Emma Navarro faces Ons Jabeur at the 2025 Australian Open. Our Australian Open odds series has our Navarro-Jabeur prediction, odds and pick. Find out how to watch Navarro-Jabeur.

Emma Navarro knows how important this year is to her tennis career. Navarro burst onto the scene in 2024. She ended 2023 ranked outside the top 35. She rose all the way to No. 8 in the WTA world rankings before 2024 was done. Navarro scored huge wins against elite competition at multiple major events. She beat Madison Keys at the French Open, then Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff at Wimbledon en route to the quarterfinals. Then, at the 2024 U.S. Open, she went all the way to the semifinals. She put in a lot of really good work and sustained it over several months at big tournaments. Her rise did not feel like an accident. To put things differently, her rankings rise wasn’t the product of one tournament and one big points pickup; it was the result of several tournaments Navarro managed to string together over multiple months. This felt real and organic, not a stroke of luck or anything aberrational.

Whenever a tennis player puts together a big season for the first time, the rest of the tour takes notice. Every player in the locker room begins to put more of a target on that opponent’s back. Navarro knows the rest of the tour is coming for her. That’s why 2025 is so important. If Navarro can answer the challenge of being a marked opponent for the rest of the tour, she will know she is here to stay and will continue to be very relevant in women’s tennis. If she gets knocked off her perch, it will be that much more difficult to build back to this same standard in the future. In 2025, we are going to learn if Emma Navarro is ready to be an annual top-10 player or just an occasional visitor to the top 10, a tennis tourist one could say. She won a fierce match against Payton Stearns earlier in this Australian Open and then won her second-round match relatively smoothly. If she can beat Ons Jabeur, who has reached multiple major finals, Navarro will know her 2025 season has a chance to become something special.

    Why Emma Navarro Will Win

Emma Navarro had a better 2024 tennis season than Ons Jabeur. Right now, Navarro is a better tennis player than Jabeur. The spread should be larger than what it is. Navarro will win the match, simple as that.

    Why Ons Jabeur Will Win

Ons Jabeur lives for big showdowns. She is a proven veteran who has, unlike Navarro, reached a major final. She will be ready for this match and has the variety needed to keep Navarro off balance.

    Final Navarro-Jabeur Prediction & Pick

This match is being viewed as a virtual toss-up by the markets. If you think this match is as close as the spread suggests, betting on the match to go three sets makes sense. This means any over games won prop is a decent play. What you also get from an over games won prop, though, is that if the match goes only two sets but involves one tiebeaker or 7-5 set, an over can still hit. Navarro winning 6-4, 7-5, still hits the over.

Final Navarro-Jabeur Prediction & Pick: Navarro over 12.5 games won

The Australian Open is in full swing and one of the exciting matches to watch is Emma Navarro vs Ons Jabeur. Both players have been in good form leading up to this match and it promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Emma Navarro, a rising star in women’s tennis, has been making waves with her impressive performances on the court. The 20-year-old American has shown great determination and skill, and she will be looking to continue her success at the Australian Open.

On the other hand, Ons Jabeur is a seasoned player who has been on the tour for several years. The Tunisian player is known for her powerful groundstrokes and aggressive style of play. She has the experience and skill to challenge any opponent on the court.

In terms of predictions, this match is expected to be a close one. Both Navarro and Jabeur have the ability to win, but it will ultimately come down to who can execute their game plan better on the day. The odds are likely to be fairly even for this match.

As for my pick, I believe that Ons Jabeur will come out on top in this match. Her experience and aggressive playing style give her the edge over Navarro. However, it will definitely be a hard-fought battle and anything can happen in tennis.

Stay tuned to see how this exciting match unfolds at the Australian Open!

Wayne Gretzky’s daughter Paulina dons open back bodysuit as part of $3,685 outfit on New Year’s Eve party with siblings Emma and Trevor and others

NHL legend Wayne Gretzky’s daughter Paulina Gretzky and her husband Dustin Johnson hosted a grand New Year’s Eve party this week. The gathering was attended by Paulina’s brother Trevor, sister Emma and her boyfriend Stone Eby.

Paulina Gretzky shared a carousel of pictures from their New Year’s celebration on Instagram on Thursday. One of the images saw Dustin Johson and Paulina pouring champagne into a champagne tower consisting of multiple stacked glasses.

“New year loading…”, she wrote in the caption.

Paulina wore a $340 Parker open-back bodysuit and $545 Tami Coulotte with strass on the evening. She completed the look with Kahite’s Eva over-the-knee boots worth $2,800.

The next few pictures saw the power couple posing together along with the guests. Some images featured the impressive golden themed decor of the party. In the last image of the slide, the Gretzky sister’s posed together with their better halves.

Dustin Johnson wore a black puffer vest over a black sweater, paired with black pants and gray sneakers. Emma Gretzky chose a trendy denim jacket over a black mini-dress, paired with bold-patterned cowboy boots. Her boyfriend Stone Eby kept it classic with a white sweater, black pants, white sneakers and a baseball cap.

In the last image, Dustin and Paulina raised their hands alongside others against the scenic snow-covered mountains. Emma Gretzky and Stone Eby later reposted the stories on their own accounts.

Earlier last month, Paulina Gretzky celebrated her 36th birthday with a small family gathering. Her father Wayne Gretzky, mother Janet, husband Dustin Johnson, brothers Ty and Trevor, and brother-in-law Austin Johnson were all present.

Paulina shared photos from the evening on her Instagram. One showed her and Dustin sitting on a pink couch with striped cushions near a seashell-themed wall. Another featured her sitting with her parents at the dinner table while Dustin stood behind them.

A group photo saw Wayne, Trevor, Ty Gretzky, Austin and Dustin all dressed in evening suits. Dustin also wished her a happy birthday on Instagram, calling her an amazing wife and mom.
