  • Eli Manning is favored to beat Peyton in the FanDuel Kick Of Destiny

There’s always fun to be had around the Super Bowl. Between the commercials, the halftime show, and all the pageantry around the game, the NFL always goes all out.

As a part of this year’s festivities, FanDuel Sportsbook is pitting New York Giants great Eli Manning against his brother, Peyton Manning, in the Kick Of Destiny.

So what is the Kick Of Destiny? The two quarterbacks will compete to prove that they could do Adam Vinatieri and Lawrence Tynes’ jobs, and go head-to-head in a competition of 25-yard field goals attempts.

(It’s worth noting that extra points are 33-yard kicks.)

    Rules

    • Peyton and Eli Manning will face off in a field goal kicking competition.
    • Each kicker will attempt a 25-yard kick.
    • If the first kicker makes, the second kicker is given a chance to tie.
    • If the first kicker misses, the second kicker is given a chance to win.
    • If both kickers miss, they will kick again until there is a winner.
    • If no winner is decided after three rounds, the kicker who kicked it closest to the center target on the net in the last round wins the tiebreaker.

SB Nation reacts asked fans who would come out on top, with the majority voting for the younger Manning.

The Brothers Manning are among the most prolific quarterbacks in NFL history. But unlike triple-threat George Blanda, Eli and Peyton were quarterback specialists.

But as we all know, being a multi-discipline athlete requires athleticism. Eli has always been the more athletic of the two — recall the time Eli outran reigning DPOY and HOF pass rusher Jason Taylor for a touchdown. Being a successful kicker also demands the cool, calm demeanor to not let nerves impact the process, and Eli was well-known as one of the most clutch quarterbacks of all time. Easy E is famous for his steady keel and imperviousness to pressure.

That all works in Eli’s favor, and hopefully he’ll get the ultimate bragging rights over Peyton.

    How to Play

    1. Download or Log In to FanDuel Sportsbook.

    • Click the Kick of Destiny Icon on the homepage with your new or existing account.

    2. Make your FREE Pick before 3pm ET on Super Bowl Sunday.

    • Pick whether you think Peyton or Eli will win the Kick of Destiny 3.

    3. Win a share of $10,000,000 in Bonus Bets if you made the correct pick.

    • Watch live Super Bowl Sunday on Fox to see the Mannings kick! Then, check back Monday to see how much you got!

The highly anticipated matchup between brothers Eli Manning and Peyton Manning in the FanDuel Kick Of Destiny is set to be a showdown for the ages. And according to the latest odds, Eli Manning is favored to come out on top.

Eli Manning, known for his clutch performances and two Super Bowl victories, is no stranger to pressure situations. With his experience and skillset, many believe he has what it takes to outduel his older brother on the virtual gridiron.

Peyton Manning, on the other hand, is a future Hall of Famer and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. His football IQ and ability to dissect defenses could give him the edge in this matchup.

But when it comes down to it, the odds are in Eli Manning’s favor. Fans and analysts alike are predicting a close game, but ultimately believe Eli will emerge victorious in the FanDuel Kick Of Destiny.

Who will come out on top in this epic battle of the Mannings? Tune in to find out.

  • DIRECTV Stream Suffers Technical Meltdown With FanDuel Sports Network

    By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.
Former editor of Satellite DIRECT magazine. Reported on DIRECTV for more than 30 years.

DIRECTV Stream last night experienced a technical snafu with the FanDuel Sports Network’s regional sports channels, causing some subscribers to be unable to watch their favorite NHL and NBA teams.

The games affected included the Dallas Mavericks-Oklahoma City Thunder NBA contest, and the NHL games between the St. Louis Blues and Vegas Golden Knights and Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes, and perhaps others.

Fans began complaining on social media sites around 7:30 p.m. ET that the FanDuel RSNs on DIRECTV Stream were showing a volleyball or high school football game instead of the scheduled NBA and NHL contests. (The issue apparently did not affect DIRECTV’s satellite subscribers.)

“Why do you have volleyball on instead of the game?” asked @postingthenews1 on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“@Canes Is anyone else getting volleyball on FanDuel SN on Directv stream instead of the Canes game?” added @caniac827.

“I can confirm it is a DirecTv problem. I launched the FanDuel Sports mobile application and the game is playing just fine. Just download the FanDuel sports app and then link your TV provider if it’s DIRECTV and then watch it through the app and it’ll work just fine,” said another fan on X.

DIRECTV’s X customer help team soon acknowledged the issue in a response to angry customers.

