SBC: It is a standard codec. The sound quality has changed. There is a delay (170-270ms during SBC connection)

AptX Adaptive: Almost CD sound quality. Low latency (60-80ms when connected in aptX Adaptive)

AptX Low Latency: Almost CD sound quality. Delay to limit (40-50ms when connecting aptX LL)

AptX HD: Equivalent to high-definition high sound quality (80-100ms when connected with aptX HD)

NOTE – Frequently asked questions:

1. The usage environment is unstable. In Bluetooth connection, do not use it around wireless LAN and other wireless devices, microwave ovens and other devices that emit radio waves, in areas with many obstacles, or in environments with poor radio wave status. There may be noise, sound delay, extreme decrease in communication speed, or errors.

2. The earphones are occupied by other Bluetooth devices, and your earphones have not been deleted from the information of the previous connected device when connecting to the new device. There are two devices with connection records simultaneously in the same location.

Does AK3040Pro consume much power from mobile phone or Nintendo Switch in handheld mode?

No, the eppfun AK3040Pro draws less than 40mA even when using the most power hungry codecs. That’s about 1% of most cell phone batteries and less than 1% of the Nintendo Switch’s battery.

If the connection is unstable, the surrounding radio waves may interfere.

Why is my eppfun Bluetooth audio adapter AK3040Pro not recognized as a BT device by WindowsPC/PS5?

Bluetooth audio adapter is only for audio-based Bluetooth devices, so it cannot be recognized as a BT device by Windows PC/PS5 and has no Bluetooth device list. For Windows 10 PC/PS5, go to Settings > System > Sound and find AK3040Pro.
