    If De’Aaron Fox eventually does become available on the trade market, it might not be until this offseason.

    As rumors begin to swirl regarding the star guard’s future in Sacramento after the Kings’ (15-19) slow start to the 2024-25 NBA season and the recent firing of coach Mike Brown, Fox has not requested a trade, The Athletic’s Sam Amick reported in his latest column, citing league sources.

    Amick also reported that while Fox has not requested a trade, that hasn’t stopped interested teams from planning a potential run at the 27-year-old, who they believe is more likely to become available this summer rather than before the NBA’s Feb. 6 trade deadline this season.

    The teams Amick mentions being discussed the most as potential Fox landing spots, if he does eventually become available, are the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, with the Orlando Magic and Houston Rockets also viewed as two teams that could make sense.

    In 34 games this season, Fox is averaging a career-high 26.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game on 49.2-percent shooting from the field and 32.9 percent from 3-point range.

    Both Fox and the Kings, at least publicly, are committed to turning Sacramento’s season around and making a playoff push with the second half of the season right around the corner.

    However, if things continue to fall apart for Sacramento, there likely would be no shortage of interest in Fox if he does become available in the coming weeks.

    According to On3’s EJ Holland, Pantelis is looking to visit Michigan after the recruiting dead period ends. The 5-foot-11 200-pound senior had an amazing campaign for Yale this year. He compiled over 1,000 yards, 69 catches and 11 touchdowns in 11 games. Moving from Ivy League competition to B10 level competition will be a bit tricky, but Pantelis has experience and could easily slide in for some slot receiver snaps or assist on punt and kick return team duties. Educationally it should not be an issue transferring credits from Yale to Michigan.

    Unlike Pantelis, Stellato tells On3’s Peter Nakos that he is looking to visit Michigan but is “working through some transfer credit issues right now”. The 6-foot 190-pound Junior has battled nagging injuries over his three-year career at Clemson. His career stats of 65 catches, 600 yards and two touchdowns are not eye-popping but when healthy he is a great addition to any WR room.

    Manchester United are eyeing up a move for Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen with Andre Onana increasingly unsettled, according to reports.

    Onana moved to Old Trafford from Inter Milan in a £47million deal in the summer of 2023 and reunited with his former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag. 

    But Ten Hag was sacked in October and replaced by Ruben Amorim, and the Daily Star have claimed Onana is unhappy with life in Manchester.

    The same outlet have also reported that the 28-year-old was already unsettled before Ten Hag’s dismissal, but the situation has worsened since Amorim’s arrival. As a result, United are said to be sounding out replacements with Verbruggen a target.

    Verbruggen has become Brighton’s first-choice stopper, fending off competition from Jason Steele, and is also the No 1 for the Netherlands.

    He was snapped up by the Seagulls in a £16m deal in the same summer Onana joined United and has three years left on his current contract.

    Both Onana and understudy Altay Bayindir have been criticised after making glaring mistakes in recent weeks. United’s No 2 conceded directly from a corner during the Carabao Cup loss to Tottenham before Onana did the same a week later at Wolves.

    Amorim’s side have also been linked with Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens.

    Belgian international Lammens has been the first-choice goalkeeper for the Belgian club since joining from Club Brugge in 2023. He is thought to have attracted attention from several of Europe’s top outfits, including Borussia Dortmund and Leeds. 

    It was reported earlier this week that United sent scouts to watch him in action.

    However, the club are hamstrung by a need to comply with the Premier League’s PSR rules and have little room to manoeuvre financially. Mail Sport understands Marcus Rashford will be offloaded if they are able to find a taker for the forward.

    A loan deal with a fee and an obligation to buy has also been floated but this will give little relief for new arrivals, leaving Amorim in a difficult position. 

    Generally, the majority of his players have a price after their horror start to the season. United are 14th in the table and just eight points above the drop zone.

    United return to action when they host Newcastle United on Monday night.

    Chelsea have two Premier League forwards in their sights ahead of the January transfer window.

    Enzo Maresca has quickly won Chelsea fans over since succeeding Mauricio Pochettino in the Stamford Bridge hot seat, with the Blues surpassing expectations in the first half of the Premier League campaign.

    But having spent in the region of £220million on summer signings, the west London outfit are preparing to enter the transfer market once again with a view to boosting their title hopes in the second half of the season.

    A resurgent Nicolas Jackson has started all but one of Chelsea’s opening 17 league matches this term and the club are keen to ease the Senegalese’s workload by strengthening up front.

    According to talkSPORT, Ipswich’s Liam Delap, 21, and Brighton’s Evan Ferguson, 20, find themselves at the top of Chelsea’s shortlist of attacking targets, though a deal for either player will likely prove difficult next month.

    It’s claimed Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Delap on multiple occasions, with the England Under-21 international firing on all cylinders across an eye-catching debut season at Portman Road.

    A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in Delap in recent weeks, including Manchester City, who made sure to include a buy-back option for the youngster in their summer deal with Ipswich.

    The report states that Ferguson – who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury – remains a player firmly on Chelsea’s radar, but Brighton are said to be demanding a fee of between £80-100m for the Republic of Ireland man.

    Ferguson, who has also been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Leicester and West Ham, is tied into a contract at the Amex Stadium until 2029.

    Recent reports suggested Ferguson could be set for a loan move in January, with the striker managing just one goal in all competitions this season for the Seagulls.

    Responding to the speculation, Fabian Hurzeler insisted he was ‘really happy’ to have Ferguson in his ranks but eager to ‘find the right solution’ for the Irishman.

    ‘At first, I think he needs to get back on the pitch. The rumours, I won’t discuss them in public,’ the Brighton head coach said ahead of his side’s trip to Aston Villa.

    ‘I think it’s very important the player knows our idea, that we know the idea from the player and then it’s most important to be honest with each other, to find the right solution for the club and in the end also for the player.

    ‘I’m really happy that Evan is in our squad and I’m hoping that he will be back on the pitch as soon as possible.’

    This isn’t the first time engagement rumors have circled the couple. In August, a Life & Style source claimed, “Bradley has already determined he is going to ask Gigi to marry him. “They have been committed to each other and to their plans for some time and now it is just a matter of when.” Their 20-year-age gap doesn’t seem to be an issue since they are in a similar stage of life when it comes to child-rearing.

    It would be a monumental step for Cooper, who had a brief one-year marriage to actress Jennifer Esposito from 2006 to 2007. He and Shayk dated for four years from 2015 until 2019. Hadid’s relationship with Malik was more tumultuous with an on-again, off-again situation that lasted from 2015 until 2021. They eventually split after an altercation between Malik and her mom, Yolanda Foster.

    It led to four counts of harassment against the former One Direction singer, and he pleaded no contest to the charges even though he “adamantly den[ied] striking Yolanda Hadid,” per TMZ. He had to enroll in an anger management class and a domestic violence program along with 90 days of probation, according to People.

    With the drama behind Hadid, her focus is on her future with Cooper.