“We’re sorry there’s an issue with FanDuel Sports Network. We’re aware and working on it. DIRECTV appreciates your patience,” the TV provider wrote.

FanDuel’s X customer help team chimed in with a similar statement:

“We are sorry about the issues viewing tonight’s Thunders game. We are currently in communication with our partner, DTV, regarding this issue. In the meantime you can reach out to DTV for help or you can stream on the FanDuel Sports Network app using your DTV credentials,” the RSN company said.

However, the problem persisted, triggering an escalating anger among subscribers as the night progressed.

“That’s great! As a DIRECTV customer I feel like a winner too! Nothing like to paying extra for fanduel and getting to watch replay of Texas high school football,” wrote @soonerd483.

Well @DIRECTV streaming screwed is over go to watch the game and we no longer have Fan Duel Network. Any suggestions for streaming cable services that have Fan Duel Network?” wrote @alexwarren321.

DIRECTV at 9:49 p.m. ET tweeted that it was still working on the issue. The TV provider has not posted an update since. The TV Answer Man has asked DIRECTV for a comment and will report back here if we receive one.

“We’re aware of this known issue and are working on a fix,” the company said. “In the meantime, you can stream on the FanDuel Sports Network app using your DIRECTV credentials.

However, FanDuel’s X team said shortly after 10 p.m. ET that the problem had been resolved:

“Hey fans, the DTV issue has now been fixed, we genuinely apologize for the inconvenience. If you are still having issues, please get in contact with our support team @ help.fanduelsportsnetwork.com.”

  • FanDuel Lineup Plays and Strategy for Wednesday, January 22

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

We have a big slate on tap Wednesday night, and although the injury report is relatively light and therefore doesn’t make a big ripple in the player pool, there are some particularly big names whose status will bear monitoring.

    Slate Overview

For the latest spreads and over-unders, visit RotoWire’s NBA Odds page. There, you can also find player props, futures, picks articles and sportsbook bonus codes

Listed spreads/totals are from FanDuel Sportsbook and current as of Wednesday, 1/22 @ 11:30 a.m. ET:

Phoenix Suns (-11.5) at Brooklyn Nets (O/U: 218.0)

Detroit Pistons at Atlanta Hawks (-2.5) (O/U: 234.5)

Minnesota Timberwolves (-3) at Dallas Mavericks (O/U: 216.0)

Cleveland Cavaliers (-3) at Houston Rockets (O/U: 229.5)

Milwaukee Bucks at New Orleans Pelicans — POSTPONED

Charlotte Hornets at Memphis Grizzlies (-12) (O/U: 240.5)

Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder (-17) (O/U: 227.5)

Golden State Warriors at Sacramento Kings (-7) (O/U: 230.0)

Boston Celtics (-11) at Los Angeles Clippers (O/U: 218.5)

The betting landscape for Wednesday’s slate is a bit of a study in extremes, as there are four double-digit favorites, including the Thunder with a massive 17-point projected advantage over the Jazz. However, that still leaves us with five games that could turn out to be very competitive, with the Pistons-Hawks and Cavaliers-Rockets matchups especially standing out since they also have large projected totals.

On that front, the picture is pretty optimistic, considering five games have totals north of 227 points, and only two of those are attached to games that have expansive spreads.

    Injury Situations to Monitor

For all the latest updates, visit RotoWire’s NBA Injury News page and our comprehensive NBA Injury Report.

    James Harden, LAC (groin): QUESTIONABLE

If Harden can’t play, Norman Powell will be the likeliest biggest beneficiary in terms of increased usage if he can play through his questionable tag, while Kevin Porter is likely to draw a start at point guard.

    Jalen Williams, NOP (hip): QUESTIONABLE

If Williams doesn’t play, Isaiah Joe could remain on the first unit and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will likely benefit the most from a usage standpoint.

    Jalen Johnson, ATL (shoulder): QUESTIONABLE

If Johnson sits out, any of David Roddy, De’Andre Hunter or Vit Krejci could draw the start at power forward.

