J. Carton and forward Justin Lewis. Marquette has a high-powered offense that can score in bunches, making them a threat to any opponent.
In terms of odds, Xavier is currently listed as the favorite with a -3.5 point spread. The over/under is set at 147.5 points, indicating that this could be a high-scoring affair.
In terms of picks, I believe that Xavier will come out on top in this matchup. They have been playing excellent basketball and have the depth and talent to secure a victory. I predict a final score of Xavier 75, Marquette 70.
Overall, this game promises to be an exciting and competitive matchup between two talented teams. Make sure to tune in and see who comes out on top in this thrilling showdown.
PHILADELPHIA — A trip to the NFC Championship game is on the line with the Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams meeting in the postseason for the first time in 23 years. Each team has been two of the recent Super Bowl representatives out of the NFC, but have yet to meet in the postseason with Nick Sirianni or Sean McVay as their respective head coaches.
Of course, the Eagles and Rams are two of the hottest teams in the NFC. The Eagles have won 13 of their last 14 games, averaging 28.5 points per contest and allowing just 15.0 points during their hot streak as arguably the best team in the NFL since their bye week (Week 5). The Rams have won 10 of their last 13, averaging 23.1 points per game during the stretch while allowing 8.3 points per game over their past four games.
Add in the potential of snow to the mix and this could be the most intriguing matchup of the weekend. As the Eagles and Rams get set to battle in the divisional round, here’s how to watch the game and a short preview of the showdown:
Eagles vs. Rams where to watch

The weather forecast
Weather wasn’t a factor for this game until the past few days, as snow is significantly set to hit the Philadelphia region. Per Accu Weather, there is a 96% chance of snow set to hit Philadelphia late Sunday morning with a projected accumulation of 1-3 inches. There is a 77% chance of that accumulation, which is expected to hit during the game.
The Eagles play outdoors and this weather is atypical for January, although Philadelphia hasn’t experienced a playoff game during a snowstorm in decades. The Rams play in Los Angeles, a different climate that affects the indoor-outdoor SoFi Stadium. Snow isn’t typically in the Southern California forecast.
The weather is expected to resemble a winter wonderland, conditions the Eagles have been preparing for by practicing in the cold weather at Lincoln Financial Field all week.
Saquon Barkley — the sequel
The last time the Eagles faced the Rams in Week 12, Barkley had the biggest game of his career en route to his historic 2,000-yard season. The Rams run defense was no match for Barkley, as he rushed for 255 yards and two touchdowns — both 70+ yards — and averaged 9.8 yards per carry. The Eagles rushed for 314 yards and averaged 7.0 yards per carry, their highest total of the season, as their massive offensive line dominated the Rams’ small defensive line up front.
There is some good news for the Rams, if they look at history in their favor. Barkley is the eighth player in NFL history to rush for 200+ yards in a regular-season game against an opponent, and then face that same opponent in the playoffs. The previous seven players combined to average 43.0 rush yards in the playoff game, and none of them hit the 100-yard mark. Adrian Peterson was the closest to getting 100 yards, as he rushed for 99 against the Green Bay Packers in 2012 one week after rushing for 210 yards against them in the Minnesota Vikings‘ regular-season finale.
Barkley isn’t likely to rush for 200+ yards against the Rams defense again, but the Eagles still have that massive size advantage in the trenches.
Prediction
The Rams are a very dangerous team, especially the way Matthew Stafford has been playing of late. Stafford has 13 touchdowns to just one interception over his last seven games, having a 106.2 passer rating. Fortunately for the Eagles, jalen Hurts has just one interception over his last 12 games played.
The Eagles have the biggest advantage in the trenches, as their offensive line can wear down the Rams defensive line. Barkley could have another huge day running the football, but Hurts and the passing game will need to click early. If the Eagles can get the pass game going and not turn the ball over, they should win.
