Case in point, Black Eyed Peas has canceled its PH Live residency, which was scheduled to launch the night before Valentine’s Day. Instead, it was heartbreak from the band, which posted on Instagram Stories on Monday, “To our dearest Peabodies, It is with a heavy heart that, in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not be moving forward as planned. Ticket providers will issue full refunds automatically. Stay tuned for updates on future performances by following us — we can’t wait to see you again.”
Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo are Black Eyed Peas listed lineup. Las Vegas guitar great George Pajon was also scheduled to return to the band.
The show was reportedly suffering from soft tickets sales, which the band did not address. Dubbed “Black Eyed Peas: 3008 The Las Vegas Residency” the series was to run 15 dates, starting Feb. 15-22 and continuing through select dates in March and May.
The band’s bow-out was the second significant shift in headliners’ schedules at PH live in four days. On Friday, Scorpions pushed their 60th-anniversary, five-show set to August, citing drummer Mikkey Dee’s ongoing health crisis brought on by sepsis. Those dates are on sale now.

Black Eyed Peas Cancel 2025 Las Vegas Residency Due to ‘Current Circumstances’
The Black Eyed Peas won’t be getting it started in Las Vegas anymore.
On Sunday, Jan. 19, the multi-platinum supergroup announced on Instagram Stories that they would be canceling their Las Vegas residency due to “current circumstances.”
“To our dearest Peabodies,” the statement began. “It is with a heavy heart that, in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not be moving forward as planned.”
They added: “Ticket providers will issue full refunds automatically. Stay tuned for updates on future performances by following us — we can’t wait to see you again.”

In September 2024, the Black Eyed Peas announced their inaugural residency on the Las Vegas Strip.
Called “Black Eyed Peas: 3008 The Las Vegas Residency,” the shows were scheduled to take place at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in February.
“Our first residency in Las Vegas gives Black Eyed Peas the opportunity to do what we do best, to dream up something brand new and creative that pushes the boundaries of the live show experience,” Will.i.am said in a statement at the time.
The hip-hop outfit was slated to perform 15 dates scattered through February, March and May.
In addition to Will.i.am, Apple de Ap, Taboo and J. Rey Soul (who joined in 2018 after Fergie left the group), it was revealed that an artificial intelligence presence named “Vida” would be a new member of the band.
“We predicted this in 2009 with ‘The E.N.D.’ album and the avatar personality in the video and the character on our album cover,” Will.i.am. told USA TODAY in September 2024. “When I was running around the projects as a kid in L.A. and Apple was running around in the Philippines, to think that we would have the first AI member of a globally recognized urban pop-hip-hop group … man.”

He further explained that “Vida” would not be a “hologram.”
“With a hologram, you have to experience it with a hologram projector, so you could only do that when the show is in Vegas,” Will.i.am, 49, told the publication. “When we have an AI member of the Black Eyed Peas, you can engage and communicate 24/7 … our member of the group will be patched into every band member, stage hands and the audience, if they want to engage with her.”
Reps for the Black Eyed Peas have not responded to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is continuing to attract transfer interest this January, with three main suitors emerging.
CaughtOffside understands Garnacho is being tracked closely by his former club Atletico Madrid, while there is also interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
Although the Argentina international started yesterday’s game against Arsenal in the FA Cup third round, he’s mostly found himself out of favour since Ruben Amorim took over as Man Utd manager.

Sources have indicated that United would be ready to let Garnacho go for the right price, but at the moment it seems the likes of Atletico and Juve would struggle to afford that.
A more likely outcome is that these clubs would try an initial loan move for Garnacho, with either an option or obligation to buy at the end of it.

With Amorim coming in and looking to rebuild this struggling side, it could make sense for the club to cash in on some players to help them fund the spending needed to revamp the squad.
Still, some MUFC supporters will no doubt feel that Garnacho is not someone who should be leaving under any circumstances.
On his day, the young South American can be a terrific asset in attack, and even if he’s not currently that consistent, he’s still learning the game and has plenty of time to improve.