    Other notable injuries:

    Luka Doncic, DAL (calf): OUT

    Evan Mobley, CLE (calf): OUT

    Kawhi Leonard, LAC (knee): OUT

    Ivica Zubac, LAC (eye): OUT

    Brandon Miller, CHA (wrist): OUT

    Cam Thomas, BKN (hamstring): OUT

    Isaiah Hartenstein, OKC (calf): OUT

    Draymond Green, GSW (calf): OUT

    Norman Powell, LAC (back): QUESTIONABLE

    Lauri Markkanen, UTA (back): QUESTIONABLE

    John Collins, UTA (hip): QUESTIONABLE

    Bradley Beal, PHO (ankle): QUESTIONABLE

    Trae Young, ATL (Achilles): PROBABLE

    Elite Players

We have five players with five-figure salaries on Wednesday’s slate – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($11,600), Domantas Sabonis ($10,500), Jayson Tatum ($10,300), LaMelo Ball ($10,200) and Cade Cunningham ($10,000).

SGA could take the floor without Jalen Williams once again and has scored over 54 FD points in three straight, including 58.6 against the Nets on Monday without Williams available. However, OKC is a massive 17-point favorite, which implies Gilgeous-Alexander could see less than a full workload.

Sabonis has at least 50 FD points in four of the last six games and is facing a Warriors team he put up 48.1 FD points against across only 29 minutes on Jan. 5.

Tatum has a pair of tallies of over 50 FD points in his last five games alone, and he’ll face a Clippers team that could potentially be without James Harden and Norman Powell in addition to Ivica Zubac.

Ball has scored between 43.7 and 65.5 FD points in five consecutive games and draws a favorable matchup against the Grizzlies.

Cunningham has flashed a floor of 45 FD points in five of his last six games and will be a central figure in what could be one of the most DFS-friendly game environments of the night against the Hawks.

    Expected Chalk

    Other likely chalk plays include:

    Kevin Durant, PHO ($9,600)

Durant scored 64.9 FD points two games ago and has a very favorable matchup against the Nets, which should keep him very popular.

    Trae Young, ATL ($9,400)

Young will be in what should be a highly favorable game environment for DFS production and has exceeded 56 FD points in three of his last five games, factors that should lock in a high roster rate at his salary.

    Alperen Sengun, HOU ($9,200)

Sengun saw a dip to 27.1 FD points in his most recent game after six straight games with more than 40 FD points, but he should remain very popular in what projects to be a highly competitive game against the Cavaliers.

    Anthony Edwards, MIN ($9,200)

Edwards has scored between 41.6 and 63.7 FD points in four of the last five games and has at least 32 actual points in three of those contests.

    Donovan Mitchell, CLE ($8,900)

Mitchell has scored 49.5 to 56.1 FD points in three of the last four games and will be a key figure in what could be one of the most competitive games of the night.

    Key Values

Jalen Duren, DET at ATL ($6,300)

Duren is coming off having scored a season-high 52.3 FD points against the Rockets on Monday, a game that featured his third straight double-double and four steals. The talented big man is enjoying a stellar January overall, averaging 11.9 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and 33.8 FD points across 11 games despite playing a modest 25.9 minutes per contest. The Pistons-Hawks game has a narrow spread and high projected total as well, and Atlanta checks in ranked No. 21 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to centers (33.8) while also allowing 56.3 FD points per contest to the position. The Hawks are also giving up the fifth-most points in the paint per game in the last three (53.3), an area of the floor where 82.5 percent of Duren’s scoring originates from.

Naz Reid, MIN at DAL ($5,900)

Reid has had some ups and downs this season, but he enters Wednesday on an extended stretch of impressive production that dates back to New Year’s Eve. The veteran big man has averaged 31.6 FD points in his last 12 games, getting to that figure via 17.4 points (on 52.8 percent shooting, including 52.9 percent from distance), 6.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks across 27.3 minutes per contest. Reid just scored a season-high 29 points against the Grizzlies on Monday, and he’s eclipsed 30 FD points in six of his last seven games. He has a tally of 25.8 FD points across 26 minutes versus the Mavs this season, and Dallas ranks No. 20 in offensive efficiency rating allowed to centers (33.7) while allowing 56 FD points per game to the position.

Jaylin Williams, OKC vs. UTA ($5,400)

Williams will continue filling in for Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) on Wednesday, and the 2022 second-round pick will check in having scored 31.5 and 36.1 FD points in his last two games, with both those being starts. Williams has eclipsed 20 FD points in five games overall this season (three times off the bench), and his three efforts of greater than 31 FD points have all come within the last 10 days. The Jazz make for a great target as well, considering Utah is allowing a Western Conference-high 36.5 offensive efficiency rating and 60.2 FD points per game to centers.

ALSO CONSIDER: Tari Eason, HOU vs. CLE ($5,700); Jaden McDaniels, MIN at DAL ($5,400); Moses Moody, GSW at SAC ($4,200)

Are you ready to dominate your FanDuel contests on Wednesday, January 22? Look no further than these top lineup plays and strategies to help you secure that winning lineup!