Pick: Eagles 34, Rams 21
The highly anticipated NFC playoff game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Rams is just around the corner, and fans are eager to tune in to see which team will come out victorious. Here’s what you need to know about where to watch the action:
NFL Kickoff Time: The game is set to kick off at 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, January 9th.
TV Channel: The game will be broadcast on FOX, so be sure to check your local listings to find the channel in your area.
Live Stream: If you’re unable to watch the game on TV, you can stream it live on the FOX Sports app or NFL Game Pass.
Odds: The Rams are currently favored to win this matchup, with odds of -3.5. However, anything can happen in the NFL playoffs, so this game is sure to be an exciting one.
Pick: While the Rams may be the favorites, the Eagles have shown that they have what it takes to compete with the best teams in the league. Ultimately, this game could go either way, but I’m going to go with the upset and pick the Eagles to come out on top in a close battle.
Be sure to tune in to this thrilling NFC playoff game to see which team will advance to the next round. Let the countdown to kickoff begin!

The Philadelphia Eagles clearly have plenty of talent.
Philadelphia already has won the NFC East and is considered to be one of the top contenders in football overall. The Eagles don’t need to make any big moves, but a former superstar just became available.
The Dallas Cowboys waived three-time Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliott on Tuesday, according to FOX Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz.
“Breaking: Cowboys releasing RB Ezekiel Elliott, sources tell NFL on FOX,” Schultz said. “Ezekiel Elliott requested his release and the Cowboys granted it out of respect for the player and person he has been for the organization. Elliott could now land with a playoff team — but he first goes on waivers.”
Elliott hasn’t had a great year but hasn’t had much of an opportunity for the Cowboys. He has 226 rushing yards on just 74 carries so far this season. It wouldn’t be shocking at all to see Elliott land with a contender if he clears waivers.
Although he hasn’t put up huge numbers this year, Elliott is still a veteran running back who surely can help a team out, at least as their No. 2 rusher. Plus, he’s great at blocking and is good in the passing game.
He’s out there and someone will get him. Should the Philadelphia Eagles try? The Eagles clearly don’t need another top running back option with Saquon Barkley in town. But pairing the two together couldn’t hurt. Kenneth Gainwell currently is Barkley’s backup and has done a great job in the role. Still, adding someone like Elliott would just give the Eagles yet another depth option if injuries pop up. It should be considered.
The Philadelphia Eagles have been making waves in the offseason, and their latest move could potentially shake up the NFC East even more. Rumors are swirling that the Eagles are eyeing a former Dallas Cowboys 3-time Pro Bowler to add to their roster.
With the Eagles already boasting a strong lineup, adding a talented player like this ex-Cowboys star could give them the edge they need to dominate the division. The question on everyone’s mind is, could the Eagles steal this Pro Bowler away from their division rivals?
Stay tuned as we keep you updated on this developing story and see if the Eagles can pull off this potential steal. Eagles fans, are you ready to welcome a former Cowboys star to the team? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
PHILADELPHIA — Jason Kelce chatted with the Linc — yes, the concrete and steel of the Philadelphia Eagles home stadium answered him with a pep talk — before the retired All-Pro lineman toured the city in his Eagles helmet car all while dressed in his Super Bowl parade Mummer’s costume. He parked the souped-up golf cart and tossed the keys ZZ Top-style ahead of the first day of his new job.
He then dropped a profanity into the start of his monologue.
Roll out The Chug Machine, fly, F-bombs, fly, and save a seat for Sir Charles because the latest host crashing late-night television is a bit more raw than the traditional suit-and-tie joke tellers.
Jason Kelce threw a late night bash — and he brought his wife, his parents, a fan with a Phillie Phanatic tattoo inked on his navel, a Philly band and an uncensored (at least on stage) take on sports for the first of five episodes of “They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce,” on ESPN.
Here’s Kelce!
“I used to love watching late night TV growing up,” Kelce said.