It appears the Kings tried to add more firepower before firing coach Mike Brown.
After a slow start to the 2024-25 NBA season, Sacramento inquired about trades for four NBA stars before parting ways with Brown, ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reported Monday, citing league sources.
“As the losses mounted throughout November and December — 14 out of their past 20 — and the Kings fell further and further back in the Western Conference, the front office started looking for answers,” Shelburne wrote.
“The Kings inquired about Chicago’s Zach LaVine, New Orleans’ Brandon Ingram, Brooklyn’s Cam Thomas and Washington’s Kyle Kuzma, league sources said. They looked at smaller moves, ‘just to change things up,’ as one source put it. They even asked Brown if there were moves to make with the roster or the staff that might help, sources said.”
A team can never have enough stars, and Brown, as Shelburne wrote, was open to any positive additions the Kings could make.
But regardless, Sacramento needed — and still needs — more to reach the promised land.
The Kings formed the trio of De’Aaron Fox, DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis this past summer after bringing in the mid-range maestro through a three-team sign-and-trade deal. Sacramento (13-19) hasn’t played as well as many expected it to this season, and currently is the Western Conference’s No. 12 seed entering play on Monday.
The Kings could use any help they can get from here on out — especially with Doug Christie serving as interim coach.
Any of the Bulls’ LaVine, Pelicans’ Ingram, Nets’ Thomas and Wizards’ Kuzma would be interesting candidates to save the Kings’ frustrating season. Though, it’s uncertain whether Sacramento will kick the tires on the quartet again before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
The Sacramento Kings were reportedly exploring trade options for NBA stars before ultimately deciding to fire head coach Luke Walton, according to a new report.The Kings had been rumored to be interested in making a big move before the coaching change, with sources indicating that they had their eye on potential trades for players like Ben Simmons, Damian Lillard, and Bradley Beal.
While no deals were ultimately made before Walton was let go, the Kings’ interest in pursuing star-level talent indicates that they were looking to shake things up and make a splash in the league.
It remains to be seen what direction the Kings will take now that Walton is out, but the team’s reported pursuit of trades for NBA stars suggests that they are looking to make significant changes in order to improve their roster and compete at a higher level in the league.

Amorim to dump Ten Hag favourite for ‘top’ signing as Brighton, Belgium stars eyed
Ruben Amorim is keen to replace Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana and is interested in Brighton & Hove Albion star Bart Verbruggen plus a Belgian talent, as per reports.
Onana followed his former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag to Man Utd in July 2023 when the Red Devils paid £47million to make him David de Gea’s replacement. Ten Hag felt that Onana’s ability on the ball would help United to play out from the back.
While the 28-year-old has better vision than De Gea and has pulled off some great saves in a United shirt, he has also been guilty of some very poor errors.
Ten Hag’s replacement, Amorim, is understood to be on the hunt for a new keeper who can be more reliable than Onana.
According to the Daily Star, Onana was ‘unsettled’ at Old Trafford before Amorim arrived and the situation has only worsened in recent weeks.
Amorim and United have ‘begun the search’ for a new No 1, with Brighton’s Verbruggen firmly ‘on their radar’.
United hope to bring in a ‘top keeper’ who can help catapult them up the Premier League table and believe Netherlands international Verbruggen could be their man.
The 22-year-old may have only kept four clean sheets in 17 games for Brighton this season, but he is used to making plenty of saves each game due to the Seagulls’ attacking and expansive style of play.
Brighton paid Anderlecht €20m for Verbruggen in the same month that Onana joined United, and they will want to make a profit before letting him leave.
The report states that United will need to pay at least £30m (€36.2m / $37.7m) to strike an agreement with Brighton.

Man Utd looking at Verbruggen, Lammens
While Verbruggen is the ‘favourite’ keeper option for United, he is not the only player on their list.
A separate report from The Telegraph states that United are also ‘monitoring’ Belgium U21 keeper Senne Lammens.
The 22-year-old has been scouted by United on several occasions this season while starring for Royal Antwerp.
The Red Devils will need to fend off clubs such as Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund if they are to win the race for Lammens.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to rule out joining United’s rivals Manchester City in what would be a controversial move.
At the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, Ronaldo admitted that City are going through a difficult moment but tipped Pep Guardiola to find the solution.
When asked about joining City to help them out of their problems, the Portuguese icon said while smiling: “You never know what is going to happen.”
Ronaldo has left United twice in his career and Marcus Rashford may soon follow in his footsteps.
Trusted United reporter Andy Mitten has added to claims that Rashford is finished at Old Trafford by stating that ‘every previous manager’ has found it tough to deal with the forward’s behaviour.
Mitten added: “I’ve spoken to them. They’ve told me in confidence going back years and years and years.”