    1. Target high-scoring games: Look for matchups with high over/under totals, as these games typically feature plenty of scoring opportunities for fantasy players. Keep an eye on teams with fast-paced offenses and weak defenses for maximum fantasy production.

    2. Utilize value plays: Identify players who are priced lower than their expected production value. This will allow you to fit in more high-priced studs while still maintaining a competitive lineup. Look for players who are seeing increased minutes or opportunities due to injuries or lineup changes.

    3. Mix in contrarian plays: Differentiate your lineup by selecting players who may be lower-owned but have the potential for a big game. This can help you gain an edge over the competition and increase your chances of finishing in the money.

    4. Monitor injury news: Stay up to date on the latest injury updates and lineup changes leading up to lock. This will help you adjust your lineup accordingly and take advantage of any value that may open up due to injuries.

With these lineup plays and strategies in mind, you’ll be well-equipped to build a winning FanDFuel lineup for Wednesday, January 22. Good luck!

  • Reds, FanDuel announce telecast rights agreement for 2025

CINCINNATI – The Reds and Main Street Sports announced on Monday that the team’s 2025 local television broadcasts of games will be produced and distributed on the FanDuel Sports Network.

This move is a reversal of plans announced in November to have MLB Media handle Reds local broadcasts. Main Street Sports is the new name for Diamond Sports Group, which owned Bally Sports Ohio, the Reds’ longtime television home. Bally Sports has since been rebranded as the FanDuel Sports Network.

So while some of the brand names have changed, the location of where fans can find the game broadcasts is still the same under this new one-year contract. For 2025, fans will be getting more of what they already know and on the same television channel.

“Representatives of the former Diamond Sports and myself and Phil [Castellini, the team’s president] stayed in touch periodically since we made the decision to go to [MLB]. Recently, as in the last few weeks, they approached us about re-engaging and discussing our 2025 broadcast rights,” Reds chief operating officer and chief financial officer Doug Healy said. “Major League Baseball was a great partner and remains a great partner. And they are incredibly supportive of our efforts to continue our relationship with FanDuel in 2025.”

With the exception of games selected for national TV partners, FanDuel Sports Ohio will televise all Reds regular-season games, plus a selection of Spring Training exhibition games, via cable and satellite providers and streaming.

As in previous seasons, the FanDuel Sports Ohio network will also have full 30-minute pregame and postgame shows.

“We are eager to continue our partnership with the Reds and look forward to collaborating with them to elevate the fan experience,” David DeVoe, COO and CFO, Main Street Sports, said in a statement. “With our best-in-class partnerships, cutting-edge technology and highly skilled production team, we remain committed to delivering high quality viewing options to local fans. We are confident that our recent agreements and reimagined business model position us to best serve our partners. We are appreciative of the support from both Major League Baseball and the Reds.”

Via a direct streaming package available through the FanDuel Sports Network app, fans in the Reds television market can still watch the games — without local blackouts — either through authentication with their pay-tv credentials or by purchasing a direct consumer subscription.

Subscription options and pricing will be announced in the near future, Healy said.

As for the TV broadcast crew, it will likely look quite familiar but those deals have yet to be finalized.

“It’s always been our intention to retain as many members of our on-air talent in 2025. The reason is to keep the broadcast familiar with our fans,” Healy said. “We’ve got a great group of broadcasters and they know our franchise in and out. Baseball had started to have conversations with our on-air talent. Now that we’ve made the decision to continue with FanDuel, we are actively lining up our 2025 roster in order to keep that continuity to our fans.”

Economically, Main Street Sports improved its previous offers to carry Reds games under the new deal. This should directly affect the club’s payroll and president of baseball operations Nick Krall’s ability to make moves to improve the roster. As recently as last week, Krall said, “We’ve got a little bit, not a ton,” when it came to payroll flexibility.

“The deal with FanDuel does enhance our economics slightly. Ownership does remain committed to re-investing every available dollar back into the franchise,” Healy said. “It’s our goal to continue to give Nick and his staff every available resource that the franchise has in 2025. Then it’s up to Nick how best to spend that.”

MLB Media will broadcast games for the Padres, Diamondbacks, Rockies, Twins and Guardians in 2025 and remains an option for any club that is in need of a broadcast and streaming partner. Like the Reds, the Brewers recently reversed course from their plan to join MLB Media and returned to FanDuel Sports Network with a one-year deal.