Kelce quickly proved there’s space for another JK in late night — Kelce disappeared into a portal where he walked out into (a pantsless) Jimmy Kimmel’s office to ask for hosting advice — and moderated a loose panel of sports topics with guests Charles Barkley, rapper and actor Lil Dicky, and NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger.

And Kelce said he received real guidance from Kimmel on the art of hosting.
“He sat me down and really explained some things that he thought would accelerate this process for me,” Kelce said.
Kelce bantered with the guests during commercial breaks and took questions from a few of about 300 fans in the audience. When a fan from New Jersey invited Kelce to his wedding, the retired star quipped, “I don’t go into New Jersey.”
Eagles fan and Penn State student Caleb Tinley learned only two days earlier he was randomly selected for a pair of free tickets and was first in line around noon to get a good seat for the taping. He’s a fan of the “ New Heights ” podcast Kelce co-hosts with his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and figured the TV show was as close to that experience as he could get.

“Ever since he had that speech at the Super Parade, he became a Philly legend,” Tinley said.
The 37-year-old Kelce — who retired in March after a 13-year career spent entirely with Philadelphia — has watched his profile balloon in retirement. The Super Bowl winner already hosted the podcast but has become a prolific pitchman hawking everything from chicken wings to soup, to laundry detergent to cereal, to hoagies to his own beer company.
Kelce was already omnipresent on television and social media, so what was one more gig to add to his resume?
So “Late Night” was born.
Kelce is in the first year of a multiyear agreement with ESPN and already appears on the network’s “Monday Night Countdown” show. The retired center taking center stage on a late night staple such as a talk show — no Letterman, though he did wear his Cleveland Heights letterman’s jacket — seemed a natural extension into his growing entertainment profile.
The show’s title is a homage to “They Call it Pro Football,” which was NFL Films’ first full-length film in 1967. NFL Films originated in Philadelphia and founders Ed and Steve Sabol are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It also featured the legendary voice of John Facenda, whose tone was imitated on the show by Kelce and his panel as they narrated modern NFL highlights.
“I knew I wanted NFL Films because I felt like we wanted to make a show that celebrated the NFL landscape,” Kelce said. “Not just from current players and current games, but of past games and past players. Past announcers. NFL fans and the subculture of the NFL. We wanted to create a show that really embraced all of that.”
The Philadelphia-based band Snacktime provided the music. Kylie Kelce, fresh off dethroning Joe Rogan as the No. 1 podcast on the Spotify charts, served as the foul-mouthed sidekick from her perch in “Kylie’s Korner.”
Kelce’s expletives in the monologue were no momentary brain cramp as he transitioned from locker room talk to cable television. Kelce and Kylie peppered their conversations with profanity — this is late night, after all — and tried to make the relationship seem as real in the studio as it is at home where the couple raise three daughters with a fourth girl expected this year.
“We really wanted the language to be real and authentic to me,” Kelce said after the show. “We overdid it a little bit today to kind of prep the audience on what to expect. I think the F-bombs was the one thing where I was told, we might want to be a little bit cautious there but, listen, we want to give you range to be who you are.”
The debut one-hour “Late Night” episode was taped Friday in front of a live audience from Philly concert venue Union Transfer. The show aired at 1 a.m. EST on ESPN and will tape the next four Friday nights. The schedule coincides with the last week of the NFL’s regular season and the playoffs.
Comedian Seth Herzog warmed up the crowd and joked the event had a no-phones policy so Kelce wouldn’t smash them like he did in a viral moment at Penn State.
The Philly slant couldn’t be missed — they filmed a bit where a female fan spewed bites of a hoagie into the mouth of, well, Jason Kelce from the future, and Barkley played to the crowd when he picked the Eagles to win the Super Bowl — but the real Kelce said he wanted a show that would appeal to fans nationwide.
Smash hit or not, there are no promises from ESPN of anything beyond the limited run.
“We really just wanted to try something fun to do and I think everybody was on board to experiment and see what happens,” Kelce said. “I do think there’s room for this, especially within the football season.”
After Kelce participated in a skit with parents Ed and Donna, celebrated with a fastest beer-chugging winner and shared a cold one at the bar with Eagles great Harold Carmichael, he broke down the show the same way he would as an Eagle in the postgame locker room.
“It’s game day,” Kelce said. “Plenty of errors, just like a game. Plenty of things to clean up. But just so happy with how it went.”

The 88 Pro Bowl selections are determined by a vote that includes fans, players, and coaches. The 2025 Pro Bowl Games, presented by Verizon, will be held on Sunday, February 2 in Orlando. Hopefully, the Eagles are preparing for Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans and will have to decline the invites.
Here’s exclusive reaction from the six players chosen, as well as a look at the alternates:
RB Saquon Barkley Starter 3rd Pro Bowl Selection
In his first year as an Eagle, Saquon Barkley became just the ninth player in NFL history to surpass 2,000 rushing yards (2,005) in a single season.
“It’s great. One, because the fans helped and any time you’ve got fans as part of it and voting for you, it means a lot. This league is not the league without the fans,” said Barkley, who has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week four times in 2024. “Getting that respect from my peers means something to me and that feels good. This is my third Pro Bowl (2018 and 2022 seasons when he played with the Giants). It’s been a couple of years and I love it. It’s cool. I’m happy that we were able to get a decent amount of guys – I feel like we should have at least a couple more – and so I’m glad that the team success we have had so far is recognized.”
Barkley has also set the franchise’s single-game rushing record (255 yards vs. Rams) and single-season scrimmage yards record (2,283). The Eagles, as a team, have already set a new single-season rushing record (2,997) entering Week 18.
One of the league’s most explosive players (an NFL-best 46 runs of 10-plus yards), Barkley also authored one of the most athletic plays ever with the reverse hurdle in the win over the Jaguars.
Barkley has been at his best in the second half of games with 1,245 rushing yards, the most by any NFL player since at least 1991. He’s accounted for a league-best 36.6 percent of the team’s scrimmage yards. No other player has more than 29 percent.
LB Zack Baun 1st Pro Bowl Selection
Like Barkley, Zack Baun signed with the Eagles in the offseason. Unlike Barkley, however, Baun is a full-time starter for the first time in his career at a new position after being utilized as a hybrid off-ball linebacker/edge rusher in his first four NFL seasons in New Orleans.
Baun has flourished with the Eagles, recording 150 tackles, 11 for loss, 3.5 sacks, 5 QB hits, 14 QB pressures, five forced fumbles, an interception, and a fumble recovery, while playing 95 percent of the snaps.
Baun found out on Monday when he received a call from Executive Vice President/General Manager Howie Roseman on the way to NovaCare Complex. Baun decided to hold off on telling his wife, Ali, until he got home. She jokingly acted like she wasn’t impressed when he shared the good news. Turns out, his agent, R.J. Gonser, had already given her the heads up.
“It’s a big accomplishment, a huge accomplishment. I just looked back and felt like I was where I was supposed to be at this point in my career,” Baun said. “I feel like you don’t look at goals all of the time, or the milestones or those accomplishments. I was just focusing on the work and knew it would come.”
It’s been a special season for the Bauns as they welcomed their first child, a son, Elian, this offseason.
“It’s been a crazy year, so many good things have happened. Life-changing year for me and my family. But it was also hard at times. First, the unknown of where I’m going to be and the timing of the baby right around the time I would have to move where I’m going, so that brought a lot of stress,” Baun said. “We all looked back and there’s just so many good things. I was doing my best to live in the moment and stay where my feet are the whole time.”
Baun trains in the offseason with former linebacker T.J. Edwards, whose praise for the organization helped factor into the decision to sign with the Eagles.
“I knew behind the scenes, the way he was talking about the environment here and the coaches and the people surrounding his place were special, too. That had a lot to do with it as well,” Baun said.