Ultimately, in future seasons beyond 2025, the Reds could have their games produced and distributed by MLB Media.

“The way we view this is we had two good options,” Healy said. “We had MLB Media and we had FanDuel. For 2025, obviously we are going on the path of FanDuel. Long term, it’s our intention to partner with MLB Media. The Commissioner, [deputy commissioner] Noah Garden and the team up at Major League Baseball, they really have created a world class product. We believe that they are the long-term future to enhance broadcasts for our fans and teams in the league. They will be able to distribute across multiple and different types of platforms that we believe will be a win-win for fans of Major League Baseball.”

  • FanDuel NFL DFS Picks: Divisional Round Sunday Main Slate

The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs will come to a close on Sunday, with two games set to be played between teams with Super Bowl aspirations. The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Philadelphia Eagles to get things started on Sunday, which will then be followed by one of the most anticipated matchups of the season as the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills will square off.

Using our NFL DFS projections as a guide, let’s take a look at some of the best daily fantasy football plays at each position — accounting for salary — on the Divisional Round Sunday main slate.

    Slate Overview

Here is a snapshot of each team’s outlook, including opponent, implied team total, over/under, and spread based on the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.

    Quarterbacks

    Josh Allen, Bills

    FanDuel Salary: $9,000
    Matchup: vs. BAL

While you can make arguments for nearly everyone on a two-game slate, why wouldn’t we just use the two QBs that have been the best at their position all season? Even though Baltimore’s defense has been playing much better in the latter part of the season, Josh Allen just put up 25.5 FanDuel points (FDPs) against the third-best schedule-adjusted defense of the Denver Broncos, and he’s notched 25-plus FDPs in four of his last six starts.

    Lamar Jackson, Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $8,700
    Matchup: at BUF

Aside from Lamar Jackson rushing for 63-plus yards in five of his last six outings, he’s also tossed multiple TDs in 13 of his last 15 contests while averaging a slate-best 25.9 FDPs per game. Not only do our projections have Jackson leading all QBs on the Sunday main slate in FDPs (22.6), but the Bills are giving up the seventh-most yards per carry (5.4) and the ninth-worst defensive rushing success rate (52.6%) against QBs, per NextGenStats.

    Running Backs

    Derrick Henry, Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $9,600
    Matchup: at BUF

The Ravens are currently slight favorites on the road versus the Bills, and stacking Lamar Jackson with Derrick Henry to get exposure to Baltimore’s lethal rushing attack is certainly viable with the Ravens having the highest implied total (26.5) on the slate. Whenever Baltimore and Buffalo faced each other back in Week 4, Henry produced a season-high 37.4 FDPs, and he’s tallied 22-plus FDPs in four straight games.

    Saquon Barkley, Eagles

    FanDuel Salary: $9,300
    Matchup: vs. LA

In the first meeting versus the Rams back in Week 12, Saquon Barkley exploded for 302 scrimmage yards and 2 TDs en route to 47.2 FDPs, and there is going to potentially be snow coming down in Philly for Sunday’s matchup. Despite Saquon having to compete with Jalen Hurts for TDs near the goal line, LA’s defense is permitting the 10th-most yards per carry (4.5) and 9th-most rushing yards over expected per attempt (0.54) to RBs.

    Justice Hill, Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $5,400
    Matchup: at BUF

You could undoubtedly make a case for James Cook for Sunday’s slate, but the Bills rotate their RBs, and he’s somewhat reliant on breaking big plays. If the Ravens find themselves in a negative game script or elect to attack the Bills’ 21st-ranked schedule-adjusted pass defense, Justice Hill is a stellar salary-saving option — especially with Buffalo coughing up the sixth-most FDPs per target (1.32), fifth-most receiving TDs (6), third-highest target rate (22.3%), and third-most yards per route run (1.41) to RBs.

    Wide Receivers

    Puka Nacua, Rams

    FanDuel Salary: $8,500
    Matchup: at PHI

Even in the Rams’ blowout win over the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round where he finished with only 5 catches for 44 yards, Puka Nacua still led the team in target share (34.6%) by a decent margin. Across the 10 games he has started and finished this season, Nacua paces LA’s offense in target share (36.8%), air yards share (35.0%), red-zone target share (35.0%), receptions per game (7.9), receiving yards per game (98.8), and yards per route run (3.71).