DT Jalen Carter Starter 1st Pro Bowl Selection
Jalen Carter’s game has taken an impressive leap from Year 1 to Year 2. After earning All-Rookie Team honors, the No. 9 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft has 42 tackles, 12 for loss, 4.5 sacks, 61 combined QB hits and pressures, five pass deflections, and two forced fumbles.
Carter has performed at a high level despite playing 84 percent of the defensive snaps, up from 48 percent as a rookie. And Carter has earned respect from offenses around the league as he is consistently double-teamed in an effort to limit his effectiveness.
“It means a lot. I wanted it last year, but didn’t get it. It means a lot, but at the end of the day, my goal is to win the Super Bowl,” Carter said. “My mom (Tonique Brown) was very happy for me and it was good to see her smile. My brother and coaches, it’s all great. The rest of the league sees what I’m doing and it’s nice to know that they’re recognizing me for what is going on out there on the field.”
G Landon Dickerson Starter 3rd Pro Bowl Selection
Four NFL seasons. Three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances.
Landon Dickerson has established himself as one of the best guards in franchise history, tying Brandon Brooks for the most Pro Bowl selections in team history.
“It’s nice, but I’d much rather have a Super Bowl,” said Dickerson, who earned a long-term contract extension last offseason. “I’m not big on individual accolades, which are alright, but Super Bowls mean a lot more. To have three of us on the line (Lane Johnson, Cam Jurgens) is nice, but we all feel the same way about having team success.”
T Lane Johnson Starter 6th Pro Bowl Selection
How is it that Lane Johnson remains at the top of the class among tackles in the NFL even as he nears the end of his 12th NFL season?
Johnson, the No. 4 overall pick in 2013, earned his sixth overall Pro Bowl selection, and his third in a row. He sits behind only Jason Kelce and Jason Peters – two future Hall of Famers with seven apiece – for the most Pro Bowls by an offensive lineman in Eagles history.
“I remember days earlier in my career when things didn’t go so well, so to be voted in is special to me. I feel like this has been one of my best seasons. What Jordan (Mailata) and do I do in terms of being on an island and not getting a lot of ‘chip’ help – we handle it one-on-one. I wish Jordan had made it because he deserved it, too,” Johnson said.
“I don’t chase success; I try to attract it with my daily habits. A lot of people deserve credit for my success – I’m happy for my trainer, Gabe (Rangel), and my coaches and my teammates. It takes a lot of people for an individual to have success. This is my sixth one and it doesn’t get old, honestly. The team comes first always, but to get recognized, it feels good.”
C Cam Jurgens 1st Pro Bowl Selection
Jalen Carter took over for a legend in Fletcher Cox this season. Cam Jurgens manned the center position, previously handled by one of the league’s all-time greats in Jason Kelce, a beloved figure in Philadelphia sports history.
The pressure could have been too much for certain players to handle. For Jurgens, remaining true to himself was instrumental in the transition from right guard in 2023 to center this season.
“I feel like I have a lot of good guys around me and I just kept learning, getting better every game this year. It’s a huge honor, so many people playing never get it,” Jurgens said. “I’m still going to do the same thing and be the same person.”
In addition to being himself, Jurgens cited a strong focus on diligence and working on the correct things as keys to success.
The Philadelphia Eagles have had an impressive showing in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games, with a total of six players from the team being named to the prestigious event. These players have demonstrated exceptional skill and talent throughout the season, earning them the recognition they deserve.
The six Eagles who will be representing the team in the Pro Bowl Games are:
1. QB Carson Wentz
2. TE Dallas Goedert
3. DE Josh Sweat
4. LB T.J. Edwards
5. CB Darius Slay
6. S Rodney McLeod
Each of these players has played a crucial role in the Eagles’ success this season, and their selection to the Pro Bowl is a testament to their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to these six Eagles on this well-deserved honor, and best of luck in the Pro Bowl Games! #FlyEaglesFly