    DeVonta Smith, Eagles

    FanDuel Salary: $7,300
    Matchup: vs. LA

Over the last four games of the regular season where DeVonta Smith was active for the Eagles, he posted the second-highest target share (35.5%), most receptions per game (6.8), most receiving yards per game (79.3), and most yards per route run (2.96) on the team. Comparatively, A.J. Brown registered a 37.6% target share, 5.8 receptions per game, 71.5 receiving yards per game, and 2.58 yards per route run during that span, so playing Smith at a salary that is $1,100 lower than Brown could be the move.

    Rashod Bateman, Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $6,200
    Matchup: at BUF

While Rashod Bateman caught both of his targets for only 24 yards in the Wild Card Round, he still found the end zone, leading to a modest 9.4 FDPs. This week’s matchup against the Bills sets up better for Bateman to remain utilized throughout the game as the spread is tight, the total is high, and Buffalo is allowing the 10th-most FDPs per target (1.51) and 4th-highest catch rate over expected (+3.5%) to WRs.

    Khalil Shakir, Bills

    FanDuel Salary: $6,100
    Matchup: vs. BAL

It can be a headache trying to guess which WR from the Bills will be the most productive, but Khalil Shakir is definitely the most consistent of the bunch with his team-high marks in target share (23.0%) and yards per route run (2.40) in his 16 appearances this season. Our projections have Shakir listed as the best point-per-dollar play (1.8x value) at the WR position on Sunday’s slate.

    Tight Ends

    Dallas Goedert, Eagles

    FanDuel Salary: $6,100
    Matchup: vs. LA

Dallas Goedert has popped up on the injury report late in the week with an illness, but it remains to be seen if it’s anything that will sideline him for Sunday’s clash with the Rams. If Goedert is active for Philadelphia in the Divisional Round, he’ll get to face a Los Angeles defense that is giving up the eight-most receiving TDs (8), sixth-highest target rate (20.9%), fifth-most yards per route run (1.66), and third-most FDPs per game (12.5) to TEs.

    Mark Andrews, Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $5,900
    Matchup: at BUF

Despite Mark Andrews having a quiet performance in the Wild Card Round, he was on a six-game streak of scoring a TD and nine-plus FDPs before the playoffs began. With Zay Flowers trending toward being out again for the Ravens, Baltimore’s passing game will lean on Rashod Bateman and their TEs versus the Bills.

    Isaiah Likely, Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $5,100
    Matchup: at BUF

In the absence of Flowers in the Wild Card Round, Isaiah Likely led the Ravens in snap rate (79.2%), target share (21.1%), air yards share (30.6%), and yards per route run (3.53). Likely should be on the field plenty again in Sunday’s highly anticipated showdown against the Bills, and our projections have Likely as the third-best point-per-dollar play (1.2x value) at the TE position on Sunday’s main slate.

    Defenses

    Baltimore Ravens

    FanDuel Salary: $4,100
    Matchup: at BUF

Baltimore’s defense has looked vastly improved down the stretch, and while they’ve benefitted from positive matchups, they’ve still scored 14-plus FDPs in three of their last four games. If the Ravens can secure an early lead and force the Bills to drop back constantly with Josh Allen, that opens the door for more sacks and turnovers.

    Los Angeles Rams

    FanDuel Salary: $3,500
    Matchup: at PHI

For the sake of saving salary, the defense of the Rams will be mentioned here after they produced 23 FDPs in the Wild Card Round with nine points allowed, nine sacks, two turnovers, and a TD. Despite Philly carrying a 25.5-point implied total, our projections have Los Angeles recording the most sacks (2.5) on the slate.

    Quarterback:
    – Josh Allen (BUF): Allen has been on fire lately and faces a vulnerable Chiefs defense in what should be a high-scoring game.

    Running Back:
    – Aaron Jones (GB): Jones is a dual-threat back who should see plenty of touches against a tough Rams defense.
    – Cam Akers (LAR): Akers has emerged as the lead back for the Rams and should get plenty of opportunities against the Packers.

    Wide Receiver:
    – Stefon Diggs (BUF): Diggs has been one of the best receivers in the league this season and should continue to produce against the Chiefs.
    – Davante Adams (GB): Adams is Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target and should have a big game against the Rams.

    Tight End:
    – Travis Kelce (KC): Kelce is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses and should have a big game against the Bills.

    Defense/Special Teams:
    – Green Bay Packers: The Packers have a strong defense and should be able to contain the Rams’ offense.

These are just a few of the top picks for the Divisional Round Sunday Main Slate on FanDuel. Good luck with your lineup, and may the DFS gods be in your favor!
